Hey! Here's a deleted scene from the Christmas chapter of IVWAF from when Vlad and Danny were at the Christmas truce party. XD It's really short but I think it's cute anyway!
"Anyone wanna hear 'The Fall of Pariah Dark: a Dramatic Retelling'?"
Some of the ghosts around them grinned in agreement, looking excited to hear from the two saviors themselves. Some other surrounding ones exchanged incredulous looks, but looked a bit interested anyway to hear from the younger hybrid.
"This is bound to be good..." Vlad muttered, rolling his eyes but smiling nonetheless.
Danny launched into the story, starting with when the King's skeleton army had arrived in Amity, and then how the ghosts had formed a temporary alliance and banded together to stop Pariah. And then that their plan had completely backfired and the King succeeded in getting his unlimited power back.
"And then he," the boy pointed to the other half-ghost, "being the crazed-up Fruitloop that he is, decided to take away my powers so he could go on a suicide mission to fight Pariah himself!" Vlad internally face-palmed, silently fuming as the other ghosts turned their undivided attention to him.
"I was trying to protect you!"
"Well you didn't do a very good job, did you?"
The billionaire glared at the boy's smart tone, "It might have worked, if you weren't so incredibly reckless and stubborn..."
Phantom shrugged. "True. But you also could have lost and it would have been all for nothing."
Vlad rolled his eyes once more and sighed in defeat. "I suppose."
"So anyway, my friends helped me to get my powers back and then I went to Pariah's Keep too.. And then the fight was on. It was the two of us, against an invincible Ghost King with unlimited power." Danny told dramatically. "It was intense. Every second we were either attempting to attack him or dodging huge white balls of energy he threw at us. And then, when he was about to get the upper hand, I like, froze him in a giant ice cube somehow." The boy grinned remembering his first time using his ice powers. "His expression was priceless! But then he just melted it and attacked us again. And then Vlad had an idea to do this combo attack thingy where we like, combined our ghost rays-"
"Combo attack thingy?" Plasmius raised an amused eyebrow.
"What else would you call it? Plus, combo attack sounds cool." Phantom glared at the humored expression the man wore. "Ugh, just ignore him. Anyway... then he was pushed back into the Sar... Sarco... thingamajig."
"Sarcophagus?"
Danny glared again. "Yes. It's a big word, okay?"
"I know it is."
