Recap

I didn't really know how to make our make out session special. We were too young to go any further than we have. I felt something lick my lower lip. He wanted entrance. I might not be able to make it special but I'll follow his lead. I let him in. We haven't kissed for this long before.
-Rima's POV

I completely forgot that I was doing this as a birthday present. I was enjoying it too. He pulled away and was panting since we needed air. -Rima's POV

"A spirit can always be broken. It's not hard to put doubt in someone's mind." -Lulu

"Don't worry, I'm not hurting her (Kaya) yet. Just think this as insurance. If you (Nami) speak one word of this plan I worked hard on then Kaya will be forced in her egg and crushed. You can purify an X egg but you can't get a chara back after it's been destroyed." -Lulu

"It's Independence day. The day that Americans celebrate freedom. If that's true then why am I a prisoner?" -Nami

Chapter 29 Rima Doesn't Wear Bras

*Rima's POV*

"It's hard to believe that we only have a week left in America. We only have two performances left," Rei said.

"Where's the next place?" Amu asked.

"My hometown. Miami, Florida," Aarin said.

"We'll get to see your family!" Nade said.

"Yeah, I haven't seen my family in a while. Not since last summer."

"Are they fun?" Yaya asked.

"You've all met my little brother, Tommy. My parents are pretty laid back. My uncle likes to tease me all the time but he's cool," he said.

"I have a question!" Yaya announced as she shot her hand up.

"Shoot."

"Why does your Aunt live in Japan if your family lives in America?" Yaya asked.

"My aunt fell in love with Japan after she started to get into anime. My mom and uncle used to give her a hard time about it when they were kids," he answered.

"We'll be there soon. Do you want to call them to let them know?" Sanjo asked.

"Sure," he said. He went into the bathroom to have some privacy.

"I like America and everything but I'm glad we'll be back home soon," Amu said.

"I have to agree with you," I said. The only bad thing is that Rei will go home. I guess it's not a bad thing but I'll miss her. I looked over at her.

"What's wrong Rei?" I asked.

"Nothing...actually Nami hasn't picked up her phone since we've been on tour. What if she's behind these ? eggs? What if she wasn't really my friend this entire time. I know that we are friends now, or at least I think we are, but I remember when she manipulated me, tried to steal Aarin from me, and tried to hurt all of you. That will never leave my memory, but I thought she changed. Maybe people don't really change," she said.

"That's crap!" Utau yelled. Everyone was shocked by the sudden outburst.

"I'm a good example that people change. Ikuto is a good example that people change. Kairi, Nikaidou, and Sanjo are good examples that people change. Hell even you and Aarin are good examples that people change. Everyone I listed have been the enemy of the guardians at one time or another but look at us now. Most of us are in this bus together. We purify eggs instead of break them now." Everyone was shocked by her speech.

"You're right Utau," Rei said.

"Don't forget it," Utau joked as she gave a small smile.

"I'm sure Nami is fine," Kukai said.

*Nami's POV*

"Why those two? They aren't even part of the guardians," I asked.

"Wow was that a normal question? You didn't yell this time. I think you're starting to be a good little girl," Lulu teased. I didn't give a remark back. It was about to come out of my mouth but I bit my lip to stop myself.

"It seems you have something to say about that," Lulu pointed out.

"Not at all," I said.

"I love this! I should've taken Kaya forever ago. Now I don't have to deal with your stupid remarks and goody-two-shoes attitude," Lulu said. I will get Kaya back even if that means I have to be nice to Lulu.

*Time Skip*

*Rima's POV*

"Aarin!" Tommy ran out of the house and hugged his older brother.

"Hey little guy," Aarin said as he hugged his brother back. Tommy coughed a little but seemed better the last time I saw him. I know he has a weak immune system but he seems to be doing fine now.

"Long time no see," a woman who had light brown hair and blue eyes said as she and a blonde hair man walked up to Aarin and hugged him and Tommy. The two adults then noticed us.

"Come on in everyone," the man said as he guided us to their house. It looked like a beach house. There was surfer memorabilia all over the walls.

"Wow! You like surfing?!" Kukai asked.

"Um yes. Husband is surfer," Aarin's mom said in poor Japanese.

"My mom isn't very good at Japanese. My dad is a professional surfer. With the ocean as our backyard it's pretty much a given," Aarin explained.

"Sorry," his mom said.

"It's alright. Thank you for inviting us into your home," Sango said.

"Kids can swim. I like to talk to Aarin and Rei if that's ok." Aarin's mom said.

"She means that everyone can have fun and swim in the backyard. There are plenty of surfboards, umbrellas, towels, snorkels, and other stuff you can use in the shack," Aarin translated.

"What does she want to talk to us about?" Rei asked.

"Probably to get to know you since you're Aarin's girlfriend," I said.

"Why are we still standing here? There's an ocean waiting for us!" Yaya said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs.

"Yaya! Not so fast!" I yelled.

"No time to wait!" Yaya cheered. She dragged me upstairs but she didn't know where she's going.

"Wow they have a big bathroom!" Yaya awed.

"Yaya, I left my suitcase downstrairs. How am I supposed to change without my swimsuit?" I asked.

"Sorry Rima-tan. I was excited and you were the closest."

"We got your luggage," Amu said as her and the other girls, except Rei and Sanjo, caught up to us.

"Thanks Amu."

"We should all just get changed in here," Nade said. All of us began to strip down.

"Wow Utau. That's a really cute bra," Yaya said.

"Thanks. I really like Nade's."

"Thank you. I thought Amu's looked cute." Nade said.

"What about you Yaya?" Amu asked.

"Yaya is still a bit too young for a bra," she said.

"Really? I wore a bra when I was in your grade," Nade said.

"Same here," Amu said. I began to get really self conscious. I was so flat that I didn't have to wear one. I know Rei wears one but she's a year older and she's more mature than me so I never worried about it. I didn't realize all my friends wore one too.

"I remember that my mother tried to convince Nagi to wear one when he pretended to be me. She made him wear one once. He was an A-cup," Nade teased. All the other girls laughed. I felt even more embarrassed. Even my boyfriend wore more bras than me.

"What about you Rima-tan?" Oh no! I don't want them to know.

"What do you mean?" I asked. I still had my shirt. Please don't ask me about bras.

"What does your bra look like?" she asked.

"It um...it's..."

"Rima-tan don't be embarrassed. Everyone else talked about theirs."

"It's not that." I said.

"Yaya I think Rima doesn't wear bras yet," Nade said. I felt my face heat up.

"It's alright Rima. You're just a late bloomer," Amu said.

"That's what everyone says. Even Nagi has more experience with bras than me," I said. All the girls laughed.

"At least you know he won't have a problem getting one off you in the future," Utau teased. My blush grew.

"You really are related to Ikuto. Is pervertedness in your genes?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it Rima. Nagi loves you for who you are," Nade said.

"Can we just go?" I said. I think I suffered enough for one day. Luckily, the girls dropped the subject. We finished changing and headed to the backyard. The boys had already changed into their swim trunks and were messing with stuff from the Hill's shack. The ocean looked beautiful. It was very sunny and hot. I'm pretty sure my feet would burn if I didn't have flip-flops on right now. Ikuto and Tadase were setting up umbrellas while Nagi and Kukai were setting up a volleyball net. Kairi was in one of the chairs reading a book. Honestly, does that boy do anything else for fun.

"Let's go swimming!" Yaya cheered announcing the girls have arrived. She grabbed Nade this time and dragged her to the water.

"Yaya! You need floaties before you get in the water!" Kairi caled out.

"Oh yeah! Thank you Kairi," she said. The two of them went out to shack to see what they could find.

"Thank goodness. I haven't put on sunscreen yet," Nade said as she came back to us.

"We all better put some on," Amu agreed. After a few more minutes of protecting ourselves from the sun, we were ready.

"About time girls," Kukai said.

"Shut up," Utau said. She lounged on a chair with a magazine in her hands. Ikuto dragged Amu somewhere. Kukai went to talk to Utau.

"Hey Tadase, want to play volleyball?" Nagi asked.

"Sounds fun."

"May I play please?" Nade asked.

"Sure, but we're gonna need one more person to play," Nagi said. All three of them looked at me.

"I bet Blue or Leo could play," I offered. As long as it wasn't me I was good. I would sit in a chair and watch. I didn't really plan on swimming or anything.

"They're talking about their band so they decided to go off on their own for a while," Nade said.

"Maybe Rei or Aarin can when they're done talking to Aarin's parents," I offered weakly.

"Please Rima. If you play then I'll tell you some more funny stories about Nagi later when it's just us," Nade said.

"What did you tell her?" Nagi asked. He seemed a bit nervous.

"Nothing A cup," she teased.

"A cup?" Tadase asked. Nagi had blue depression lines on his face.

"Don't worry about it. I guess I'll play," I said trying to make Nagi feel better.

"Now I don't know if I want you to. Nade knows too much even if we lived in different countries almost our whole life," Nagi said.

"Don't be like that Nagi. It could be fun. Rima can even be on your team so you don't have to go against her," Nade said.

"That's hurting him more than helping him. You put the guy with a boot on his foot and the least athletic person on the team," I pointed out.

"Is it really alright for Nagi to play with his foot like that?" Tadase asked.

"It's fine. I get this stupid thing off in about a week," Nagi answered.

"You would've gotten it off a month ago if you weren't on this tour with us," Nade pointed out.

"Enough talking. Let's get this over with," I said.

"Alright, you guys can have the ball first. Also no charas," Tadase said.

"I think they're having fun on their own anyway," Nade said as she pointed at them building a small sand castle.

"I'll serve," Nagi said.

*Blue's POV*

"So what's the real reason you wanted us alone. It can't really be talk about our band," Leo said. He had his hands in his pockets as we walked around a mall.

"After this tour I want to break the band up," I said.

"WHAT!?" I knew we were getting all kind of looks but I couldn't meet anyone's gaze. I just looked at my feet. We had stopped walking.

"Did I hear you right?" he asked.

"I want to stop this!" I spoke up. I know we were in public and we were fighting, which is something our manager told us to avoid, but I had to get this out before I chickened out.

"Why in the world would you want to quit?!" he asked. I still couldn't look at him. I would see his disappointment.

"I have my reasons," I barely whispered.

"What did you say?"

"I said I have my reasons!" I yelled. I couldn't take it anymore so I ran. This band was destroying who he was. It was changing him into something mean.

"Blue!" I heard him chase after me. I can't talk to him anymore. I turned toward the bathrooms and went inside the girls. I know he won't follow me in here. He has too much pride.

"Are you alright? You're crying." I didn't realize I was crying. I touched my cheek and I felt tears. The girl was right. She has blonde hair that curled at the bottom in a weird way. She was a blue dress that I thought was cute.

"I'm fine. Just drama," I said.

"I understand. I have drama of my own too. How about I cheer you up. I make jewelry. My friends say that they give the people who wear them good luck," she said as she pulled a simple necklace with a red jewel hanging from it. She seemed to have a french accent.

"It's very pretty. I can't possibly take this," I said.

"Oh I insist," she said.

"Maybe I could give it to Leo," I said.

"I have another one. You can wear them as friendship necklaces," she said.

"I don't know. We are a little too old for stuff like that."

"Like I said, my jewelry is lucky," she said.

"Alright. Thank you so much. What is your name by the way?" I asked.

"My name is Nami Mori."

"My name is Blue. Thank you again."

"It's not a problem at all." She gave me a smile. I walked out of the bathroom to see Leo sitting outside the door waiting for me.

"Hey." It was a little bit awkward how he said it, as if he didn't know if that was the right thing to say. The Leo I knew was so confident.

"Hey. I'm sorry about earlier but it has to be done. To make it up to you I have friendship necklaces," I said as I handed him one.

"Thanks Blue." He didn't seem happy at all but he gave me a weak smile. I hope I see Nami again. She was right! The luck was already working a little bit. She seemed to have cute fashion too with that blue dress she wore. Maybe she can tell me how she curled her blonde hair that way. It almost looked like could be called octopus style.

*Rima's POV*

"You got it Rima!" Nagi cheered. The ball was coming right to me. I tried to hit it up over the net but it hit my arms and almost fell straight down just to mock me.

"That's nine to four," Tadase said.

"I hate this sport," I said.

"I think you hate every sport Rima," Nagi joked.

"I don't know why you wanted me on your team anyway," I said.

"I'll always want you on my team Rima," he said. I smiled at him.

"Hey are we done playing or are you going to serve the ball?" Nade asked. She was really getting into the competition. It's scary how much she is like Temari.

"Nadeshiko, maybe you should calm down a little bit," Tadase warned.

"I don't think I can. This is too much fun. We only need one more point to win. Also I got a great teammate," she said. I saw Tadase blush a little bit as she smiled at him. Nagi threw the ball up in the air and spiked it. Tadase hit it up in the air and Nade spiked it over the net. It went over my head but luckily Nagi recovered it and hit it up.

"Hit it Rima," he said. I stood under it and hit it. It hit the top or the net and came back and hit my head.

"Ow!"

"Are you alright?" Nagi asked.

"I'm ok. It didn't really hurt," I assured him.

"We won!" Nade cheered. She hugged Tadase and he held her and spun her around. He set her down and let go in embarrassment. She didn't seem to notice.

"Hey Nagi! Now that you're done with that, you should go surfing with me," Kukai said.

"Sorry but I can't get my boot wet. It's already bad enough when I have to shower and I have to keep plastic wrap around it," Nagi said.

"I'll challenge you!" Utau said. The two of them zoomed into the water with surfboards.

"I think those two are more competitive than romantic," Nade said. I noticed the other couples were having fun too. Yaya had floaties on and was splashing Kairi in the shallow part of the water. Ikuto was walking on the shore with Amu. They were talking but I could tell he teased her every once in a while by her reaction. Rei and Aarin were still inside. Also Leo and Blue haven't made it back yet.

"Can we sit now? I'm so tired," I complained.

"Sure thing Rima," Nagi said. Him and I sat down.

"Are you enjoying yourself Rima?" he asked.

"I honestly had a little fun even though volleyball is impossible," I said.

"It's easier if you're not short," he teased.

"I can't help it," I whined.

"I'm just messing with you Rima.

*Nami's POV*

"Why did you use my name?" I asked. I made sure to not sound upset so she wouldn't get mad.

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it. That girl can't know my real name of course. That idiot bought the whole luck thing so easily. She was way too gullible."

"You could've used any name though. Did my step-father tell you to use my name?" I asked. She has to be up to something.

"No, it was my own idea. I think it's genius. Can you tell me why?"

"Blue doesn't know me. She's never met me before so there is no connection that I can make," I said. I know she's up to something. If I play dumb then she'll tell me. She's too proud of her schemes to keep it to herself.

"That is true but before the concert tonight I'm going to use the necklaces on those two Americans. Then the guardians will purify then as planned. They will ask who gave them the necklaces and they will reply with..."

"Me." I said as I caught on to her plan. She planned to frame me. Even if I told them the truth behind everything then they wouldn't believe me. I don't want to lose their trust but I have betrayed them the whole time. I dropped to my knees and bowed my head down. Tears started to form in my eyes but I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing them. I don't want to lose my friends. They've been so good to me after all the cruel things I've done to them, especially Rei and Aarin.

"Looks like I finally broke your spirit," Lulu said with a smirk on her face. She will pay for this.

*Time Skip*

*Nagi's POV*

"I told you that you were going to get burned," Utau said as she slapped Kukai's burnt back. He cringed at the pain.

"You were right ok? Please stop hitting me," he whined.

"I didn't know he could get burned. I just assumed that he naturally tans," Amu said.

"You got a little burnt on your cheeks," Ikuto pointed out.

"I think Kairi got the worst of it," Aarin said. The poor nerd was red head to toe. Yaya was nice enough to rub aloe on his back before we got to the concert.

"Utau, it's a full house tonight and we still have an hour till we go on," Sanjo informed us.

"It's a great feeling. I still remember when we were starting from the bottom all over again," Utau said.

"Same here," Rei agreed.

"Do you know where Leo and Blue are?" Sanjo asked. All of us looked at Nade.

"I don't really know," she admitted.

"We need to find them soon and make sure they're ready to go," Sanjo said.

"They might be in their dressing rooms," Utau suggested.

"? eggs!" the charas yelled.

*Leo's POV*

"Blue brought to my attention that she is breaking the band up after this tour," my manager said.

"I'm aware. Why are you tell me? Shouldn't you be comforting her. You were always good at that more than I was," I said.

"We both know that she's not mad at me. You better make it up to her. It doesn't matter if this band breaks up, yes it's a bummer, but I don't want your friendship to be ruined. You changed a lot after I discovered you and Blue. Try to be like you used to be, like you really are." He got up and left my dressing room. Have I really changed that much? I guess I have if people around me say I have. I need to break it off with Nade. I've been dating her jusst to piss her brother off and to use her. I never did that before all this. That's probably why Blue wants to quit the band. I've been such a jerk. I looked at the necklace on the table. It's not much but it's a step. I grabbed it and put it over my head. A knock stopped my thoughts.

"Who is it?"

"It's Blue."

"Come in." She opened the door.

"We should be getting ready," she said.

"Alright. Hey Blue? Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure."

"I want to say I'm sorry...for everything." She looked at me surprised.

"I've been an asshole this whole time, a complete idiot. Could you forgive me?" She smiled at me.

"Of course I can," she said. I noticed the necklace she was wearing. I held mine up for her to see it. She touched hers.

"Blue, Leo, you are on in thirty minutes," a stage person warned us.

"We're almost ready," I said.

"Nami?"

"You know her?" I asked.

"She gave me these necklaces."

"Yes, you've done your part perfectly," this Nami chick said in a French accent.

"What do you mean?" The chick didn't answer. A purple flower popped into her hair. Was I seeing things? I could've sworn that wasn't there before.

"That jewelry is magic and it will make your wish come true," she said. My head seemed a bit fuzzy. I must be sick or something because I saw an egg come out of my and Blue's chests. It turned a red-ish purple with a question mark.

"Just do want y'all wanna do!" the girl cheered. My mind went completely black.

*Nagi's POV*

"Show us where!" Amu said. We followed our charas backstage.

"Rockstar Dream!"

"Leo! Blue!" Nade recognized. A second later we were in Leo's dressing room. We saw them looking all decked out in black. Leo had his black hair spiked up and eyeliner around his blue eyes. He had a mic in his hand. Her wore way too many belts and there were chains hanging from his pants. Blue's hair has actually turned blue, instead of the usual blonde, and was crazy wavy. She had heavy makeup on. Her shirt didn't quite cover her stomach all the way and her pants were super tight. She wore ridiculously high heels. She has a black and white checkerboard guitar in her hands.

"Let's get these squares babe," Leo said as he wrapped an arm around around Blue's waist.

"Anything for you dear," Blue said. I ignored them and looked at Nade. She was looking at the floor. I knew she wasn't crying but she was clearly upset. They would pay for this.

Rhythm: wow! I thought daydreamer forgot about us

Temari: She's on Christmas break so she actually has some time to type up these chapters

Kusukusu: What will happen next?

Rhythm: Who knows with daydreamer's progress recently we might out three years from now

Daydreamer: Hey!

Rhythm: Don't blame me

Daydreamer: I wanted to apologize from my absence for about the last three months. I'm going to try to type up these chapters as fast as I can before I go back to school. I can't promise that it will be finished by the time I go back but we'll see.

Also I was very surprised when someone (sorry I can't remember who) said that I should stop being mean to Nami. It made me happy that someone really cared about one of my OC's. I know I've added a bunch of them in this story (especially the America arc). There will be a couple more chapters in this arc and then they will be back in Japan where they belong. Thanks for staying with me and being patient.
