"He should have been dead", was the first thing Percy heard when he woke up, or at least he thought when he woke up. In reality, his body is still unconscious but his mind is in a millennia-old cave home for the most feared beings in the pantheon, The Moirai, The Fates. The three sisters, Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos are currently arguing with each other as to what to do and what the cause of the big disaster is when the said disaster spoke up.
"Good morning to you too, girls", not knowing who he was talking to, Percy started speaking without opening his eyes due to tiredness. When he did open his eyes, he was neither in his room onboard the ship Argo ll, nor was he in cabin 3. This put a frown on his face. If another group of goddesses had kidnapped him again, Annabeth was gonna kill them and then him too.
After observing around, his eyes finally landed on the ladies of the House/Cave. He remembered them from his meeting on the first day of his demigod life. Also, they look different now he still can see the similarities.
They are not in their usual grandma look which they use when meeting mortals, in Dream space or in special cases in the physical world. No, they are in their natural look which no mortal or immortal has seen since their mother, Ananke or father Chronos when they were born many millennia ago. All three of them stood in shock as to how a mortal, albeit a special one in the leu of the recent events, was able to visit them at their home. Not even Zeus or Kronos was stupid or brave enough to disturb them in their natural habitat.
The oldest of the sisters, Clotho was in her 5-year-old form, the form in which she was born. In Percy's opinion, she was so cute he wanted to run up and hug her. The middle sister, Lachesis was in her 20s with a body that would make any man or god want to drop to his knees and start worshipping her and be content with his life to live near her on his knees. The youngest of the triplets, Atropos was ironically in the oldest form in her 50s, even in her old age she looked absolutely divine. The aura around her was one of sombre melancholy like you have worked for ages and finally it was time for your rest.
"Um… hey, wassup", Percy finally spoke up, hating that no one had spoken for 5 minutes and were looking at each other's faces. Knowing who they were, Percy asked, "So, what do you guys want from me now?", rather annoyedly. Percy was sick of playing these divine games and just wants to rest now, possibly with Annabeth by his side.
"How are you here, what are you doing here, and I am not cute, I am dangerous", said the eldest of the triplets, the first one to snap out of their confusion, obliviously reading his mind, with a pout towards the end of her sentence, which did not help in her argument's favour. Lachesis, on the other hand, had a smirk on her face, for the first time another man had seen her in her natural form and was happy to incite this kind of feeling in arguably the most loyal man. Atropos, however, kept an impassive, with a slightly anger-filled face, she was not a happy camper. For the first time since the creation of mortals, she has failed at her job.
She has failed at a job for which she was created and she both hated and feared the consequences of that. She knew that the boy in front of her was not responsible for that but still she could not find out who was responsible, so she was glaring at her failed task.
"Why are you looking like that? And if you could please stop glaring at me like I killed your cat, that would be great", Percy quipped, trying and failing to relieve tension in the air. 'Where was that annoying elf when you needed him?' Percy thought to himself.
"Stop answering questions with questions Perseus", answered Clotho. "And answer before my sister blows a blood vessel with anger". "Idono", said Percy quickly looking at the rapidly gold-turning face of the oldest-looking sister. "I just fought Gaea, lost all my energy, and then I was in front of you" answered Percy with his face in deep thought, he hasn't forgotten the first words he had heard when he got consciousness. He was trying to determine if the sisters are a threat to him in this state. In the past whenever he was pulled into a dream space, no one was able to hurt him, all they could do was push him to wake up like Kelli. But again these are the fates, maybe they have the power to hurt him. He'll not go down without a fight though, that's for sure.
"Now that I answered your questions, can you answer mine", enquired Percy. Atropos was about to shut him down when Clotho signed and asked him to sit down, this was gonna take a while. "We are in our natural forms Perseus, we were born this way, I am the oldest of the Moirai, Clotho, the spinner", the child said looking up at Percy. Seeing his dubious looks, Clotho added "I am the fate of birth, child, of course, I was born with a younger form", slightly pissed. "These are my sisters, Lachesis, the alloter, the fate of life and Atropos, the unturnable, the fate of death", the now confirmed oldest, introduced her sisters. They waited for a second for him to bow, which, they should have guessed by the fate they wrote, would not happen.
"Ok, as you know my name's Perseus Jackson, but please call me Percy, unless you guys are planning on hiding the clubs underneath to attack me", was the cheeky response of Percy, he really did love pissing off immortals. "Percy," Clotho started testing out his name, "do you really not have any idea how you got here?". He just shook his head. This left the sister in deep thought and they started talking with each other in their heads.
After another 10 mins of observing the silent conversation, with the oldest-looking one increasingly getting angrier, Percy interrupted them again, this time cutting to the chase. "What do you guys mean by, I should have been dead?" which stopped the sisters and they looked at him with pity, confusion and anger. "Exactly what it sounds like Percy, your thread has ended but you are still alive, which hasn't happened ever", said Lachesis, talking to Percy for the first time.
This pulled all the air out of his lungs. He might die, or he might already be dead. Thanatos might be waiting for him as soon as he finishes his dream space visit. Or maybe it will be Hermes instead. He was never afraid of death, as he was told that after 16 he might finish his allotted days on the earth and after that, he always thought every day was a gift. No, his biggest regret right now is that he can't see and hug his wise girl for one last time. That he cannot see his mother, whom he hasn't seen in almost a year. His dad, who was the only
god who showed up for their own war, couldn't see the proud smile from him for one last time.
While this was happening in Percy's head, Clotho approached him to explain more. "Percy, you are not dead, or dying once you wake up, what my sister means to say is that your thread is no longer in our hands", Clotho slowly sat beside him and caressed his face, smoothing out his scrunched-up eyebrows. "My other sister, though, is very angry with you, even though she knows that the anger is misplaced. She has failed to end a life and cut the thread for the first time since our creation. Don't worry yourself though, she is just confused. We'll overcome this error as always". Percy was taken back by the affection in her voice. He always thought that the fates had it in for him and on occasion even cursed the fates. That was until Annabeth pointed out that the fates are the most unbiased entities in the whole universe. Now he doesn't know what to think.
The middle sister, now sat on the other side, "Percy, we are the most unbiased entities but that doesn't mean that we don't have our favourites. You Percy Jackson were our favourite hero of all time, Atropos, even cried when we got to know, she had to cut your string" she said sadly. "But I thought you guys wove everyone's threads", asked Percy confusion. Lachesis sighed, and said "Yes, my boy we normally write most people's fates, but sometimes our mother, Ananke, the primordial of destiny, decides some very important people's futures as these have far-reaching consequences. We thought your was such fate, but never before was a fate abruptly yanked out our hands". "We tried so many times to change your fate, at least a little bit, so as to give as much happiness to you as we can Percy, but we were never successful", this revelation left Percy very happy, he did have a guardian angel looking out for him, he had three of them, however unsuccessful they were. It was good to be loved.
After that everyone was immersed in their own thoughts, and a pleasant silence encompassed the cave. Even the angry sister came and sat with them contemplating the future. Finally, after half an hour of sitting like that, Percy's body was starting to fade, he was going back to the physical world. "Percy, now that we don't have your thread, your fate is totally in your hands, please be careful", said a teary-eyed Clotho. The other sisters were also trying to send the same message through their eyes. "Take care, you three", said Percy, his voice full of emotions, even though they were immortal. And with that, he vanished from the cave of the sisters.
"That boy is going to cause so much chaos", said Atropos, only speaking after he has left, she loved the boy most among the sisters. It hurt her immensely when she had to cut the thread, but she prepared herself to do the job nevertheless. All things considered, she was happy with the day's outcome. "All the fates that boy touches from now on will be changed sisters", said Lachesis sighing with fatigue from the work she is going to have to do, from now on to correct the flow of fate normally. Clotho was praying to her mother to allow for a peaceful life for Percy Jackson from now on.
—
Percy woke up underwater. That was all he was able to discern with the immense energy flowing into him trying to heal him. He could not open his eyes yet. For him it felt like the
whole sea was force feeding him like your grandma when you visit her. Finally after staying in bliss for about an hour, Percy slowly opened his eyes, he was in some pale golden water, keeping him submerged. Now he knew how the fish flet in glass fish tanks, as his current house was a glass tank, it was comfortable physically but he felt like he was put on a display, and didn't like it one bit. So taking some extra energy percy raised from the fish tank. It was early hours of dawn, he found his wisegirl sleeping on a chair in the room with tears streaking down her beautiful face. This made his heart flutter, I made him feel both happy and sad at the same time. He was happy that he had someone to take care of him and fret for him. But he didn't want to be the reason for Annabeth to be sad, ever. He wants to be the reason for her to smile like a crazy person for no apparent reason. He wasn't to be the destroyer for all the beings who would cause his wisegirl any discomfort.
As his wisegirl took all of his attention, Percy didn't see the moon goddess also in the room looking dreamily at him. Before he could take in that there was another being in the, now identified medical room with them, the moon goddess had flashed away. She didn't want to explain to him, or to anyone for that matter, why she was so concerned about a boy… a man, she corrected herself. She has been feeling these weird feelings from the time he rescued her from the weight of the sky. But she filled those thoughts for another time, it's time to skidaddle from the room. All Percy saw was a brighter moon light on one side of the room, which was weird, because it's almost dawn. Whatever, he just shrugged and tried to wake up his beloved.
Annabeth herself was in very pleasant dream of the future. These are few and far between, so she did not want to wake up anytime soon. Her and Percy were frolicking in a meadow, without a care for the world. She couldn't remember when was the last time they were this free from worry, 'maybe before the cow kidnapped him', she thought. Then the dream shifted to them in a sea, again not doing much but basking in each other's presence. Then Percy vanished, she started panicking, 'no no no not again', she kept on repeating in her head. Then she started sinking in the sea, which she knew was pretty much impossible because of Percy or at least Poseidon. Then she felt cold water on her face. "Percy, come back", she shouted out loud, waking up instantly.
Percy tried everything to wake her up, nothing seems to work. He gathered all his energy and shouted, to be the best he can, nothing worked. He gathered some water from the tank and shot towards her to wake her. Suddenly, she screamed, "Percy, come back", at the top of her lungs, making him extremely guilty. He understood she had a nightmare about him leaving. He tried to tell her that he would never do that, that he was stuck with him for this lifetime. But her nightmares ever stopped. He knew the reason for this was the curse she faced down at the pit, he will never truly forgive the person who cursed his wisegirl, ever.
Annabeth woke up with a start and saw that percy was awake. She almost flew towards him, throwing herself at him, bringing him to a tight hug. She started very ugly sobs, but this time with happiness. Nothing mattered to the pair in the whole wide world, they were together and nothing really mattered anymore. Percy kept rubbing her back to console her, he had tears flowing as well.
All of a sudden Annabeth put her hands on his neck and pulled him into a searing kill, Percy's hands made their way into her back pulling her as close to him as humanly possible.
They were lost in their own world until the need for air was unignorable. Then as they separated, Annabeth decked him in the face so hard that it almost rattled his brain. Still the smile on his face was not diminished, 'that's my wisegirl', he thought. "Percy Jackson, do you have any idea how scared I was, your heart stopped around midnight, if anything happened to you I will follow you to the grave, quite literally, and stop with your goofy smile, im being serious", Annabeth ranted but at the end couldn't keep the smile from splitting her face. At this time there was a very large earthquake which swept through the infirmity.
"Percy", she started much softer this time, with tears again in her eyes, "please don't leave me" 'again' was unsaid but undershot by them both. Immediately he kept on repeating that was going nowhere, that they will always be together. Generally Percy doesn't hold grudges but after seeing his wisegirl in this vulnerable state, he could not help himself but despise the people responsible for her condition. First there was the queen, the one that kidnapped him for 8 months, who he utterly hates and will get his revenge. Then there is the titaness, who he once thought for a brief moment he would spend his life with, the one who curse has made his girl this vulnerable, his one he doesn't hate, he is indifferent towards her, as people say opposite of love is indifference.
Unprevy to his mussing, Annabeth was content on hearing the words from his mouth. Soon they basked in each other's arms, Annabeth remembered something. "Percy we need to go to the throne room, there is a counsel meeting going on there, we were asked to join as soon as you wake up", Annabeth said, still making no effort to move from his lap. "Hmmm", Percy reacted, with his hand still combing through her princess curly blond hair, the very first detail he ever remembered from her. It had lost its glow and shine after their excursion to the pit, but he still liked her hair, and always absent mindedly combed through her hair when he's thinking. Suddenly Percy's thought reached something he wanted to ask her, "So, are you gonna tell be why my father was calling you daughter-in-law?", he asked with a smirk. Annabeth blushed to her roots and started explaining..
After a moment they started to walk to the throne room hand in hand, Percy looking at all the buildings designed by this little architect in awe. Annabeth, though was not looking at these, she was thinking about all that has happened and the possibility that could happen when they reach the throne room. Soon their walk ended and they reached the enormous doors of the throne room. With a cheeky slime Percy then proceeded to kick the door with all his might and it opened with a bang.
Moments before percy woke up(in the throne room)
The throne room, as usual, was in chaos. Everybody was shouting at somebody. But the one that was silent was the sea god. He was thinking about this only mortal son. Percy had lost consciousness and hadn't woken up all night. And there was the scare at midnight where his heart stopped for a few moments. The god was so concerned about his son's well-being that he hadn't noticed or paid attention to the king of the gods ranting about him not following his rule.
Then he felt it, his son had woken up in the nectar infused water. That brought a smile to his face for the first time in a day. Now that his mind is free from worrying, he turned his attention to the counsel meeting. "Poseidon", Zeus roared, "you will be punished for your subordination, you ignored a direct command from your king, you will be tried for treason. Even Hades and Hestia will join you in your punishment".
Poseidon had enough of this bickering, standing up, which one strike of his trident to the ground produced an earthquake not seen on Olympus for ages. Cracks started to form on the marble floor of the room starting from the trident inching towards all the thrones in the room. Every god in the room stopped their bickering and were not watching the earthshaker with fear in both their hearts and eyes. "It seems that everybody has forgotten who I am", Poseidon roared. "Little brother, you are still the king because I allowed you to be the king", he said to the king mockingly. Zeus is not filled with trepidation, he did forget the legendary anger of his older brother. But he cannot back down now, what message would that send to his subjects if he is intimidated so easily. But before he could do anything, every god on the counsel had a headache that would kill even a minor god. "You all seem to have forgotten that I was and am the strongest god in this room", Poseidon said, "My one thought and all your heads would explode spectacularly", he snarled increasing the pressure on their skulls. Turning back to his brother he said, "Just because I mellowed down with age doesn't mean I can't be the monster I was in the first war, lil' brother". "One snap and all of you would be in the Pit clawing to get back to the surface".
Just then Hestia, who was at the hearth, not affected by the skull cracking pressure, walked up to her brother and soothed him from harming the fellow gods anymore. Finally as they were rescued, all the gods sent a thankyou to the hearth goddess. They were still not looking the sea god in the eye. All of them had forgotten the sea's anger and had paid the price. Athena was so shocked that she could not think clearly, even with all the years of their revelry, Poseidon never attacked her. Something has changed and she can bet that it's the sea spawn's doing.
Then the doors of the throne room burst open, one side being pulled off its hinges and in walked the Hero and Heroine of Olympus, With Annabeth's face stuck between annoyed and amused and a hand on her head. All the gods still dealing with their cranial abuse didn't know what to think. The Percy greeted them with a very percy-greeting, "Hey everyone, are ya waiting for good ol' me". From a far away cave three facepalm were heard at the exact same time.
Percy saw his friend standing on the side with their eyes the size of golf balls looking at his father. He just shrugged and joined them, maybe his dad had cracked an atrocious dad joke just before he got there. But Annabeth could tell that there was a heavy tension in the air, she knew someone had done pissed off her future father-in-law.
Poseidon's mood did a 180, he shrunk to his son's size and gave him a tyson sized hug. After the reunion he went back to his throne and clapped his hands, shaking everyone from their stupor, and said let us begin the reward process for which the meeting was called.
Zeus, taking this as his chance to divert the attention, started his long and heavy speech about bravery and duty, which Percy didn't pay any attention to. It went on for a while, which
was basically patting themselves on the back as Zeus told everyone that this was his plan all along, no one was really in mood to argue even as they wanted to object. It was because of Zeus that so many of their friends were dead, it was because of him that most of them probably have PTSD. But no one really wanted to have a shouting match with the god of thunder. Well, except Percy that is. He was about to object to all the things, ok all things he paid attention to at least, but Annabeth linked her hand with his and squeezed it lightly, saying pick your battles and this was not it.
After what felt like an eternity, Zeus finished his speech. Shifting to this roman form, Jupiter called "Jason, my son, you were instrumental in the war, for your effort the council is offering you one wish, as long as that is in our hands". Jason felt as if he was slapped, he was not the leader of the war, he was all but a soldier, who would have died at least five times if not for Percy. He felt like he was stealing valour from Percy and the war heroes who lost their lives in the fight. He steeled his nerves nevertheless and approached the council and asked "I would like to be made the Pontifex maximus of the legion". "That is a huge ask my son, the council needs to vote on it", said Jupiter. He knew that his children had a fatal flaw of power but this was still not what wanted. He wanted to make his children minor gods and be done with it. After the vote it was 5:6 with Aphrodite abstaining from voting. This was bad, as if there was a tie the king could have made the decision in his favour. Then Aphrodite asked what he would do with the additional power. Jason replied saying he would use it to build more temples. And after a vow on the Styx, to never abuse the power, the love goddess evened the vote allowing the king to break the tie.
This went on with all the remaining seven till they reached Annabeth. Athena called "Annabeth, my daughter", which made Annabeth flinch at what she was about to do. But she had made the decision and talked with Percy about it and said he would support her in all her endeavours, always. "My daughter, you have made me very proud. I cant-", Athena was cut off by Annabeth in the middle of her speech, which made her very mad. "Lord Zeus I would like to acknowledge that lady Athena has disowned me during this summer, and I also hereby renounce my parentage in front of the holy council of Olympus. Let the gods in this room and river styx be my witness", Annabeth said with a confident, monotonous, robotic voice. This brought the room to a pin-drop silence.
"YOU DARE", roared Athena standing up, "I gave you everything and you dare denounce me?", "I am your mother". To which Annabeth turned to her with an emotionless mask "Are you now, lady Athena, are you my mother now that I accomplished what you ordered me to. After you sent me to my death knowing full well that all of your other children you sent didn't return. Is that what a mother does? Are you my mother after you disowned me in a railway station of all places? Tell my lady Athena are you still my mother after all this". Athena knew that this was her fault, for pushing away her brilliant daughter but her pride would not accept being pointed to wrong by a mere mortal, no she will not accept this. "I will curs-", was all she was able to say before a trident and a sword embedded in either side of the head. Then a calm voice was heard, "I dare you to finish that sentence", from her uncle. Percy was ready to fight the wisdom goddess and her spawns if they stood before him on his way to get to the said goddess. How dare she try to harm his wisegirl.
"From here on out, Annabeth, the Heroine of Olympus, is under the protection of the house of Poseidon. If anyone tries to harm her physically or mentally will be considered an enemy
of the sea. And trust me you don't want to be the enemy of the sea. The sea also acknowledges her as a princess to be married to the royal prince of the sea, Perseus Achilles Jackson", Poseidon said with his devine voice, smirking at the end looking at his blushing son. Athena was fuming, but she cannot do anything against her uncle, not after his earlier show of power. He could kill all her children and her in an instance if she angered him again.
"Well, now that the drama has finished, let's get back to the rewards", said Zeus uninterested. "Annabeth Chase, princess of the sea, what is your wish from the council?" asked Zeus. She had thought about this long and hard when Percy was lost and again in the infirmary, she had not told this to anybody yet and doesn't even know if it's possible, but she wanted to try. "My wish from the council is that my fate thread be tied to that of my other half Perseus Jackson". And again there was absolute silence. Aphrodite and her kids including Piper shrieked and started sobbing asking how this was the best love story ever. Percy was in absolute shock, he had a dopey smile on his face thinking he'll have Annabeth with him forever, then a questioning look towards Annabeth, silently asking 'Are you sure about this, have you thought about this' and a million more things for which Annabeth noded. He would trust Annabeth's decision and ask what this entails when they are alone.
Zeus thought about it and didn't find any reason for this to affect him or his rule so he said, "Very well girl, I personally would not have wasted my wish like this but your wish is granted", without even looking at the wisdom goddess, who was busy thing why her ex-daughter could ask for such peculiar thing. Before she could object her father had already given the wish. Well, she would look more into this later. In the cave of the sisters, another one of their threads glowed golden before vanishing, exactly like it did with Perseus' thread. The sisters had mixed feelings about this, on one hand they were happy that their favourite Hero would be with his love forever but on the other hand this was the second fate in forever that has slipped their hands, which had them pretty miffed.
Back to the throne room, now every demigod was waiting for the main event, rewards for their captain commander. "Perseus Achilles Jackson, my son please come forth", Poseidon shouted on top of his lungs filled with pride, to which Percy sarcastically thought 'Do not shout old man I'm right here'. "Is there anyone in this throne room or Olympus that thinks my son is not worthy", which resulted in a deafening silence. "Well son ask your wish and we will grant it, won't we lil brother", the sea god said turning to Zeus at the end. "Yes, yes, what is it you want son of Poseidon, talk fast we don't have all day for this", Zeus replied annoyed. "Well, lord Zeus, you know the drill, I want an unbreakable oath, that you'll grant me my wish as long as it is in your power", percy said with his trademark lopsided smirk. "On behalf of the council I swear on river Styx to give you your wish, as long as it is with our power", the thunder god grumbled about ungrateful brats.
For the first time since he came to the throne room, Percy looked at the queen of the gods. She was sitting smugly knowing her plan was the one that worked even with the hiccups of Zeus not allowing other gods to fight, Poseidon made up for it. She knew she could always exploit Poseidon's personal loyalty for her own gain. But as soon as the sea spawn's eyes met hers, she felt a shiver go down her spine. Those were the eyes of a predator and she even though being an all powerful goddess felt like the prey. All this was even before he spoke a word.
Percy shifted his eyes back to Zeus, and asked, "Before we start with my wish, I as an affected party would like to know the punishment for the perpetrator in the form of the queen". Zeus' face turned red with anger. How dare this mortal ask him to punish his wife. "On what charges are you accusing my wife, demigod?", Zeus asked, trying to control his anger. Beside him Hera was both scared and angry, she had to do something for her to come out of this unscathed. Before she could interpret, Percy spoke, "For the crime of kidnapping me, a minor, and for treason my lord", pushing all the buttons on the king. As soon as the word treason left his mouth Zeus was hooked, he just needed to reel him in. "What do you mean treason nephew?", Zeus asked in confusion, his anger forgotten. Hera knew that she was fucked now. Before it could get any worse, she screamed "This is a reward ceremony not a criminal hearing, I will not allow for it to be devolved into such".
"Well then I could ask as my reward from the council, that you be permanently removed from the council and hung up on the edge of chaos, can't I lady Hera. You would know how it was back there, right? What do you think Annabeth, will they have to do it as per their oath on the styx", he said and turned to Annabeth. She had a vindictive smile on her and confirmed that they have to do as you wished. Hera was now as pale as Hades, all her blood drained, she looked at her husband first who had an impassive look, then her fellow Olympians, all her stepchildren had smiles as well. This was not how she imagined the council meeting would go.
"That would be necessary child, put forth your reason why you think she has committed treason, I will punish her", Zeus said, shocking Hera. She had no were to go. Either she stops this trail and the sea spawn wishes for her to be hung in Tartarus or she lets her husband punish her for treason. The sea spawn has her cornered. Percy normally would not have gone to this lengths to get revenge on someone, but after seeing his Wisegirl's broken eyes searching for him just after not seeing him a second he could not forgive the cow goddess.
"Lord Zeus, she has committed several acts of treason, the first one was exposing the Roman and Greek demigods to each other and starting a civil war that would definitely help our enemies. It doesn't matter that the final result worked out in our favour, the initial intention was to create discord among your aspects. Which also reminds be she should be charged with war crimes and death of innocent demigods from both camps. The second charge of treason comes from disregarding your direct command and interfering and single handedly kickstarting the war when we were not prepared. If I didn't know any better I would say she always wanted the enemy to will or else why would anyone start a war when they are not ready", Percy explained to Zeus, looking at his flaring nostrils, Percy knew the deed was done. It was blatant manipulation and twisting of facts but he has to do what he has to do to get the job done. By the end of his little speech everyone in the audience were looking at the queen with such disgust that if there was no punishment for her they would riot in the streets of Olympus.
Hera tried to explain herself but even before she could open her mouth, a lightning bolt struck her and she was transported to the centre of the room. "After hearing the charges against you, how do you plead", Zeus asked in his king voice. Hera tried to come up with something that would help her, but always came up empty, all the sea spawn said was true,
just that was not her intention. "How does the council vote on the accused Hera, daughter of Kronos", Zeus asked, all the hand, even her sons, went up for guilty. She knew she was done for now. "As the king of Olympus, for your crimes against Olympus, and humanity, I hear by temporarily revoke your status as the queen, and a goddess for 100 years, be sent to earth as a servant to Perseus Jackson till he lives as compensation for his obduction", Zeus gave the punishment. Soon she was stuck by another lightning bolt and vanished from the council room with an anguished scream.
"Not that, that is taken care of, could you finish with your wish", Zeus asked, irritated. "As my wish I want Lady Hestia and Lord Hades to be added to the council, I am in a great debt to them for saving me and my father and would like to repay them", percy said confidently. Zeus thought for a second for a way to get out of it initially but couldn't find anything. The. He thought that adding more power to the council would not be a bad thing since they are down one spot albeit temporarily.
"Your wish is granted Perseus, welcome to the council of Olympus brother and sister ", and two new thrones formed in the room one with platinum and other with wood which is on fire. Hestia hugged Percy tightly and said thank you again and again. In a rare turn of events Hades smiled and squeezed Percy's shoulder in thank you. Percy smiled and returned to his place beside his wisegirl and held on to her hand still smiling. The newly made council members took to their throne. The ceremony was about to be closed before a private council meeting could start, the throne room was flooded with blinding golden light.
Until next time, take care and stay foxy…
