I finally came back to this! I reread the chapters I had already done and had a desire to get to know Sol again. I'm sure there's one or two people that wanted to see more, so I figured I'd come back.

As usual, I own Sol, I don't own any of the main characters.

Nearly a week had passed since the newest host's "type" was chosen. As usual, Tamaki sat at his two couches, a cup of instantly coffee, made by Haruhi herself, was held in his hand as he flirted subtly with the girls who sat around him. Kyoya was near one of the pillars, speaking with a small group of girls about the host's themes, cosplays, and where they get money from, charming the girls with a soothing voice. Mori and Honey sat at their couch together, playing a little board game with two of the customers. Hikaru and Kaoru were at their own table, showing their own normal version of "brotherly love" that the girls fawned over. Haruhi also sat at his table, talking to the girls about his personal life and the way things were for him at home.

While the other hosts flirted and spoke with their fans, a slightly-taller-than-Haruhi figure stood leaned against a window. The dark blue silhouette of the boy's school uniform could be seen around him, his tie around his neck done perfectly after shown by Haruhi. His red hair was somewhat brushed down, but it naturally spiked lightly outwards from his head. Nearly yellow eyes watched as each of the individual hosts spoke with the girls who loved their charm and good looks. Even though he was now a host, Sol wasn't exactly accustomed to any of this attention. Not many girls knew that the red-haired boy was a host, but the few that did had been fond of him. As a matter of fact, the doors of the host club opened and three girls walked in, looking around the room. As they scanned, their eyes landed on him and smiles appeared on their faces as they walked over to him.

"Hey Sol! Why are you over here by yourself? Why not sit at your own table? You are a host, after all, " one of the girls stated, offering a kind and curious smile. "Is this any way to treat a new host, " said another, obviously being kind about it but also somewhat serious. "I'm surprised other girls haven't started visiting you like they do everyone else. Though it is nice being the only three girls that get to see you personally like this, " the last girl said, giggling at the last part.

He had to admit, being told that someone was fond of coming to see him was somewhat comforting, despite his loner appearance. He did enjoy company occasionally. Since he was going to have to see the other boys of the host club every day from now on, it was nice seeing some new faces, even if the host club faces were new to him too.

"I'm fine. I don't need a table. I don't really see myself as a host, " Sol pointed out, seeing how the others acted. All of them had their own way of flirting with these girls and showing them how much charm a rich boy could produce. Most of his life Sol didn't have very much experience with girls, especially not younger ones. He didn't know how to flirt or what to talk about with a girl to entertain her. Somehow, Haruhi had managed it. He had learned that Haruhi was the most recent member of the club right before himself. Haruhi had managed to become an instant hit among the girls of the school without even really trying. Sol wouldn't be like that. How in the world would he manage to get girls to be fond of him. It wasn't that he actually wanted girls to fawn over him. But the more girls that came to see him the closer he was to being able to leave. Being a host wasn't his plan when he came to this school and that wasn't about to change now.

To be honest, Sol didn't have much of a plan for the school. He was accepted so suddenly that he didn't even know what to go there for. Since he didn't even know that he had signed up for it, it was a bit of a shock when he got a letter saying he was accepted. What for, he didn't know. Honestly, if it really was his family back at his old home that signed him up for this, he didn't want to know what he was suppose to do here. Whatever it was, it was more than likely something he didn't want.

As he was lost in his thoughts the boy didn't hear that he was being spoken to. "-ol? Sol, are you in there?" As he came back to his senses, he noticed Haruhi standing in front of him, the girls from his table gone. Did he really get lost in his thoughts while these girls were talking to him? Usually he paid attention, but maybe it was just everything that had been going on lately.

"S-Sorry. I was lost in thought. What did you say?" He stood straight up, no longer leaning against the wall, and looked to see if it was just those three girls and Haruhi around. While it was just them, he felt eyes staring him down, but he didn't know from where. When he looked around the room, he caught sight of Tamaki, staring him down with determined yet blank eyes, almost as if his usually violet eyes were now just white circles with a black outline. Shaking his head a little, he turned back to Haruhi, trying to avoid that feeling he was getting from the peeping host.

"I said you don't have to stand over here by yourself. You can get your own table, you know. Or you could sit at mine and we can share guests, " he offered, smiling towards Sol, as well as the new host's three fans. As he had said before, Sol didn't feel like a host. He still felt like he just came here to talk to a couple of girls and leave. While he was constantly reminded of the pot he broke when he first arrived, he still felt as if they were trying to make him stay on their own. Haruhi had been the one to help explain what was going on and what this club was. He was told of how the club was first created, how Haruhi himself had ended up joining the club, and what these "host types" were that they all had. Somehow, Sol being the Shy Type didn't fit in his opinion, but everyone else agreed, so he couldn't fight it. But Haruhi had also explained how originally he had no intension of staying with the club, but after he had repaid a debt that he owed them that took a long time of hosting to pay off, he had grown attached and decided to stay. Maybe Sol would be that way. Somehow he doubted it, though.

"I'm fine. I don't need a place to sit, " he said in a somewhat quiet voice before looking out of the window towards where the gardens next to the school were. "I can see this view from here, not from a table."

As he said this, the three girls who had requested him came to look at what he saw. Below the window they could see one of the multiple gardens that were around the school. It had a variety of colorful flowers, bushes that were shaped into different animals and shapes, as well as small fountains and streams going through it. From where the group stood, the garden was pretty, but not as much it would have been up close. Sol hadn't really explored the school grounds that much, so he hadn't been to any of the gardens or areas around the school, only inside. Yet, seeing that large garden and the looks of awe and happiness on the girls' faces convinced him that maybe he should do so soon. When he looked over at the girls, each of them seemed almost hypnotized by the garden. Maybe it was their first year to the school as well? Despite his thoughts and questioned, his yellow eyes glanced over to Haruhi, who motioned towards the girls with a smile, encouraging him to try to connect.

"I-If you ladies would like...m-maybe I could ask if I can t-take you down to the gardens tomorrow...I-if you would want that, " he asked, shifting his fingers a little nervously and unable to really hold back small stutters in his voice. As soon as he said the words, all three pairs of eyes were locked on him, all brightening within an instant and smiles appearing on their faces.

"Would you really? Thank you so much, Sol! We can't wait to come back tomorrow, then!"

"Yeah, this will be our first time seeing one of the gardens up close!"

"Thank you so much!"

As the three girls walked towards the door, getting ready to go to their classes with cheerful smiles on their faces, Sol couldn't help but smile himself. He then felt a hand pat the top of his back, a voice coming into his ears that he knew wasn't there before. "Great job, man! That was perfect! You got the girls excited to come back. We'll turn you into a host yet, " came Tamaki's voice right behind him, causing Sol to slightly jump forward and turn. Though, hearing those words made him look back at the girls as they left. Was I really the one that made them want to come back here?

"Maybe all the hosts can take some of their guests to the garden, tomorrow. It could be a Host Club event! We can tell all the-" Despite Tamaki's ideas being told in words, Sol couldn't look away from the door. The red-haired boy had never been good with girls. He never really played with them as a kid, nor was he ever really allowed to go near them, so he wasn't sure how to act around them. So seeing how just him speaking to them and offering to walk them to the garden made their faces light up with joy, it almost felt comforting. Maybe that was why these boys did what they did every day. They enjoyed seeing girls walk out of the club full of happiness and smiles on their face, all because of them. Sol couldn't deny that, even for himself, seeing those smiles was a wonderful feeling.

And there it is for you. I do plan to get back into this since I haven't updated it in...what, 3 years now. But don't worry, I will try to get quite a bit written. Some more chapters are gonna be added soon, if not every other day.
