Hey everyone back with another chapter, and it's cooking time! Besides that, I changed something about this chapter and I hope you like it.

I own none of the content except Melissa, so please enjoy!

It was morning, and in the guy's side of the Bass cabin, all of them were asleep, but Duncan was the first person to wake up. He stretched, dropped down to the floor from the top bunk, and started to do some push-ups. He then smelled something, and looked in front of him, and recoiled when he say dirty, stained underwear.

"Ugh!" He recoiled in disgust and backed away.

DJ, Tyler and Geoff woke up and looked down, and laughed once they realized what happened.

"Not cool, Harold man!" Duncan glared at Harold, who had also woken up. "Not cool."

"Those aren't mine." Harold denied.

"Oh right! You're always leaving your gitch lying around!" Duncan said.

Tyler nodded, and said," Yeah man, I mean, sure we're not all the cleanest, but we know when to not leave stuff like that out."

"No I don't! Gosh!" Harold said with crossed arms.

"Uh, yeah you do, dude. " Geoff thought otherwise.

Harold further denied it by saying," You have like, absolutely no proof."

"No one else wears that kind, dude." Geoff said.

He would know, due to living with the geek for the past couple of weeks. And during that time, he did found out what kind of clothes Harold and the other male Bass wore. That would unfortunately include what kind of underwear they all wore.

"And your mom sewed your name onto the label." DJ added.

"Whatever. I'm going for a shower." Harold said, as he grabbed his toiletries and walked out.

"Hey, don't forget to clean the skid maker!" Duncan added, and then looked at the other guys." I think Harold needs to be taught a lesson boys. Who's with me?"

All three shared a high five, except for Tyler, who looked conflicted.

"I don't know… I mean do we need to go that far?" The Athlete said aloud.

Duncan rolled his eyes, and said," Whatever man. Don't come crying to us when you get a face full of shit from Harold's tidy-whities."

With that, him, DJ and Geoff walked out of the cabin, leaving Tyler by himself.

Later, both teams were at the beach, where Chris had instructed them to go to earlier.

"Today's challenge will test your minds, your teamwork, and your skills in the kitchen. You'll be coking a three-course meal and serving it to me for tasting. The winners get a reward and the losers will send somebody home. Each team will appoint a head chef, and create a theme for the meal and to oversee the cooking. To cook, you need ingredients. Every morning, a truck bring us food. Today's task starts there."

Melissa and the others saw the truck in question come onto the beach, and the driver side window opened and… a dolphin was revealed to be the driver.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

"Okay, I know that Dolphins are intelligent, but I didn't know they were able to drive." Melissa said stunned.

Geoff and DJ opened the back of the truck to find a lot of food. Melissa peered inside, and whistled.

"Dang look at all of this. From what I see, I think we have enough ingredients to create something that Chris won't see coming. I think we can go for some classic Chamorro Food from back home. So, is it cool that I can call dibs on being Head Chef?" Melissa asked.

"Go for it girl." Geoff said with thumbs up.

"Yeah, you have my vote." DJ said with a smile.

Melissa looked at Courtney, knowing the two of them needed to agree on this.

Courtney thought about it for a moment, and said," Alright, let's try it."

Melissa fist pumped.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

Melissa looked excited.

"I know it would've been safer to try something traditional or easy. But just because we're winning, doesn't mean we should slack off. We gotta bring our A Game, and not leave any prisoners!" She said with the last part as she cracked her knuckles and smirked.

She then realized what she said, and had a sheepish look.

"Uh… sorry, got carried away." She then went back to looking excited." So I'll do my best to steer everyone in the right direction with my island's culture. Mom, Nana and all my family back home on island. We'll make you proud."

As Melissa instructed the Bass on what ingredients to get, the Gophers were heading to the truck as well.

"Head Chef, called it." Heather said, and looked at Beth. "Try not to screw up this time, okay?"

Beth gulped and nodded nervously, and Heather walked passed her. The braces wearing girl thought that standing up to the Queen Bee was good, which it was. But, since then, Heather had been giving her bad looks and didn't speak to her often since the last challenge. So she was a little on edge.

Leshawna saw this, and glared at Heather as she stood next to Beth," Just ignore her girl."

-Confessional (Heather)-

"I had to take the leadership role. Hello, we're on a losing streak. And really, everyone else on the team is pretty useless." Heather explained.

The Bass were the first to get into the kitchen, and Melissa walked in while holding a clipboard.

"Alright, we got appetizers, main course and dessert. For appetizers we got Lumpia with Sweet and Sour Sauce. Main course is a plate of Chicken Kelaguen with a Titiya, Red Rice, BBQ Chicken, with a side of Finadenne. And the dessert will be Latiya with a scoop of Ice Cream. Now, there are nine of us, so we may have to work in three each. So, Harold, Katie and Tyler, you got the Lumpia and sauce. DJ, Bridgette, Geoff will have the main course. And Courtney and Duncan got dessert. Alright people, let's do this, and don't worry, I'll be helping." Melissa said.

Tyler gave her a thumbs up, while Harold said," You got it. I went to Steve's Cooking Camp, and I rocked it. So not only will the Lumpia be good. But so will my sauce, which will sweet and sour like you want it to be." Harold said with pride.

Everyone laughed at the accidental innuendo, while Melissa was stuck between either laughing or cringing.

"What? What did I say?" Harold asked, not getting it.

Katie raised her hand, and said," Can I make the ice cream? Sadie and I made homemade ice cream last summer, and sold it on the pier. And everyone loved it."

"I can also do the BBQ once the chicken's marinated. If there's time." DJ said.

Melissa nodded, and said," Alright, that means we'll have to delegate a little. I'll make sure to help Geoff and Bridgette on the rest. While Courtney and Duncan will work on the main dessert."

Courtney raised a brow, and said," There's no way I'm working with him." And she flinched a little when she saw Duncan giving her a smirk.

"C'mon Courtney, for the team." Geoff encouraged.

"Ugh… fine. For the team." Courtney conceded.

-Confessional (Courtney)-

"He's totally unmotivated. And he never washed his hands. He's so obnoxious." Courtney started to list what she thought Duncan, and the tape fast forwarded, due to how long Courtney was talking. "Owning sunglasses doesn't automatically make you cool." The tape then fast forwarded again. "People like that are so annoying, I mean, honestly, who does that? And don't even get me started on his hair."

"Alright dudes, let's get to cooking! Oh wait… is it cool that I go hit the can first, Mel?" Geoff asked.

Melissa nodded, and said," Go ahead, but hurry back."

Geoff nodded, and he winked at Duncan and DJ, who nodded. The others didn't notice, but Tyler did.

The athlete looked conflicted, but sighed, knowing what he had to do.

"Hey Mel, can I talk to you privately about something?" He asked the fellow athlete.

Melissa sighed, and said," Fine, but make it quick."

'Just what was up with everyone today?' She thought.

Once the both of them got to a corner, Tyler told the Athletic Nerd about what happened earlier that morning, and what Duncan, DJ and Geoff were planning on doing to Harold. As he talked, Melissa went from shocked, and then she glared.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it." She resolutely said.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

"What the fuck?" Melissa said in shock, and then she got angry.

"Okay, Duncan, I can see him doing that. But DJ and Geoff? Never in a million years. A lot of people assume that do to me being a jock, I like to pick on or bully weaker people and make fun of them. Well I don't and I never freaking will. If they think they can get away with bullying Harold for something like that, then they are surely mistaken." She said with conviction.

She then had a grossed out look," Only issue is I'm going to have to talk to Harold about his underwear habits. Ugh… I may be a tomboy, but I'm still a girl. There are things I won't do."

-Confessional (Tyler)-

"Yeah, I may be a superior athlete and a jock, but I draw the line at bullying weaker people, it doesn't sit right with me. And I couldn't leave Harold to be bullied and possibly humiliated, so I had to do something."

After Tyler told her what the guys had planned, she asked the clumsy jock if he could help her with stopping the other three, due to her having her hands full. And she was glad that Tyler agreed.

Melissa soon noticed Geoff came back, but he was near the doors. He signaled at DJ, who nodded.

DJ held a pitcher of water, which was going to be used to cook the rice. She saw Harold approaching, and then acted.

Before DJ could do anything, Melissa walked up to him.

"Hey Deej, I got the rice. You handle the chicken outside, okay?" She said.

DJ looked surprised, but said," Uh yeah sure, Mel. Thanks."

He handed the pitcher to her, grabbed the chicken, and walked outside. Melissa nodded, and made a note to go outside later and give the Brickhouse a piece of her mind.

Duncan and Geoff had seen this, with the former being a little ticked, but went back to work, without suspecting a thing. While Geoff walked into the kitchen and went to work.

With the Gophers, they arrived with their own ingredients and walked over to their side of the kitchen. Heather was busy giving them orders on who was going to cook what.

"Gwen, Lindsay, you're on the Citrus Macadamia Upside Down Cake Flambé."

"Do you know how to make an upside-down flamer thingy?" Lindsay asked Gwen.

Owen arrived, and was holding a bag of oranges. He bumped into Heather, which caused a couple of oranges to fall to the ground. Owen ended up tripping and fell to the ground, but the oranges stopped his fall.

"Go back to the truck and get more oranges!" Heather ordered, and Owen ran out to do just that.

Heather looked at Leshawna, who was coming in with Beth, and said," Leshawna, you will help Owen with the ribs. And also help Beth with the Pineapple Skewers and Mango Dip."

"Alright. But you gotta let me handle appetizers instead. I know how to make a Pineapple Chutney that will knock the socks off the devil." Leshawna said.

"Oh really? Well that's so great!" Heather pretended to humor her. "But since I'm Head Chef, we're gonna stick to my plan. And my plan is pineapple with sticks through them! Got it?"

Leshawna gave Heather a look that looked like she was ready to kill her, but refrained and nodded.

Later, Melissa was taste testing the sauce that Tyler and Harold made, while also giving them pointers on how much stuffing they should put in Lumpia. That was when she noticed Bridgette was eyeing Geoff, which the party dude didn't seem to notice.

Melissa was going to help Geoff, but she knew it would be counterproductive to her scolding him later. And she also needed to talk to DJ outside. But she soon got an idea when Geoff moved to a different area.

She whispered to Tyler what she got planned, and he nodded.

Melissa walked past Bridgette, but stopped, and said," You guys are doing good. Also, I saw Geoff giving you some side glances. I think he's sending signals."

Bridgette grinned, while blushing a little, and said," Maybe, he is kinda cute."

Melissa smirked, and signaled Tyler. And she then walked out to check and talk to DJ.

Tyler walked over to Geoff, and said," Hey man, make your move." He said and pointed at Bridgette.

Geoff smiled, and went back to his station next to Bridgette.

"You know, you look good when you're cooking dinner." Geoff complimented her, which made Bridgette smiled.

But the moment was ruined when Geoff said," Kinda like my friend Evan's really hot mom."

Bridgette gave the partier a raised eyebrow and said in an offended tone," Excuse me?"

Tyler held back from slapping his face, but quickly went over to Geoff and said," Hey man, I think it's time to start mixing the Kelaguen stuff."

"Sure thing. Later Bridge." Geoff said with a wink to Bridgette, not realizing he messed up.

Outside, DJ was cooking, and heard someone clear their throat. He glanced behind him to see Melissa. But it was only for a second, so he didn't notice the glare she had.

"Hey Mel. I just got them on the grill. They'll take a few minutes like you said."

Melissa nodded, and said," That's good. What isn't good is that one of my friends is bully. I'm disappointed in you."

DJ stiffened, and turned around with a shocked face.

"W-what?! What are you talking about?"

Melissa walked in front of DJ with a crossed look, and said," Tyler told me what you, Geoff and Duncan are planning on doing to Harold. And I do not appreciate or like people who bully others."

DJ looked worried and also looked like he was the verge of panicking, but said," N-no, we're not bullying Harold, we're just making him see reason."

Melissa raised a brow, and said," Oh? So messing and potentially humiliating him is a good thing?" She then thought of something, she knew it would be something that would make DJ see reason.

"Well, I guess this is what your mother would want Deej, that she raised a bully? I'll bet she will be so proud. Considering she was the one to raise you and your brothers. And you hold her in such high regard?"

DJ's eyes widened at the implication of what she said. He then sniffed and started to cry.

"Oh my God! S-she would be so disappointed in me. I-I can't believe it!"

Melissa sighed, and placed a hand on his shoulder and said," And the fact that you realized it was wrong, means you're a good person Deej. Now, I want you to go apologize to Harold… well after you finish the chicken. And I'll also try to talk to him about owning up to his stuff. I'll be inside."

DJ nodded, and then thought of something," Hey Mel? Your not… disappointed in me right? We're still cool?"

Melissa gave him a small smile, and said," I am a little bit Deej, but the fact that you owned up to your mistakes, is a good thing in my eyes. And we're still friends."

DJ grinned a little with a nod. The feeling of despair was over, and he was feeling better. He promised himself he would talk to Harold later, but first he had to finish the challenge.

-Confessional (DJ)-

"Ah man, I can't believe I would stoop that low. Who knows what kind of humiliation Harold would've gone through if we went through with messing with him." DJ said in a regretful tone, but he soon perked up. "I'm glad Melissa steered me in the right direction. Momma didn't raise a bully, and I intend to stay on the right path. Thanks Mel."

Back inside, Owen came back with the oranges, but he was covered in Hornet stings.

"It's okay, everyone, I'm back. Leshawna, catch!" Owen said, and tossed the crate the girl in question.

Luckily, Leshawna and Beth dodged it, and the crate crashed behind them.

Leshawna glared at him, and said," Boy you better watch where you throw things! That almost damn near took my head off!"

Chris came in to check everyone's progress, and noticed the mess.

"Hope you guys can bounce back from that. You have three hours and counting." He said, and left.

Melissa then came back in after talking to DJ, and walked over to Geoff, who was busy mixing the Kelaguen ingredients.

"Remember dude, make sure to be careful on how much lemon you put into it. It could be too sour if your not careful. Make sure to taste test it."

Geoff gave her thumbs up, and said," Got it dudette."

Melissa got closer to Geoff, and whispered," Also, don't even think about messing with Harold. I know what you; DJ and Duncan are trying to do. And I don't approve."

Geoff gulped, and felt some sweat form on his head, and whispered back," I uh… it's all harmless Mel. And he had it coming."

"That's what all bullies say. Besides, I have it on good authority that Bridgette does not like people like you. We've talked a good deal about stuff, including bullies. And we both agreed that we don't like bullies. So, what are you going to do?" Melissa said with a vague threat.

Geoff glanced back at Bridgette, who was busy making the Titiya, so she didn't notice what was going on.

Geoff sighed, and said," Right, I'll stop Mel. And I'll apologize to Harold for almost messing with him. And I'll put the underwear that I stole from him back."

"Good." Melissa said, and walked away, she decided to ignore the last part, not wanting to think what those three idiots had planned.

She then went over to Tyler and Harold.

"How's it going guys?"

"Pretty good, we made a couple of practice Lumpia like you said." Harold said.

Melissa inspected the three samples, took one and took a bite. She then dipped the other end into the sauce they made.

"Very good, but I would suggest put a little less stuffing in. While with the sauce, it's good. Keep it up guys." She praised, and both boys high-fived.

While Melissa helped her fellow Bass, things weren't going so well with the Gophers.

Beth was busy slicing up the pineapple slices, and Heather went over to her to inspect it.

"These slices are totally uneven. Switch places with Leshawna." Heather ordered.

Beth was about to do that, but Leshawna stopped her, and said to Heather," What are you talking about? They look fine to me."

"Um, I didn't get to be Head Chef because of poor presentation!" Heather shot back.

Leshawna got into Heathers face and angrily said, "No! You got to be Head Chef because you called it! and who do you think you foolin' with this crispy white apron power trip you on?!"

"Are you gonna be a team player or not?!" Heather shot back.

The argument caused both sides of the kitchen to stop, due to everyone watching the argument.

"Ooh, I'm a team player all right, but I'm also allergic to pineapple!"

"Just get slicing. Now!" Heather ordered, and not wanting to incur her wrath towards her, Beth went to Leshawna's station, while the Leshawna begrudgingly went to Beth's previous station, and went to work. "Thanks guys!"

"Ooh! Two-faced, bossy, little-ooh! Ugh!" Leshawna grumbled as she started to cut the pineapple rather aggressively.

She soon stopped, due to noticing the rash she had on her hands and parts of her arms.

"Yo! What do you recommended I do about this?"

"Yo, I recommend you scratch after we win. Get back to work." Heather said not caring and walked away.

Leshawna's response was to lunge and try to attack Heather, but her teammates stopped her.

After watching the argument, Melissa was tempted to help Leshawna, but this was a competition, and she was on the other team. So she guessed more power for her and the rest of the Bass if the Gophers were having issues of their own. She walked over to the dessert station, and by that time, DJ walked back inside with the chicken. Duncan saw him, and walked over to him.

"Hey man what gives? Harold is supposed to be taking his own medicine right now." He said in a low tone.

DJ shook his head, and said," Sorry man, I can't do it. It's something I should not take a part of. Momma didn't raise no bully."

Duncan raised a brow, and looked at Geoff, who was nearby, and he nodded as well. Duncan was both confused and angry. The both of them were okay with messing with Harold earlier this morning, but now they were backing out.

He then realized the only person there that morning who didn't follow his plan was Tyler.

"Oh that clumsy SOB is gonna get it." Duncan said under his breath.

"I think not." He heard someone say behind him.

He turned around, and found Melissa giving him a glare, and it only took him a second to figure it out.

Before he could verbally berate the American, Melissa beat him to it.

"Hey Courtney, Katie. Duncan needs to get something from the truck. And I'm going to help him. Hey Bridge, can you supervise for a bit? My notes are on the counter."

Bridgette nodded, and said," Sure thing."

Courtney raised a brow, feeling like she was missing something, but mentally shrugged and nodded.

Melissa and Duncan walked outside, and it gave them the privacy to talk.

"Okay States, you better have a damn good reason for messing with my pranks." Duncan seethed.

Melissa had her own glare, and jabbed a finger into Duncan's chest. "I do have a very damn good reason. If you think you can get away with picking on someone then you got another thing coming. I can excuse your attitude and your general demeanor, but I draw the line at bullying."

Duncan rolled his eyes, and said," Yet the dork had it coming. That's what he gets for leaving his undies all over the place."

It was Melissa's turn to roll her eyes, and said," Please, if I walked into your guys cabin, then I guess you and the others are clean freaks? I'm pretty sure you and the others are just as guilty. Now, you can go on your way and attempt to pick on Harold. Or we can walk back in and continue the damn challenge, or so help me you will not like it when I'm more pissed off."

The both of them looked at each other with intense looks, with neither of wanting to back down.

Duncan growled, and said," Fine, I'll lay off of him. Happy?"

Melissa would've said otherwise, but she had to take what she could get.

"I am, also, just in case you try to pull something. Remember that Courtney and I are co-leading. And I know it won't take much convincing to persuade her to vote you out next time we lose. And we'll make sure to get the votes. And you can kiss your sorry ass goodbye. Got it?"

Duncan nodded, and the both of them walked back inside.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

Melissa had a satisfied look.

"Man I feel good. Managed to advert bullying upon a fellow geek. I'm pretty sure I got through to those three. Although Duncan is a tad tricky, but I'll take what I can get. Remember people, if you mess with the bull, then you get the horns."

-Confessional (Duncan)-

Duncan looked annoyed.

"Dang nerd had to spoil the fun. Just perfect. But… I will admit I gotta respect her a little. Girl knows how to make a threat, and hold her ground." He said the last part slightly begrudgingly and with slight respect.

With the Gophers, Lindsay and Gwen had finished with their cake, but the blonde was looking at it in confusion.

"What's wrong?" Heather asked with her hands on her hips.

"Uh, we used all of the flambé starter, but it won't flambé." Lindsay explained.

"Nothing happened when you lit it?" Heather questioned.

"Ooohh." Lindsay said in realization.

-Confessional (Heather)-

"It's like talking to an eggplant." Heather said.

"Pay attention girls. This is how you flambé." Heather explained to Lindsay and Gwen, and grabbed a lighter. "Step one, pour the flambé liquid, which you did manage. Step two of two, light it."

Heather turned on the lighter, and held it to the cake.

FWWOOOSH

A mini explosion erupted, which caused the cake to become burned, and Heather's face became caked with soot. Gwen started to giggle, both due to what happened to Heather, and what the aftermath did to the Queen Bee.

Heather grabbed a frying pan to look at her reflection. And she screamed when she saw her eyebrows had been burned off.

"AAAAHH! MY EYEBROWS!" Heather shrieked and covered her face. "OWEN!"

Owen somehow sprinted in a flash, and excitedly asked," Is it lunch time?"

"No! Go get my make-up bag out of the cabin!" Heather ordered.

Owen looked fearful, due to the last time he went out, he had been attacked and stung by bees.

"But… the bees."

"NOW!" Heather threatened as she held the frying pan in front of him, and then pointed at the door.

Owen slumped down, knowing he couldn't get out of it, and walked out.

With Katie, she was busy finishing up making the ice cream while humming a tune. But she was also overhearing Courtney and Duncan, with the former watching him, and the latter was busy pouring the custard onto the Latiya cake.

"Hey careful, not too much. Ugh, you're such a slob." Courtney said.

"Oh relax its fine. Y'know, you would be a lot more fun without the pole up your butt." Duncan teasingly said.

Courtney looked shocked, and said," I'm like the most easygoing person I know."

"Oh yeah, your totally laid back." Duncan joked, and used the whisk to slingshot a little of the custard into Courtney's face.

Courtney wiped it, glared at the delinquent, and then proceeded to toss the bowl of custard at Duncan. She giggled when she saw him covered in it, wiped some off of his face, and ate it. Unknown to the both of them, Katie held back a squeal.

-Confessional (Katie)-

Katie squealed and said," Like I love when a romance blossoms!"

-Confessional (Duncan)-

"Man I don't know who creases me more, her or States. But I dig that in a chick. Although from the looks of it, DJ has dibs on States. And I was never interested in her anyway." Duncan admitted.

-Confessional (Courtney)-

"Duncan and me? Right, as if. Not in a million years. Puh-lease. When pigs fly." Courtney denied with a scoff.

"Yo! Are you still busy protesting in there? Or can someone else have a turn?" Leshawna called from outside.

Courtney ignored her, and said," As I was saying. Not going to happen."

Heather waited for Owen to come back with her makeup bag, and she heard the door open to see Owen had came back, but was heavily stung.

"Don't just stand there, give it!" Heather said.

"Purple gerbil fish bag…" Owen incoherently said and promptly passed out, but not before tossing the bag to Heather.

Heather was about to catch it, but Leshawna intercepted it. Heather gasped and tried to grab it, but Leshawna tossed it to Beth, who then tossed it to Lindsay.

"Throw it in the fridge!" Leshawna said as she opened the walk-in freezer.

Lindsay looked conflicted, especially when Heather snapped her fingers at her, expecting her to give it to her. Lindsay thought about it for a moment and then…

"Whoops!" She said as she tossed the bag over her shoulder, and it landed in the freezer.

"Nnooo!" Heather cried as she ran into the fridge to retrieve it. Once she got it, she heard the door close and lock, and gasped in shock.

"Hey! You can't do this! I'm Head Chef!" Heather called.

Leshawna smirked in satisfaction, both at locking Heather in, and hearing her cries to be left out. She should've had done that hours ago.

"Do you think Heather's really mad at us?" Lindsay asked.

"I will destroy you!" Heather yelled as she pounded on the door, and then she started to cry a little.

"She'll get over it. Girl needs to learn how to chill." Leshawna said without a care.

The Bass saw this as well, with Bridgette finding Heather's predicament an act of karma, but she knew someone else would think differently.

"So, what do you think of that?" She asked Melissa.

The American shrugged and said," Not my problem. She had it coming. Besides, my coaches had ways of dealing with people with attitudes. So let it be a lesson for her."

"Dang that is cold… like Heather is going to be." Geoff joked, and the three of them laughed.

Later on, it was time for both teams to serve Chris their meals, who was sitting in table in the main dining hall. The Gophers went with a Hawaiian theme, with a Lei and some type of Tiki statue that Beth placed with it. While the Bass placed a Guam flag on their side to signify their Chamorro dishes. The Bass were the first to showcase their food.

Tyler and Harold presented their Lumpia with Sweet and Sour sauce. Chris inspected the Lumpia and took a bite.

He grinned and said," Crunchy and the flavor is there." He then dipped it into the sauce, and took another bite. "And the sauce is neither too sweet nor sour. Now, give me some island cuisine."

Melissa handed the plate of food to Chris. And he blinked at the selection.

"Just wanted to give you taste of some of my islands culture, especially the food." Melissa said.

Chris took a couple of bite of everything, and judging by the way he was happily eating, he liked it.

"A lot of savory traditional dishes but it gets the point across. This rocks!" He praised.

Melissa high-fived DJ, Bridgette and Geoff.

"Now, dessert me please." Chris said.

Courtney, Duncan and Katie gave them the dessert.

Chris took some of the cake and ice cream and ate it. Courtney looked worried, but Duncan placed his hand on her shoulder for support, and they grinned at each other.

"Hmm. A little too spongy, a little liberal on the custard, and the ice cream melted a little, but still good." Chris praised. "Well I have to say… that you definitely made an island proud. Appetizer is a solid 8, main dish 10, and dessert 7! That gives the Bass a total of 25 points!"

The Bass cheered, with Melissa fist pumping and high-fiving everyone. While the Gophers looked shocked at how well they did.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

"Yes! Yes! I hope I made you guys proud back on island!" Melissa cheered happily.

"Now then. Gophers, if you'll please." Chris said.

After eating the appetizer, The Gophers waited for Owen, who was guarding the food, to bring out the ribs they had. They waited a moment, but nothing happened. Leshawna went into the kitchen to see what happened. Everyone was then taken by surprise a second later when they heard Leshawna yell.

"Tell me you did not just eat the entire plate of ribs!" Leshawna yelled from the kitchen.

A moment later, Owen came out of the kitchen, and everyone was shocked to see the rack of ribs was nothing but a memory, and the bones were left. Owen had the sauce all over his shirt, which drove it home that he ate it all.

Owen presented what was left to Chris.

"Yeah… this looks like it's been uh… been eaten." Chris said.

"Not all of it. I think there's a tiny chunk left on that... bone right there." Owen pointed out.

Chris found it and ate the piece.

"Alright not bad. Now your dessert."

Lindsay presented the cake, and Chris said," I gotta say, this looks like a winner."

As soon as Chris poked it with a fork, the cake disintegrated. And all that was left was a small black burnt piece of it.

"Oh that is not good." Leshawna winced.

Chris took the piece and tried to eat, and he ended up choking on it. Owen got behind him, and performed the Heimlich Maneuver until Chris cough out the ball. Some of the cast on both teams cringed at the site.

"What the heck is this?" Chris angrily said as he got the ability to breathe and speak again.

"It's Heather's recipe." Lindsay started to explain but gasped in realization. "Oh my God! She's still in the fridge!" She said and ran into the kitchen to get Heather out of the walk in freezer.

Chris gave the Gophers a confused look, with Leshawna saying with a shrug." What? Girl was making everyone trip."

"Oh, I hear that." Chris agreed, but then had a horrified look when Lindsay came back with a now freed Heather.

Owen gasped in shock and horror, and said," Oh, the horror!"

Spending time in a freezer was not good for Heather, due to gaining blue skin for being in it for so long. Not only that, she had tried to make new eyebrows for herself with her makeup, but it was poorly drawn and looked big and fuzzy.

Melissa blinked in shock as well and said," Wow, Jack Frost sure nipped her."

The others tried to hold in their snorts or chuckles at the joke, except for Duncan and Leshawna, who both chuckled at the joke. Courtney had to elbow Duncan to make him stop.

Heather didn't bother glare at the American, she was too busy shivering and glaring at her own team.

"Y-you guys are s-s-so dead!" She managed to yell at her teammates, and then looked at Chris." Is it over?"

"It is! The Bass won 25 to 12 and it's not just 'cause I almost died. The ribs sucked too." Chris said, and the Bass cheered at another win.

"Great! That's just great! Why do we keep on losing, people?!" Heather angrily yelled. Not only did she lose her eyebrows, get locked in the freezer, but her team also lost again!

"And what is this? I didn't approve this!" Heather added as she saw the Tiki statue that Beth had put on the table.

Beth walked over to the table, grabbed it and said," I-I brought it back as a souvenir. Y'know, from the other island." Beth explained.

Everyone realized what island she was talking about and gasped in shock and horror. Even Melissa did a Sign of the Cross.

"You took that from Boney Island?!" Chris yelled in shock. The deadliest island in Muskoka! The island I specifically said not to take anything from or you'll be cursed?!"

Considering the girl wasn't there for that part of the explanation a couple of episodes ago, due to being in the bathroom, she honestly didn't know.

"Yeah… I didn't know! I'll put it back!" She said and ran off to do just that.

"Well, looks like the Bass are keeping their 9 members, while the Gophers are going to be at 5 now. And the winners are going to be enjoying a reward tonight. A five-star dinner under the stars." Chris said.

All the Bass cheered, with Melissa high-fiving Bridgette, and she also hugged DJ. Duncan ended up picking up Courtney and hugged her. The CIT laughed, but then said," Okay! Put me down! Put me down!" She said the last part with a glare, and Duncan did so.

As the Bass walked out the door, Melissa stopped Duncan, DJ and Geoff. The former two looked worried, but Duncan looked impassive.

"Apologize now. And I'll talk to Harold later. K?"

DJ and Geoff nodded, while Duncan rolled his eyes but smirked.

"It'll pain me to do so, but knowing your going to talk to a guy about leaving his drawers around, will make it funny."

Melissa shuttered, knowing Duncan was right, but if it meant for greater good, then she'll do it.

Later that night, the Gophers were at the campfire ceremony. So far, Gwen, Leshawna and Owen received their marshmallows, with Lindsay getting the last one, and that left Heather and Beth. Out of the both of them, Beth looked the most worried, while Heather didn't.

"Whoever doesn't get this marshmallow must immediately walk The Dock of Shame, and leave on the Boat of Losers. Forever. The Final marshmallow goes to..."

"Heather."

Heather had a satisficed look, and mockingly told Beth," You heard him. Boat of Losers, that-a-way. That really was stupid of you to take that doll from the island."

"See ya girl." Leshawna said, feeling bad for the braces wearing girl. She had wanted to vote out Heather, due to how much of a bitch she was today. But, considering what Beth did that caused them their losing streak, it was a tough vote.

Beth lowered in head in sadness and walked to the Dock of Shame.

"That's it for tonight. And you might wanna burn some sage to get rid of any lingering curse vibes." Chris suggested.

"Cool. Will Chef give us some sage?" Leshawna hopefully asked.

"Nope. So... good luck with that." Chris said and walked off.

And with that, besides a curse being lifted, another episode of Total Drama Island had ended.

And that concludes it. I thought the Bass going with some classic Chamorro food was a good idea with Melissa leading the charge. And let me tell you, I have eaten all that stuff before and love it. Wished I could've used more examples, but I had to choose.

Don't worry, I'm planning on doing an in-between chapter with Melissa and Harold talking. I would've done it in this chapter, but felt it would ruin the flow of the chapter. So stay tuned for that.

Also funny thing, I had a different idea on how this chapter would've gone. Geoff would've been able to make those underwear sandwiches, and Melissa would've accidently eaten it without noticing due to how busy she was. And once she found out, she would've thrown up, and passed out for the rest of the challenge. And also she would've had a more angry conversation with the boys. But I decided to scrap it. Oh well.

Till next time.
