A/N: 10 days after the last chapter.

Arizona sat at Joe's bar with a near empty glass of white wine in front of her. Sofia was staying the night with the Shepherds as a treat for Zola behaving so well now that she was a big sister.
Arizona knew Callie was at the other side of the bar, but she did her very best not to keep looking over. The shape of the bar did make it more difficult not to though, but she decided she had to control herself.
That control was tested when she saw Ben Greer walk over to Callie with all the swagger he could muster. She wanted to break his face with the biggest brick she could find for putting his hands on Callie. She knew it was hypocritical of her after what she did. She is the reason Callie pulled Ben into the on-call room she assumed they had used.
Still.
Ben's face was demanding to be hit by a brick.
Arizona's eyes were glued to Callie and Ben as she watched Callie reject the resident. He looked more disappointed than angry as he walked back to where some of the other residents were.
"Hey Joe," Arizona called when he came closer. "Can you send a shot of tequila to Dr. Torres? The good stuff."
"You got it, Dr. Robbins," Joe said with a smile. He could tell by the fact they were sitting apart, and hadn't come in together in weeks, something was up but like always he kept out of it.
Callie looked up when Joe walked over and set a shot down in front of her red wine glass. "I didn't order this, Joe."
"From the blonde across the bar," Joe smiled and pointed out Arizona.
Callie just laughed when she saw who sent her the shot. "Send her a shot of Jameson for me?"
"You got it, Dr. Torres," Joe smiled before delivering the drink.
Arizona and Callie kept sneaking glances at each other long after the shorts they ordered for each other were taken and second glasses of wine ordered. The pair caught each other a few times but mostly they traded off looking at each other when the other looked away.
Finally Arizona took her phone out. Maybe having the barrier of a device and distance could aid in a little harmless flirting? Worst case Callie told her to stop. Right?
Arizona: Ortho, right?
Callie raised her eyebrow when she saw the screen light up with Arizona's name. She chuckled when she saw the question. It reminded her of a different time right here in this bar.
Callie: Yeah, right, hey.
Callie decided to play along. What harm could a little bit of levity do? She missed this, missed when Arizona and she tried to make the other smile instead of just wading through all the crazy crap they had to deal with.
Arizona: I'm Arizona Robbins, peds surgery. You look really pretty tonight.
Callie: You do too. You have a kind of magic smile when your dimples come out, did you know that, Arizona Robbins, peds surgery?
The pair both looked up when Arizona read Callie's reply and shared a smile before looking back down to see where Arizona would take it now.
Arizona: I've been told that once or twice. Your smile is pretty magical too. And your eyes, I think I could look into your eyes forever.
Callie: Forever is a really long time.
Arizona: Yeah, it is. But some things last forever. They might get beaten up on the way to forever but they can't go away. Like falling for your one true love.
Callie took a drink of her wine to try and figure out what to say to that. She decided to keep going down this road. It was the most honest they had been in weeks.
Callie: Do you really believe that?
Arizona: With all my heart.
Callie finished her wine before tossing enough to cover her tab and what she saw of Arizona's. She slid her jacket on before picking one her phone to send one last message for the night.
Callie: I don't know if I do anymore. But I really want to. Goodnight, Arizona Robbins, peds surgery.
