Hey guys! Hylian Mage here! So, I know what you may be thinking: "Oh no. He's abandoning this story!" Well have no fear loyal readers! For I am not abandoning this story! I'm actually planning on continuing this, but with some… adjustments. Looking back, I started this story when I was 17/18 (I forgot which), and rewrote it about a year later. That was when I was just starting out in writing.

Looking back, I really can't help but freaking cringe whenever I think about how I wrote this. I honestly hate a lot of things about this story. Terms and events and things that are just plain awful. Even with the rewrite, I can't help but get uncomfortable pins and needles whenever I think about this story. So, I've decided to once again rewrite it.

However instead of just making a new story, I'm just gonna replace various chapters with the new ones. I'm gonna be doing this with all of my stories except for 'You're a Wizard, Percy?'. So, what exactly am I gonna change? Well, I'll be more than happy to tell ya!

First off, the POV. I absolutely loathe writing in first person. So, I'm gonna write it in a third person POV. I think this'll be good for explaining some things in the plot and such.

Second, my OC. Oh goddesses where do I even begin with this one? I can't tell you how embarrassed I get whenever I think about him. Like, oh. My. Gods he is so freaking emo and I didn't even realize it when I created him. UUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!

So, what am I changing about him? Virtually everything. Instead of Ginkage Higure (shudder) his name will now be… drumroll please…

Orion Nightshade! Foster brother of Zoe Nightshade! Yay!

So why am I changing it to that? Well, for a few reasons. First, I hate hate hate hate his name right now. Second, I think it will make much more sense for someone adopted by Artemis to have a Greek name.

His parentage, I'm still gonna have him as an adopted son of Artemis (because reasons), but instead of recognizing Apollo as a father, he'll be the crazy uncle that gets drunk at family gatherings. I found it very unrealistic for him to recognize the twins as parents, it was either one or the other for me.

'But Hylian! Artemis hates men! She'd never adopt a male!' Well, that logic is both right and wrong. According to both the books and the wiki "Artemis holds a general dislike for most men, although she does acknowledge and respect those who prove themselves to her, such as Orion, Hyppolytus, and Percy Jackson." Also, she is protective of youths and maidens, such as the case of Sipriotes who saw her naked and begged for forgiveness, causing her to turn him into a woman and join her Hunt.

So, that being said, there's no reason why Artemis would not take in a newborn baby boy and care for him into adulthood, especially when she can use it as a way to keep her twin brother from 'corrupting' him. Going along with that, I feel she would name him after the one man whom she could consider a friend.

That's pretty much the biggest change that I'm gonna have in this story, the other ones will most likely be evident as (if) you guys re-read them. So, hope you guys enjoy, and see you all soon!
