After Haruhi's secret had finally been revealed to Sol, he couldn't help but feel like things were different between them. He had always thought that he had a guy friend that he could relate to in Haruhi, but now that he knew she was a girl, he almost felt closer to her. Se trusted him enough to tell him her secret herself, unlike the other hosts who, as he learned, had to find out on their own without being told. He was curious as to how the guys found that out on their own. Kyoya had known from the start, she hadn't let the twins help her change into her uniform for the first time, Mori had picked her up, Honey had basicallt guessed, and Tamaki had walked in on her while she was changing. It was an interesting mix of ways to learn, really. At least Sol didn't have to try.
Sol had hung out with Haruhi for a few hours, talking about things that had happened while she was in the host club. She told him how they had all those issues with Tamaki not to long ago and how it was revealed to most of the school that she was a girl. Haruhi had a very interesting time when she was paying off her debt. Once that all ended, she couldn't help but stay in the club. She had grown attached to the boys. The two of them had a cup or two of tea before Sol stood, thanked Haruhi for patching him up and the tea, and went out the door. She had said that she had to go out shopping, for that was what she was heading to do when Sol ran into her. He went down the stairs of the apartment, getting his bike and his bag from where he had left them. He got on his bike and began riding off when Haruhi was walking out the door.
It took around an hour to make all of his deliveries before he finally managed to get back to his apartment. He hooked up his bike and went inside, but as he closed the door behind him, he heard someone clear their voice. As he turned, he saw his roommate, Gin, standing half-way through his room door. "Somebody's late, " he snapped, brown eyes glaring over at Sol. Sol took off his hood and his shoes, setting them to the side before walking towards his own room, which was behind Gin's from the door. But as he went to pass, Gin half-rushed forward and pushed Sol backwards, stepping out of the room completely with Sol's Ouran uniform hanging from his clutched hand.
"So when were you gonna tell me about this? Is this where you have been disappearing to every week day?! You're suppose to be working! And why in the world would you be going to a rich-person school, huh? You're poor, you can't afford this crap! What, is you're family rich or something?! Are you keeping se-" before Gin could continue his growing rage, Sol stepped forward and almost seemed to let out a growl.
"Yes, I am poor. You think it was my choice to go to this school. My parents are the ones that signed me up for this. My parents have a lot of money, but that doesn't mean that I do!" he stated, anger growing in his voice as well.
Gin threw the uniform to the ground, ramming his shoulder into Sol's chest, knocking him back against the apartment door. "We agreed that we would help each other! You've been working to get us money for how long now and we have gotten nowhere!? Now you decide to tell me that you're parents are rich! If you would have told me that we could be living in luxury! But no, you had to go off and go to some prissy school with rich people and blow what money we do ha-"
Once again, Sol didn't let him finish. Only this time, he didn't just step forward. He pushed himself off the door and charged into Gin, tackling him to the ground. Both of them exchanged fists to the face and to the stomach, growling and yelling at each other. They both slammed into each other, running each other against the wall, throwing each other to the ground. At one point Gin ha actually rammed his shoulder into Sol's stomach, knocking him back and onto a table they had in front of the tv, which had glass as part of the surface.
As he fell on the table, the sound of glass shattering was heard through the apartment building. Sol couldn't help but let out a scream as he felt pieces of glass poke into his back. Footsteps were heard in the apartment above them, ones that sounded frantic. Growling at Sol, Gin grabbed his jacket and ran out of the apartment, pushing the door open and running as fast as he could. While he did this, someone else had heard the screams as well. Haruhi was walking back from shopping when she heard Sol's scream. She rushed passed her apartment, dropping her bags of groceries and running towards the apartment that Sol said he lived in. She watched as a boy with blood on his hands went running out of an open apartment door, going as fast as he could away. Haruhi ran up the stairs to the open apartment, running inside to see Sol laying through a shattered table.
-Small time skip-
Sol laid on a towel on the floor of Haruhi's living room. Haruhi's dad, who had came home not to long after Haruhi found Sol, had helped Haruhi get Sol over to their apartment as quick as they could. While Haruhi was grabbing more towels and cloths, her father, who was still dressed as a woman, was checking each of the injuries. Sol had multiple bruises on his face and a black eye. He also had to made sure that Sol was laying on his stomach, for there were small pieces of glass sticking out of his back. Haruhi had explained that Sol was the newest host in the host club and that he lived across the street from them.
Haruhi's dad pushed the back of Sol's shirt up to get a better look at the glass wounds. Thankfully, a vest that Sol was wearing had blocked some of the glass from getting directly to his skin, but he had a few pieces in his sides and his lower back. He somewhat turned Sol's unconscious body over and went to get the vest off, but stopped dead in his tracks just as Haruhi came back into the room.
"Haruhi, dear...you said that this was a new host correct?"
"Yes, why does that matter right now?!"
"Haruhi...this isn't a boy." As Ranka said this, Haruhi suddenly looked confused and worried all at once. But then she saw what her dad meant. She saw that Sol's vest wasn't just for protection. She wasn't the only one who had been hiding her gender.
-Another small time skip-
Sol's eyes just barely opened. It was dark all around him, but he could see flashes of light occasionally. When he opened his eyes a little more, he realized that he was in a room. The last time that he was awake, he was stuck in the middle of a wooden table frame with broken glass poking at him. When the memory of what happened came back to him, he suddenly felt pain all over. His left eye was sore, his cheeks were both sore and hurt to touch, his hands had bandages on them, and he felt small areas of pain all along his back. Where was he?
He let out a painful groan, trying to push himself upwards to see, but a light came on in another room and a figure peered through the door. When they saw that he was awake, he watched as they turned on the light and Haruhi was standing there.
"Sol! No, don't get up, you need to stay laying down, " she said, lightly pushing him back to where he was laying.
"H-Haruhi? W-What am I doing here? What h-happened?"
"I was coming home from shopping and I heard you screaming at your apartment. When I ran over there was some boy running off and I found you stuck through the middle of a table. My dad had just got home and he helped me bring you over here. We were going to take you to the hospital but...we wouldn't have been able to pay for whatever they had to do. What in the world happened?!"
Honestly, Sol couldn't quite remember himself. He remembered him and Gin getting into a big argument and it escalated from there. Now, he realized that he also had bandages around his torso. He also noticed something else that caused his eyes to go wide. His vest was gone. Suddenly, his heart started beating at rapid pace, looking over and seeing the vest on the table in the middle of the room. How...? Haruhi noticed that he was staring with wide eyes and looked where he was looking, then turning back with him with a slightly confused face.
"Sol...why didn't you tell me that you were really a girl?"
Finally! Sorry for not updating yesterday(again). I had made the document but had no ideas come to mind. I wrote all of this today. Today was suppose to be the day when I update my other current story, but it looks like that won't be happening.
I am gonna give a small update for those who follow this story. If you didn't know before, I had a little schedule going where I would update this story one day, my other story(Snake with no Fangs) the next, back to this one, ect. But i'm starting to see that it's harder to do that than I thought. Writing a chapter and updating it the same day for both stories gets a little tricky when I have other things going on. So from now on this will be my schedule:
Hidden roses update - writing day - SwnF update - writing day - Hidden roses update - ect.
I'm gonna give myself a day between updates so that I can actually get my ideas written out and not have to worry about hurrying up to get the chapters done and update them the same day. Don't worry, I am definitely still updating this story, as well as my other one.
For those that follow both my stories(if any), tomorrow(4-7) is gonna be my first writing day for SwnF. I will update it the day after and the day after that will be my writing day for this story. I hope everyone doesn't mind the change!
Thanks for reading!
