First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me more inspiration to work on the next chapter, which you are about to read on below. I promise you that this chapter will keep you glued as the story is now underway.

Looks like the problem intensified as Taiki and Tagiru are captured and sent to Magic Land, both are badly hurt while Yuu suffered the worst yet Ryouma managed to save him and right now only Akari managed to escape and must now get help before Auma does another assault using the "Armored Mages" to cause more wanton mayhem.

Well, that's the summary I can tell you right now, but you'll soon see where this would lead to, so here is the second chapter, so read and enjoy!

Ch. 9: Tonzura to Rachisuru

Several minutes after the Armored Mages departed, the scene showed that the streets of Kyoto are somewhat devastated, as bodies are laid everywhere, some burnt to death, others are dismembered and limbs scattered all over, with many of the victims' loved ones wailing and screaming at their kin's deaths, and as ambulances, firefighters and even the police scrambled to get to any survivors, many are left in puzzlement as to how this catastrophe happened and how it all started.

Akari emerged from her hiding place after sensing that the attacks have stopped and as she looked around to see the scene of destruction left by the Armored Mages, and there she is joined by Gumdramon, dressed like a person in disguise and is holding the X-Loaders of Tagiru and Taiki, with Zenjirou showing up as well, and there they realized that their two friends were captured and taken away. They all looked around their surroundings and realized the magnitude of the threat presented and decided that they need to regroup and think of a way to find the cause of all this.

"Zenjirou! Gumdramon!"

"Akari! Thank goodness you're okay!"

"Are you okay, Akari?"

"I'm fine...Zenjirou...are you...?"

"Not a scratch...thankfully...Taiki threw me at an alley...but I sort of blanked out after a huge explosion..."

"By the time I arrived...there were no sign of Taiki or Tagiru...only their X-Loaders..."

"Oh no..."

"You mean...?"

"They've been captured..."

By then Zenjirou receives a text message from Ryouma and are told to meet him at his "preferred place" as the text message states that he might help in solving this crisis, and the two roiginal members of Xros Hearts leave the scene with Gumdramon following suit.

At the Magic Land, the scene shifts to a dungeon where Taiki and Tagiru are locked in, and several minutes later, Taiki woke up and saw Tagiru still unconscious, and and then he felt that his arms and sides were throbbing in pain, which he took off his shirt to see that both his arms the the right side of his upper torso are suffering from near 2nd-degree burns and he noticed that his backpack is there which he checked it and is relieved that his first aid kit is still there, so he took it out and used ointments to apply on the burnt areas and by then Tagiru woke up, and starts to moan in pain.

"Tagiru...?"

"Uhhhnnnhhh..."

"Tagiru...it's okay..."

"My...body...feels like..."

"Don't move...I'll treat them..."

"Are we...?"

"We'll get out of here...so bear with the pain..."

"O-okay..."

As Taiki applied burn ointments and wrapped a gauze pad on his injured areas, one of the guards arrived and began to mock the two Xros Heart members stating that Auma will soon rule Japan like the way he ruled this land, and as Taiki demanded on why some of the citizens of Kyoto began to act strange, the guard mocked them by saying that this is what Japan should be like before and after the fall of World War II, and even stated that magic will soon rule Japan and the western countries will soon bow to Auma and a soon-to-be magical Japan. Of course Tagiru wouldn't want that and grabbed the guard and tries to get the keys to the dungeon yet the guard responded with his own way, placing the his right hand, which has a magic ring, in front of the Wizardriver that he is wearing, invoking a magical spell and uses it to keep Tagiru in his place.

Wizardriver: "GRAVITY...NOW!"

Tagiru was levitated against his will and was slammed against the wall, and the guard laughed maniacally at seeing the injured Tagiru's poor state, but failed to noticed that he is neat Taiki and the elder teen grabbed the guard and slammed his head against the cage bars before twisting his head and snapped his neck, killing him and there he took the keys and opened the cage, and there Taiki slowly carried Tagiru on his back and proceeds to put the dead guard inside the dungeon but then Tagiru suggested that they took the guard's Wizardriver and magic rings, which Taiki is hesitant yet he took them as the two make their way out of the hallway and out of the castle.

Several minutes later, the two teens are walking within the hallway when they spotted another guard passing by, and as the two teens hid behind a corner, the passing guard failed to notice them and Taiki took advantage as he grabbed the guard from behind, locking him in a full nelson lock and Tagiru is forced to use a knife to stab the guard to death and there an idea came to his head as the younger teen took the dead guard's Wizardriver and magic rings from him and puts it on his waist and tells Taiki to do the same and as thy put on the magic belts and rings, they are now experimenting on how to use them until the castle guards spotted them and alerted the other guards.

"Escaped prisoners! Escaped prisoners!"

As the two Xros Heart members are alarmed, Tagiru told Taiki to focus and he placed a magic ring on his right finger and then placed his right hand in front of the Wizardriver, and its magic spell is invoked.

Wizardriver: "TELEPORT...NOW!"

Tagiru disappeared before Taiki's eyes and decided to try the same tactic, and he too teleported out of the area before any of the guards arrived, and there they realized that the prisoners took off with the Wizardrivers and the magic Rings, and the guards began to scramble inside and outside the castle to capture the two escaped teens.

At the throne room, Auma was approached by one of his subordinates and inform him of the situation while begging forgiveness for the trouble though Auma sees this as a mere setback and assured to him that Taiki and Tagiru wouldn't escape, even when told that the two teens have taken a pair of Wizardrivers and magic rings, and there he told his subordinates that this is a good time to put to use the "slaves" he amassed and with a wave of his hands, some of the peasants from the real world came out, most of them under Auma's control, and are told to capture Taik iand Tagiru and allowed them to use lethal means to capture them alive, and there the controlled peasants, about 10 of them, places their left hands, wearing the CHANGE Rings, in front of the Wizardrivers they are wearing, and this invoked a magical transformation.

Wizardriver: "CHANGE...NOW."

Wizardriver: "CHANGE...NOW."

The 10 peasants are now transformed into Armored Mages and leaves the room to commence their search for the two escaped teens. By then Auma decided to head to the real world as he has come up with a plan after the cauldron he is viewing showed that he is eyeing on someone, in which someone shown there is none other than Izumi Orimoto! Auma then uses his magic ring and placed it in front of his Wizardriver to leave Magic Land to head out to Japan.

Back at Kyoto, Akari and Zenjirou meet up at a place where Ryouma Mogami is waiting and there he told them that Yuu is at a hospital and is in no condition to join in on the fight due to the severity of his injuries but Cutemon emerged from Akari's X-Loader and said that she can heal Yuu and Ryouma nodded as he decided to take them to the hospital, but then Ryouma showed to them Ren and Airu, still unconscious and asked Cutemon if she can use her healing abilities to "cure" their minds from the apparent brainwashing which the Digimon does so, and soon both Ren and Airu woke up and are back to normal, and there the two were told of what happened, and Airu is visibly shocked at what she did to Yuu, though Ryouma assured that Yuu is okay and they all headed for the hospital to get to Yuu.

"Yuu!"

"Don't be alarmed..."

"But...but he's...!"

"He is out of danger for now..."

"But what if he's...!"

"Leave it to Cutemon..."

"O-Okay..."

"I'll be waiting for you..."

Later at the hospital, Akari approached Yuu while the others are serving as lookouts as Cutemon uses her abilities and slowly cured Yuu of his injuries and he is okay, and as Yuu told the others what happened earlier, the Clock Shop Owner appeared and told the others to follow him as he tells them that something "ominous" is about to happen, which the teens accepted, and as they sneaked out of the hospital ward, they are surprised to see that Nene Amano and Kiriha Anouma are there and the Clock Shop Owner opened a door and motions the teens to enter, which they did and the Clock Shop Owner entered last, and a few seconds later, a nurse opens the door which reveals that it was just a stock room, unaware that the teens have entered a Digi-Quartz and the portal has closed.

At Shibuya, Izumi Orimoto is outside the Omokagedo Antique Shop and is watching the skies as she wondered how Takuya is doing after watching the news about the incidents that happened earlier, with Yoshino Fujieda and Tomoki Himi accompanying her and they all wondered who is behind the series of "magical incidents" when Auma, in his armored guise as the "Gold Wizard", appeared in front of them and makes his intentions known by pointing his finger at Izumi, and as Yoshjino aimed her gun at him, Auma uses his ring to invoke the Gravity spell and levitates her and Tomoki towards the antique shop's window, crashing before taking Izumi away.

"Now...come with me..."

"N-no! I won't!"

"You will come with me...whether you like it or not!"

"What do you want?!"

"You will be a sacrifice...to change Japan..."

"I will not! Leave me alone!"

"You have no choice..."

"Someone help me!"

Wizardriver: "SLEEP...NOW!"

Using the Sleep Ring's power, Izumi went unconscious as Auma, as the Gold Wizard, took her away and left just as Junpei rushes to Yoshino and Tomoki, seeing them unconscious against the display window, where the glass windows were shattered.

Okay...a lot of things happened here and it would soon spiral out of control...for the heroes and the villains. Taiki and Tagiru got captured, but managed to escape yet they are still trapped in the Magic Land and are going to get in to a fight with their possessed pursuers though the two Xros Heart members managed to get hold of a pair of Wizardrivers and Magic rings, so expect the two teens to utilize them in the upcoming chapters.

Yuu managed to recover and is reunited with Akari and Zenjirou, and with Airu and Ren back to normal, the other Xros heart members and the Hunters got some added boost with Ren and airu holding the Wizardrivers and get two Armored Mages on their side, just as they are summoned by the Clock Shop Owner, as he has "contingency plans" laid out to help restore order in Kyoto.

And Auma makes his move as he abducts Izumi and has plans of his own for Japan, and presumably intends to use Izumi as a sacrifice of sorts. Expect Takuya to go after him in order to get her back.

The next chapter will shift back to Magic Land as Taiki and Tagiru fights back against their pursuers in order to stay alive and make their way back to the real world, while in Kyoto, the Xros Heart and the Hunters brace themselves as something strange is about to happen in Japan while the scene shifts somewhere as the Digital Wizard and the Gold Wizard collide as Izumi is about to be used in a magic ritual that would affect Japan and the rest of the world.
