Family Is A Gift That Lasts Forever
[Downtown Vancouver. 12:10 pm]
Mal's POV
The next day, Evie and myself were at the store with our family joining us. We split up: Evie, Lonnie and Jane heading over to the produce section while Jay, Carlos and I were heading over to the seasonal department where there was a lot of Halloween stuff. Once we got there, we were amazed by the massive selection there was.
"Bro, check this out!" Jay said to Carlos.
Jay grabbed a giant plastic skeleton spider off a shelf. The thing is huge. About three feet from left to right.
"Oh my gosh! That is so cool!" I said.
"You should have that in your front yard." Carlos said.
"Oh hell, Evie won't let me have that." I said.
"But come on! This is your first house and your first holiday seasons celebrating it in. You know you have to really decorate the place." Jay said.
"I know. I'll keep that in mind, because that is really cool. But come on, let's check out what else is here." I said.
Jay put the spider down and followed me and Carlos.
"You should tell Evie that's a Thanksgiving spider." Carlos said.
"Thanksgiving spider?" I asked.
Carlos smiled and shrugged. We continued to look around and I began to see many things I like. I had Jay run upfront to get me a cart so I can put five boxes of lights, a scarecrow, fog machine, bags of fake cobwebs, a roll of caution tape and then that giant three foot spider.
"That's more like it." Jay said.
"We can help you decorate, Mal." Carlos said.
"Yeah!" Jay said.
"Thanks, guys. Now let's go meet up with the girls." I said.
We walked across the store to find Evie, Lonnie and Jane at the bakery section. Before we approached them, Lonnie and Jane walked away, leaving Evie by herself. The boys were about to walk up to Evie until I stopped them.
"What?" Carlos asked.
"Isn't Evie beautiful? I love that dress she's got on. Then that coat she wore over it outside? She's so pretty." I said.
"Yes, Mal. She is." Carlos said.
"You're meant to be with her." Jay said.
"Yeah. I just had to say that. But wait here for a sec." I said.
A cheeky thought was in my head. The boys started to quietly laugh as they saw me pick up the giant spider from the cart and slowly walk up behind Evie. Evie was humming quietly to herself as she was looking at some cakes at a display table. I started to quietly laugh to myself but quickly silenced myself and focused. Using some of the spider's legs, I had the spider tap Evie on her right shoulder.
As Evie turned around, I loudly yelled "boo!" as I had the spider jumped right in Evie's face. Evie screamed so loud, her voice echoed throughout the open area of the bakery section and produce section as the two were connected together. I laughed, and Carlos and Jay laughed louder as I knew many people probably heard her. As I calmed myself down, Evie looked at me in an upsetting way.
"Hi, sweetness. Look at what I got." I said.
"I see." Evie said.
"I'm going to buy it. It's going to go in our front yard."
"Oh yeah?" Evie asked.
"Yeah."
"Very cool. Very cool."
Evie walked over to her cart to get it then walked back to me.
"That's two I owe you now." she said with a smile.
Lonnie and Jane returned back with some laundry detergent and dish soap.
"Did you guys hear someone scream?" Jane asked.
"Yeah, it was me." Evie said.
"What? Why?" Lonnie asked.
Evie pointed to the spider I was holding. It was pretty much self explanatory.
"Oh, I see." Lonnie said.
"People up front heard that and were wondering what was going on." Jane said.
"Nope, Mal was just being herself." Evie said.
"Again?" Lonnie asked.
"Yep." Evie replied, making me smile.
I followed behind Evie as she continued to shop. The others followed behind us.
"If you guys see something you want, go ahead and get it. I'll be happy to buy it for you." Evie said.
The others took Evie up on her offer and picked out some things for themselves. When we reached the candy aisle, I grabbed a couple bags of blue gummy sharks and tossed them into my cart.
"What are those?" Evie asked.
"Gummy sharks." I replied.
"Do you really need those?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Mal, no you don't. That's just eating sugar."
"No."
I grabbed a bag of sugar from a nearby shelf and held it up to her.
"This is eating sugar!" I said.
Evie looked at me in another upsetting way but she looked so attractive.
"I'm going to beat you." she said.
"Oh please do. Spank me. Spank me hard! I've been such a naughty girl!"
"Mal!" Evie exclaimed.
All of a sudden we turned and saw an older lady looking at us. Completely horrified by what I said. We all stared at her and she stared at us for a few seconds before turning away, shaking her head in disapproval.
"Kids these days." she muttered as she walked away.
Carlos, Jay, Lonnie and even Jane laughed while Evie looked at me with her eyes narrowed, not laughing or saying a word.
"I love you." I said with a smile.
Evie sighed and pulled me into a hug.
"I love you too, baby."
It was soon after we had completed all our shopping. Evie had a lot more in her cart than I did. But it makes sense. There's a lot of groceries that needed to be bought for six people. As we were all walking towards the checkout, I noticed some reading glasses at the end of an aisle on some of those peg hooks. I grabbed a black pair of glasses and ran up to Evie.
"Here, put these on." I said to her.
"Why?" Evie asked.
"Just do it."
Evie put the glasses on and my oh my.
"Whoa, you look so attractive with those." I said.
The others looked at Evie and gave a sign of approval.
"I do?" Evie asked.
"Absolutely. You can be my hot secretary for Halloween." I said.
Evie smiled and rolled her eyes.
"Go put them back." she said, handing them back to me.
"Fine."
[Mal and Evie's home. 2:04 pm]
We returned home soon after leaving the store. Carlos and Jay were really eager to help me decorate the house. I walked in on them taking the Halloween decor I bought out of the bags.
"Really, guys? You want to do this now?"
"Yeah!" Jay replied.
"You don't have much time." Carlos said.
It's another thing I can do with my brothers, so why not?
"Alright! Let's do this!" I happily said.
We decided to start in the foyer.
"We should add some little spider webs to the fish tank. That would be cool." Carlos said.
I gasped. Oh no. The fishes.
"Oh my god! The fish! I forgot to feed them this morning!"
"It's okay, Mal. They're still alive." Jay said.
"I know. But I had this schedule set for them and they must be starving right now."
The angelfishes' food wasn't where I put it. So I began to frantically search for it. Fish are delicate, and I believe that was the reason I was freaking out so much.
"Sis, relax." Jay said.
I tried to by taking deep breaths. And it helped.
"Alright. Help me find it. It's tropical fish flakes and it's got a picture of an angelfish on the container."
We searched around for it but couldn't find it.
"Damn it, where did I put it?!" I asked.
"M?"
I turned and saw Evie holding exactly what we were looking for.
"Oh, E." I said, sighing in relief.
"It was in the kitchen." Evie said as she handed the container to me.
"Thank you so much."
"You're welcome, Mal."
Evie kissed me and walked away.
"Here, Carlos. Feed them for me." I said as I tossed him the fish food.
"Really, Mal? Cool."
I felt much better as I watched the fish eat their food.
"There, do you feel better? Mommy is so sorry she forgot to feed you this morning." I said to the fishes.
Like they really understood me. After all that, Jay, Carlos and I took a good amount of time decorating the foyer and a bit of the living room with lights and cobwebs. And outside I placed the scarecrow and giant spider in a good place in the yard. I decorated the yard with a little bit of the caution tape I bought as well as found a place for the fog machine to be set up. I headed back inside the house and suddenly noticed everyone had disappeared. I looked around with wonder, trying to figure out where everyone went.
"Guys?" I asked aloud.
But I got no reply. I walked into the kitchen and saw a few small pieces of candy laying on the floor in a straight line leading to the door that's to the garage.
"What the hell?"
I opened the door and looked into the garage. All that was in there was just our car. But as I was about to turn around and leave, I heard a noise by the car. But as I slowly walked over to the car…
"BOO!"
"Ah, fuck!"
Evie had jumped at me from around the corner of the car.
"Goddammit, Evie!" I exclaimed.
Evie couldn't help but laugh at me as she pulled me into a hug.
"Got you baby."
"You sure did."
"Did you like how I planned this?"
"I did. It was very good of you."
Evie walked me back into the house and Jay, Carlos, Lonnie and Jane were sitting in the living room smiling at me.
"What?" I asked.
"She got you good, didn't she?" Jay asked.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"We heard you scream 'fuck', Mal." Lonnie said.
I suddenly realized something.
"You told them to go hide, didn't you?" I asked Evie.
Evie giggled and nodded. I sighed and crossed my arms.
"Very nice, Evie. That was very nice."
"Oh don't get so worked up yet. I still have one more time to owe you."
The rest of the day we chilled together and then went to bed around nine. I was laying in bed waiting for Evie to finish her routine. But as I was impatiently waiting, I started to get in the mood a little.
"Come on, Evie. Hurry up!" I said.
"Hurry up? Mal!" Evie exclaimed.
I sighed and jumped off the bed and walked into the bathroom and out my arms around her.
"Yes, hurry up." I said.
"Why?"
"Oh, I don't know. I just want to fuck you, that's all." I said as I felt her thighs.
Evie smiled at me through the mirror.
"Oh you."
After she was done, she turned around and looked at me.
"So what would you like to do?" she asked.
"You." I replied.
Before she could say anything more, I pulled her into a deep kiss. I then grabbed her hand and led her to our bed. I gently pushed her onto the bed, making her let out a light squeal before getting on top of her and began kissing her on the neck.
"Oh, baby. You know I like this." Evie moaned.
"Oh yeah."
We quickly took our nightdresses off and laid back in bed. Evie laid on her stomach while I sat above her. Evie moaned as I began to give her a massage.
"Oh you're so good at massaging, Mal." Evie said seductively.
"Are you being a smartass, Evie?" I asked, not so seductive.
"What? No, of course not!"
"You know what?! Spanking!"
All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I decided to slap Evie right on her ass.
"Oh my! Mal!" Evie exclaimed, turning herself to look at me.
I just looked at her.
"Damn, girl. I kind of like that."
"Oh really?"
Evie smiled at me once more before turning her head back down. I continued to rub Evie for a little bit before laying down beside her. We kissed some more. Touched each other and really got intimate with our desired position. After a great finish, we sat up at the foot of the bed, resting ourselves against each other.
"Oh that was great." I said.
"It certainly was." Evie said.
I held Evie in my arms and kissed her on her head.
"You know, I love how you rub your vagina against mine. And I know you love the feeling of my vagina against yours." I said.
Evie looked up at me in shock.
"Mal! You don't need to be so vulgar."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Let me rephrase. Pussy?"
"Mal!"
"Your labia? Your vulva? You know I love ya."
"Mal, shush! You're going to get me turned on again." Evie said while looking away.
"Oh, so you can get horny when I talk dirty to you, huh? Never knew that before. I'll have to remember that." I said.
Evie turned to look back at me.
"I hate you." she whispered.
I looked down and saw Evie's thighs shake a little.
"Good. You know, we should try angry sex sometime. Just imagine how hot and steamy that would be." I said.
Evie got up and quickly pushed me back onto the bed. She was really turned on now.
"Damn it! I still want you!" she said.
She started giving me many kisses all over my breasts and neck as we were once again engaged in our favorite sex position.
"Aren't you glad we're lesbians?" I asked.
"Never regretted it for a moment." Evie replied.
Evie and I continued until we had our second finish. We laid on our backs in bed, panting from exhaustion.
"I don't think we've ever done it twice in a row like this before." I said.
"No, we never have. But, Mal?"
"Yes, Evie?"
"After we get married, I want our first night as each other's wives to be just like tonight: lots of sex."
"Somehow, I don't think that'll be a problem."
"I love you, M."
"I love you too, E."
After we snuggled up close to each other, I pulled the blanket over us and rubbed Evie's back for a little bit.
"Hey, Mal?"
"Yes, Evie?"
"Should we all go whale watching tomorrow?"
"Yeah. We should." I replied happily.
[Steveston Harbour. 11:00 am]
Evie's POV
And so the next morning, the six of us arrived at the whale watching building close to the harbor. Buying tickets last night in advance made check in easier. It was a hefty price, especially with six of us, costing about a thousand dollars, but I was more than happy to pay that. And before long, we were all out on a large boat heading out to sea with lots of other people.
An hour passed when we arrived out in open waters not far from some small islands. A popular whale sighting spot. The large boat had lots of room to walk around. I noticed Mal by herself at the stern, looking out at the water. I approached her, putting my arms around her and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Looking without me?" I asked.
"No, not at all." Mal replied.
I looked at Mal, it seemed by the look on her face, she was focused on something other than looking for whales.
"Got something on your mind, baby?"
"Yeah. You realize it's almost the end of the week?"
"I do. And I'm going to miss them. A week is not long enough."
"No it's not."
"But we've had so much fun together. And my boss has been really nice about giving me the rest of the week off." I said.
"That was really nice of her."
"So let's just take the rest of the time and enjoy it."
"Okay."
Mal and I kissed before rejoining the others. And it's a good thing we did, because it was then someone shouted "whale!". A killer whale was seen at the surface spouting, followed by six more before diving back under.
"Oh wow! Look at them!" I said.
Many more whales were seen doing the same. It seems we have come across a whole bunch, or a pod, a family.
"Over there is spyhopping!" someone else said.
Mal and I ran over to a different part of the boat and saw four whales sticking their heads straight out of the water. I smiled when I saw Mal wave at them. And I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, but there was a tail of a whale, or fluke, seen sticking out of the water and I swear I saw it move up and down a little, like it was waving back to her. I didn't see what Mal's reaction was to it, but all I know is it left me in shock after the tail went back into the water.
"Oh wow, these whales are so amazing!" Lonnie said.
"You're telling me." I said.
"I wish I could just jump in the water and swim with them." Mal said.
"But aren't they dangerous? They have 'killer' in their name." Jane said.
"They've been known to hunt animals bigger than themselves. They can take on a shark easily, but they never attack humans in the wild. In fact, they're very friendly to humans." Carlos said.
"Exactly. I've heard they're eager to create bonds. How cool would it be to have one as a friend?" Mal asked.
"That would be awesome!" Jay said.
"Yeah, I guess it would be." I said.
"You guess?" Mal asked.
Before anymore could be said, a giant killer whale jumped right out the water close to us which made us all exclaim "whoa!" as the whale made a huge splash. That whale was bigger than the others we've seen.
"Damn, did you see the size of that one?!" Jay asked.
"How could we not?!" I asked.
"Easy, relax, Evie." Mal said.
"That thing could've given me a heart attack!" I said.
We continued to watch the whales for the next thirty minutes. It seems they were putting on a show for us until they decided they were done and went off to hunt.
[Mal and Evie's home. 5:45 pm]
Mal's POV
We arrived back home around five. Now, night time is about to begin. And the setting sun was creating wonderful colors in the sky. I just put the lasagna I was making for dinner in the oven and actually set a timer so I won't forget this time. The others were chilling in the living room watching tv while Evie was on the back porch which was also our four seasons room. I walked into the living room to see what the others were watching.
I found out the others were watching a movie about a group of people doing illegal street races and it seemed to have a lot of action. Looked pretty interesting. But I'll have to take a rain check. Right now I should check up on my future wife. I headed to the back porch and stopped at the open doorway, looking at Evie as she was cleaning the floor.
"You alright there, Evie?" I asked.
Evie looked and smiled at me.
"Just fine, Mal."
I smiled and nodded at her before heading back inside. I stopped and thought for a moment while I stared at the washer and dryer.
"I should probably take this time to start washing the others' clothes."
Just then I heard a scream. Another Evie scream. Except this time, I had nothing to do with it. I quickly ran back to open the door.
"Evie!"
"Mal! There's a roach!" Evie exclaimed.
I looked and jumped a bit when I saw this giant roach. I don't know how big, but it was bigger than what you would see normally.
"Oh shit." I said.
"I thought it was your toy again, but I knew it was real when I saw it move." Evie said.
I looked around, trying to figure a way to get it out of the room. But the roach was in front of the only exit. I looked behind me and saw an almost empty bucket of water sitting by the hot tub. Instantly, I got an idea. I grabbed the bucket and lifted the cover off the hot tub.
"What are you doing?" Evie asked.
"It's a good thing we leave this running all the time. Well, that's what I was told to do anyway, but this water is a hundred and four degrees. I'll steam this fucker." I said.
I filled the bucket with the hot water and carefully approached the roach a little closer so I could get it better with the hot water.
"Careful, Mal." Evie said quietly.
"Take this, motherfucker!" I said as I quickly tossed the hot water onto the roach.
Evie let out a short scream as I drenched the roach. Not seeing the roach move, I laughed as I was proud of my achievement.
"It's alright, Evie. He's dead now." I said.
I gave her a hug and a kiss to help calm her down.
"Thank you, Mal. But can you please get rid of it?" Evie asked.
"Absolutely."
But just as I was beginning to walk over to it, the damn thing started moving. Evie and I gasped as it stood up and looked right at us. And the scariest thing was, it started to charge right at us.
"Get in! Get in!" I said to Evie.
We both made it back inside the house and closed the door just in time.
"I thought you killed it." Evie said.
"The fucker was playing dead." I said.
"Now what are we going to do?" Evie asked.
"Mal? Mal?"
Lonnie walked inside the laundry room to see us leaning against the door.
"There you are, Mal. The timer went off. You're lucky I was nearby to hear it otherwise it would've got burnt if I hadn't taken it out of the oven."
"The lasagna?" Evie asked.
"No, it's lasaga." I said.
"Quiet, Mal. I don't need to be reminded anymore of that messed up cat." Evie said.
"Is everything alright?" Lonnie asked.
"Yeah. Except there's a giant cockroach back there." I replied.
"Oh no." Lonnie said.
"And Mal thought it would be a good idea to throw hot tub water onto it, but it only angered it." Evie said.
"Oh. Well, let's deal with that later. The boys can help you. But let's go eat." Lonnie said.
"Alright." I said.
We followed Lonnie back into the kitchen and she helped me serve our meal. Once again, it felt nice to eat dinner with my family. After our meal, Lonnie and Jane helped me clean up while the boys were with Evie and were able to successfully get rid of the roach by chasing it out of the four seasons room. Jay wanted to smash it but Evie stopped him by telling him that it would leave a "disgusting mess" on the floor. After all that, we relaxed for a few hours, talked, watched some tv, then we all headed to bed for the second to last time. Evie went to sleep first, but I had a little hard time. Because I know tomorrow will be our family's final day with us.
