Hello all! I know I have been away from this story and the entire series for a long time. My life kind of fell apart. Without going into details, I'll just say that my health declined to the point that I am now considered disabled. Without going into gory details, the last year has been exceptionally rough and it is only because of the love and help of my partner that I am still alive. I am now in a stable living situation and my life is - dare I say it - beginning to settle down a bit. Through all of this, I haven't been in a mindset where writing was even possible. My cognitive function is still a bit impaired, but I am hoping to be able to return to writing soon. I want to at least complete this story. Whether or not I continue on, I don't know. I was previously using writing as a way to escape my very bad home situation. Now that I am in a safe and stable home, I don't feel the need for that escape. I am hoping to be able to enjoy writing for the sake of writing, though.
I've read through all the lovely reviews that have been left so far, and I greatly appreciate all of your kind words. I hope to be back soon to complete this installation of the series.
