I thought I saw Lulu but she's in France right now. She went home for the summer. I saw that blue dress Lulu loves and her odd hairstyle. At least I thought I did. I thought I saw another girl but I guess I was wrong.

Chapter 22 Pity and Love

*Nagi POV*

I woke up a bit confused. This isn't my room. Something moved in my bed. I looked and I saw a mountain of yellow. I was in bed with Rima. My arm was wrapped around her waist. I couldn't help but smile. I pulled her closer to me. She began to stir.

"Nagi?"

"I'm right here," I said. She turned to face me. Her eyes were still closed.

"What time is it?" I looked past her to the clock. It's almost eight in the morning," I said. She snuggled up to me.

"I don't want to get up," she said.

"We have to," I said.

"Or we could stay in bed," she said.

"You know we can't do that." She finally opened her eyes.

"Why not?" she asked. She leaned in closer.

"We have our day planned and there is a concert tonight."

"So."

"So we have to-" She put her lips on mine. Her hand on my cheek. My arm around her waist pulled her closer. I don't know how long we kissed but we had to pull away to breathe. She smiled at me as she took a breath. I kissed her again. A knock on the door interrupted us.

"I hope you're decent. We're going to the lobby for breakfast," Ikuto said. Her and I laughed.

"We'll be out in a minute," I said.

"Please keep the noise to a minimum kids," Ikuto said before walking away. I got up and began to look for clothes to change into. I looked over at Rima to see her hair a mess. It looked like she tossed and turned all night.

"You alright Rima?"

"Yeah, just sleepy," she said as she rubbed her eyes. I had to admit that she looked pretty adorable. Of course if I told her that she'd pout.

"Did you have a nightmare Rima?" I asked.

"I think so but I can't remember what it was about," she said.

"It must not be that important then," I said.

"Get out. I have to change," she said as she dragged herself out of bed.

"Yes princess," I said. She glared at me. I knew she wasn't really mad at me. She was just moody. I walked out of the room so she could change.

"Did she kick you out?" I was surprised by a voice. I turned around to see Rei.

"Yeah. She's really cranky in the morning," I said.

"She was never a morning person," Rei said.

"You seem bright and cheery this morning," I said.

"I've been awake for the last two hours. I was so excited that I couldn't get any sleep," she admitted.

"Try not to crash and burn later. If you excuse me, I have to get dressed," I said as I made my way to the bathroom.

*Time Skip*

"Breakfast didn't turn out too bad. At least everyone ate decent food," Amu said. We were all in the limo on the way to the location of the concert will be.

"You'll get used to it and then miss all the greasy food. At least that's what happened to me," Aarin said.

"I don't think I'll miss the fact that if I put a napkin on the food, it gets completely covered in gross stuff," Rima said.

"That's grease. America loves it so much that they used to put it in their hair," Aarin said.

"That's unsanitary," Nade said.

"And gross," Yaya said.

"It was back in the 60's. Those people were called greasers. They didn't exactly use the grease on the food but it was called hair grease. They actually made a very classic movie called Grease," Aarin pointed out.

"Can we please stop. My stomach hurts just talking about it," Rima said.

"Sorry," Aarin said.

"So what now?" Tadase asked.

"We are on our way to see the opening band. Utau, Aarin, and Rei will practice everything and talk everything over. The rest of you will have free time to roam. Use the buddy system," Sanjo said.

"Will do." Ikuto said.

"Boys, please promise me that none of the girls will be pregnant by the end of this trip," Sanjo said. Each guy had a different reaction. Kairi's mouth hung open, Tadase and I blushed, Kukai smirked finding it a joke, Aarin laughed, and Ikuto replied with a "no promises" which made Amu blush.

"I don't think you have to worry about it Sanjo-san. I don't even know how girls get pregnant so I don't think it should be a problem," Yaya said.

"Kairi, care to explain?" Ikuto teased. Kairi's face turned red.

"I'd r-rather not," he replied.

"Why not Kairi? I want to know? I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't know," Yaya said. All of us busted up laughing except for Yaya and Kairi.

"You'll know when you're older," he said trying to escape.

"But I'm a year older than you," Yaya pointed out.

"We're here," Sanjo said saving her little brother from further embarrassment. I could tell she was enjoying the teasing though. All of us stepped out of the limo and into the auditorium.

"This place is huge!" Amu said.

"America is all about the motto 'bigger is better' ," Aarin said.

"Yo!"

"Who said that?" Rima asked."

"I did good lookin'. You must be one of the singers performing after me tonight." A guy with short black hair and multiple piercings revealed himself from the back. He is speaking English but I could understand everything this guy was saying. I already didn't like him since he was flirting with Rima.

"No. My cousin is signing tonight."

"Singing Rima, but you were very close," Rei said.

"Rima's you name I think? Nice name." the guys said.

"By the way everyone, Americans don't use honorifics so they may seem rude to you but it's not to them," Aarin pointed out.

"Why don't you and I hang out later," the guys said as he took Rima's hand.

"No! I got a boyfriend." Rima said trying to speak English.

"She has a boyfriend," Aarin corrected her," and he is pretty tough so I would lay off if I were you." I really wanted to thank Aarin then and there. Rima pulled her hand away and grabbed mine.

"That's your boyfriend?" The guy began to laugh. I was starting to get super pissed.

"I thought he was a girl. I thought the two purple haired ones were twin girls and he's crippled."

"I can assure you I am a guy. I don't care what you say about me. I was recently hit by a car and lived so I can handle the crap you throw at me," I finely spoke up.

"Oh so she's dating you because she owes you. I bet that pity sex is great," the guys said. I was red with rage. How dare he say that! I tried to charge after his but Kukai and Ikuto are stronger than me.

"What did he say?" Rima asked.

"We'll tell you later," Utau said.

"Look dude, if you want to be in this tour then you better watch you mouth!" Aarin said.

"Leo!" We all looked around to see a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Hey Blue. I'm just getting to know the others," Leo said. She glared at them and then looked at us. She bowed her head.

"I'm sorry for my friend's behavior. He just hasn't had enough attention today and he wanted to act out," Blue said in perfect Japanese.

"Great someone that doesn't speak English!" Amu cheered.

"Talking bad about me Blue or did you wanna sound fancy and smart?" Leo asked.

"I actually did some homework and began learning Japanese as soon as I found out about the tour. One of us has to have some knowledge and be able to communicate with our guests," she said.

"Let's start over. Hi, I'm Rei, this is Aarin and Utau. It's a pleasure to perform with you."

"Hello, I'm Blue-chan and this is Leo-kun. We are really thankful that you gave us a shot," Blue said.

"Let's get to work," Utau said. The people who weren't performing decided to walk around.

*Rima's POV*

"Nagi?" I said.

"Yes Rima?"

"What did that Leo guy say that made you so angry?" I whispered. Nagi sighed and sat down at the nearest bench. Everybody stopped to see what was wrong.

"I just need to rest a bit. My leg is hurting a bit. You go ahead. I have Rima to keep me company," Nagi lied. The rest believed his clever lie but Rima knew better. They both waited till everyone was out of sight.

"Nagi, are you alright? What did he say?"

"I told him that I was hit by a car so I could take any crap he talked about me. He then said that he could see why you dated me. He asked if...-"

"What did he ask?"

"He asked if the pity sex was great." He was embarrassed and he looked at his feet.

"Nagi, you know we've never done... that," I said. I could feel my cheeks heating up just talking about it.

"I know but it made me think back to the day I got out of surgery. You wanted to break up. It made me mad because it got me thinking that you were still dating me out of pity," he said. I was beyond shocked. How could he think that? I love him. He's the only boy I've loved besides my family. How dare he. I was filled with anger.

"How could you doubt me like that?" I asked. My tone was more harsh than I intended. He looked at me surprised.

"I love you Nagi. You're my first love. I was with you when my world was crumbling around me, I was there when you were hurt. I made one mistake and that's all you can remember. Now you doubt me," I said.

"Rima I-"

"I'm not talking to you right now." I said. I turned away from him. I felt my eyes start to burn. Don't cry Rima.

"Rima?" I got up as I still faced away from him.

"Rima I'm sorry I was being stupid," he said. I looked at him giving him a stern look. I knew he saw the tears that were burning my eyes but haven't fallen yet.

"Rima." His tone was a lot softer. I could feel the guilt in his voice. I take his hand and pull him up. Him and I walked down the sidewalk in a bitter silence. He was too guilty and I was to hurt to say anything. Both of us knew that we shouldn't act like this but we didn't know what to do.

*Time Skip*

"About time you two got here," Rei said.

"Sorry, we lost track of time," I said. She looked at me confused. It had been hours since the fight if that's what we call it. My eyes aren't red and they don't sting. I didn't look like I was hurt. At least everything except my eyes. I know Rei saw right through me and noticed my sad eyes. She gave me a look meaning that her and I would talk later. We listened to Leo and Blue. They were not bad. Blue played guitar and was a back singer while Leo

There songs were more inappropriate than Rei, Aarin, and Utau's songs but they looked about Utau's age. They might be a year older. It was difficult to tell. To be honest everyone looke similar here but I bet they think all Japanese people look the same. Rei gave me hand a squeeze and then walked up on stage since it was her turn. She sang a few of her songs. Then she began to play a new song.

I helped her make that song. Though she was asking me about Nagi. I was sad all over again as I thought of our current situation. I looked at Nagi. He was already looking at me. He became embarrassed and looked away. I shouldn't be acting like this. I know it's true. It's stupid but what he said really hurt me.

*Time Skip*

"Alright spill. I distracted Yaya by getting her to ask Kairi how pregnancy works," Rei said as she sat on her bed.

"Nagi and I had a fight," I said.

"Oh hun. Are you alright? What did he do?" she asked.

"I asked him what that Leo guy said. He told me that Leo said that I pitied him because he saved me. He said that I owe Nagi so Nagi thought that's exactly what I did. That's not true at all. The day he got out of surgery I tried to break up with him because I was afraid to hurt him but he convinced me not to. He thinks I pity him but really I love him." I felt my tears begin to fall down my face as a spill my guts out to her. She held me close to her.

"I love him so much that it hurts to fight like this. We haven't spoken a word. I know that it's mainly my fault for yelling at him but I just want it to stop," I said.

"Listen, you are going to march out of this room, go to your room and you are going to go in there and kiss that boy. You are going to apologize and then he will apologize and then you will be happy again," she said.

"I don't know if it's that easy," I said.

"Rima, you can't give up on something little like this. Relationships aren't important. It's going to be difficult sometimes but a strong relationship will stand through the tough times," Rei said.

"You're right," I said. My tears stopped. Rei wiped the last of the tears that were still on my face.

"Go to your man Rima." I did just that. I got up and ran to my room. I passed everyone quickly and threw the door open.

"Rima?!" Nagi was shocked from my entrance. I walked up to him and kissed him. His eyes went wide. It took him a few moments to accept what was happening but I felt his arms wrap around my waist.

"Rima? I'm-" I kissed him again before he could say anything.

"I'm sorry," I said.

"No, I'm sorry. I should never have thought that. I know that you really love me and I love you," he said. I kissed him.

"I love you too." Him and I kept kissing. Nothing could stop us right now.

"Could you two at least close the door if you're going to do that," Ikuto said. Nagi and I didn't stop.

"That's gross," he said as he closed the door. I didn't care. RIght now, I was glad Nagi and I were back to normal.
