First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me more inspiration to work on the next chapter, which you are about to read on below. I pomise you that this chapter will keep you glued as the story is now underway.

Last chapter gave you a bit of a "terrorist-style actions" across the globe as Auma's machinations led the receivers of the magic items to try out their acquisitions and caused a lot of damage to countries located within the "western world", such as America and England, and the results were disastrous to a degree, and this was indeed part of Auma's plans to make the "West" pay for the "atrocious disgrace" on Japan during the climax of World War II, as well as to see how his "servants" are using the items to their likings.

Also, at the end of last chapter, Xros Heart are contemplating on investigating on what is causing the disasters across the world to happen when they saw their fellow Kyoto citizens are sporting the "magic belts and rings" they saw on the viral net videos before the abducted prince of Japan appeared and "ordered his people" to slay the Xros Heart members, and this resulted in the people wearing them to transform into armored "mages" with jewel motif, and now Taiki and the rest are in the fight of their lives.

Well, that's the summary I can tell you right now, but you'll soon see where this would lead to, so here is the second chapter, so read and enjoy!

Ch. 6: Ichi ni Okeru Kaosu

While the Xros Heart members are talking, they got an unexpected visit from their friends, notably, Akari Hinomoto and Zenjiro Tsurugi, and there they told the trio that they saw several individuals are sporting "strange belts with hand symbols" all over Kyoto, and they appeared to be the same as the ones they saw on the internet videos that went viral, and this made Taiki looked concerned after hearing this from his two friends.

"Taiki! Yuu! Tagiru!"

"Yo, you trio!"

"Akari! Zenjirou!"

"Ah, you two!"

"Glad we found you guys!"

"We got scoop for you! Look at these!"

"Huh? Those belts..."

"They're the same ones we saw on the internet videos!"

"Taiki...Yuu...Akari...Zenjirou...I have a bad feeling about this...this may be a bit farfetched but...what if..."

By then Ryouma Mogami arrived and overheard the conversation and decided to join them as he is set to meet with his friends Ren Tobari and Airu Suzaki, as he too is somewhat worried about the chain of events and about the belts that the individuals are wearing, but then he got a surprise as Ren and Airu arrived, and are sporting the same belt and ring that they saw on the internet videos, and asked the two where they got them.

"Airu...Ren..."

"Yo, Ryouma..."

"Yuu-darling...what do you think? I look fashionbable...right?"

"Those belt...and rings..where did you get them?"

"A peddler sold it to us..."

"At a low cost! I looked good, right?"

"Just like that? "

"Whoa..."

"What's wrong?"

Airu and Ren claimed that a peddler offered to sell the "items" for a cheap price claiming that they are the latest in the "fashion craze", and when Taiki glanced at the belts, he noted that they do not looked like fashion items and asked Ren and Airu to remove them as he wanted to see if they are booby-trapped or not, which Airu resented. Unbeknownst to the teens, the "peddler" who is selling the "items" was one of Auma's subordinates and sold the Wizardriver Belts and magic rings to every people within Kyoto, and succeeded to even sell them to lesser criminals after claiming that the items will enhance their criminal activities, including the gangsters.

By then, seeing that all is set, Auma used his magic to create a visual image of the Japanese Prince, while at the same time, chanted a spell which causes the Wizardriver Belts to glow, placing the wearers under their thralls, and there the Japanese Prince began to make an announcement which made the possessed citizens wearing the Wizardriver to become submissive to the prince.

"PEOPLE OF JAPAN...HEAR MY VOICE AND OBEY ME! I AM YOUR RULER! INITIATE YOUR TRANSFORMATION!"

Taiki, Yuu, Tagiru, Akari and Zenjirou stared wide-eyed at seeing and hearing this as the masses, including Airu and Ren, glanced at the Xros Heart members as they placed their left hand, where the magic ring are affixed on their middle finger, in front of the Wizardriver, and the "hand symbol" in front of the belt glowed, and something happened to the people who are wearing them.

Wizardriver: "CHANGE...NOW."

A magic circle appeared as the possessed people stood with their hands on their sides, and the circle enveloped its wearer from the left side, where they are now garbed in brown armor with "skirts", their left forearm attached with a black gauntlet with claws and their helmets resembled that of a jewel, and the possessed prince dubbed them as the "Digi-Mages" and ordered them to slay the Xros Heart members, and Taiki stood up and told his friends to make a run for it as the attempted massacre began.

"Blast! Everyone...let's run!"

"Huh?"

"But...!"

"What about those people...?"

"We can't help them right now! You saw what those things did in those viral videos! If they done that..then they'll do the same to us!"

"Damn!"

"What now?"

"We can't just..."

"Uh..."

"Guys...please...just do what I say for now!"

While the others were hesitant, Taiki convinces his friends that they should split up and try to outrun and hide from their sights while he tries to find the right timing to summon his Digimon from his X-Loader, as the Xros Heart members began running away to different directions as the "armored mages" magically summoned "brooms" and rode on them and began flaying around, placing their right hand in front for their Wizardriver and their belt glowed, and then raised their right hand where their magic ring is affixed to their right middle finger where their magic attack is announced.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION...NOW!"

A powerful explosion took place and it exploded on a target meant for the fleeing Xros Heart members, but the teens evaded them and instead innocent bystanders took the hit, and their bodies exploded and a sea of blood and severed limb and organs scattered the street causing panic within Kyoto, as people began running for their lives thinking it was a terrorist attack, while other fled after seeing what the "armored mages" did, and soon stampede reigned the streets as the "armored mages" pressed on with their attacks.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION...NOW!"

The "armored mages" went on with their attack using their magic rings, and the city became a bloodied mess due to the rampaging, possessed users, and Taiki managed to hid himself but is pained to see the sight before him and is torn on what to do, as he knew that the people using the magic belt and rings are only being controlled, yet they are oblivious to their actions, and there Shoutmon spoke to his partner via the X-Loader and encouraged him to do the right thing and follow what he thinks is the best for everyone's safeties.

"Blast!"

"Taiki!"

"Shoutmon!"

"Don't blame yourself!"

"But..."

"Do what you think is right...and I'm sure you can find a way to stop them..."

"Shoutmon..."

"I believe in you..."

After that, Taiki took a deep breath and emerged from his hiding place, ready to release Shoutmon and the Starmons, but then several SWAT vans arrived and out emerged several SWAT members and aimed their weapons at the flying "armored mages", and after seeing what they did, the SWAt leader ordered his men to open fire, and they fired powerful weapons such as high-powered guns and machine guns, but to their surprises, the "armored mages" weren't scathed, due to their armor, and then the mages placed their right hand in front of their belt and the spell is activated.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION...NOW!"

The SWAT members, along with their vehicles, exploded and were reduced to a bloodied "patties", and Taiki realized that he has no choice but to fight back even though he knows that hurting the innocent victims being possessed by the magic items can't be avoided, and there he brought out all of his available Digimons, and Shoutmon evolved immediately to Omega-Shoutmon to take on the "armored mages" who are now facing the Digimon.

"Taiki...we'll handle them for now!"

"You should get going!"

"Find the source of this problem!"

"We'll do it!"

"Guys...be careful...!"

"Destroy the Xros Hearts..."

Taiki nodded as he reluctantly leaves the scene as Omega-Shoutmon and the Starmons began to take on the possessed attackers, and thanks to their actions, the "armored mages" became preoccupied to notice Taiki sneaking out of the way as he intends to find the Clock Shop Owner to see if he can help in dealing with the emergency and ask if a Digimon is involved in this very bloodied chaos, in which he hoped that he could find him on time, provided that he won't get caught.

At the other parts of Kyoto, Tagiru is facing a similar problem as he is being chased by the "armored mages" and is also contemplating on fighting back "unrestrained" seeing that they are willing to kill innocent people just to get at him, and seeing that the Wizardiver belts that they are wearing are the key to this, he decided to try risk using "rough methods" in order to disarm and stop their "forced rampage" within the city and glanced at his X-Loader, asking his Digimons if they are willing to "rough up" the attackers in order to stop and save them.

"Tagiru..."

"Gumdramon...Metal-Tyranomon...Sagomon...Harpymon...are you guys willing to hurt them a little just to disarm them?"

"Yes..."

"If needed...we will..."

"We'll do if necessary...if you permit us to do so..."

"I know its harsh...but there's nothing we can do but use that method you suggest..."

"You're life is at stake..and so are the other innocent lives..."

"Okay...I'll summon you and trust your judgements...do what you think is necessary!"

"Okay!"

After that, Tagiru took a deep breath and emerged from his hiding place, ready to release Gumdramon,MetalTyrannomon, Sagomon, Harpymon, Jokermon and Fla-Wizarmon, but then several SWAT vans arrived and out emerged several SWAT members and aimed their weapons at the flying "armored mages", and after seeing what they did, the SWAT leader ordered his men to open fire, and they fired powerful weapons such as high-powered guns and machine guns, but to their surprises, the "armored mages" weren't scathed, due to their armor, and then the mages placed their right hand in front of their belt and the spell is activated.

Wizardriver: "EXPLOSION...NOW!"

The SWAT members, along with their vehicles, exploded and were reduced to a bloodied "patties", and Tagiru winced at the sight before him, and realized that he has no choice but to fight back even though he knows that he may have to go all out should the situation calls for it seeing that disarming them won't be as easy as he thought, but nevertheless he brought out all of his available Digimons, and Gumdramon went in to action as he evolved immediately to Arresterdramon and leads his team to take on the "armored mages" who are now facing the Digimons.

"Guys...follow me!"

Looking around, he saw Zenjirou summoning Ballistamon and Deputymon and had them protect Akari because her Digimon, Cutemon, is not suited for fighting, so Tagiru decided to join them in order to protect his friends, seeing that the two are "undermanned" at the moment, and summoned Pagumon, and there the Digimon created "copies" of himself and kept the "armored mages" busy and this allows Tagiru, Akari and Zenjirou to ran off and find a place to hide while they see if their Digimons can disarm the mages and free them from their control.

"Zenjirou...Akari!"

"Tagiru!"

"Thanks, Tagiru!"

"Follow me!"

"Where are we going?"

"Yeah...where to?"

"We hide for now...and come up with a plan to disarm them..."

"I see..."

"I hope we can work out a plan..."

To Be Continued…

As the chapter title suggests...the city is now in utter chaos as the people who are wearing the "magic belts and ring" are being controlled and turned into "armored mages" and in turn are ordered to find and slay the Xros Heart members, and because they were controlled, they are oblivious to their surroundings and unknowingly ended up killing innocent people because Taiki and Tagiru evaded the blasts meant for them.

While Taiki and Tagiru summoned their strong Digimon partners, it remains to be seen if they can manage to disarm the mages as Auma is looking on, and this is just the start, as the next chapters will surely be "magical" in terms of the story and how the actions are being carried on before our heroes would wound up at "Magic Land".

Preview:

The next chapter shows Yuu defending on his own against the pursuing "armored mages", while at the same time will answer the question on whether Taiki and Tagiru's plan would succeed in disarming the mages. But in the end, their "adventure" towards "Magic Land" will start there.

And lastly, Takuya Kanbara will also share the lead role, along with Izumi Orimoto. That's right, this fic will also be linked with my other Digimon fic, "Digital Wizard", meaning that magic will play a role in this story.
