Stella was back in her room crying. She didn't want it to end like this, never thought it WOULD end, but tonight was the last straw.

Then she heard a knock at the door.

"Go away, Lance!" She yelled.

"It's not Lance." Baron said, walking in.

"What do you want now? Can't you see I want to be alone." Stella cried, burying her face back into her pillow.

"What happened?"

"Nothing I don't want to talk about."

"Cmon, you can talk to me." Baron said while sitting down on the bed. "It'll make you feel better if you let it out."

Stellas eyes poked out of her pillow. "Me and Lance...broke up."

"What? Why??" Baron asked, acting surprised. Stella went on and explained what had happened.

"Why would he do that to you?" He asked

"I don't know. He hasn't been the same since that training incident."

"Stella, he's always been like this. Bi polar, anger issues, little bit of a sociopath. He's just hid it from you. Now that he's shown his true colors, maybe you'll understand why I've tried to keep you from him. He's really not good for you." Baron said.

"Maybe you're right." She sniffed.

"Of course I'm right. Remember when We were kids and I told you you were going to fall off the balcony of my house if you kept doing flips over it. What did you do?"

"….I fell off the balcony." She mumbled

"And who had to catch your foot to stop you from falling?" He asked with a smile

"…You did."

Baron gently placed his hand on her back.

"And I'll always be there to catch you." Stella sat up and hugged him.

"Thanks, Baron."

"You're welcome."

He pulled away and noticed her red face.

"You should drink some more water. Your face is puffy."

Stella scoffed at him. He raised his hands in defense.

"Hey I'm not the one with vanity issues like you. I'm just trying to help you out."

Stella rolled her eyes and begrudgingly followed him downstairs for a drink. She sat down at the counter and sulked some more.

"I really hate that you keep walking in on me crying." She said, resting her chin in her hand. Baron turned to her while getting them both a glass from the cabinet.

"It happens. Maybe now that you and Lance are through, you won't be crying so much."

"Its only happened the last couple of weeks. Otherwise we were fine. I wish it wasn't like this."

"Sometimes good things must come to an end." He said over his shoulder. He took out the potion, and contemplate using it. She seems to be crushing on him already without it…

"Maybe I should talk to him when he gets home." She said. "He did look genuinely confused when I tore him off of that waitress."

Barons face turned to rage and he opened the bottle. The pink mixture made a small heart in the water before turning clear. He turned around with a smile.

"He probably pretended to be confused. Never the less, give it time. You're not in the right mind to make hasty decisions." He handed her the glass.

"Let's make a toast. To new beginnings." He stated.

Stella smiled a little and lifted the glass.

"To new beginnings." She said. They clinked glasses and took a sip, with Baron staring at her as he drank. Stellas small sip turned to her drinking all of the water, as the potion made it irresistible to stop consuming it. She set her glass down and looked over at Baron. He saw pink streaks swirl into her eyes and formed little hearts. The potion kicked in.

She looked away blushing.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, already knowing the answer.

"Much better. Thank you." She gave him a flirty grin.

"I'll take my leave then." Baron announced. He tried to get up but Stella grabbed his hand.

"Actually, would you mind staying down here awhile, with me?" She asked

"Are you sure I'm not a bother?" Baron asked with a smirk. Stella smiled sweetly.

"Of course not! Why would you?"

"Because you've called me that before." He pointed out

"Well I'm sorry for calling you that. You're really not." She insisted.

"It's alright. I'll stay here." He sat back down and they talked all night.

By 2 AM, Stella had fallen asleep, resting her head on the counter. Baron chuckled and picked her up so he could put her to bed. He was halfway up the stairs when Lance came through the front door. He gasped at Baron holding Stella.

"What are you doing?" He asked

"She fell asleep talking to me. I'm just taking her to her bed. If you wish to discuss this, let me set her down first." Baron snapped. Lance surprisingly backed off. He kept going to stellas room and laid her in her bed and tucked her in. She smiled In her sleep. Baron quickly got out of her room to face Lance downstairs. He was back to looking pissed.

"Why were you even with her?" Lance asked with his arms crossed.

"She was upset about you tonight. You really messed up." He said with a smirk.

"I didn't mean for this to happen. I'm going to go talk to her." He started to go upstairs, but Baron stopped him.

"You've already done enough damage for one night.

"Who do you think you are stopping me from seeing my girlfriend?" He snarled and shoved him away. Baron grabbed the back of his shirt and hurled him to the wall, pinning his elbow into his throat.

"I am Princess Stella's bodyguard. And per her own words, you are not her boyfriend anymore. If I hear you head to her room, you will regret it. Now Leave her alone, corporal." He ordered.

Lance looked shocked at hearing Stella really meant it when she said they were through. He pushed Baron off and stormed upstairs to his room. Baron chuckled at his victory.

Lance's door shut with a slam and he angrily took off all his clothes before jumping into bed to think over the events of that night. The waitress was getting a wet rag to wipe it off, and his mind went blank. Why couldn't he remember anything? Maybe guilt was the reason. He didn't know and couldn't understands. He curled up into a ball and shuddered.

Sunday morning

Stella and Lance walked out of their rooms at the same time. They locked eye contact, both filled with sadness.

"Good morning." Lance said sheepishly.

"Good morning."

She walked past him to head to the bathroom, when Lance stopped her.

"Can we talk? Please."

"It's not a good time."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to talk to you. Not now at least." She went around him, leaving him speechless.
