Vlad King's Green Bean

Chapter sixty-two: This is war, part six- a son wanting to avenge his mom

"Hey now! What do we have here but Mr. Number One himself!"

To the worry of the heroes at the ruins of what had once been Jaku General Hospital, Dabi had shown up, riding on the back of Gigantomachia with Spinner, Toga, Mr. Compress, Skeptic, Rappa, Agari, and Revy as well. To make matters worse, the dragon villain Felgrand was coming in as well, and would catch up within moments, but first it seemed that Dabi wanted to take some time to taunt the heroes, specifically Endeavor who was still being cooled off by Todoroki. Seeing the youngest child of Endeavor with the Flame Hero did not escape Dabi's notice.

"And what's this?" Dabi went on, "You got Shoto with you as well! Talk about a family gathering!"

"Now's not exactly the best time to remind me that I'm related to Endeavor, you villain!" Todoroki called back up to where Dabi looked down at everybody at.

Hearing the comeback from Todoroki, hearing the hint of annoyed anger in Todoroki's tone with said annoyance not aimed at himself, piqued Dabi's interest. "Oh? You having some issues with daddy dumbest?" Dabi asked. A smirk appeared on Dabi's face, showing hints that he knew what might be the cause of Todoroki not being too happy with his pro hero father at the moment. "...This is about the incident where Endeavor fought three of the girls in my inner circle outside of that salon, isn't it?"

Hearing Dabi mention that incident specifically caught the attention of everyone there. "...You know about that incident?" Nejire cried out up to Dabi.

"He just said three girls in his inner circle were harassed by Endeavor in that incident," Bakugo said, "So yeah, I'm pretty sure the burnt chicken nugget motherfucker up there knows about it!"

"Ah yes, I do know all too well about than incident," Dabi said, "The incident where Toga, La Brava, and Nagant were doing a simple snack run when they were spotted by Endeavor and sub sequentially attacked." Turning to look at Endeavor, Dabi said, "And the news report on the matter said it was the girls who caused that fire that killed ten of the eleven people in the salon at the time! Three girls, none of which have fire quirks, or any means to start a fire!" Dabi's smirking sneer turned into an unamused frown as he looked down at where Endeavor was at. "...Your buttfuck buddies in the HPSC are really good at sweeping your shit under the rug, aren't they?"

Immediately, Todoroki stopped using the ice half of his quirk to help Endeavor cool off faster, having him rely on what ice still was there. "...So. It really WAS you."

Endeavor, despite how he needed Todoroki to cool him off so he could rejoin the fight quicker, was unable to find it in himself to be demanding. He was humbled, worried, apologetic even. "...Shoto, listen. I-"

"You killed my mom!" Todoroki yelled, "Killed her through your sheer brazen recklessness!"

It wasn't just Todoroki who was starting to lose his temper towards the Flame Hero. To Izuku's worry, Bakugo was also starting to take dangerous steps towards the winded and overheated Endeavor. "...At least save enough of that sack of shit for me, IcyHot."

"Kacchan," Izuku said, "I don't know what Endeavor did, but-"

"It's not just IcyHot's mom who was killed in that incident that was caused by that flaming sack of shit in front of us, Deku! My mom was also killed in that incident that day!" Bakugo yelled, tears threatening to stream down the sides of his face from the corners of his eyes.

Izuku was shocked into silence by what Bakugo had just yelled; not only was Todoroki's mom Rei killed in that incident, but so was Bakugo's mom Mitsuki. Mitsuki, the woman who had been friends with Izuku's mom Inko since before Izuku or Bakugo were born, the woman who was basically an aunt to Izuku growing up and was as nice to him as Inko typically was. No wonder Izuku hadn't heard from Mitsuki since before Christmas of last year, and now the green haired boy knew that he wouldn't be hearing Mitsuki Bakugo ever again. No one would.

Not even Mitsuki's son Katsuki, who looked ready to rip Endeavor's head off if no one else did it first. "Boys, don't go falling for the villain's lies!" Hizashi called out, "He's clearly just trying to get you to turn on Endeavor to make things easier for him and his crew to sort out here!"

Turning to look at Hizashi, Dabi said, "Don't bother trying to help with keeping up the lie, Present Mic. It's painfully obvious that there's no way anyone but Endeavor could have caused that incident. Why else do you think that the official statement on the matter from the HPSC refuses to identify the three villains Endeavor had chased off that day?"

"Because if people knew that the villains in question were Toga, La Brava, and Nagant," Spinner called down, "Then they'd put the pieces together quicker and more easily and get it down that the whole mess is Endeavor's sin to bare! A sin that killed ten out of eleven people! Ten deaths that are solely the fault of the highest ranked pro hero Japan has right now! The HPSC had even browbeat and coached the lone survivor of the salon fire, some lady named Inko Midoriya, into giving their approved version of the incident in order to help cover Endeavor's mess!"

The present heroes were growing more and more shocked with what the villains atop Gigantomachia were saying. Even Izuku was finding it hard to hold back from punching Endeavor in the face right now, given he just learned that Endeavor was responsible for hospitalizing his mom before Christmas of last year, not to mention how the HPSC had bullied Inko into giving a report on the matter that pinned all the blame on the villains and shined a wholly positive light on Endeavor. Izuku felt that the main source of strength he was drawing from to hold back from hitting Endeavor was the fact that Inko was still alive.

Something that couldn't be said about Mitsuki who is Bakugo's mom, or Rei who is Todoroki's mom and Endeavor's wife.

Chuckling, Dabi went on, "But this is only one really crusty pair of underwear from the overflowing hamper of Endeavor's dirty laundry. Believe you me, all of Endeavor's dirty laundry will be made available to the public, as well as dirty laundry from a few other heroes."

"Like hell, villain!" Endeavor coughed, having cooled off somewhat and could quickly blitz and take out a villain or two, "You won't get away with your slandering! You and all villains like you will go down! Do your worst, Dabi!"

Endeavor's proclamation actually got a bit of a chuckle out of Dabi. "Oh?" Dabi said, "You're calling me by my alias? But why would you do that, especially as I've got a far more suitable name, one that ought to be familiar to you." The heroes then watched as Dabi took out a bottle of water and poured it all over his hair. To the surprise of the heroes, the black coloration of Dabi's hair was washing out, revealing that his real hair was white. When the coloration had finished washing out, everyone was very much surprised to see Dabi's real hair color, but none more so than Todoroki and especially Endeavor.

"...Please," Dabi said as he looked down at Endeavor, "Call me Toya. Call me by the name that you and mom had given me when I was born, dad."

Todoroki and Endeavor looked up at the now revealed to be Toya, shocked beyond words that Dabi had been their long thought to be dead brother and son this entire time. Holding his hands up, Dabi said, "I know, I know. Shocker, right? You know, I'd figure that my own family would be able to recognize me, despite the scarring I got and the dyed hair. But I guess it HAS been a while."

"There's..." Endeavor said, "...There's no way." Taking a forceful stance, Endeavor barked, "There's no way that you're Toya! How dare you mock the memory of my late son, you villain!"

Dabi, or Toya, laughed in response. "You really don't believe me? I can leave a sample of my blood to run a DNA test with. I also did a DNA test, comparing my blood to a sample of yours collected from where you and Majestic had fought Hood. Not sure if you'll believe that, but it came back with an over ninety-nine point ninety-nine percent match rate. And I'm not sure if you'll find the time, given that as we speak, all of your aforementioned dirty laundry is being aired out, the truth of your abuse and power-hungry madness over the years being made available to the people of Japan, if not the whole world."

...

All across Japan, various news stations were hijacked and were forced to air a prerecorded video of Dabi, where he reveals himself as the long thought to be dead Toya Todoroki. He soon made it known that, since becoming a villain, he had killed over thirty people; that's more than the number of (confirmed) kills that are attributed to the late Hero Killer. After citing his current kill count, Toya went on to explain why he had killed so many people, why he had turned to villainy, why he was on the verge of bringing the whole of Japan to its knees.

Endeavor.

Toya went on to describe all sorts of heinous acts that Endeavor in his quest to become the number one hero had done. Endeavor, getting to the point where he realized that not even he could surpass All Might in the rankings, decided to do so indirectly rather than directly by fathering an heir with a quirk powerful enough to surpass the Symbol of Peace. That's where the now late Rei Todoroki came in; Endeavor had essentially forced an arranged marriage between him and Rei, as he saw value in the ice quirk she had, figuring that it could compliment his Hellflame.

Endeavor had hoped for an heir that could use both strong fire AND strong ice, but first got the boy who would one day go on to be leader of the greatest army of villains Japan would ever know. Although Toya had a powerful fire quirk that rivaled and potentially even surpassed that of Endeavor's, leading the Flame Hero to use Toya as his heir, Toya's lack of resistance to heat due to inheriting his mother's ice-based constitution eventually led Endeavor to abandon Toya as the heir to surpass All Might. Toya had been born purely out of Endeavor's selfish desires and, like a bred-up battle creature who hatched from an egg with improper stats, was tossed aside when he proved to be insufficient for what the Flame Hero wanted.

Dabi, after revealing himself to be Toya, went on to attribute more or less everything to Endeavor; Dabi said that his father, as well as said father's greed and abuse, were the driving forces that led Toya into becoming Dabi. His acts of villainy, his twisted views on the pro hero saturated society that Japan lived and breathed, and all of the various atrocities Dabi either carried out directly or had carried out in his name. All of what Dabi said in the video, including presenting the results of a DNA test that he had done, was more or less shoved into the face of Japan at large.

...

"Face it, Endeavor!" Dabi shouted from where he stood atop on Gigantomachia, "Or should I say, face it dad! Thanks to my new confidant Skeptic for producing and broadcasting the video, your reputation is now shot to shit! But that wasn't too hard to do, given that a shit man is bound to have a shit reputation that needs to be covered up if he wants to pass for something that's actually nice to look at!"

"And it's not just Endeavor's dirty laundry being aired out," Skeptic said as he worked away on his laptop, "I'm also putting out the dirty laundry of a few other pro heroes, as well as the dirty laundry of the HPSC! And let me tell you, the HPSC is so foul, they actually accomplished the impossible and made even Endeavor look like a saint by comparison!"

"Their various cover ups aside," Dabi yelled, "The HPSC had carried out covert assassinations and framed assets that proved unable to be of more use to them! Nagant is an eyewitness to that and can attest to it! There's also how they made Majestic act as their spy to try to get cozy with me, and I even discovered he had lied about having Mirko come to the fight he and Endeavor had against Hood! He didn't 'lure her in for Felgrand to kill', he simply took advantage of Mirko showing up and getting her head ripped off, a show up he thought was random but in reality the HPSC sent her because they didn't want their spy in my ranks getting killed!"

The heroes were growing more and more shocked with what all Dabi was revealing, info he got in no small part to Skeptic's epic hacking skills. "And why not tread upon old grounds and go back to how the HPSC covered up Endeavor's mess from before Christmas," Dabi said, "The mess where he recklessly set a salon on fire, resulting in the deaths of ten of the eleven people inside, with one of said people who was killed by Endeavor's being his wife who is my mom!" Dabi held his hands with the palms aimed upwards towards the sky, letting out blasts of blue flames.

"One of your hero buddies tried lying and tricking me!" Dabi yelled, "I never truly fell for it but still! Then you went and killed ten people, one of which being the woman who not only married you but also gave birth to me! You know, at one point, I actually had wanted to kill my entire family! You and mom and all of my younger siblings! I even thought that a plan to get back at you would be to wait until Shoto became pro and achieved a high rank and kill him then, just to see the look you'd have on your face as a result! But I decided against that! I decided to not kill mom and my younger siblings! Do you wanna know why?"

Stopping the bursting of his flames, Dabi yelled, "Because I eventually got it that they were suffering under you just as much as I had! They were victims of the greed of Endeavor, same as me! What all that they did, even any manner of mistreatment I may have gotten, was all traced back to the flaming sack of shit who dared to call himself a pro hero, had dared to call himself a husband, a father, a family man!" Dabi then settled down, took a moment to catch his breath. "...It's why I've long since come to forgive mom and my younger siblings for what all any of them had done to me. I truly love and care for all of them again."

Suddenly, the pillars of blue flames sprung up from his still held up palms. "AND NOW, LIKE A GOOD SON, I WANT TO AVENGE THE DEATH OF MY MOM BY SEEING TO THE DEATH OF HER KILLER!" Dabi roared, his voice and rage burning just as brightly, going just as strong, as the pillars of blue flames that were raging up from the palms of his upheld hands, "AND WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT ENDEAVOR AND FRIENDS, I GOT THE EXECUTIONER COMING UP TO DO HIS JOB AND GIVE THE LOT OF US HERE ONE HELL OF A SHOW AT THE SAME TIME!"

"You..." Todoroki began, catching Dabi's attention, "...You don't want to kill Endeavor yourself, Toya?"

Smirking a bit, Dabi went on, "Oh Shoto, first off it actually feels kind of good to hear you address me in so familiar a manner, it makes me feel like I got some of my family back, second off you by what you said not only recognize me as family but at the same time refuse to recognize Endeavor as such and that gives me even more warm fuzzies, and third off the executioner I've got lined up to give Endeavor the Mirko treatment really wanted to do the job."

"Give Endeavor the Mirko treatment?" Nejire called up, "What are you on about, vill-"

"ENDEAVOR!"

Nejire was cut off when Felgrand bellowed the Flame Hero's name at the top of his lungs, signaling his arrival onto the scene. The dragon villain, in his standard size so he was although still pretty big much smaller than Gigantomachia right now, landed on the ground, glaring murderously at where Endeavor stood. Todoroki, acting more like he wanted a good seat for a show, quickly jumped back and landed with the other hero interns, leaving Endeavor alone as Felgrand looked primed to kill, and Nejire was now getting an idea on what Dabi meant by Felgrand 'giving Endeavor the Mirko treatment'.

"Felgrand, my good man!" Mr. Compress called down from where he was on Gigantomachia's back, "What took you so long?"

The dragon villain, never taking his eyes off of Endeavor, loosed a guttural, dragonic snarling growl. "...Mourning."

"Mourning?" Spinner repeated, "Mourning who?"

"The Dragon Hero," Felgrand replied, those three words instantly eliciting crying out of Nejire, "I had vanquished her in battle, out of respect for her being one of the few pro heroes of Japan who was an actual hero."

Even when Uraraka began to join Nejire in crying, Izuku despite wanting to cry himself turned to look at Felgrand. "You killed Ryukyu?!" the green haired boy exclaimed.

Felgrand nodded once. "...Yes. And I truly wished that she didn't require it of me. She said she wanted me to kill her if it meant I was also going to kill Endeavor. She said she would never forgive me if I had spared her and then go on to kill Endeavor." The dragon villain then unfurled his wings. "Believe you me," Felgrand went on, "That was the first kill that I had scored in which I took no pleasure! But I'm about to score a kill that will fill me with pride!" Faster than any of the heroes, or anyone else there period, could keep up with, Felgrand flew in a straight line towards the weakened Endeavor, grabbed him up, flew up a bit, and turned so that his allies saw the front of him.

"Enji Todoroki!" Felgrand bellowed as he held the helpless Endeavor in his grasp, "This battlefield shall be the executioner's block at which you lose your head! It shall serve as the stage upon which people will bare witness to your ultimate punishment for what all evil you have done! Your blood shall be used to paint a mural of catharsis to bring comfort and closure to the families that you in your mad greed and brazen recklessness had severely and irrevocably torn asunder!" Loosing a low tone guttural growl, Felgrand said, "Enji Todoroki will be unable to use his quirk for the next hour."

Endeavor immediately felt his quirk being suppressed, suppressed to the point that he felt he never had his quirk to begin with. This wasn't the first time that it had happened to him, although a much longer time limit had been set. The Flame Hero supposed that Felgrand had set a much shorter time limit this time because it wasn't going to be much of a problem anyway, given that he saw it as Felgrand's free hand was beginning to reach for his head. "Yes," Dabi said, "YES! Not only has Endeavor's precious reputation been ruined, but now the brickhouse bastard's about to lose his head! No wonder French peasants around the time of their country's revolution got a hard-on out of public executions with a guillo-"

*WHABAM*

Dabi was cut off when he, as well as his fellows aside from Skeptic and the healer girls, were knocked off of Gigantomachia's back by attacks from some of the hero students, basically the boys and Nejire. Seeing Dabi and the others thrown off like that made Felgrand drop Endeavor and swoop in to catch all of them, collecting all of them before the hit the ground. As the dragon villain flew around to come back to where he was, Gran Torino blitz in and grabbed the helpless Endeavor, pulling him to safety with the other heroes. But even some of the pros were not amused with what dirty laundry of Endeavor's had been aired.

After he and the others were placed safely on the ground by Felgrand, Dabi turned his attention to the hero students. "Hey Shoto, what gives lil' bro?" Dabi said, "You and your friends interrupted one hell of a good show just now!"

"Believe you me, I wanna see Endeavor burn in fires far greater than what he could ever produce," Todoroki snarled, "But killing him in what's essentially a vigilante style execution is NOT justice! Besides, as much as it elates me to know my eldest brother is alive, I still have to stop you because you're not just a villain, but the leader of the villains threatening to bring Japan to its knees!"

"Okay, we'll do things your way," Spinner said, "And do things by the book. Endeavor will go to court and have a proper trial and everything. But what's this? He gets off scot free because everything's being run by the HPSC? And they're even suppressing bad rap and forcing others wronged by Endeavor to forgive and forget?" Looking right at Todoroki, Spinner with the driest and straightest of faces said, "That's the justice that will happen if things are done the 'proper' way. Endeavor gets off the hook, and more or less everyone's forced to ignore what all bad stuff's been proven about him. Hell, people who object to Endeavor may even be punished. Can't have people expressing displeasure with a top hero and a HPSC asset, now can we?"

Dabi let out some amused chuckling. "And that's part of why Spinner has proven to be one of my best and closest friends." Turning to look more directly at Todoroki, Dabi sent on, "Spinner has a point, Shoto. If you want to see any amount of real justice done to the guy who stuck it in mom to make the both of us, then the only real option we got is watching Felgrand rip dear ol' dad's head off!"

"Why?!" Nejire screamed, getting the other villains to turn to face her as tears ran down the sides of her face, "Why should we stand by and do nothing as your monster kills some more?! What, was ripping of Ryukyu's head not enough for him, so now he wants to-"

"HOW DARE YOU!" Felgrand bellowed, cutting Nejire off and drawing everyone else to silence. "How dare you accuse me of desecrating the Dragon Hero in such a manner!" Felgrand roared at Nejire, "I had inflicted rends and gashes upon Ryukyu yes, but I did not rip or tear off any part from the whole! Her body remains laying in one piece in the woods where we had fought, where I had been the first to mourn her death! Don't you dare accuse me of having committed such dishonor ever again, you jerk! Do I make myself clear?!"

Seeing that Dabi had Spinner, Toga, Mr. Compress, Rappa, and especially Felgrand backing him up on one hand, and Gigantomachia on the other hand despite how he's not taking any action and actually looks like he on the verge of passing out, the remaining heroes and the hero students saw that this was going to be the fight to end all fights that any of them had ever been involved in. It was going to be especially hard for Izuku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, given they all found out Endeavor was the one who had caused the salon fire that injured Izuku's mom Inko, and killed the respective moms of Bakugo and Todoroki.

Further harder for Todoroki was the fact that Dabi, the Grand Commander of the entire villain army threatening Japan, turned out to be his long thought to be dead older brother Toya. It was clear that Dabi, now confirmed to be Toya, was mad with the desire to see bloody vengeance rained down upon Endeavor. And what made things all the more hard for Todoroki here was the fact that he not only couldn't honestly blame Toya, but actually harbored something of a desire to see what Toya wanted to have Felgrand do. Only sheer heroic discipline and a desire to be better than Endeavor suppressed Todoroki's darker urges.

Bakugo also didn't want to see Felgrand kill Endeavor, but that was because Bakugo himself wanted to be the one to kill Endeavor. It was no secret that Mitsuki and Bakugo never got perfectly along with one another, but for fuck's sake Mitsuki was still Bakugo's mom! If anyone was going to be avenging their mom by killing the shit-sack known as the Flame Hero, then it was going to be Katsuki Badass Motherfucker Bakugo! "Oi! Dragon dumbass!" Bakugo yelled, getting Felgrand to turn to look at him, "The line to kill Endeavor starts behind me!" Bakugo snarled, "And not even you can cut in line in front of me!"

The dragon villain glared at Bakugo, but with a hint in his eyes showing his interest had been piqued. "...The rest of you hero lot here," Felgrand called out, "You all are barred, on pain of death, from helping Katsuki Bakugo with the answers of what I'm going to ask him." Turning his attention back to the explosive teen, Felgrand went on, "Now then. Katsuki Bakugo, a question for you. Do you remember the names of your six comrades who have died so far in your current school year?"

"...The hell are you on about?" Bakugo replied, "A lot more than six people have been killed so far this year! Hell, I bet more than six heroes have been killed so far in this war against the villains alone!"

Felgrand gave an annoyed snarl at Bakguo. "...You clearly do not understand the question."

"Felgrand," Izuku spoke up, getting the dragon villain's attention, "May I ask a question, without giving Bakugo there any answers to the question you asked him, to clear things up for him?"

The dragon villain considered Izuku and his question for a moment. Then, Felgrand gave a single nod as he replied, "Hmm."

Gesturing to Felgrand, Izuku asked, "When you say 'Bakugo's six comrades who have died so far in his current school year', do you mean his six classmates who've been killed since the current school year at UA had started?"

Felgrand gave a single nod in the affirmative. "Yes."

Turning to look at Bakugo, Izuku said, "Kacchan, he's talking about your six classmates who've been killed! You do remember their names, don't you?" Izuku, despite having been put into UA's Class 1-B, remembered the first and last names of all six of the students from UA's Class 1-A who had been killed so far this year. Izuku even remembered the full name of his late senpai, Mirio Togata, although the blonde buff third year boy was not covered by Felgrand's question to Bakugo. Only the six from Bakugo's class who've died so far this year were on the table, and Felgrand apparently wanted to know if Bakugo remembered any of them.

...As such, it was to Izuku's dawning horror (as well as some mild degree of annoyance) that Bakugo said, "Actually no, I don't remember the names of any of them. But the real question here is why do you care about that so much?"

Felgrand's pupils shrank as much as possible as his brows furrowed. Even Bakugo wasn't blind to this, and he recognized it as a sign that the dragon villain was pissed off. "...You don't remember the names of any of your fallen comrades. How dare you." Bellowing at the top of his lungs, Felgrand roared, "HOW DARE YOU, KATSUKI BAKUGO!" Turning his head back down, Felgrand snarled, "Your fallen comrades were the same as you! They had hopes for the future! They had dreams and aspirations of becoming pro heroes! THEY HAD FAMILIES WHO LOVED THEM!" Simmering back down, Felgrand went on, "They have names, and as such they are worthy of being remembered! You do your fallen comrades a grave dishonor by not remembering their names, Katsuki Bakugo!"

Holding his hands up at shoulder level with the palms facing forward, Bakugo said, "In my defense, it's kind of hard for someone to remember names like that if they're being yelled at by a big ass monster that can kill them at any time!"

Surprisingly enough, Felgrand had accepted Bakugo's argument. "...So you aren't insensitive," Felgrand said, "You're just a scaredy-cat."

Bakugo despite being cowed by the dragon villain instantly snapped back up due to being insulted. "Oi! don't go insulting me, you big ass monster!" Bakugo snapped, his pride pushing through his fright easily.

"Well he who smelt it dealt it," Spinner remarked dryly.

"Agreed, Spinner," Dabi said. Rolling his shoulders, the blue flame villain went on, "Listen, heroes. The only one here we're actually wanting to see die is me and Shoto's sorry excuse for a dad. So if you agree to stand aside and let us hand Endeavor over to Felgrand so he can rip the turd's head off, then we'll leave you all be and go on our merry way. But get in our way and we'll be forced to put you in time out."

"Sorry, villain," Hizashi called out, "But the little listeners here and I all feel like misbehaving!"

Izuku nodded in agreement. Despite the vastly overwhelming odds he and his allies faced, Izuku and the rest of the heroes still were going to face the villains that all stood before them. They had to at least take out Dabi, given that he's the leader of the villains as a whole. But the other villains there, especially Felgrand, would get in the way. As such, the heroes had more on their plates than ever before, but that wasn't going to stop them as the ones among the heroes' numbers who could fight all rushed in at Dabi and his group in a charge, shouting battle-cries as they ran in.

END, CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO

Author's notes;

This chapter sees Dabi and the others reach the battlefield that was once Jaku General Hospital, and Dabi soon drops the big reveal that he had been the long thought to be dead Toya Todoroki this entire time. As all of Endeavor's dirty laundry (as well as some dirty laundry from other pro heroes) is aired to Japan at large thanks to the leet haxor skills of Skeptic, Dabi begins to go on about how Endeavor's going to die right when the chosen executioner for the job, Felgrand, shows up to the battlefield to do his job that he wants to do.

But Felgrand's interrupted when the hero students knock everyone off of Gigantomachia's back aside from Skeptic and the healer girls, forcing the dragon villain to drop a helpless Endeavor to rescue Dabi and the others. Words are exchanged, and leaving just enough to guard the unconscious Ms. Joke and the prisoner Ujiko, the heroes all proceed to charge at Dabi and his crew, hoping to take Dabi out in the hopes it'll lead to the war being called off so that hero society can catch its breath and clean up some of the mess it has now. The next chapter will see things reach a fever pitch, so don't adjust your set.
