(Slight homophobia bullying warning for this chapter)
Two weeks passed; two weeks of calm and enjoyment for Will and Five. Sure they couldn't show their love in public, but when they were able to be romantic and sweet was truly a highlight of their day. Five enjoyed having someone that loved him and he never thought he would have that in his life. It was something he was grateful for even when he was arrogant at times. Meanwhile Will was thankful for Five and that he truly cared about him. It gave him hope and made him feel like he could handle anything. The pair wasn't a typical one and sometimes strange, but they went well together just like Five's peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches.
Will and Five showed up to school and met up with Mike, Dustin and Lucas in front. He noticed that the guys had an unsettled look on their faces, which concerned Will.
"Hey…did something happen?" Will asked.
"Did some guys or girls decide to vandalize your locker again?" Five said, kicking up his skateboard and holding it in his arm.
"Not ours." Mike told them.
The guys trudged to Will's locker and it was wrecked. Shaving cream was on the sides, silly string caked openings, and violent words of 'Zombie fag' 'cock sucker' and 'Drop dead fairy' were written in bold black. Will was used to the negative words but it didn't lessen the pain in his heart or the sniffling that came out. Five saw Will trying to keep it together, but his pain made Five's blood boil. Those fuckers will get it Five thought angrily.
"I can't believe this." Mike said as he was removing the silly string.
"People are just assholes to people who are different. They suck and whoever did is going to pay." Five said as he helped Mike remove the string and shaving cream.
"I don't know why they are picking up this shit again though. I mean it hadn't been this bad since middle school though. You and El handled our bullies since then so why is this keep happening." Dustin shared.
Will noticed two guys lingering by lockers and watching him. They were laughing and snickering at the sight and he tried not to stare long for Five to notice. Last time people messed with him, Five littered their faces with bruises and nearly broke someone's arm. He didn't want Five in detention…again because of him. Five was quick though and saw the two punks snickering at their handiwork on Will's locket. He went over to two of them. They might look bigger in muscle but Five could still take them if he needed to.
"Okay which idiot did this? I will break your nose either way, but if you're honest all other appendages will be attached." Five hissed, glaring at the punk ass football jocks.
Will went to Five's side and tried to get him away from them. He carefully took Five's wrist to hopefully calm him down and not beat the shit out of these perhaps hulking teens.
"Aidan please…don't make a scene." he whispered.
"Like hell they will get away with this. I get you don't a want fight but these guys need to grow up and if punching them will do it, I will gladly oblige"
The shorter one just chuckled and got in Five's face.
"Oh really? And what will you do about it, shrimp."
"First off dumbass I'm taller or are you blind. Second, I grew up learning all forms of combat, you really want to gamble?" Five said cracking his knuckles preparing to fight.
The shorter guy was about to throw a punch, but the taller good looking blonde stopped him. He took one look at Five and saw the rage and fight in them. He thought for a moment and cursed 'shit' under his breath. He knew this kid and he would make do on his threats.
"We don't want to deal with this asshole. My brother actually got the shit beaten out of him from this guy two years ago…he was in a cast for weeks and we need to be in shape for football. Look it was my idea and it was fun until you got here. No problems, k."
"Smart guy. I will be kind and spare your faces. Now get lost and don't ever let me see you near my friends' lockers. I won't be as nice next time if I see more of your 'art'." Five threatened.
The two jocks scrambled away and Will couldn't help but feel fuzzy at the gesture but yet was still a bit on edge from the whole thing.
"You didn't have to do that. I'm used to it…or was able to hide this a bit better." Will told him.
" What kind of best friend would I be if I just let it slide. You should not get used to this. Your a great person Will, those guys need to grow the hell up if they gonna lead some semblance of normal life" Five expressed in a low tone.
Will cracked a weak smile and stroked the back of his neck nervously. Sure, but Five was his protective rogue and wanted to defend him.
"Bit more than protective friend though." he whispered, knowing more of that action was personal, an act of chivalry no less.
Five's faced softened. Yea...he needed to protect his boyfriend even if they couldn't be out as such.
"Yea but we can't advertise it. Now let's go to class." Five whispered back with a light smirk.
On their way to class, a female classmate approached Five, Paula he thought. They shared a few classes together and she was a sweet girl with soft brown hair and blue eyes.
"H-Hey Aidan. H-How are you?" she questioned cutely.
"Hey Paula what's up?" Five asked in a friendly manner.
Paula blushed and bit her lip.
"Um…I was wondering if you were free this Friday? I need help with studying. We can get pizza and study at my p-place." she stammered.
Will knew Paula had to be lying of some kind or had another idea in mind. He knew those looks from girls, they wanted a date and Paula like most girls saw the charm in Five's look. Will darted his eyes at Five and he responded with a nod. His days of dating were over, or rather one off dates with girls. He was committed and a one person guy and Will was that for him.
"Sorry Paula, I'm not really available this Friday." Five said calmly.
Paula frowned but nodded and went into class.
"I feel a bit bad for her." Will whispered as they both walked into class.
"She will get over it. She is nice but she is also Brandy's friend. Even if I liked her, I would want to avoid that drama. "Five mentioned.
Class went on and during class, Paula wrote a loving and sweet letter to Five. She knew Five didn't like Brandy, but she wasn't like her. She saw him as a really nice catch and loved how smart yet different he was. Will noticed this and before he could stop Paula from giving Five the letter, she handed it to him.
The letter read:
'Hi Aidan.
I know you said Friday was busy, but how about Saturday? Maybe we can still study or if you'd rather have a bit more fun, we can go a party or perhaps just go apple picking. I'm not that picky. Check yes or no for your answer. Paula 3'
Five read the note and shook his head. He marked down no for an answer and wrote below:
" I'm not looking to date right now. I am sorry. You are a nice girl but I'm not really interested. Plus Brandy would make our lives hell if we went out. I'm sorry."
Five then passed the note back when teacher was not looking.
She frowned. She didn't fully get it; Five dated girls before and maybe thought she had a chance since Brandy was rejected. Yes Brandy was kind of a bitch but if they were friends, she would accept it. Paula wrote another note along the lines of just wanting to hang out but a jerk with scraggly brown hair took it from her and read it, chuckling. He gave a wolf whistle and used the note like a fan to maybe get a trace of Paula's sweet perfume in his nostrils.
"Hey Aidan, I'll take Paula if you won't. You're missing some fine ass or you're just blind. It's a yes for me Paula." Craig laughed.
Paula sunk in her seat since she didn't want that punk to read it. Five wasn't mad at her, but the guy who took her letter.
" Hey asshole, she's a girl not a piece of property for you to decide what to do! She deserves respect." Five snapped.
"Says the guy whose swapped spit with a ton of girls. Not very respectable I'll say." scraggly guy taunted.
He rolled his eyes at him since the correlation was weak between kisses and respect.
" Yea I dated girls, yet I still respect them more than assholes like you." Five corrected.
"You probably prefer a good asshole if you're starting to turn down pretty chicks." he joked
"At least my grades are going to get me a good future, yours is headed straight for flipping fast food or prison." Five hissed.
Before he could answer the teacher overheard their spat and was not impressed.
"Detention for both of you boys after school. I will not have my classroom devolve into a masculinity contest or a place of verbal lashing." he told them.
"He was being disrespectful to Paula and being an asshole! How am I the bad guy here!" Five complained.
"She or you could have brought it up after class, not act like her knight in shining armor now. Now sit down or I will have it be a week Mr. Quinn." he warned.
Five rolled his eyes and sat down. He flipped off Craig once the teacher's back was turned.
Craig ignored him and Will sighed a bit.
"You know this means you'll be late for your job right?" Will told him.
"I know, but you know how I feel about disrespect." Five whispered.
"True…it's nice you know and Paula might think so too." he told him.
When class ended Paula went to Five's desk and her eyes were avoiding his in discomfort.
"I-I'm sorry. I just wanted us to hang out and get to know each other. Didn't mean for you to get all mad and think I wanted Craig to piss you off."
Five nodded and knew she was being truthful.
"You're a nice girl Paula, but the asshole was right. I dated a lot of girls, and it didn't really go anywhere, so I decided to focus on my goals for now. I hope you do date someone who likes you. Don't ever ever go with Craig, he is an idiot and you can do better" Five said warmly.
"T-Thanks…again I'm sorry." Paula said and left the classroom in a hurry.
Max was a bit pissed as she was stacking old videos on the shelves and wondered where the hell Five was. The manager was on her ass about where he was despite Max covering and clocked him in. She was going to give him a new asshole for being almost an hour late to his shift and her frequent cover ups. Five came into the store in a light dash and saw Max was angry.
" I'm so sorry Max" was all he could say.
"Where the hell were you? I had to cover your ass since I know you need this job. It better not have been sweet talking to another girl. I swear that's getting on my nerves and not worth risking my job too.." Max seethed slightly.
Five sighed and shook his head.
"No, I got detention. A girl did ask me out but I turned her down nicely. Then some asshole was a pig to her and one thing led to another and the teacher gave us both detention."
Max rolled her eyes since that did sound like Five, albeit the chivalrous hero complex was bothersome.
"You think your old man would applaud you or be disappointed in your heroics?" Max off handedly said in an annoyed tone.
Five got quiet at that. He didn't want to think about his father. Adoptive or not he still lingered in his mind and wondered just how much things changed. He's gone from a hero to an ordinary guy pretty much. Five's interest in time traveling back was dead and was enjoying his friends and new family. Reggie would find him a disappointment for sure and for some reason, still stung Five to think about.
"Don't know, don't care." Five retorted flatly.
Max noticed the shift in tone and sighed. He acts tough, but his dad was still an issue.
"Sorry, I get it. Low blow and all that shit. Honestly I wished you got detention over one of us and not just another random girl. It's going to make you look hotter to girls and not sure how much more I can stomach people gossiping over you." Max told him.
"I got detention over you, remember. It was last year, you got on one of the cheerleaders' wrong side and they were harassing you, especially after I rejected one of them. Who do you think got them and boyfriend to back off, but at the cost? I'm perhaps going to be the only valedictorian Hawkins had with a detention record." Five sassed and he playfully lingered on a video shelf.
Max chuckled at that since she recalled Five giving the guy two black eyes and busted lip, horrifying the senior bitch. Still she noticed despite detention, Five was a bit off.
"Are you sure you're okay? I'm just making sure you're not like having regrets or resent us. I mean this whole town is a step down from your old life at times and I just…worry you know." Max shared.
Five cracked a light smile and sighed.
"You guys are my friends and I do like it here. Obviously I won't live in Hawkins all my life like some people in this town but I'm happy and I have a life not centered around a regime." Five said
"Well for the most part, I mean your life is pretty routine at the moment still." Max teases.
"Yea well structure is stability for me, but it's not like I am uptight about it. I'm ok with breaking it now and again."
Max smiled and motioned Five's appearance.
"Get your uniform on before the manager comes back and realizes you were never here." Max shares.
" Ok okay, be right back" Five said as he went to change into his uniform from the counter and resumed his usual routine of work, dinner at the Byers, homework, and reading with Will before he turned in for the night.
Five woke up but he realized something was wrong. The room he was in was unfamiliar, or rather a room he hadn't lived in for four years. He was in his room…back at the academy. He was a bit confused and wondered what the hell happened last night when he went to bed. His confusion turned to worry since if he was here; he clearly wasn't in Hawkins and away from his friends and newfound family. Most of all, Will wasn't here and he was a bit freaked out and upset.
"Will!" Five shouted and he got out of his bed.
He was looking through the rooms of the academy and he couldn't find Will in any of the rooms. Oddly enough, he didn't see his siblings in their rooms either and that was a bit odd. No one was coming out to check on Five, who was calling for Will as he searched the academy. He blipped to the dining room and no food was prepared and his siblings weren't at the table. Okay what the fuck was going on Five thought. He continued his frantic and heart wrenching search for Will since he couldn't have left Will behind, he just couldn't imagine that happening.
"Will!" Five called again, being a bit close to tears as he blipped into the living room.
"Lower your voice Number Five. We do not shout at the academy."
Five looked to his father, who was sitting in his armchair and reading the newspaper. He scoffed at his father…no he thought, he was never a father to them, not really. He gently placed the paper down to look over at Five. His face was emotionless; no smile, no frown, but his usual stern self. He hadn't aged at all in the four years and was still the old man Five remembered, right down to his stupid monocle. Reggie rose up from his chair and when he looked over Five, disdain was forming on his face.
"It seems you have decided to return after all. Where on earth did you go?" Reggie asked in his usual agitated tone.
Five scoffed since this had to be his doing. He was finally happy and now he was back here. No way he just abandoned Will.
"I didn't decide shit. I didn't want to come home, I was happier where I was. What did you do to bring me here!?" Five spat in anger.
" I did nothing of the sort. You have returned on your own Number Five. Now where have you been, and what on earth are you wearing?" Reggie asked.
Five looked down to see he had opted for a The Clash t-shirt and worn hand me down gray pj bottoms from Jonathan. It wasn't the academy pjs and thank god for that. Honestly, any father would just be glad their child is safe and not focused on criticizing outfits. Now Five knew he had made the right decision all along to remain with Will.
"You have eyes, old man. I'm not naked so it's fine thank you." Five bitterly.
Reggie smirked since despite his age, Five was still a stubborn and arrogant boy. Then resumed seriousness and scoffed angrily at him.
" You have been gone a long time, Number Five. Now I will repeat the question again. Where have you been and why have you been neglecting your potential." Reggie asked
Five scoffed and crossed his arms. He wasn't going to humor him fully or give him much ammo since that's what Reggie wanted, ammo and power to tear him down.
"Living, I've been living Reginald. As for potential, I don't have to live up to your standards anymore."
" So you abandoned your family and your duties, so you can live in some backwater town with ordinary people? I expected better of you Number Five. You are throwing away your promised futured and potential. And all for what, minimal wages, fun and games, your mind diminishing in a small town. A truly terrible fall from grace from one of my children."
Number Five shouldn't have been ashamed of his choices and yet Reginald just had a way to make everything seem unimportant or meaningless. He felt his heart constricting, lip trembling slightly, and his fist clench. He didn't want to leave his siblings but he had a way out and he didn't want to go back. Truth be told, he wished they found a way to see him in his new point of time but none of their powers could logically do that. Luther, Allison, Diego, Ben, Klaus, and Vanya were missed deeply by him but Reggie could kiss his ass and drop dead for all Five cared.
"I didn't mean to abandon them, it just happened because you didn't want to help you stubborn old man. Since you were right about me not being ready, I had to live where I ended up. So sorry you find everyone else beneath you." Five groaned.
"You have grown insolent, and you wasted your life and potential, wearing ridiculous clothes, living with ordinary people, and perhaps giving into your burgeoning teenage hormones with god knows who. Your siblings were busy trying to save the world and they are reaching their peaks. If you got stuck you should have worked out the way to get back. Why have you not figured something out sooner?" Reggie pressed
Five rolled his eyes and glanced at a photo over the fireplace. It was a photo of himself at 13 and he felt his stomach twinge. He had to miss him or was this a reminder to his siblings not to be like him. Five had changed so much but there was a bigger question and red flag here.
"Where are my siblings?" he asked.
Reggie simply scoffed.
"Well unlike you, they are off to save the world, well aside from Number 7. She has left the academy to do god knows what with her ordinary life. No matter as she matters little in my grand scheme of things. You have returned and yet I am so disappointed in you Number Five. You wasted years of your life being ordinary instead of embracing your potential. You could have mastered time and yet you're practically reduced to an ordinary boy."
Five rolled his eyes but he was wasting time.
"I'm not staying and I'm going back. You can't stop me. I'm 18 so I can make my own choices." Five said, stroking the back of his neck to think of how to make the time jump again back to Hawkins but to 1989.
"Number Five you shall do no such thing, you wasted enough time squandering your life away. Your siblings need you, the world needs you to. Will you abandon your responsibilities to your family for some people who you wouldn't have even met if it wasn't for your mistake?"
Five stomped his foot and glared at Reggie.
"It might have been a mistake at first, but I'm happy where I was. Yes I work in a video store and yes I am probably the smartest person in the town, but I am happy. Okay yes I wanted to go home, maybe I worried about letting you down but I realized…what would I go home to…this. I was right not to come back since you look down at anything that's not your decision! You robbed us of a normal childhood and of socialization outside this family. I escaped and was able to have fun and enjoy living. Yes I'm not a hero but maybe I never wanted to be, maybe we all didn't but you didn't care. Now I am going to not stay here since I have somewhere I belong that I need to be." Five told him.
"Ah yes with the fellow whose name you were shouting. He is a bad influence on you Number Five. He is the reason you are choosing to abandon the world and your family. Can't you see I want the best for you." Reggie asked
Five approached Reggie and he was at eye level with him. His gaze to his father was cold and he gritted his teeth.
"You only care for yourself. I know what I want and this isn't what I want."
"Number Five do not be insolent and stupid. You have purpose in life, don't throw it away because of some boy. That Will will probably forget about you. Lots of people in this world. He chose you because he just saw your powers and figured he can use you for something, he is ordinary, you are not meant for ordinary Number Five." Reggie said flatly.
Five wanted to punch Reggie and yet of all things…he felt more like crying than anything else. He stepped back away from Reggie and clenched his fists.
"You're always going to be an asshole. He's not ordinary, he's extraordinary to me. He was the first to look past the powers and just see…well me."
Reggie hung his nose up at Five. He'd grown soft, weak, and caring for the boy.
"Oh don't tell me you've fallen in love with that boy? Even more of a failure. At least if it was a young lady I might have understood but a young man, truly revolting. You gave up your life for a young boy who showed you attention, how childish."
"It's not childish, falling in love is not childish or weak. Having someone to love and care for is not weak. I'm glad I got out before I started to get incestuous tendencies for my own siblings. That would be disgusting and a disappointment." Five spat.
"Everything I did for you children was for your benefit so you can have great lives. You're my greatest disappointment. So much intelligence wasted on some crush that will inevitably flicker out once your hormones die down. Now I forbid you to leave and to cast this 'William' out of your mind. It's for the best of everyone." Reggie scolded.
"Screw this…I am out of here." Five hissed.
Five tried to use his powers but to his horror he couldn't use them. He tried and tried but nothing more than a whoosh came out.
"No, please no! I have to go back!" he cried.
"See, you wasted years and your powers dwindled that you can't even use them anymore to return. That's what happens when you ignore my warning Number Five." Reggie lectured.
Five felt himself cry and fall to his knees. Hot tears streamed his face since he loved Will and he promised to never leave him. He tried again and again but his powers were shot.
"No…I have to go back! I don't belong here! I belong with Will, he needs me!"
" The world and family needs you Number Five. Now pull yourself together and stop being a disgraceful brat. We have much to learn since you've been gone for so long." Reggie said, approaching him slowly.
"Stay the hell away from me!" he yelled.
Will awoke to hear screaming and crying from Five's room. He got up and saw Five tossing in his bed and shaking uncontrollably. The sight broke Will's heart as the nightmare Five was having was intense. He slowly and gently went into Five's room and got on his bed.
"Five, wake up. It's me…you're just having a bad dream." Will consoled, rubbing Five's back to calm him.
Five woke up with a jolt and looked around. He was in Jonathan's room, well his room now and Will was there with him. He breathed a sigh of relief since it was just a nightmare yet it felt very real. When he saw Will's look of concern, he knew it he had made a scene to worry him.
" Sorry Will. You can go back to bed." Five said.
Will didn't move and instead took Five's hand. He glanced at Five's eyes and they looked red; tear streak marks were on his face.
"Five, what happened." Will asked softly.
" Just a shit dream, it's nothing Will" Five expressed trying to avoid the topic.
Will used his other hand to cup Five's cheek and had Five look into his eyes. It was a shit dream enough for Five to be shaken up and scream in terror. Will knew Five was trying to be strong but he didn't have to have these walls up with him. They were honest with each other, that's one of the big reasons they loved each other.
"You're not going to rest easy until you talk it out. If you can't talk to me about it, who can you speak with?" Will soothed.
Five sighed since Will was only trying to be the caring boyfriend, but it felt nice he cared about his feelings.
" I had a dream that I was back at the academy, only I was there alone with my old man. He kept saying how I was a huge disappointment and how I was wasting my potential."
Will did wince a bit since that would be painful for Five to hear. Despite all the trauma and hell, Reginald was still his father and it would hurt to let him down to some degree. Still, there had to be more to the nightmare than that.
"More happened though, I rarely see this…broken look." Will asked.
Five sniffled and squeezed Will's hand gently.
"He said that you will forget me if I go back and you are only with me because you can get something from me. I tried to use my power to come back but I couldn't. I thought I broke my promise and was breaking your heart. "Five said
Will pulled Five into a hug and gave him a gentle little squeeze. Five being this down, upset, and insecure even was really rare. Will hoped they would never meet his father since even in a nightmare dream he sounded like a real horrid person.
"How do you ever think I could forget you? You're one of my dearest friends and the love of my life. I know you'd never want to hurt me and the fact you find me extraordinary really warms my heart. Never do I think you would break my heart and I know we love each other. It was just a very bad dream Five. You're here, with me, and away from that selfish old man. It's all over." he soothed, stroking Five's back and gently kissed the top of Five's head.
This made Five smile weakly but the dream did put things in perspective. How were his siblings? Were they still a team, did they break off into their own things…just how were they?
"Yea I know. It just… he makes you feel like shit if your goals don't align with his.. He said one of my sister's left home.. Not sure if that is a dream though or if it happened." Five admitted with a sigh.
"I mean…they are all 18 too by now right or should be if you've been here for four years and time is moving for them too. Maybe most of them did leave your dad if they were unhappy. I really don't think they would all stay after all the years of abuse your dad reeked on them."
"I truly hope they did break off and are happier like I am. It would be sad if they were still under my father's thumb and doing what he wants. We were heroes but that's more than us and perhaps not what we all wanted.… I'm not going back but I do miss them Will." Five murmured.
Will frowned a bit but he had to understand. He missed his brother while trapped in the Upside Down and that was for only a week. It's been four years and it was a lot for Five to be separated and estranged for them.
"I would understand if you wanted to go…I mean…"
Will couldn't finish the thought and instead pulled away and stroked his wrist nervously. Five smiled as he took Will's hand, kissing it.
" I miss my family but my life is here now, well not this particular town but with you, with Joyce and others. I love it, but maybe there is a way to let them know I am well and alive and doing ok." Five mused
Will smiled a bit and thought for a moment. His thoughts swirled and wondered how he could without time travel…and it dawned on him.
"Maybe…maybe you could write letters to them and you know, post mark them to be sent later. You know, like how Doc wrote a letter to Marty from 1885 and postmarked it to be sent in 1955? I think it could be done and maybe they will have peace of mind." Will suggested.
Five loved how Will knew his tastes in movies and how they were on the same wavelength. It just shows Five how much Will loved him and valued his interests.
"That's exactly what I was thinking. I hope I will see them again someday, but until then this will have to do. I'm glad I met you Will. None of this would have happened if I didn't have a friend to stick by me. Well we're more than that but you know what I mean." Five said softly
Will smiled and gave Five a quick little peck on his lips.
"I'm glad I got to meet you…and I'm glad I fell for you too." Will smiled.
Five smiled and pulled Will close.
" Let's go back to bed. Can you stay with me tonight? I think I will get some sleep if you are here." Five asked
Will blushed a deep red. Despite the fact it would be innocent, it still made Will feel a bit hot that Five wanted them to sleep in bed together. He could see in Five's eyes there was a longing and a very vulnerable glaze over them and that Five really needed him.
"O-Of course…Y-Yeah just um…give a bit of room." Will sheepishly agreed.
Five scooted over so Will could have enough room to lay next to him. Will got into bed with Five and got under the covers. It was a bit of a squeeze to fit two guys in the bed, but yet it was a very cozy and tender feeling. Will turned to face Five's face and he beamed slightly.
"This feels nice." Will mused lightly.
"Yes it does. You know unlike my dad, I think my siblings well some of them will like you, maybe even be jealous of you too." Five mused.
"Even for being so…well ordinary?" he questioned.
" I think the fact that you are ordinary is the best thing. All you have to do is lead a good life, no over the top expectations stupid training you don't care for, just find a good job after college and have a good life, most people can't see that and settle."
Will smiled and embraced Five tenderly.
"And I don't think it's wrong to want all that. If you want that, you should have the choice to have that and not be your own person, even if you want that life with me." Will told him.
" I do want that. I wanna go to college with other people than my siblings, maybe make stupid decisions like get drunk at a party or something like that, I like that freedom to decide for myself." Five said
Will chuckled at that and added,
"Guess I will need to get a car and license so I can drive you home when you choose to get drunk. Maybe someday, you'll remove the mark if you choose to."
Will gently rubbed Five's arm that had the tattoo of the academy on it and knew this was his decision alone to make.
"I just might, it's only a shitty reminder of life I was forced on until I left. But for tonight let's sleep." Five said yawning.
"Sleep tight Five. Love you." Will said, giving a tender kiss and held on to him in a secure loving embrace.
"Good Night Will. Sleep well" Five said and kissed him softly before drifting back into sleep.
