Azul stared at the slip of a blond with pale blue eyes that seemed to peer into your very soul. As it was the Christmas holidays, Nimue had worked her 'magic' and managed to get an extended pass for her girlfriend to visit Night Raven.

Due to the fact it was such a pain to get to the Coral Sea in winter, the trio had opted to stay in Night Raven over the holidays.

Which lead to this awkward moment, as Nimue went to get some things she wanted to share with Luna, leaving her alone in the Monstro Lounge which was mostly closed for the holidays as the staff went home.

After that awkward moment learning everyone had assumed they were dating already, Azul had started to actually think about it. He honestly couldn't see any downsides to the idea, save for the fact Nimue already had a girlfriend. Which was now staring him down with a knowing smile.

"So..." he started, as he really didn't know what to talk about.

"How opposed are you into making a reverse Oreo sandwich?" asked Luna.

"Excuse me?" said Azul, baffled.

"Hermione introduced me to them. Apparently they're two cookies sandwiched between a layer of crème filling."

"I know what an Oreo is."

"Well between you and me, we could make a reverse one with Nimue."

Azul stared at her, mostly in disbelief once he processed what she was actually suggesting.

"Wait...are you talking about a threesome between..."

Nimue walked in at that moment to hear...

"Well I have no objections to sharing her so long as I can join in on the fun too. Besides, it would be interesting to be sandwiched between two cephalopods," said Luna cheerfully.

Azul was openly staring at her. Nimue however was used to this sort of behavior. Last time she had openly suggested they coax Hermione into their bed as well.

Nimue wasn't sure if Hermione was firmly straight, or just in denial. Luna kept suggesting that maybe enough alcohol would loosen the girl up to the idea.

Azul looked between the two in utter disbelief.

"You...are actually serious about that."

"Of course we're not Sirius... we look much prettier than him!" said Luna.

Nimue snorted at the terrible pun. She felt obligated to explain for Azul's sake.

"Sirius Black is my godfather, and he makes serious/Sirius puns all the time."

"Ah," said Azul, his mouth suddenly very dry. There was no way this was happening to him, right? This was all one very surreal fever dream.

Nimue shared a look with Luna, and the two girls grinned. Azul suddenly felt like he was being 'caught' and he wasn't sure that was a bad thing.

The next morning...

"Tako-chan, you look like you just came back from the dead," said Floyd.

"Indeed...and you were missing all last night. Did something happen?" asked Jade.

Azul looked like death warmed over, but there was such an odd expression on his face that they were more curious than alarmed.

"Nimue's girlfriend...is insane," said Azul.

"What do you mean?" said Jade.

"Considering that you've never had to keep up with Luna before, you held out admirably well," said Nimue. She looked downright chipper. "There's a reason her name is Lovegood after all."

Floyd and Jade looked at each other, then at Nimue. Then they gave Azul an oddly appraising look. A shit eating grin filled Floyd's face.

"Wait...are you telling me that you and Tako-chan..."

"He's actually the first boy Luna agreed to have a threesome with. Normally we occasionally have fun with two other girls from Hufflepuff," said Nimue as if it was nothing.

That shit eating grin was plastered across both twin's faces now. Azul's current state now made perfect sense. Azul's blush filled his entire face and he refused to look anyone in the eye.

Luna waltzed in as fresh as a daisy and smiling as usual.

The twins didn't bother hiding their grins when the two girls lured Azul back to do unspeakable things to him, and they were at least nice enough not to laugh at Azul's current predicament until he was well out of earshot.

The next time only Nimue walked out, and the twins gave her an amused look.

"So did you kill him or bring him back?" asked Floyd with a leer.

"Well he needs to work on his stamina. We had to give him a few hours to recover after the fifth...or was it sixth...round," said Nimue cheerfully.

Jade was openly leering at her now with a smirk. This was too hilarious.

By the time Luna left, Azul was still rather bewildered over the entire matter. Also, he was not amused in the least that the twins started collecting bets over whether he was a couple with Nimue.

"What's a podcast?" asked Nimue.

"It's a show where people discuss topics of interest to others who are also interested," said Idia. "Remember the discussions we had regarding that movie and how it's completely off-track with actual mythology?"

"The one where you actually spoke at length without having a panic attack?" said Nimue. Idia blushed at the reminder.

"Well the Great Seven are highly regarded among mages and mundanes alike. But people normally don't go into proper depth about them because of how long ago they lived. I sent a copy of our discussion to a third party and he was...interested...in hearing more on your perspective on the Seven, and in Greek myths in particular. He was highly entertained by your blunt dismissal of Zeus in favor of Hades."

Entertained was putting it lightly. Hades had been downright delighted by the fact such a powerful mage barely paid any respect to Zeus at all, and rather favored Hades over him for legitimate reasons. He found her arguments insightful and amusing on more than one level.

Hence Idia's suggestion of a podcast. He really didn't want to be Hades' source of entertainment and he knew damn well the god had a phone.

Nimue looked thoughtful, as she enjoyed those talks and it would give her an excuse to dig into all sorts of magical legends and mythology.

Plus if she was smart about it, she might even be able to skip her least favorite subject of history. That wasn't to say Professor Trein was boring, just that Binns had soured her on the subject and the class itself often put her to sleep as a side effect.

Her grades were impeccable, which was the only reason Trein didn't do more than throw a piece of chalk at her occasionally.

"How do you make a...podcast?" asked Nimue curiously. "Also, that game you recommended last time was a lot of fun."

Idia grinned at her. For some reason he felt weirdly relaxed around her.

Idia helped her set up a Magicam Channel and showed her how to record and post video. Between them they were able to make a basic description of what the channel was about, and post a generic intro video for her new channel.

Nimue debated on what to post first, and after some thought decided to start with what she had knowledge of already...plus she could call the demi-god himself to make it as complete as possible.

Maui would probably love it. After all, she was broadcasting his story on a much larger scale beyond his pantheon in a way the other gods couldn't get pissed about.

A few days later, once she had her materials ready, she posted her first real podcast video about the legend of Maui. His origin, his history, the incident with Te Fiti and then Te Ka, and finally his marriage with Moana. She had made sure to get the facts straight from the demi-god himself as well as his wife.

"So which god are you going to do next?" asked Azul with interest.

"I'm going to a full spread on all the know trickster gods first, since I'm more familiar with them. The next one is going to be Loki."

"That should prove fun," said Azul. He was mostly interested in the stories about Ursula, but he could appreciate a trickster spirit like Loki who used his silvertongue to outwit even the gods.

Elsewhere, in an undisclosed location...

A man with vibrant green eyes heard a notification chime form his phone. Such a useful invention and his idiot brother still hadn't figured out how Loki had managed to avoid him.

All because that idiot Fandral couldn't resist tagging them whenever they arrived to places, giving Loki ample time to teleport far, far away from his brother. Creating those dummy accounts was worth the headache.

He smirked when he saw what it was alerting him about. She had posted another video of her podcast. It had amused him that her first real video was about Maui of all people, and that she had likely gotten details from the demi-god himself regarding his stories. Knowing that blowhard, Maui had probably loved every minute of it.

His smirk widened when he realized that this weeks video was about him. He sat back and hit play, eager to see how she viewed his stories.

It soon became apparent that Nimue favored Loki, as some of the stories she mentioned were less well known and only someone who had gone to the effort of actually reading the old folklore would have known about them. He could see from the way her eyes danced as she spoke of his mischief that she had inherited the trickster spirit of her fathers...both of them.

Choosing Potter had been the correct choice. It bothered him she had disappeared for ten years, but it seems she had come out no worse for wear because of it.

It wasn't like he could have raised her, not with that damn curse Triton placed on her still active. She never would have survived being around him or the places he traveled without her full divine heritage unsealed.

By all appearances, it was clear that she had located Maui's missing hook and broken the curse herself. It would explain why the demigod had all but sung her praises when he last spoke to him. Even Moana, the handmaiden of Te Fiti, had spoken favorably of the girl.

He would have to make a visit soon. And he wouldn't come empty handed...after all, he had nearly two decades worth of presents to make up for.

The trickster god known as Loki smirked, observing the girl. He had to wonder how she would react to the truth.

It was long past time to have some father-daughter bonding, after all.

Today's podcast was special. She would be doing a series on the Great Seven, and to that extent she made a point of visiting the other dorms to find whomever was most knowledgeable on the subject so they could share their own opinion on the matter.

Which was why she was having tea with a fiery red head who reminded her painfully of Hermione, just with a stronger temper.

Vil was currently busy, Idia would need time to accept the idea of joining her, and Malleus...the less said about him, the better. She was going to save the Diasomnia dorm head for last.

Cater had been kind enough to help her set up a stand so they could do the podcast without her having to hold up the phone the entire time. He had been more amused than anything about it.

"So...why did you pick me first?" asked Riddle.

"Mostly out of convenience," admitted Nimue. "Leona is being a pain to contact, Vil is ridiculously busy at the moment, Azul is working on a new contract for his restaurant, Idia still needs to work on his anxiety first and Malleus..."

Riddle winced.

"Yeah, I'm saving him for last for obvious reasons," said Nimue. "And out of all the students at NRC, you are the only one who's memorized the rules of the Queen of Hearts and almost perfectly embody what the spirit of Heartsabyl is about."

Riddle preened, just a bit. It was nice to be appreciated.

"So what is this particular video about?" asked Riddle, curious. Trey was about due to arrive with some tea and snacks.

"I want to do an in-depth perspective on the legend of the Queen of Hearts. As the housewarden of her dorm, you can provide a proper insight to her possible thought process as well as expand on the infamous rules she made," said Nimue. "I don't want you to pretty up her story either...I want your honest opinion on whether she was a good ruler or not."

Riddle perked up at that. He was glad for a chance to boast about his dorm and about the rules he enforced so strictly. From what he knew of Nimue, she wouldn't try to disparage his dorm.

Cater got into position. He would be making sure the camera was recording properly...besides it allowed him to skate on any homework.

"So...shall we begin?"
