Me: Hello!
That Other Character: Hi. . .
Me: How are you doing? I went to the mall the other day. Do you like books? I think I saw Tom Hiddleston earlier. What's your favorite candy? I love glitter. Sherlock is
awesome.
That Other Character: Um. . . are you okay?
Me: Yep. Totally. Nice shoes. I'm a dancer. Are you-
That Other Character: STOP!
Me: I have ADD by the way
That other Character: What?
Me: ADD. . . Attention Deficit Disorder. . . It makes you forgetful, unorganized, insecure, short-tempered, easily bored, unmotivated, and it can give you mood swings
That Other Character: Well that explains a lot. . . but what makes you have ADD?
Me: It can be passed on through generations. . . My grandma has ADD. . . and if you want the scientific answer: neurotransmitters and nerve pathways of people with ADD or ADHD don't work the same as most people. Certain parts of the brain may be less active than if someone didn't have the disease.
That Other Character: Now I'm starting to feel like I'm back in school
Me: *grins* Sorry. . . I got carried away
AN: Hehe, sorry. . . got a bit carried away there. Thanks for reading! I hope you're enjoying it. Feel free to comment and let me know how I'm doing. Luv y'all!
That Other Character: Is she always like this?
Author: Unfortunately, yes.
