Previously:

Zay asks Lucas for a second interview with him and his fiancée

The rest of the gang moved to a side so that the engaged couple could sit together on the couch for the interview.

Zay sets up the camera and asks, "Where did we end last time?"

Lucas replies, "We were discussing the time when Riley and I were pressured into a relationship only to realise that we weren't ready for one, so we ended that relationship and later went on a friend date"

Zay says, "You have a pretty good memory, buddy. Considering how much you didn't want this, you seem to be really invested."

Riley replies, "That's because Lucas is secretly enjoying this little project of yours"

Lucas slaps his forehead, while Zay says, "I knew it"

Lucas replies, "Alright so I'm kind of enjoying this. Now can we please move on?"

Zay asks, "Alright then, why don't you guys tell us about the time you two finally got together at the ski lodge?"

Riley replies, "Well, we were at the Mount Sun Lodge for a nature hike when Lucas and I finally got together. Things had been complicated between us before, to say the least. We even played a 'Who belongs to Who' game with Evan to help figure things out."

Zay adds, "Oh and Lucas was so jealous that he went out in the middle on the game to kick a tree"

Lucas says, "In my defence, Riley had spent the whole night talking to that guy which was something that she had only done with me till then. Plus, Josh didn't really help when we talked about things after that. Apparently, being worried about my relationship with Riley was a good opportunity for him to tease me."

Riley interjects, "Is that the reason why you were so serious when you were telling me that you're a secure western hero?"

Lucas nervously replies, "Kind of, yes"

Josh mutters, "Unbelievable"

Zay asks, "Can we get back to how you two love birds actually got together?"

Riley replies, "Well, Lucas gave me this amazing speech and finally had his moment"

Lucas chuckles and adds, "I still remember how you shouted for Maya because you though that I was proposing when I was actually about to give you the jellybean"

With that they both start to remember their moment.

-Flashback-

Lucas finds Riley at the bay window and goes to sit next to her.

Riley turns to face him and Lucas says, "My favourite thing in this world is when you talk to me"

Riley asks, "It is?"

Lucas chuckles a bit and replies, "It's okay for you to talk to whoever you want, Riley, you know why? Because... I am a. Secure. Western. Hero"

Riley smiles and says, "Yes. Yes, you are"

Lucas smiles and continues, "But the important talks... The ones that we're going to think about and always remember. Can those just be between you and me?"

Riley pauses for a moment and says, "Well, I don't know, Lucas. How could that happen?"

Lucas moves closer to Riley and replies, "Well, I was thinking that if we were... together a little more... that you would only talk to other people a little bit and you would talk to me... a lot"

Riley asks, "That's what you were thinking?"

Lucas immediately replies, "Yeah"

He then holds Riley's hand and continues, "I think about it all the time"

Riley pauses for a moment and asks, "So, if there was some dance or something, maybe we could go together?"

Lucas replies, "Yeah. Without even asking each other."

Riley looks at Lucas hopefully and asks, "And if you went out and got a sandwich or something, maybe you would think to get me one, too?"

Lucas laughs and replies, "And a drink. And cake"

Lucas pauses for a moment and asks, "So, you've been thinking about this, too?"

Riley sees how they were holding hands before looking up and replies, "Yeah. Yeah, I think about it all the time."

Riley pauses for a moment and continues, "But we always said that the most important thing was that nobody got hurt. Will Maya be okay?"

Lucas nods and says, "She's the one who sent me to you"

Riley smiles and asks, "So this is our moment?"

Lucas smiles and replies, "Mmm-hmm. I promise to you... that my moment would be my moment. This is it."

They both smiles at each other before Lucas reaches for his jacket pocket and pulls out a ring box and says, "Ah, I got you this"

Riley shouts, "Maya"

Lucas immediately opens the box, showing it to Riley and says, "It's a jellybean"

Riley shouts to Maya, "Stay where you are"

She then turns to Lucas and asks, "What does it mean?"

Lucas explains, "We put these jelly beans on a scale... when I was trying to think about all of the things that I like about you, and I was trying to decide what I needed to do. It means you, Riley. I choose you, and I really want you to choose me."

Riley takes the box and replies, "I do… I always did. I have something for you, too"

Lucas looks slightly confused and asks, "You do?"

Riley pulls out the leaf she had found on the bay window the previous day and shows it to Lucas before explaining, "We have this one little life... and for a lot of it, we just blow around in the wind. But if we're lucky... and we believe that life knows what's best for us... sometimes we land on the right someone to talk to."

Riley then gives the leaf to Lucas and says, "I'm glad I fell into your lap"

Lucas shoes her the leaf and replies, "So am I"

-Flashback-

Lucas says, "That was a wonderful day"

Riley replies, "I'm really glad that you finally had your moment after everything"

Zay interrupts, "Alright now, how about we talk about the ongoing wedding plans?"

Lucas asks, "Sure, what about them?"

Zay replies, "What all is done from your list? I want to know the current status of your wedding planning."

Riley replies, "Well, Lucas and I have finalised the wedding invitations and the flowers this week. Maya is helping me with the wedding favours and Lucas is planning our honeymoon on his own."

Zay asks, "So Luke, where do you plan to take your future wife for your honeymoon?"

Lucas replies, "I can't reveal the place because it's supposed to be a surprise for Riley. All I will say is that it's a place I kind of promised to take Riley back in seventh grade."

Maya makes gagging sounds in the background.

Riley says, "That doesn't really help me because I don't remember having a conversation about honeymoon destinations"

Maya sarcastically asks, "The front of your notebook was full of 'Riley heart Lucas 4-ever' and you guys still never had such a conversation?"

Riley exclaims, "Maya"

Lucas chuckles and replies, "To answer your question Maya, we didn't have such a conversation. However, we did have a conversation about a place that I hoped to go with Riley someday."

Riley asks, "Why do I not remember this conversation?"

Lucas nonchalantly replies, "Probably because you never really understood what I had said back then"

Riley asks, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Lucas replies, "I'm not saying anything else because I really don't want to ruin the surprise. So I'm sorry Miss Matthews, but it looks like you're going to have to wait until our wedding day to know about your honeymoon location."

Riley sighs in defeat and says, "Fine"

Zay interjects, "Alright, I think we're getting off topic now. Now what are your plans for the bachelor and bachelorette parties?"

Riley replies, "Well, personally I would prefer to have a simple bridal shower with my close family and friends instead of a crazy bachelorette party"

Lucas adds, "Yeah, I also don't want a crazy out of control bachelor party. I'm fine just spending some quiet time with my buddies."

Zay exasperatedly asks, "What is wrong with you guys? Don't you want to say goodbye to your singlehood in style?"

Farkle replies, "Zay, I hate to say this but these two haven't exactly been single in a really long time. It's always been Lucas and Riley even before they officially got together at the Mount Sun Lodge."

Smackle adds, "Zay, I'm with Farkle on this one. I mean I would have been surprised if either of them had asked for a proper bachelor or bachelorette party."

Josh comments, "You know what I find weird. Mount Sun Lodge is the place because of which Topanga and Cory were almost done for good. The same ski lodge also happens to be the place where Lucas and Riley finally got together after everything they had to go through."

Riley says, "Huh… I never really noticed that before"

Lucas adds, "Well, we aren't Cory and Topanga. I mean no one can compete with that."

Josh replies, "That's true. Those two are a different level of crazy. But I think you both are a close second to them."

Maya adds, "I agree with Josh. You two are no less crazy than Cory and Topanga. I mean who finds their soulmate in middle school."

Josh retorts, "You do know that Cory and Topanga have been together since the day they were born, right?"

Maya replies, "Tomato potato"

Farkle says, "I think you mean Tomato tomahto"

Maya remarks, "Well, not everyone can be a genius like you Farkle"

Maya's remark makes everyone laugh, while Farkle pouts with Smackle trying to console her pouting boyfriend.

The gang hangs out for some time before the boys all leave after bidding their girls good night.
