Things at the cafe had gone generally well. Yasu was still confused once the hosts were around. At one point he had stopped to question Sol about why these other students thought that she was a boy. She had explained to him everything about her appearance and some of the things that had happened.

It was very interesting telling her story to her older brother. She had waited until the host club had left to tell Yasu about her experiences before joining the host club. She told him about living with Gin, meeting Haruhi, breaking the vase and becoming part of the Host Club, the fight between her and Gin, Haruhi and her father helping her and also finding out that she was a girl, and how, as far as she knew, none of the other hosts knew her gender. All of it was so much to explain, but Yasu listened intently, both of them finishing their drinks, paying, and beginning to leave the cafe by the time she was finished.

"It seems like you've been having a very chaotic time since you joined the school. I'm sorry that all of this happened to you. So do you still have those wounds? And does Haruhi really not mind you living with her? I could easily give you some money so that you have-"

"No Yasu. I already told you before. I don't need help money wise from you or anyone else. Haruhi and her dad allowed me to stay. They wanted to make sure that my wounds healed before I went back to doing any major work or moving. That, and me and Haruhi have become friends." As the thought of Haruhi being at home, most likely worried sick out of her mind at how Sol hadn't come home yet, she had to chuckle. Even though she felt herself smiling, Yasu still seemed concerned.

"Your wounds...were they bad? Did you go to the hospital? Did you get any kind of treatment?"

Those were questions that Sol honestly did not want to answer at all. If she told him how deep her wounds were, the fact that she didn't go to the hospital, nor did she get any special treatment from a doctor, he would flip out and she would never get home until she was done with a hospital trip. "I am fine. The wounds weren't extremely bad. I didn't go to the hospital, but they wrapped bandages around me and cleaned the cuts and made sure that they don't get infected."

Despite her comforting words, he was still worried, and she knew it. But both of them tried to move it to the side, focusing more on being together instead of the hardships going on in her life. At this point it was around 5 o'clock. Even though the sun was still out, it was beginning to go down. Sol and Yasu had shared a few loving words, embraced each other, and went their separate ways. Sol went back to Haruhi's house as quick as she could, just to be greeted with a somewhat angry expression when she got to the door.

"Where have you been, Sol?! I was worried! I didn't see you at all after lunch and you didn't walk home with me like you always do. Where did you go?"

"It was my older brother that came to visit me at school. I haven't talked to or seen him in a long time, so we were together during school and when school ended we went to a cafe."

Knowing that Sol was out with a family member comforted Haruhi enough that she finally moved away from the door, letting Sol come inside. Her father still wasn't home yet, so Sol and Haruhi went to the living room, their usual tradition around this time of changing Sol's bandages beginning. Sol had taken off her shirt to show her bandages covering her stomach and arms, all of them being removed one at a time very carefully. On her arms there were many cuts from where her arms had scraped the broken glass when Gin pushed her through the glass table. Some of them were healing quickly, others still were red, but none of them were very deep. It was the cuts on her back and sides that were worse. There were some of the scratches that were small and had healed almost completely, but there were a few that were quite red and slightly open. They didn't constantly bleed like they did when she first got them, but if Sol moved to much or too quickly they could easily open further. Luckily, Haruhi had gotten used to cleaning wounds from the host club members getting hurt, her dad getting hurt, and occasionally hurting herself on accident. Granted, she had never taken care of giant wounds across torsos or wounds that were nearly the size of her hand. But she still kept them clean and protected from infection, which was a plus on her part.

While Haruhi patched up her wounds, Sol told Haruhi about how close her and Yasutake were. She told her how Yasu was the one that would always defend her from their mother when she would get angry and wanted to take it out on Sol. She also chose to mention how many times that Yasu had jumped in front of many smacks of the hand for Sol. Honestly, it was kind of scary. Sol had been a young child when all of this was happening. Her mother was so obsessed with money and business that she felt nearly nothing for anyone who couldn't keep her businesses and money-making going. She also seemed to believe that a girl wasn't able to run a business, or at least any female child that she had couldn't. How in the world was anybody so willing to abuse their child just because of what gender they were? And how did nobody else see or know about this abuse and report it?

Haruhi wasn't sure how anyone could be so heartless, but she tried her best not to think about it. She finished with the bandages and stood, allowing Sol to get changed, before going to the kitchen to make dinner. While she did that, Sol went over to her corner of the living room, getting out her favorite outfit that she had bought the other day at the market. She put on the black shirt with short gray sleeves, as well as the button up white shirt with the long sleeves and the bent-over collar. She pulled on the black pants, replacing the school uniform pants she had on all that time and setting them to the side. She went to the kitchen to help Haruhi make dinner, both of them spending the rest of the night eating and watching tv.

In the morning they both had to go to school. Haruhi had heated up leftovers from the night before, both her and Sol eating before they got dressed in their uniforms and walked to school. Neither of them spoke as they walked passed Sol's old apartment, which at that moment was being cleaned out. Whether police were cleaning it or the landlord, all the furniture was being moved out, including the broken table. When the table was removed, Sol looked away, but she did take notice that there were bags of clothes sitting next to the steps, most likely both her and Gin's clothes being sent somewhere to be sold or given away. As much as Sol wanted to stop them and take some of her clothes back, there wasn't much she could do now. She planned on getting new clothes anyway, since the only ones she had was her school uniform, her outfit she wore almost every day, and the clothes she had on that night that, despite being clean, were still ripped. Haruhi said she was going to sew the rips, but Sol didn't really want those clothes as much, since they would bring back memories.

As the two "cross-dressers" arrived to school, they were greeted by the usual girls who knew them from the host club. The girls didn't approach them, but they said their hellos, saving all the fussing and fangirling until the club actually opened during school. While they walked, they heard footsteps approaching from behind them, as well as a hand falling on both of their heads. Both of them turned their heads towards each other, looking out of the corner of their eyes to see the twins behind them.

"Hey you two, " stated the twin who had their hand resting on Haruhi's head, which was most likely Hikaru.

"You guys are always walking to school and home together. What's the deal?" asked Kaoru, his hand still on Sol's head.

On one hand, neither Sol or Haruhi wanted the host club to know about their situation. Considering the other hosts still saw Sol as a boy, they would likely flip out over the fact that they were currently living together, especially Tamaki, which was not a conversation they wanted to deal with. On the other hand, the twins had never given either of them a reason not to trust them. Haruhi was closer to the twins than Sol, but he had still found reason to show some trust in them, seeing as though they were two of the first people to approach him during school, even if it was because of Haruhi.

"Look, I want to tell you guys, but both of you would have to promise to keep it a secret from everyone else. We don't need anyone in the club finding out, " Haruhi sighed, slightly tired of holding back the secret, even from the twins. It was easy to keep secrets from the rest of the club, but not the twins. They had that way of sensing when something was going on.

Both twins nodded their heads quickly, looking at the two expectantly with excited eyes, happy to get in on some secrets. Being required to keep the secret from Tamaki was even more tempting.

As Haruhi was about to tell them, Sol looked over at her out of the corner of his yellow eye, wondering just how much of their secret she would tell them. Would she tell them about what happened between Gin and himself? Would she say that Sol was really a girl? Or about the wounds that he kept secret beneath his uniform that limited nearly every move he made?

"Sol is staying with me for a while. I'm not going to get into every detail, but there were...issues, at his old home, so he is going to stay with me for a little while, until he gets another place to stay." Whew. Sol let out the breath that he didn't know he was holding. Thankfully, she hadn't told the twins about the major parts of the secret, other than them living together.

While the twins did seem a bit surprised, they looked at each other which slight confusion before looking back with smiles. "Thanks for trusting us enough to let us know. We won't tell the others. Promise, " stated both the twins with smiles, winking and putting a finger over both of their mouths. As they stood their for a moment, Sol then realized that both of the twins still had their hands on Sol and Haruhi's heads. Sol shook his head backwards a little, moving Kaoru's hand off. Kaoru chuckled and rustled his hair before the twins moved passed them, motioning for them to follow. Both Haruhi and Sol followed behind them, going straight to class.

Most of the day was pretty boring, as to be expected. Nothing special was really going on in any of their classes, so it felt like forever when the twins, Haruhi, and Sol finally arrived at the host club.

"-going swimming!"

As the four walked in, they heard the last two words of a sentence coming from Tamaki's mouth. When they got inside, Tamaki whipped around from where he stood, looking at the four of them with "angry" eyes. "There you four are! You just missed out on our plan that we have decided!"

Honestly, that statement alone scared all four of them. Plan? What kind of plan?

"Tomorrow is Saturday! Sooooo, we are going swimming!"

All four of them looked at him, question marks all around them. "Swimming? Really Tamaki? It isn't even summer yet, " said Haruhi, shaking her head slightly. But she was surprised to find that both the twins turned to her and Sol, the same puppy dog eyes that Tamaki always used to get what he wanted on their faces. Did they really want to go swimming?

"We could still go to the beach! Or an indoor pool!" Even Honey seemed excited, holding Usa-Chan in his hands with a smile, motioning with his arms the action of swimming while on Mori's shoulders. Haruhi was still kind of against the idea, but Honey's suggestions did lighten her mood.

Haruhi let out a sigh, looking towards Tamaki and the twins. "Fine then. We can go swimmi-" but she stopped as she felt a tug on her sleeve. As the twins and Tamaki directed their attentions elsewhere, Haruhi looked over to Sol, who had a grip on her boy's uniform, a look of concern and a hint of fear in his eyes. For a moment she was confused, but then she remembered. Sol's wounds! She couldn't swim like that! They would know something is up! And they still think that she is a boy!

Haruhi let out another sigh, a slight headache growing at the back of her head. She probably just ended any and all confidence that Sol had showed up to this point. Even though Sol had done a good job up til this point of hiding his true identity, tomorrow would likely be the day that the rest of the club found out. That is, if Haruhi didn't come up with a plan.

I will admit. The ending of this chapter got me pumped up, so there may or may not be two chapters posted around the same time. . . .
