Hi guys! I'm actually going to keep writing this! But this chapter might be a bit short. Sorry! I really wanted to leave it with a cliffhanger. Because I know how much you love cliffies *evil smirk*
Kai:You're sick. You know that?
Me:Why thank you!

Me:Anyways, enjoy the chapter!
COLE'S POV
I hopped off the motorcycle to see where we were at. I gasped at the sight.
"Wow," I whispered in amazement. Kate had led us to a beautiful flower garden. It had stone pathways and a soothing fountain. The moon shone down the dozens of flower bushels. This is…just like my dream. Kate giggled.
"Nice, isn't it?" she spoke with a smile. I grinned back.
"Are you kidding? It's awesome!" I exclaimed. I and Kate wandered over to the pink azaleas. Kate softly touched one.
"These are my favorite," she said. I thought for a minute. Then, gently, I pulled an azalea off the bush. I held out my hands and put them in hers, giving Kate the flower. She slightly blushed.
"Er…thanks," Kate mumbled, but I could still hear her slightly. I reached for the white water lily in Kate's hair and replaced it with the azalea.
"There. That's better," I said. Kate cheeks turned a slight shade of pink. Suddenly, Kate stiffened.
"Kate? Are you ok?" I asked, concerned. She snapped back.
"Um- anyway, let's go sit down," she stumbled. Before I could say anything, she started walking over to a patch of grass. I stood for a minute. What just happened to her? One minute, she was stiff and looked scared. The next, she's all happy. It's probably nothing. I followed Kate and laid down next to her. We laid there for a few minutes, not saying a word. It felt awkward. I cleared my throat to get Kate's attention.
"So, um-Kate. Remember when you first met me and the others? When you attacked us?" I asked her. Kate grinned.
"How can I? I kicked your guys' butts," she spoke, amused by my question. I chuckled, and then went back to talking.
"Anyways, I thought it was amazing for what you did with the knives. So how did you really do that?"
Kate smiled.
"Magic, remember?" she replied. I chuckled a bit before seeing her face, realizing she was being serious. Kate went on.
"It's an ancient art. Tanken mahō. I learned it when I was a little girl. It's basically when you can control the knives. You know, levitating, shape shifting, all that stuff. But it can only be used with concentration and focus," she explained. I nodded in understanding. But there was another question on my mind. I wasn't sure whether to ask her or not.
"Kate. I've been wanting to know," I started. Kate looked at me, telling me to continue. I scratched the back of my head.
"Why did you become an assassin?"
