It's not easy, Wallart

Chapter Two: Dude, no way!

Wally sat at his usual lunch table with his friend's Jules and Elliot, passing by another Tuesday lunchtime. Jules was tall, easily by-passing Wally, with light brown short hair, brown eyes and olive skin. Elliot on the other hand was the same height as Wally, with curly blonde hair and blue eyes, which got him all the girls. Wally and Elliot had been friends since the start of freshman year, and Jules had joined their band of brilliance after transferring at the start of sophomore year. Making their duo a trio.

"So this girl was smoking hot right." Jules sat across the table from Wally, boasting about the hottie he met in the park last night.

"And so I pulled out the 'hey babe, you come here often?' and then she asks me if I come to the park frequently and I tell her, that I do every day after working out at the gym. Five minutes later I have her number and I quote 'Hope to see you around'! Guys how amazing is that!"

"Wow smooth going Jules. Lying to a girl just to get her number." Elliot teased throwing a fry at his friend.

"Man do you even know where the Gym is?" Wally asked, laughing at the idea of his friend attempting to lift weights.

"Hey you can't' talk Wally. You don't even know how to hit on a girl. When was the last time you got a girls number?" Jules challenged.

"Jules I've told you, I have a girlfriend!"

"And I told you that there's no way you could get a girlfriend when neither Elliot or me can."

"Elliot or I" Eliot automatically corrected him. Being used to this Jules didn't even miss a beat, however did nod in understanding.

"And why have we never seen this mystery girl. What no pictures?"

"I lost my phone over the weekend, but when I find it I'll show you!" both of the other males rolled their eyes and gave him looks.

Elliot sighed "Well then get her to meet us here after school tomorrow. You can't just keep saying you do and never actually coming through Wally."

"I can't she's outta town for a few days, on a family bonding trip with her dad and brother. They went to some cabin."

"Sure sure Wally, whatever you say."

"IT'S TRUE!" Jules patted his freckle faced friend on the back.

"It's ok man, you don't have to make you stuff, we know you don't have any game."

For the rest of the school day Wally had put up with his friends teasing. And on Wednesday he brought his laptop to school.

"Here!" placing it on the desk in front of Elliot, he slipped it open. On the screen was a picture of the whole team in civilian clothing. Wally pointed to the blonde standing next to him in the photo.

"That's my girlfriend." Elliot stared at the photo for a moment before smirking at Wally.

"Dude, there's no way. Just because she's standing next to you doesn't mean she's your girlfriend, seriously man. Now sit down the bell is about to go." Angrily Wally took his seat in class.

At lunch the three boys were sitting at their table, Jules partaking in his favourite hobby at the moment, teasing Wally.

"Ok look at these" Wally passed his laptop to Jules. There was a heap of pictures of Artemis that Wally had taken. Some even being prior to them dating.

"Wally I think this is classified as stalking" claimed Elliot looking concerned at his friend. Wally simply brushed him off, turning his attention back to Jules who was scanning through the large folder of photos.

"Man she's either by herself or with someone else, none with you. And you can get photos of hot chick's offline easily." Wally quickly exited the photos so his screen saver was up. It was a picture of the team, Wally and Artemis standing in the centre of the shot, wally's arm around her waist, and the rest of the team piling in around them.

Elliot looked at the photo, "Man they're the same people from the photo before still not proof."

"But I'm serious, she's my girl. And they're my other friends. You know, cause you two aren't the only people who like me."

"We tolerate you Wally. We're not actually friends." Jules teased, only to be punched in the shoulder by Wally.

"What's her name Wally?" Elliot asked.

"Artemis."

"Ooh Exotic." Piped in Jules, only to get punched again by Wally. Elliot typed the name into Google images and up came photos of Oliver and Artemis at fundraisers and events.

"Dude no way! That's Artemis Queen, as in Oliver Queens new daughter! You have to be shitting me."

"Nope. I'm dating her." Wally spun the laptop around so Jules could see the picture of Artemis dressed up at Wayne's last fundraiser.

"She's way out of your league man. And she's the daughter of a multi-millionaire. You can get pictures of her offline. Do I have to remind you of my stalker comment?"

"And anyway Wally you could have just met her at an event and took a photo with her. Anyone can do it. Stop messing around with us Wally." Jules shut the laptop lid, ending Wally's argument.

For the rest of the week Wally didn't speak about Artemis again and the slowly his friends eased off their teasing. Friday passed like any other day and when the final bell rung everybody, including Wally, were happy to be free from the hell of which people call 'School'. Walking out of main entrance with Elliot and Jules, Wally spotted a group of the guys crowding around a tree near the front gate.

"Any idea what that's about?" Elliot asked, only to receive shrugs in return.

"Someone's new ride probably." Wally suggested.

"Who cares, seems interesting. You two coming?" Jules questioned, seeming overly excited to go see what was happening.

"No man you go ahead." Jules happily hurried off, leaving the other two to continue their walk.

As Wally and Elliot were about to reach the car park they were stopped by someone calling out for Wally. Turning around Wally scanned the crowd of leaving students to catch sight of the voices owner. His eyes landed on a blonde girl, walking towards him, her dazzling smile sending jolts of excitement down his neck.

"Hey babe forgetting something?" Artemis threw her arms around Wally's neck, she was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a too long white t-shirt, which she had knotted at the front, exposing a span of her toned olive stomach.

"That's my shirt." Was the first coherent thought that made it to Wally's mouth.

"You Left it in my room Sunday. And is that seriously all I get?" Artemis demanded playfully. Wally happily applied to her silent request and kissed her hard on the lips, his arms encircling her waist. As they kissed Elliot's jaw dropped.

"That's better, did you miss me Baywatch?"

"Hell yeah. You don't also happen to have my phone do you?" Reaching into her back Pocket Artemis pulled out the object in question, tapping it against his chest.

"It was under my bed. You're lucky Ollie didn't find it." Wally grinned at her and kissed her once more.

The couple was interrupted by Jules rushing back over, throwing himself at Elliot. "You two are not going to believe the amazing Motorbike over there."

"Oh yeah that's mine." Artemis put in. It was only now that Jules registered her existence, shocked at her presence Jules ran his eyes up and down her, eyes lingering on the exposed flesh of her stomach. Wally snapped his fingers, angry at his friends wandering eyes,

"Oi! Eyes up here Jules." Snatching his head up, Jules flashed a confused look at Elliot before turning back to Wally, now noting his hand around her waist.

"Babe these are my two best friends."

"Um hi I'm Artemis, Wally's girlfriend." When neither of the guys moved, Wally cleared his throat.

"Guys!" Elliot was the first to react, stepping forward.

"I'm Elliot and it's really nice to finally actually meet you. We had a hard time believing you were real."

"Well here I am." Artemis laughed.

"Are you really his girlfriend?" Questioned Jules, only to get hit by Elliot.

"Uh yeah I am. Have been for about three months now, soon to be four to my dad's displeasure."

"Your millionaire daddy doesn't-" Before he could finish his sentence Elliot punched him in the shoulder. Causing him to curse under his breathe.

"This is Jules by the way." Elliot put in smirking.

"Hey" Jules waved, having recovered.

"Hello." Artemis replied. Seeing that once again Jules was staring at Artemis and that Elliot was doing nothing but smirking at him, Wally tugged on Artemis' waist pulling her back.

"We should get going Arty."

"It was nice meeting you both" Artemis said as she let Wally pull her away and back towards the crowd of guys surrounding her bike. Elliot and Jules watched as Artemis handed Wally a helmet and sat on the back of the bike, letting Wally drive. Putting his helmet on, Wally sat down and started the engine, waiting for Artemis to move forward and wrap her arms around his mid-section.

Revving the engine, Wally pulled out onto the road and took off. Leaving behind a crowd of stunned faces.

Elliot stood smirking at the astonished look on Jules faces, of who's mouths was hanging wide open. Jules turned slowly to look at Elliot his expression not changing.

"Dude- NO WAY!"

Hope you like it lads and ladies
