"All right men! All of you get ready! Our guests will be arriving soon!"

Tamaki's voice rang through the yard next to the school. The men of the host club were wearing clothes normally not worn there. Instead of the usual blue uniforms they wore inside, each of the men were wearing white and black suits, almost like those of a butler. Honey sat on Mori's shoulders, trying to peek around the corner at the garden where they would be hosting their guests for the day. Kyoya leaned against the school wall, writing on his clipboard and remaining silent. The twins both fixed each other's ties in unison, sticking their tongues out at each other with smiles. As for Haruhi, he was busy fixing Sol's tie, which he had never put on by himself before, since he wore his school uniform without one. Tamaki had told him that he wasn't allowed to go without a tie this time, so Haruhi had to help.

"S-Sorry that I can't do this myself. I've never really put on a tie before, " Sol said, looking away and scratching his head as Haruhi did his tie. He merely shook his head as he tied it, glancing over at the rest of the hosts. Sol felt very out of place. Despite the fact that his family, like the families of the other hosts, were rich, he had never took the life of luxury as these hosts seemed to. He had never worn a tie or a proper suit like the rest of them, so putting on a suit and wearing a tie and wearing those fancy shoes was all new to him. But it wasn't really the clothes that made him feel uncomfortable. It was the hair.

When Sol first joined the host club, his hair was mostly spiked outwards, not having been flattened or styled in any way. He never cared how his hair looked, but once the host club came along they made him flatten some parts of his hair. Even now, he stood on the grass with his hair somewhat flattened, not like Haruhi's, but more flared out like the twins. Being required to look handsome wasn't in Sol's daily routine.

"It's fine. Though I do have to ask. Kyoya said that your family owns a couple of companies and that they are like aristocracy, so wouldn't you have dressed up like this before? Usually rich people always try to look their best, " Haruhi asked, curious of how Sol wouldn't know how to do any of this on his own. All of this had been new for Haruhi at one point, but now it was normal. So it was kinda fun seeing how he once was with ties and suits, only from someone else.

"I don't really get involved in family affairs. I don't live with them anymore, so I've never been required to wear things like this. But what about you? You make it sound like your not one. Aren't you aristocracy yourself?" Sol didn't know much about most of the hosts. He knew that most, if not all of them, were rich and that they all had families who were well known. It hadn't taken long to know that the chairman of the school was related to Tamaki in some way, though he didn't know how. Kyoya's family was actually a common topic back when Sol lived with his family. The Hitachin twins, as well as Honey and Mori, all had well known, rich families as well. But he hadn't heard anything of Haruhi's family. Did his family own a newer company? He had never heard the last name Fujioka before.

Haruhi shook his head as he finished with Sol's tie, taking a small step back. "No. I'm what the people at this school call a commoner. I got in through a scholarship. I live with my dad. We don't have any sort of company or anything. I'm just able to go to school here." That was a surprise. Sol turned and looked at Haruhi with wide eyes. How had a commoner managed to get into this school, scholarship or not? Even though he wanted to ask more questions, a signal from Honey, who was now at the corner of the wall to the right of the club, was let out, signaling that the guests were coming.

Each of the host members lined up, each waiting for their guests to turn around the corner. When they did, they heard gasps of surprise from the girls as they saw the eight boys standing in a row, black and white suits and flowers in their hands, forced there by Tamaki. Each one of the hosts held three or four red roses, one for each of the guests that were coming to visit them. As the girls separated and went to their chosen hosts, all the girls were handed a rose, including the three girls who had went to Sol. He handed one to each of them, smiles appearing on their faces. Before long, the hosts walked the girls down a thin walkway around the corner of the school to wear the garden, visible from the club windows, was set up.

The entrance to the garden almost looked like a wedding altar, green vines twirling around a few metal bars that made an arch. When they all entered the garden, inside there were varieties of flowers everywhere. There were many different colors, all of which seemed to be put in sections. Each host had appeared to drift towards whatever color they planned to host by. Tamaki had gone for white, Kyoya for purple, Mori and honey to pink and what seemed to be dark blue, Hikaru and Kaoru towards light blue and orange, and Haruhi towards red. As each of them drifted off, Sol now had to choose where he would take his own guests. Deciding to be different, he instead went towards where he saw a small stream going through the garden. He reached down to make sure the grass wasn't wet before taking a seat, looking at the three girls who came along. Each of them sat in a half circle around him, mesmerized by the stream.

"I..um...t-the other hosts chose flower colors to figure out where they went. D-Did you girls want a c-certain color, as well?" The boy scratched his head and looked down at the stream, unsure whether it even mattered. Since he was being forced to be in this club, he figured he had to follow what the other boys did. But this time he had chosen something different and felt as though these girls would notice, but apparently they didn't.

"No, that's alright. This spot is very pretty!"

"Though I noticed them choosing colors, too. Each of the hosts seem to have their own color that suits them best."

"You're right. But what would Sol's be?"

As the question was brought up, all three pairs of eyes locked on Sol, staring him down while thoughts rushed through their heads. Sol felt himself nearly start to sweat, being the center of attention. It was fine when the girls would just look at him when they were speaking, but being stared at in silence made him slightly uncomfortable. He didn't have the guts to say that to them, but it was still his thought. While two of them remained staring, one of the girls, with long brown hair and blue eyes, began examining the different colors that were in the garden. She glanced at Sol once again before continuing her search. It didn't take long before her face lit up, looking back at him with excited eyes.

"Red and yellow!"

Sol and the other two girls looked at her in confusion. She giggled before pointing at a group of flowers that had no hosts around them. There were multiple different types, but each of them was both red and yellow in different patterns. When the other two girls asked why, she had an answer immediately, looking back over at Sol.

"Don't you see? The other hosts have flowers that fit their appearance and personality. For appearance, Sol has red hair and yellow eyes, so it fits. As for personality, you are shy at first, but maybe you open up more. You've opened up a little since we first met you. You were never able to look any of us in the eye when we met. But now you can, " she stated, looking Sol right in the eyes. As much as he didn't want to admit it, she had a point. A both red and yellow flower did fit his appearance. He wasn't sure about the personality she described, but maybe it was true and he didn't realize it?

"Well...do I absolutely have to have a color? Is it like a requirement in this club?" Each of the girls shook their heads, but they explained that each host was basically represented by a color, which was usually the color of flower that was given to the club customers when they left or during special events. It didn't seem extremely important, but the three girls seemed fond of the idea, as did the other girls who came to the club. There were multiple occasions when he heard customers ask for certain colored flowers from the other hosts. Maybe it would be a good idea.

Sol stood from where he sat, walking over to the flowers that the girl had motioned to. As he looked at the different types of flowers, he knew that the host club was known for their roses. He had a feeling that there would be no roses in that color, but he was surprised. In the middle of many types was one single red and yellow rose. He reached down and gently pulled the flower from the bush, removing any of the thorns that were attached to the stem. Once he made sure there were none, he broke off an inch or two, making the flower look just right. He then walked back over to the three girls, kneeling down on one knee in front of the girl who had brought up the flower color. Without even thinking or realizing what he was doing, he pushed a section of her hair away from her ear, pushing the stem of the rose onto her ear and pushing the hair back down. When he was done, he came out of the small trance he had been in and looked to find that the girl's cheeks were pure red, staring at him with wide eyes.

"I..I uh..I-I'm sorry. I d-didn't mean to get so close I just...a-as a thank you...f-for coming up with the color, " he stammered, stumbling backwards onto the grass, looking anywhere but at the girl. The other two girls' cheeks were pink as they watched the scene. For a moment, all was silent except for the distant voices of the other hosts and the gentle sound of the stream. Not long after, the other two girls squealed, getting close to examine the rose that now rested on the girl's ear. The girl herself looked towards the ground, a smile on her face and her face still red, full of embarrassment.

"T-Thank you, Sol."
