-Amu's POV

Rima: So we met Lulu in the last chapter and we didn't do anything about it!?

Nagi: Rima, we don't really know her yet or who she works for. Only the readers know because she gave that info in another person's POV

Rima: Mr. Valentine's!

Nagi: Exactly

Rima: When will we meet him?

Nagi: Rima I've said this a million times. Daydreamer asked me to not give out that information

Rima: *pouts*

Chapter 13 A Tour from Lulu

*Rima's POV*

"What!"

"That's what I said Yaya! There was an egg with a question mark on it. I had no idea what to do or how it happened. The girl it belonged to seemed really happy," Amu said. She plopped on my couch. Amu said there was urgent news and we all decided to go to my house.

"It seems that the ? eggs are the complete opposite of X eggs. We need to look into this more," Tadase said.

"This drama doesn't need to start before the big tour in America," Utau said.

"I thinks it's safe to say that Easter is up to something new," Kukai said.

"There is no way they can. The director is still on vacation with Hikaru," Utau pointed out.

"Then who is it?" Aarin asked.

"No clue," Amu said.

"I have an idea," Kairi spoke up. Everyone stopped talking.

"What if it's a whole new enemy? My sister, her boyfriend, and I also used to be ex-workers there. I have kept tabs on them the best I could. Hoshina-san is correct that it can't possibly be them again," he informed.

"It's not me, Aarin, or Nami this time too. Nami doesn't live in this city and the two of us have been so busy that we wouldn't have the time," Rei said.

"We know you guys weren't evil from the start, just bribed," I said.

"We need to get to the bottom of this," Nagi said.

"Get to the bottom of what?" All of us jumped at a new voice. Nadeshiko stood there waiting for an answer.

"Nade-chi!" Yaya yelled and glomped her.

"Hello Yaya-chan," Nade greeted her.

"Yaya never gets to see you," Yaya said.

"I agree but I'm here to tell Nagihiko some good news," Nadeshiko said.

"Good news?" Nagi asked.

"Yes, mother thinks it's alright to go back home. Also she is going to take all of us on a tour of another dancing company," she said.

"Are they traditional too?" Nami asked.

"They do traditional but they do all kind of other dances too. The company is Valentine Studios," Nadeshiko said.

"When are we going?" I asked.

"Right now!" Nadeshiko said.

"I apologize for this tour being last moment," Mrs. Fujisaki said.

"It's alright Mrs. Fujisaki," I assured her. Everyone was a little shocked that it was short notice but I wasn't going to tell her that. I haven't seen her in a while. It was weird seeing her cheery after the last time I saw her. She seemed sad and broken.

"I will make sure you don't leave."

Just the memory of it gave me chills.

"You ok Rima?" Nagi asked.

"Yeah, I just got chills," I said. He held my hand as we walked into the building. It was huge. It was a big business that reminded me of Easter.

"I can't help but think that I've heard this company before," Nagi said.

"Now that you say that, I think I've heard of them too," I said.

"They were at the festival," Nadeshiko pointed out. That's right!

Nagi and I sat down and watched the performance.

"Are they from your mom's dance school?" I asked.

"None of them look familiar. Maybe there is another traditional dancing school," he said.

"Valentine," Temari said.

"What?" Kusukusu asked.

"That's what the sign says. Valentine dance studio," Temari said.

"Right," Nagi said.

"We saw them there too," I said.

"I'm really excited! I haven't been able to dance much since I got back," Nadeshiko said.

"It seems you're really passionate about dance," Amu said.

"Of course I am. I'm a Fujisaki. We're all passionate about dance. I hope to have another friend that I can talk about traditional dance with," she said. She did have a point. None of us girls knew too much about traditional dance. Yaya dances but she does ballet which is completely different. She wouldn't be able to be calm and graceful like a traditional dancer. Utau might dance a little bit but she's more into singing than dancing. Nadeshiko seems to get along with us but we're her brother's friends. I didn't even think about how she would feel about being in our group. I just assumed that she was already part of the group because the Nadeshiko we all know is really Nagi dressed up as a girl.

"Dancing is fun," Yaya cheered. Nadeshiko smiled at her.

"Hello Mrs. Fujisaki, we were expecting you," a man in a lab coat said.

"Hello," Mrs. Fujisaki said as she shook the man's hand.

"I'm Thomas, the vice-president of Valentine Studios," the man introduced himself.

"These are my children, Nadeshiko and Nagihiko. These are their friends," Mrs. Fujisaki introduced us. I guess technically we're only Nagi's friends. Nade has only been in Japan for a short time. It must be hard for her to make friends at school when people already know her as someone else.

"Welcome, it's nice to meet another traditional dance teacher who is very kind. You wouldn't believe how many we've met that were so cruel," Thomas said.

"I understand, I've traveled the world and there are many teachers who are rude," Mrs. Fujisaki said.

"I'll introduce you to our president while I have one of our higher up students give the children a tour," the man said.

"Of course." Thomas went to the intercom.

"May Lulu please come to the lobby." He returned over to us.

"She should be here soon. I believe she just got done practicing a few minutes ago,"

"What kind of dance does Lulu do?" Nadeshiko asked.

"She has done ballet, tap, and jazz her whole life but she came here from France to learn Japanese traditional dance. She knows other dances too but you would have to ask her," Thomas said.

"Why don't you ask me?" We all looked over at the new voice. It was the girl from yesterday but instead of normal outdoor clothes, she's wearing a light blue kimono.

"We ran into you yesterday," I said before I could think.

"Really, I don't remember," the girl I assume is Lulu said as she brushed her hair behind her ear.

"Yes, I apologize for that. I wasn't watching where I was going," Nagi said.

"Oh, now I rememeber you two," she said. I got a vibe from her which said 'whatever' or 'I am not interested'

"Hello, I'm Nadeshiko Fujisaki. I'm a dancer too," Nade introduced herself. Lulu looked at her and smiled.

"Glad to meet another dancer," she said. The two girls shook hands.

"Lulu, would you give these children a tour?" Thomas asked.

"I have a busy schedule but I guess I can for an hour," Lulu said. I don't like this girl. She seems like a snob to me.

"Great! Mrs. Fujisaki, if you would follow me."

"Of course." They left leaving us with Lulu.

"Alright, I have a lot to show you and not a lot of time. I have to get back to my teacher soon," Lulu said. She started walking and we followed her.

"I haven't been here long but I can tell you that there are many dances to learn here at Valentine Studios. We have ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, traditional Japanese, ballroom, jive, breakdancing, and a lot more.

"Wow!" Nadeshiko said cheerfully. I looked around at the rest of my friends. They looked like they were getting the same vibes from her as I was, snobby and uncaring. Nade seemed to be the only one Lulu liked.

"Nadeshiko was it? What kind of dance do you do?" Lulu asked as we all entered an elevator.

"I've done a couple but my main one is traditional Japanese."

"Maybe you could give me a few pointers. I'm not from this country so I'm having a hard time getting into the dance and culture," Lulu said.

"That would be great!" Nadeshiko said. They smiled at each other. The elevator doors opened and we all stepped out.

"This floor is where we have all of our dance classes," Lulu said as she guided us through the halls. Nadeshiko followed her excited to see everything but the rest of us stood back a bit while Lulu showed us different rooms. Some had classes going on and some didn't. Nagi, who was also a dancer, didn't seem to be enjoying it either. Of course none of dared to say anything. Nadeshiko seemed too excited and none of us wanted to bring her down.

*3rd Person POV*

"Sir, this is Mrs. Fujisaki," Thomas introduced to his boss. Mr. Valentine stood up and shook her hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Fujisaki. As you know, I am Mr. Valentine, president of this company."

"The pleasure is mine," she said.

"Thomas, you may leave now."

"Yes sir," he said then left.

"I've heard great things about your studio," he said.

"I've heard the same about your's." Mrs. Fujisaki looked at a picture on his desk.

"Is this your family?" she asked.

"Yes, my wife and step-daughter," he said.

"They look lovely," she said.

"Do you have children Mrs. Fujisaki?"

"I have twins, one boy and one girl," she said.

"They must be lovely if they take after you," he said.

"We can stop the flattery Mr. Valentine. You knew very well that I have two children," Mrs. Fujisaki said. Her voice went down a tone. He could tell she was being serious.

"Of course. I've heard great things about the Fujisaki studio so I did a little bit of research."

"I know what you are doing!" Mrs. Fujisaki's tone raised a bit.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"You may be cunning Mr. Valentine but I am not a fool. You've tried to dig around and find out what the Fujisaki secret is," Mrs. Fujisaki managed to say calmly. Mr. Valentine smirked at her.

"I wondered how long it would take you to notice something was wrong. I admit that it's impressive that you found out this quickly," he said.

"Don't underestimate me."

"Please! Your son runs off with his friends and fights a big company last year and none of you parents even know about it!"

"What are you-"

"Ask your son about Easter. Ask your son about shugo chara."

"You keep him out of this! He has nothing to do with this!"

"You love your son yet you don't know anything about him."

"That's not true. I know Nagihiko more than anyone."

"Then why do you make him dance? Why do you make him dress like a girl?"

"I don't! That's Nadeshiko. They look very similar. My son does male traditional dancing," she said.

"Of course he does," he said as he pulled a folder out of his desk. He opened it to show pictures of Nagi as himself and him dressed as a girl. There are a few pictures of him with all his friends too.

"Your daughter got back from Europe recently but she hasn't been in Japan since she moved away with your husband. I may not know the secret yet but I am closing in Mrs. Fujisaki. When I do then I will expose it and I will be the biggest dance studio here," he said.

"You would be willing to seperate a family, tear a mother away from her children, to get ahead?"

"I hate children so your sob story doesn't work on me," he said.

"You have a child!"

"And she's a brat who runs off every chance she gets!"

"I will protect my family Mr. Valentine. My son and daughter will be with me no matter what. You never mess with a mother and her children."

"I see that we are at a problem then. I think it is best if you left."

"I agree," she said then walked out.

*Nagi's POV*

"And that's the tour. You guys can wait here in the lobby for Mrs. Fujisaki to come back. Nade-chan I will definitely call you later about my technique. I now have to go back to practice," Lulu said. She walked back to the elevator and that was the last we saw of her.

"She seemed really nice," Nade said.

"Yeah, glad you had fun," I said. I could tell everyone was annoyed with Lulu. I'm glad no one said anything.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to look at the poster for a second," Nade said then she walked over.

"Guys!" Ran yelled.

"What is it?" Amu asked.

"Lulu has a chara!" Miki yelled.

"Really?" Kukai asked.

"I didn't see it," Ikuto said.

"We didn't either but we could sense it," Dia said.

"Me too!"

"Me too!"

"Me three!"

"That explains why Rhythm had a funny feeling when we bumped into her yesterday," I said.

"I remember that now," Rima said.

"Me too," Kusukusu said.

"As long as we don't have to deal with her then we're fine," Utau said. We all knew that she'd rather be getting ready for her big tour that was coming up soon.

"I'm back," Nadeshiko said.

"Did you see anything good?" Rima asked.

"Sort of," she said.

"There you are children. We better head home now," mother said. I could tell that she was upset about something but she was hiding it. I'm pretty sure only I could tell that something was wrong.

"Nadeshiko, Nagihiko, we need to get your things from the Mashiro's. We wouldn't want to over stay our welcome," she said.

"Of course mother," Nade said.

"I was a little bummed that I wouldn't be in the same house as Rima but I miss my bed at home. The couch isn't uncomfortable but there is just something safe and secure about your our bed that's in your own room.

"Is that everything?" Mrs. Fujisaki asked.

"Yes mother," I said.

"It's odd but I've gotten used to the twins being here," Mrs. Mashiro said.

"It was fun while it lasted," Rima said. I smiled at her. She smiled at me then she came up to me and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"I'm gonna miss you," she said.

"It's not like we'll never see each other again. I only live a few house away," I said. She laughed and looked up at me. I smiled again at her. I kissed her without even thinking. Her parents, my mother, my sister, and her cousin were in the room with us. I pulled away after I realized it. Her cheeks were a little pink. We had never kissed in front of her parents before.

"Don't be strangers," Mrs. Mashiro said.

"I think Nagi will still come over often," Rei teased. Nadeshiko laughed at her joke.

"Rei!" I whined.

"Am I wrong?" she asked.

"No," I said. Rei smiled at me.

"I walk with you girls every day so even if I don't visit I still see you," Nagi said.

"True," I said.

*3rd Person POV*

"Sir, I don't think it was wise to upset Mrs. Fujisaki. Now she'll be watching us closely. She may bring a lawsuit into this," Thomas said.

"I haven't done anything illegal. Do you know my whole point of this visit was?" Mr. Valentine asked.

"No sir."

"To put doubt in her son's perfect image. Of course the parents don't know about the charas so they don't know about Easter. The kids probably lied to them and said they were somewhere else. She probably won't act right away thinking I was lying to get her angry but after a little time she'll think about it. She'll get skeptical of her son's whereabouts," he said.

"But they don't hunt X eggs anymore," Thomas pointed out.

"No but they will begin to fight ? eggs."

"? eggs sir?" Thomas asked.

"Of course. That why we have Lulu. She makes special jewelry that causes their shugo chara egg to become a ? egg. It causes a child to embrace their dream making them go overboard. After that they transform making it difficult for Hinamori Amu so her friends will help too. When that happens then the kids will be away more. That's when the doubt will settle in the most. After there is conflict in the family, it will be easier to discover that secret they hold so precious," Mr. Valentine said.

"What do we do now sir?"

"We hit everyone! I want the current and former guardians hit by our machine! The two current guardians and the two pop stars!"

"Sir, this could be dangerous. We've only done two at a time sir," Thomas said.

"I don't care! I want them all hit!"

*Yaya's POV*

"Nighty night mama," Yaya said.

"Good night Yaya. Have sweet dreams," mama said. She kissed my forehead and tucked me in. She turned on my night-light, turned off the lights, and left leaving my door open just a little bit so there was a crack of light from the hallway. Yaya closed her eyes and began to sleep. Yaya's eyes snap open.

"Too hot," Yaya said. Yaya's phone rang. Yaya quickly answered it.

"Hello," Yaya whispered.

"Yaya! Please tell me you're not hot," Kairi-kun said.

"Yes, Yaya's feeling really warm. Do you think the hotness got to Yaya too?" Yaya asked.

"It must have. I'm freezing, so it seemed to hit us next," Kairi-kun said.

"We need to tell everyone," Yaya said.

"Of course but I have a feeling I may know who is doing this or at least helping," Kairi-kun said.

"Who?"

"Think about it Yaya. Who are the two people in our group that used to be against us and aren't hot or cold?" Yaya thought about it.

"Rei and Aarin-kun!"

"Exactly! Don't say anything Yaya. We don't want them to know we are on to them and I haven't told anyone else this," Kairi-kun said.

"Kairi-kun? Why did you tell me this? I am the last person to tell a secret to but you called me first," I said.

"Yaya, you spoke in first person," he said.

"I guess I did."

"Anyway, I told you first because..."

"Kairi-kun? You still there?"

"I told you first because...because I like you." I felt my cheeks heat up and my could feel my heart beat speed up.

"Kairi-kun."

"I liked you for a while now."

"I thought Kairi-kun like Amu-chi," I said painfully.

"I admit I used to but when I came back and I worked every day with you then I started to notice how much you grew up even though you still acted like a baby and talked in third person," he said.

"Yaya- I mean I think I'm done with the third person phase," I said.

"Yaya, I wasn't asking you to change," he said.

"I know Kairi-kun," I said.

"Please just call me Kairi."

"Alright Kairi, I think you're right. I am thirteen and I'll be fourteen in May. I need to grow up...but just a little bit. My dream is still to be taken care of like a baby," I said.

"Well forgive me if I use this slang wrong but I'll take care of you baby."
