22 weeks pregnant. 18 weeks to go. My stomach was twice the size of a normal mother at 22 weeks, mainly because I was carrying twins but also because it wasn't my first pregnancy. Arizona and I were finally wrapping our head around the concept of having a child with Down Syndrome and had done plenty of research to familiarise ourselves with how to deal with a child with DS, not just medically but maternally too.
The alarm went off at 4:30am. I felt Arizona stirr in her sleep before she turned off her alarm and rolled over, her arm falling over my very pregnant belly, her body shuffling closer to mine.
"Don't fall back asleep," I murmured sleepily as I rested my hand on her hand and we drifted back to sleep.
The alarm went off again, this time at 4:45am. Arizona stirred again, switching off the alarm and burying her head into the side of my body, "I don't want to leave you," she grumbled before finally rolling over to her side of the bed and sitting up. Arizona grabbed her leg and started fitting herself.
"I'll be in after I drop Sof off at school," I said as I turned my head to watch Arizona.
"Is Sof still going over to Zola's tonight?" Arizona asked as she fitted her leg successfully.
"Yeah, Meredith is going to take both the girls to school tomorrow and I said i'd pick them both up," I explained, my voice groggy from just waking up.
"Well i'll see you tonight then for some mama and mummy time," Arizona said as she leant over and kissed my lips then moved down to my belly. "Be nice to mummy today," she said before she kissed my bare belly her hand gently moving over the sensitive skin.
"I love you," I said as I watched Arizona stand up off the bed.
"Right back at ya sexy mama. Give Sof a kiss for me," she said as she walked out of the bedroom to get ready in the lounge.
I never went back to sleep until I heard the front door close, I loved listening to Arizona potter around the lounge and go about her morning routine. When the door finally shut I finally drifted off to sleep only waking again when my alarm went off at 7am. I was well rested by time my alarm went off and with a bit of effort I swung myself out of bed and went to put on a brew of coffee. Moving around was starting to get harder, it took me double the time it usually did to do anything and putting my shoes on was becoming a real problem. After my coffee brewed I went upstairs to wake Sofia up. When I arrived up stairs Sofia was already up and dressed in her school uniform. In the last month Sofia had decided she was no longer a child and instead an adult, I loved the part of it that meant she got herself ready but I hated the part of it that thought she could do anything.
"You are nothing like your mama in the morning," I teased as I sipped my coffee.
"Mum should I pack my bag for Zola's house too or is Mama going to drop my clothes off?" Sofia asked as she rifled through her draws looking for clothes. 7 going on 22 at this point.
"Pack everything you need, Mama and I are working," I explained to her. "Don't forget to pack your toothbrush and when you're done, come down and get some breakfast," I instructed before walking back into the kitchen and started preparing a bowl of cereal for Sofia and myself.
"Mum, you need to sign my homework off because Mama forgot to," Sofia said as she barged into the kitchen her school bag hanging from her shoulder and her shoes only partially on.
"Did you do your reading?" I asked as I place Sofia's cereal in front of the stool she frequently sat on.
"Yes, I read two books," she said as she placed her homework book onto the kitchen island.
"What about your spelling, did mama check your spelling?" I asked as I grabbed my cereal and walked around the island, sitting down beside Sofia's homework book. I opened the book and I glanced through the final two pages, checking to see if she had in fact done her homework.
"Mama checked my spelling twice but she didn't write it down, she always forgets," Sofia grumbled as she climbed onto her chair and started to eat her breakfast.
"I'll sign it. This week I'll do your homework with you. Mama is quite busy at work," I explained as I grabbed a pen from the bench and I quickly signed the relevant paperwork before returning to my breakfast.
The rest of the morning was pretty routine. I loaded the dishwasher, made Sofia lunch, double checked her school bag and overnight bag and topped them both up with the things she had forgotten. I put on a load of washing and ironed Arizona's blouse all before 8:30 when Sofia hurried me out of the house insisting she was going to be late. I pulled into Sofia's school at 8:45am, still 15 minutes early for the bell. "Have a good day at school sweetheart, remember you're going home with Zola and Bailey tonight, Aunt Meredith will be here to pick you up. I love you and I will see you tomorrow," I called out after her but she appeared to be too caught up with her friends to hear me. When did Sofia get so big, it felt like only two months ago she was our little baby, now she was this independent girl who got herself ready for school.
I watched Sofia drift into school with her friends before I drove off in the direction of the hospital.
On my way to the hospital there appeared to be something stopping the flow of traffic. I was too far away to see exactly what was going on but close enough to know it looked like an accident. I turned off my car and got out of my car like many others did, "Hey, what's going on up there?" I asked the gentleman in front of me.
"An accident. Head on collision," he said simply his eyes reverting back towards the accident.
I slowly started walking towards the scene, the closer I got the quicker I walked. "MAIM" a police officer called as he stood in front of me to stop me moving any closer.
"I'm a doctor at Grey Sloan Memorial, is there anything I can do to help?" I asked frantically my eyes locked on the scene as they pulled a mangled body out of the car.
The officer lifted the rope, I took that as a yes. I ducked under the rope and beelined to the woman on a stretcher. As I got closer I started to recognize the face of the woman who lay unconscious and badly bruised on the stretcher; Lauren Boswell, arguably, the reason Arizona and I divorced. The woman who lay on the stretcher didn't change the fact she needed a doctor, I took an oath to protect and even though I hated this woman, I took a vow to save her and anybody else in her position.
"How long has she been unconscious for?" I asked as I wrapped my fingers around her neck to check her pulse; only just visible.
"Police arrived on scene 5 minutes ago. She has been out since we got here," an officer said.
"How long on the ambulance, this woman needs to be in a hospital," I said urgently as I started looking at her wounds which included seriously crushed legs that would need blood flow restored in the next half an hour.
"Ambulance is 2 minutes out maim," an officer responded.
"Do we have wraps, towels, anything that I can bind these wounds together with," I said urgently. Lauren was bleeding out and in 2 minutes I didn't think there would be anybody to save.
One of the younger officers removed his shirt without a second thought. I grabbed it off him eagerly and pushed it onto Lauren's bleeding abdomen. "Belt, anybody have a belt?" I asked as I held out my hand, my other hand holding the shirt tightly in place. The same gentleman removed his black belt swiftly and handed it over. I slipped it under Laurens body and tightened it around her body, not enough to hurt her but enough to hold the shirt in place and hopefully slow down the bleeding. There wasn't much more I could do without some medical supplies, all I had to do now was wait for the ambulance and hope and pray she would make it to the hospital alive.
I heard the ambulance round the corner and quickly pull up onto the scene. Darren the paramedic stepped out gloving his hands as he climbed from the vehicle. "Dr Torres," he said as he opened the doors of the ambulance and pulled out a board and a basic paramedic kit.
"Severe abdominal injuries, both legs are severely crushed, a handful of broken bones and likely a head injury," I rattled off as we both slid the board beneath Lauren's back. The officers noted my pregnancy and stepped in to help load her onto the ambulance.
"You riding with us Dr Torres?" he asked as he closed the first door of the ambulance.
"We will bring your car maim," the half naked officer said kindly. I nodded towards Darren, jumped into the back of the ambulance tossing my car keys to the kind officer, "black SUV about 10 cars back," I said before the door was closed behind me and the vehicle started moving. I got straight to work. I grabbed the nearest stethoscope and attempted to listen to her breathing over top of the sound of the ambulance, her breathing was slightly irregular which was to be expected but her fading heart rate was becoming the bigger issue. "She is going to go into cardiac arrest soon," I called. I felt the ambulance speed up in attempt to get us to the hospital faster but it wasn't much good. As soon as I felt her pulse drop off I prepared the crash cart and I charged it to 150 before shocking Lauren. I checked for a pulse, she was back but it was weak. Lauren coded another two times before we finally arrived at the hospital. Darren and I wheeled her off the back of the ambulance and into the emergency room.
"Dr Lauren Boswell, 33 years old, head on collision, other guys dead at the scene. She needs a full work up. She has at least 7 broken bones not including her crushed legs, you need to page Grey as soon as possible, her stomach is hanging out. She is in bad shape," I said breathlessly as I wheeled her into the ER waiting for further directions, "Bed 5," Kepner called with authority.
Darren and I wheeled her into bed 5 and before we could even put the breaks on the gurney, Kepner and I had set to work on stabilizing her. "Push one of epi, she is crashing again," I yelled over the beeping. A nurse pushed thtough and pushed one of epi, I grabbed the crash cart in preparation to shock her for a fourth time. "Charge to 200, clear," I called loudly before I shocked her, "We are good," I said before putting the paddles back onto the crash cart and getting back to stopping the bleeding in her abdomen. We couldn't even think about tending to her broken bones, her crushed legs or her head injuries until we stopped her from bleeding out.
"I got it," Kepner said as she grabbed one of the main sources of the bleeding and clipped it. "You," Kepner yelled at an intern, "Get her up to OR 3 now. I'll call Grey and Shepherd," April mumbled to me as she ran off. I stood there, my entire body covered in blood of the woman that shagged my wife yet right now that was the furthest thing from my mind.
I half washed my hands with a towel from the ER before hurrying up stairs to scrub into surgery. On my way I found Arizona aimlessly walking down the hall looking a whole lot less stressed than I looked right now, "Callie, what's going on?" she asked me curiously.
I didn't really have time to stop so I replied as I continued to walk away, "Accident on the way to work, I'm okay. I came with the ambulance," I said quickly, forgetting completely to mention who the patient was. It wasn't that I worried about telling her, it was more because I was so worried about Lauren's status that I didn't stop to think about the aftermath. I continued towards the OR, scrubbing in a hurry, pulling my cap and gown on before getting into the OR room.
"You sure you're good to scrub in?" April asked as a nurse fitted her head with a head lamp.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said as I pulled my gloves on and waited for a nurse to fit my head with a head lamp.
"Shepherd is going to bring down the portable CT machine, I'll start on the abdomen, Grey will assist when she gets out of her surgery. You get to work on those legs," April instructed and that is exactly what we did.
The surgery was long and tiring, the interns fed us water and occasionally fed us food whenever we required it. Four of the hospitals best surgeons worked for 13 hours, stopping only to go toilet before finally dealing to some of the immediate problems. April closed Lauren up and the interns wheeled her up to the ICU, there was no guarantee she was going to make it. Between the brain bleed, the damage to the large intestines, the excessive bleeding and the severe damage to the lower limbs it would be a miracle if she lived. I had put rods into Laurens legs to hold the bone straight, it wasn't a long term fix but it would give her a good start in the healing process. The goal was to reexamine her legs when she got a big stronger; if she got a bit stronger.
When I got into the attendings lounge Arizona was sitting on the couch fiddling with her wedding ring, a sure sign that she was worried. "How is she?" Arizona asked as she saw me walk through the door.
"We won't know till morning, I'm going to stay at the hospital tonight and monitor her vitals," I said as I hugged Arizona, knowing that she was upset. Arizona sunk into my hug, she was relieved that I wasn't mad. I had come to terms with Arizona's past indiscretions and I knew with all my heart that the healthy, happy, Arizona that I knew and loved would never cheat on me again.
"I heard it was a drunk driver," Arizona said as she pulled back from me.
"Yeah, he died at the scene," I said with a large sigh escaping my lips.
"What are her chances?" Arizona asked as she sat down on the couch, motioning for me to sit beside her.
"Honestly," I said as I sat down my hand resting lightly on Arizona's quad, "Not good. I'll be surprised if she makes it through the night," I admitted. "Does she have any family?" I asked curiously.
Arizona shrugged as she looked at me, "Sorry," she whispered.
I shook my head, "Don't be sorry," I said. "You and I have moved passed this." My words were stern, it was almost like I was trying to convince myself of what I was saying.
Throughout the night Lauren only coded once and for a second I didn't think I would get her back. By morning Lauren's vitals were more stable and her legs were beginning to pink up which was a fantastic sign. I walked the wards all night, taking a nap for a couple of hours between 2 and 4 while April was around to replace me.
The nurses had found all the information there was on Lauren Boswell. Orphan, both her parents died in a house fire when she was 10. She was married to a woman named Sarah Boswell who died of pancreatic cancer. She had no brothers or sisters and her next of kin was one of her old college professors. From what I could see, Lauren had nobody to call family.
I was doing morning rounds with a handful of interns when Meredith appeared in the doorway of one of my patients rooms, "Dr Torres, Lauren Boswell has just woken up," Meredith said a smile forming on her lips. It was a miracle.
"Excuse me Mr Eden, I will be right back," I said as I exited the room, my tail of interns following closely behind me. "What are her stats?" I asked.
Meredith handed me her chart and I looked them over before handing it back to her, "somebody prayed real hard for her," I said as I rounded the corner and entered Lauren's room. The interns followed. I stopped and turned around, shooing them out of the room, "Go, go do something useful with your time," I barked causing the interns to scatter away from the room.
"Don't try and speak, we had problems putting a breathing tube down your throat because of the blood and the swelling, your throat will hurt for a while," I said as I approached the machine that controlled all of her vitals and I clicked through to check her medications and her current vital signs.
Lauren lay still, her eyes falling shut then flickering open like clock work. The medication was no doubt making her drowsy but the pain was keeping her awake. "I'm going to give you some more morphine to help you sleep, your body needs rest," I explained to her as I grabbed a vile of morphine from the cart, pushed the needle into the vile and sucked out the morphine. Lauren's eyes fell on me and for a second my eyes met hers; she seemed sad and lonely. I injected the morphine into Laurens drip, disposed of the vile and watched as she slowly drifted back into her slumber.
"I heard her vitals are good," April said as she approached Lauren's bedside her hands lifting up the blanket to examine the tissue surrounding the bandaging. "She is lucky," April murmured before laying the sheet back over her.
"I'll send one of the residents in to change her bandages," I said as I dug my hands into the pockets of my coat and walked out beside April.
"Do you think it's weird Arizona hasn't come up to see her?" I asked aimlessly, "Or is it weird that I thought she would?" I added.
"I think she is probably being respectful of you. I wouldn't want my hypothetical husband spending time with a woman he cheated on me with," April admitted.
"That makes it sound bad," I said scrunching up my nose at April's words.
"I don't think it makes you a bad person to not like her, I think it makes you a good person that you don't like her, yet you've worked over 24 hours while pregnant just to make sure she stays alive," April said, her words finally starting to convince me.
"I just wish I knew why you know. I almost kind of get why Arizona did it but I just feel like she took advantage of my vulnerable wife," I said before shaking my head, "she is on her death bed at the moment, I shouldn't be so caught up in this," I muttered to myself.
"She isn't dying Callie, she is living," April said proudly, "now go and take care of yourself, you're pregnant remember," she reminded me, "I'll stay with her through the night,' April promised before peeling off in another direction.
I got home at about 11am and I fell asleep almost immediately. Sofia was at school, Arizona was at work and I had an entire day to catch up on some well needed sleep. Bailey had offered to pick up Sofia and take her to the hospital until Arizona finished work. The two women arrived home just after 6 with a couple of pizza's that Arizona had picked up on her way home.
"How is Lauren?" I asked curiously.
"I don't know," Arizona admitted as she lay the pizza's out on the table. "Sof, go wash your hands," Arizona muttered.
"I'll call April," I said as I grabbed my phone and dialed April's number.
"What?" she answered abruptly. She seemed busy in the background.
"How are Lauren's vitals?" I asked her curiously.
"Good, stable, she is eating small amounts of liquid food. She is fine," April answered, "Torres, I have to go. My patient just coded," she explained as she hung up.
"How is she?" Arizona asked cautiously as she handed me a plate of pizza.
"Good. Awake and eating," I answered as I took the plate. "Thanks," I said as I sat up to the table just as Sofia ran back into the kitchen.
"One would think you don't get fed," Arizona joked as she handed Sofia her plate of pizza before taking a bite of her own pizza.
"How was school sweetheart?" I asked between bites.
Sofia shrugged, "good," she muttered like she always did before she dug into her dinner.
"Did you tell Mama about your homework?" I asked her.
"What about your homework?" Arizona asked.
"Well Mama, you have been a bad homework parent and keep forgetting to sign of her homework," I said with a smile coiling in the corner of my lips.
"Sofia, you need to remind me. I get busy," Arizona defended.
"I always forget to do the homework and you always forget to mark it off, together it all gets done," I said as I extended my arm and ran it over Arizona's back. We hadn't really talked since the sudden arrival of Lauren Boswell but I wanted Arizona to know everything was okay and short of saying that, I didn't quite know how to reassure her.
After dinner I put Sofia into the shower and lay her pyjamas out on her bed. "Make sure you wash all your body," I called from outside the bathroom.
"I'm seven Mum," Sofia sassed back causing me to roll my eyes.
I walked back through to the lounge where Arizona was folding a laundry basket of clothes, "Your daughter is starting to get sassy," I said as I picked up a towel and started helping.
"She gets that from you my love," Arizona said with a cheeky smile gracing her lips as she peered over at me. "Are you okay?" she asked curiously.
"Yeah, that sleep really helped," I responded thoughtlessly.
"I meant about Lauren," she said her eyes settling back on the t-shirt she was folding.
"I'm trying to be cool about it," I admitted as I shot Arizona a reassuring smile.
"You are being very cool about it," Arizona admitted.
"I'm sorry I missed last night," I said as Sofia walked out into the room with her towel wrapped around her.
"Did I tell you what happened at school today?" Sofia said excitedly. Sofia had a bad habit of walking around post shower, water dripping from her hair onto the carpet.
"Go put some clothes on," Arizona snapped.
"But I just want to tell you one story," she grumbled in response.
"Sofia," Arizona said in a warning tone.
"Fine," she said as she walked off sulking.
"She gets that bottom lip from you," Arizona remarked.
"Sofia as a teenager, I'm not even sure how we will cope," I responded with a light chuckle escaping my lips.
I folded the last item of clothing and I piled them neatly back into the basket so I could distribute them around the house later.
"I'm going to take a shower. I stink of spew," Arizona said vividly.
"Why don't you wait," I suggested slyly.
Arizona stopped at the hallway and turned around, her bright blue eyes sparking as she spoke, "are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting Dr Torres."
I shrugged just as Sofia walked back into the room, this time wearing her pyjamas, "Maybe," I teased. "What happened at school today Sof? I asked Sofia but she appeared to be giving the pair of us the silent treatment.
"Sofia you don't get to wet our carpets then get angry because we tell you to put clothes on," Arizona warned.
"You never listen," she grumbled as she filled up her lunch box water bottle and put it in the fridge like she was meant too.
"We are listening now," Arizona said calmly. This whole situation could easily be taken out of control but it was getting late and the last thing any of us felt like doing was having a screaming match with a 7 year old who thinks she is a teenager.
"It's not even important," Sofia sulked.
"Of course it is," I piped up. "Come here," I said as I extended my arms. She seemed reluctant at first but eventually she walked into my arms. "We want to hear all about your day baby girl but after you put your clothes on. We don't want the carpets to get wet and we don't want you to get a cold," I explained.
"Mr James let us watch a movie in class," she said, her bottom lip still sagging.
"What?" Arizona said over exaggerating her words for effect. "Schools not meant to be fun," she added.
A small smile formed on the little girls face but she tried to hide it with her frown.
"What did you watch?" I asked her, my arms wrapped around her small body as she spoke.
"Frozen," she said boastfully.
"NOT MY FAVOURITE MOVIE," Arizona shrieked as she ran over to us and tickled Sofia causing her to laugh that intoxicating laugh that Arizona and I loved so much.
"Yes your favourite movie," the small girl laughed as she fell onto the floor, Arizona still attacking her with tickles. "I'm going to watch it without you again," Sofia teased.
"No you won't," Arizona said as she continued to tickle her.
Sofia laughed so hard her body rolling over the floor her arms swiping at Arizona as Arizona tickled her until she could barely speak. "Stop mama, I need to pee," the little girl managed to say.
"Fine but if you watch it without me again I'm going to get you," Arizona responded playfully, "go to the toilet," she reminded her causing Sofia to stand up and run off to the bathroom.
I put my hand out and I took Arizona's. I pulled her in between my legs as I sat on the stool at the kitchen island. "I'll put her to bed" I whispered my eyes peering up into Arizona's bright blue, intoxicating eyes.
"I'll wait for you in the shower," Arizona responded before she leant down and kissed my lips lovingly.
"Go say goodnight to her on your way up," I asked her.
Arizona nodded before she kissed me again, "of course," she replied before walking towards Sofia's room.
Sofia was brushing her teeth in the bathroom when Arizona passed through the hallway, "oi missy," Arizona said as she leant up against the doorway of the bathroom, "bedtime after that," she stated.
"Can you read me a book?" she asked me as toothpaste oozed out the side of her mouth.
"Mum will read you a book. I smell of work," Arizona informed her. "I love you and I will see you in the morning," she said as she kissed the small girl on the head.
"Love you too Mama," she said after spitting her mouthful of toothpaste down the drain, rinsing her brush and putting it back into its holder.
I wandered towards Sofia's room after locking the front door and closing the curtains in the lounge. Sofia was just climbing into bed when I appeared in her doorway, "Hey little monkey," I said as I watched Sofia reach for her book. I walked into the bedroom further, grabbed the book and climbed up onto the bed, "One book then you have to go to bed, Aunt Meredith told me you had a late night last night," I stated. Sofia nodded and she snuggled into my side as I read elves and the shoemakers for what felt like the 100th time this week alone, I knew the entire book off by heart at this point.
After I read the book I slipped off the bed and I put the book back onto her bookshelf.
"Mum, can I read that book to my brothers when they are born?" Sofia asked as she sunk into her bed.
"Of course you can sweetie, I think the boys will love that," I said as I tucked Sofia into her bed and kissed her goodnight, "goodnight my darling, go to sleep," I said seriously as I walked out of the room, switching the light off and closing the door behind me, leaving only the smallest gap in the door so light from the hallway night light could peer into her room.
I arrived in our bedroom, closing the door behind me before I carried on through to the bathroom.
"Hopefully she will fall asleep soon, she looked pretty tired," I said as I kicked off my shoes and started to take my clothes off.
"She was definitely tired, the girl nearly had a melt down over putting clothes on," Arizona called over the sound of the shower.
"Thanks for not starting a fight," I said as I took my undies off and opened the door to the shower.
"Tactical thinking, a fight would have meant she would have worked herself up and taken forever to go to sleep and you would have been mad at me for keeping her up so I wouldn't get to do this," Arizona smirked as she pulled me closer to her, "God you are the most beautiful pregnant woman ever to walk this planet," Arizona said as she looked me up and down.
"You weren't like this last time" I observed as I felt Arizona's hand rest on either side of my belly.
"I love Sofia, I LOVE HER" Arizona stressed, "but there is something incredibly sexy about the fact you are carrying my genes inside of you," she smiled, "something very sexy," she repeated as she moved me back against the shower wall.
"Sofia isn't asleep yet," I reminded her knowing exactly what she was thinking.
"Guess you will have to be quiet then," she said as she took my breasts in her hands, "What do they feel like?" she asked curiously.
"Raw," I admitted, "like I'm carrying around bottles of milk but the feeling is so much more than that. I can feel everything," I explained to her. "Sometimes when I'm at work the aircon makes my nipples erect because of how sensitive they are."
Arizona bobbed her head slightly and took one of my nipples in her mouth, her eyes watching me for a reaction as she sucked my breast. Part of me felt the pain of her mouth wrapped around my breast, the other felt the pleasure.
"Go down," I instructed.
Arizona smirked and kissed down my body, the water from the shower sprinkling us both as Arizona explored my new body. "Down here?" Arizona questioned playfully as she kissed all around my vagina teasing me.
"I imagine this is what blue balls feels like to men," I said as I held my hands tight in a fist to stop myself from moaning. I had to remind myself constantly that our daughter was only down the hall and likely wasn't asleep yet.
Arizona got the hint and instead of teasing me, she set to work, her tongue sucking my clit as her finger tapped at my entrance. That was all it took for me to organsm, my entire body shuddering against the wall, my own arm stuffed in my mouth to mask the sounds of pleasure. Being pregnant made me horny all the time and every orgasm felt like the best orgasm I ever had.
"Wow," Arizona whispered against my lips as she kissed my bottom lip.
"Do you think the babies know what's happening?" I asked between tireless breaths.
Arizona shook her head as she pushed her body hard against mine her knee moving into my vagina to help maintain the tingle between my legs.
"Did I tell you I had a dream today," I whispered against Arizona's lips as I breathed through the pleasure between my legs.
"What about?" she asked curiously as she slowly began nibbling on my ear which was making me horny all over again.
"I dreamt that…" I stopped as my breathing increased and my lust for sex grew away. "Can we go to bed," I said before hungrily kissing Arizona's lips. Arizona reached behind her and turned the shower off while she slipped her tongue into my mouth and kissed me. "Come," I said as I lead her out of the shower.
"You're not getting into our bed wet Calliope," Arizona said as she reached for a towel.
"The sheets are only going to get wet anyway," I attempted to reason with her.
Arizona wiped herself down then began wiping me down, her hands exploring my body with the purpose of more than just drying me.
"You are so sensitive to touch," she said as she leant down and dried between my legs. I closed my eyes and I spread my legs, pleasure spreading across my body with every touch.
"I love being pregnant," I whispered airlessly between breaths.
Arizona threw the towel aside and kissed my belly before standing to full height and kissing my lips. Arizona lead me through to the bedroom and sat me down on the bed, "lie down," she instructed me and I listened. Arizona climbed on top of me, my hands instinctively falling to her waist while we found one another's lips.
I slipped my tongue into her mouth and I hungrily explored her mouth like it was the first time I was doing so. I felt Arizona slowly move against my body, our vaginas rubbing against one aother in search of another orgasm. We moved against each other for a good long while, the feeling between both our legs brewing, sweat dripping from our bodies as we both increased the pace. This was as close to good honest sex as it came for girls in my opinion, it felt incredible to move against Arizona's body the way that I was.
"I'm close," Arizona said as she buried her face in my breasts and thrusted her body against mine quicker and quicker. I was ready to fall victim to an orgasm at any time, I had been focusing on my body and forcing myself to wait until Arizona was ready. I could tell she was enjoying herself, her whole body moving on top of mine like a horny teenager having sex for the first time.
"I'm going to come," she whimpered against my body. I had to drive my body upward to ignite the feeling of lust between my legs again, I rubbed quickly against her and her against me. I felt Arizona fell weak against my body but she continued to jolt against me with any left over energy so my body could fall against hers with pleasure. Both our bodies fell still, pulses of pleasure running between us. The only sound filling the room was the sound of our heavy, fast paced breathing. Nothing quite beat having sex pregnant even if it felt a bit unbalanced.
After sex Arizona wrapped herself in her dressing gown and went out into the kitchen to grab a water bottle for us to share. When she returned I was lying on my back my hand resting under my bump as if to check the babies were okay.
"God you're beautiful," Arizona said as she leant over and kissed my belly.
"Do you know what I love?" I said as I watched Arizona take a drink from the water bottle.
"What?" she asked between drinks.
"I love that you sincerely find me so beautiful when you my darling are the true beauty. You are blonde, everybody loves blondes, you have the most gorgeous eyes anybody has seen and don't even get me started on these," I said as I wrapped my hands around Arizona's breasts, "beautiful," I repeated.
"Well you like me and I like you," Arizona said as she leant down and kissed me, "guess that's why you're having my babies," she said with a proud grin.
"You like saying that don't you?" I asked.
Arizona nodded as she handed me the drink bottle and I took a large drink before resting the bottle on the side table beside me. Arizona sunk into the bed, propped herself up on her side and looked at me. "What were you saying in the shower?" Arizona asked as she rested her hand on the top of my belly.
"I forgot," I said. My thoughts about anything that was said while we were having sex was out the window.
"You said something about a dream," Arizona reminded me.
"It was kind of a heat of the moment thing," I laughed nervously, "It would be weird if I told you now," I said as I tilted my head to look towards Arizona.
"Tell me," Arizona begged.
"I already know you won't like it," I admitted.
Arizona shrugged, "so," she said. "Tell me," she repeated.
I thought about it for a second before I looked back up at the ceiling, "I keep having weird sex dreams. Meredith says it's normal. She said she used to wake Derek in the middle of the night for sex," I half chuckled. "I just had a dream today about us," I said shyly.
"What were we doing?" Arizona asked curiously as her fingers trailed down my belly.
"I was fucking you," I admitted, my eyes glanced over to Arizona's to see her reaction. "Like I had a penis and I was fucking you." I covered my eyes and I shook my head, I was embarrassed. "I told you it was stupid," I laughed to cover my embarrassment.
Arizona dropped her hand from my belly and lay there her eyes looking my face over as she thought. "Do you think about that often? I know it's not the first time you've brought it up" Arizona said.
"I've thought about it before," I admitted as I let my hands fall. "I know you don't want too, it's just a dream," I said as I tried to end the conversation by slipping beneath the covers.
Arizona slipped into bed too, her arms resting behind her head as she steered up at the ceiling. "I've done a lot of things but I've never had a penis or a penis like object inside of me," she blurted out, her eyes staying locked on the ceiling.
"And you don't have too. We have great sex," I whispered as I lay my hand over Arizona's petite body.
"Maybe we should try one day," Arizona said as she finally settled her eyes on mine.
I shook my head, "I don't want to," I said. "We have great fucken sex, we don't need a penis for that. We proved that tonight, twice," I said as I leant forward and kissed Arizona's lips, "I love the way you love me," I whispered against her lips.
The idea of taking Arizona's penis virginity was something that had occupied my mind before but I also knew how much the whole idea scared her and as much as I dreamed of such a moment, putting Arizona so far out of her comfort zone wasn't something I was happy to do.
Arizona and I drifted off to sleep, each to our own side because of how hot I was thanks to another wonderful pregnancy symptom. Every now and then Arizona would roll over and out of habit her arm would flop over my naked body. Those were my favourite parts about sharing a bed with Arizona, even when she was asleep her first instinct was to look for me.
