First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me more inspiration to work on the next chapter, which you are about to read on below. I promise you that this chapter will keep you glued as the story is now underway.

Last chapter showed you what Auma was doing the entire time, distributing a lot of magical items to various, human villains across the globe, and managed to gain their services, so now you get to see what effects it can cause to the human world and what Auma is about to do as he begins his scheme to overthrow the current rulers of japan, as well as getting revenge on the West.

Taiki and the gang returns and are about to be embroiled in this misadventure and dangers Auma posed to this story.

Well, that's the summary I can tell you right now, but you'll soon see where this would lead to, so here is the second chapter, so read and enjoy!

Ch. 5 - Kyōto no Toraburu

In less than half a month, the unprecedented incidents have taken place after Auma distributed the Wizardriver belts and magic rings to every individuals he met from across the globe, and the "damage" he indirectly inflicted to the nations have began to be felt, first from the south American continent where some of the countries from South America made waves on TV news, and this caught many citizens abroad by surprise once they have seen the footage, including the ones that went viral on the internet.

The first viral footage shows that the tribal wars within Peru has escalated,and amateur videoes shows that the tribal warriors from Inca are using their "magical weapons" to take down their rival tribes, resulting in a bloody mess and battle.

Another footage from the internet shows that the guillera rebel soldiers are brandishing their Wizardriver belts and using their magic rings to defeat, kill and maim the government forces, and this made a lot of debate on what to think of this. Then another footage appeared on the internet, and this time it showed that terrorists are also brandishing their "magical weapons" and made short work of government troops, and rumors persists that these footage came from the Middle East, said to be that of Libya, Syria and Afghanistan.

Another viral footage spread on the internet, this time it showed rival groups sporting Wizardriver belts and magic rings, and are on a midst of civil war within the African continent, and many casualties abound, while survivors managed to film them and sent them across the globe via internet. While international authorities, such as the FBI, CIA and the Interpol are in doubt about this and tries to gather more information to confirm about the viral videos, believing that the terrorists are using "cheap tricks" just to hide their "modus operandi".

However, terrorists who were given the Wizardriver and magic rings began their attack on their enemies, and soon terror struck as one of them uses it to cause monumental structures, such as the Empire States Building to explode and collapse, killing many innocent people, then another attack struck the Pentagon and oil refinery plants, and even a gas pipeline that caused major damage and deaths.

In London, the famed "Big Ben" was "uprooted" when one of the terrorists uses the "GRAVITY Ring" and caused it to crash onto the London Bridge, killing and injuring several people, and soon an explosion rocked Buckingham Palace, where horrified rescuers find the Royal Family among those who perished, throwing England in chaos, in which the senate building was also rocked by explosion, killing majority of the senators and congressmen. Amid the ruin, a terrorist walked by unnoticed, sporting a Wizardriver and magic ring, along with a wicked smile.

At the Digimon World, Auma was laughing diabolically at seeing how his "pawns" are doing the "dirty work" for him as he ism pleased that two of the "Allied Powers" who are responsible for Japan's defeat at the end of World War II are slowly being overwhelmed, and this was just the start as he has more plans for Japan, while glancing at his prisoner, the Prince of Japan, who is now under Auma's brainwashing and is now about to do Auma's bidding.

At Kyoto, the scene shifts to Shinonome High, at the computer room, where the students are watching the viral footage on the internet, and Taiki is concerned about the wave of incidents happening across the globe, and confided this to Tagiru and Yuu, and the trio went to the rooftop to discus this and are debating on whether Digimons are involved or not, with Taiki suggesting to ask Shoutmon's help in conducting an investigation, which Yuu agrees on.

"This is bad..."

"And very bizarre that these happened across the globe in record time..."

"I sense that someone is involved..."

"You think Digimons are behind the wave of attacks?"

"Mys suspicions exactly. Taiki?"

"Yes...it's likely that Digimons may be involved...but i didn't think this might be the case considering what went on in Kyoto recently..."

"So should we be ready for anything?"

"Yeah...that may be the best way..."

"Then it's settled."

By then the bell rang as the afternoon classes is about to commence, and the trio went back to their respective classrooms.

After classes, Taiki, Yuu and Tagiru met at a nearby snack bar to discuss about the incidents happening worldwide, while Tagiru bought a newspaper which shows that the authorities are still searching for the missing emperor's son, in which Yuu suggests that this may be more than just a coincidence, and is mulling the idea to ask the Clock Shop Owner for details, believing that a Digimon may be involved in the recent events.

"So the Emperor's son went missing..."

"And so far, no ransom is being made..."

"Guys...do you suppose that this might be connected to..."

"It's too early to speculate, Tagiru..."

"Yuu's right."

"Then...what now?"

"We wait."

"And see what situation would turn out..."

"..."

While the Xros Heart members are talking, they got an unexpected visit from their friends, notably, Akari Hinomoto and Zenjiro Tsurugi, and there they told the trio that they saw several individuals are sporting "strange belts with hand symbols" all over Kyoto, and they appeared to be the same as the ones they saw on the internet videos that went viral, and this made Taiki looked concerned after hearing this from his two friends.

"Taiki! Yuu! Tagiru!"

"Yo, you trio!"

"Akari! Zenjirou!"

"Ah, you two!"

"Glad we found you guys!"

"We got scoop for you! Look at these!"

"Huh? Those belts..."

"They're the same ones we saw on the internet videos!"

"Taiki...Yuu...Akari...Zenjirou...I have a bad feeling about this...this may be a bit farfetched but...what if..."

By then Ryouma Mogami arrived and overheard the conversation and decided to join them as he is set to meet with his friends Ren Tobari and Airu Suzaki, as he too is somewhat worried about the chain of events and about the belts that the individuals are wearing, but then he got a surprise as Ren and Airu arrived, and are sporting the same belt and ring that they saw on the internet videos, and asked the two where they got them.

"Airu...Ren..."

"Yo, Ryouma..."

"Yuu-darling...what do you think? I look fashionbable...right?"

"Those belt...and rings..where did you get them?"

"A peddler sold it to us..."

"At a low cost! I looked good, right?"

"Just like that? "

"Whoa..."

"What's wrong?"

Airu and Ren claimed that a peddler offered to sell the "items" for a cheap price claiming that they are the latest in the "fashion craze", and when Taiki glanced at the belts, he noted that they do not looked like fashion items and asked Ren and Airu to remove them as he wanted to see if they are booby-trapped or not, which Airu resented. Unbeknownst to the teens, the "peddler" who is selling the "items" was one of Auma's subordinates and sold the Wizardriver Belts and magic rings to every people within Kyoto, and succeeded to even sell them to lesser criminals after claiming that the items will enhance their criminal activities, including the gangsters.

By then, seeing that all is set, Auma used his magic to create a visual image of the Japanese Prince, while at the same time, chanted a spell which causes the Wizardriver Belts to glow, placing the wearers under their thralls, and there the Japanese Prince began to make an announcement which made the possessed citizens wearing the Wizardriver to become submissive to the prince.

"PEOPLE OF JAPAN...HEAR MY VOICE AND OBEY ME! I AM YOUR RULER! INITIATE YOUR TRANSFORMATION!"

Taiki, Yuu, Tagiru, Akari and Zenjirou stared wide-eyed at seeing and hearing this as the masses, including Airu and Ren, glanced at the Xros Heart members as they placed their left hand, where the magic ring are affixed on their middle finger, in front of the Wizardriver, and the "hand symbol" in front of the belt glowed, and something happened to the people who are wearing them.

Wizardriver: "CHANGE...NOW."

A magic circle appeared as the possessed people stood with their hands on their sides, and the circle enveloped its wearer from the left side, where they are now garbed in brown armor with "skirts", their left forearm attached with a black gauntlet with claws and their helmets resembled that of a jewel, and the possessed prince dubbed them as the "Digi-Mages" and ordered them to slay the Xros Heart members, and Taiki stood up and told his friends to make a run for it as the attempted massacre began.

Hope you like this chapter as the story is now underway as Auma makes his move and placed the Kyoto citizens under his thrall, and this includes Ren and Airu. Taiki and the Xros Hearts are in trouble now as they are forced to go on the run due to unwilling to harm their fellow citizens, as well as not sure on how to handle those "armored mages", and unless they summoned their Digimon partners, they would just have to make a run for it.
