HONNOU: Instinct

Wielder: Kenpachi Zaraki

Release command: None

Shikai: A huge sword shaped like an arrowhead with serrated edges. When released, Zaraki becomes immune to non-physical damage. All magic is useless against him, as are energy-based attacks. Only blunt force and sharp edges can harm him.

TEZCAT: Jaguar

Wielder: Yoruichi Shihoin

Release command: "Melt at a Touch"

Shikai: A composite zanpakuto, it becomes both an Incan hacha war club composed of green jade with black glass blades and a golden headdress of green feathers. The club is unbreakable, while the helmet enables Yoruichi's body to become insubstantial for five seconds, during which time she cannot be harmed by anything. A twenty second downtime is required to use this technique again.

Bankai: Tezcatlipoca. Jaguar of theSun. Transforms into a miniature sun made of molten gold. Yoruichi's body is covered with a thin layer of this substance that allows her to move at greater speeds than ever. The sun produces heat equivalent to a star and can take on any form Yoruichi wishes, moving independently of her.

HANUMAN: The Monkey King

Wielder: Noboru Shihoin.

Release command: "Bamboozle."

Shikai: A power pole much like that of its mythological namesake. Able to extend any distance the wielder can conceive.

JOROGUMO: Spider Demon

Wielder: Katsurou Arashi

Release command: "Purge"

Shikai: Twin gauntlets with long bladed fingers. When released, Katsurou's skin turns white, a sign that his body has become host to something more. Injuries he receives in this form reveal a host of tiny spiders crawling beneath the skin. These spiders prevent him from losing spiritual energy, and Jorogumo's touch will transfer her brood to anything else, whether animate or not. Those afflicted are quickly sucked dry of all spiritual power, reducing them to desiccated husks. Katsurou can reverse this affliction at his leisure as long as the target is not dead.

Bankai: Tsuchigumo Soshi. The Queen Earth Spider. While losing his gauntlets, a fog rises all around Katsurou. He ascends into the sky using lines of spider silk. From there a titanic spider emerges who sends down smaller arachnids on threads. Once reaching the ground they swarm any enemy and proceed to feast upon them until they are wrung dry. The spider mother also transforms into a beautiful noblewoman.

AKA-CHAN: The Infant

Wielder: Nemu Kurotsuchi

Release command: "Bloom for Master"

Shikai: A handle from which the user's blood is transformed into a liquid whip. Can be used to create violently strong outpourings of endless blood from any wounds Nemu receives.

URESHII ONNANOKO: Dirty Girl

Wielder: Nanao Ise

Release command: "Stare in Devotion"

Shikai: A large steel hammer whose rune-carved handle can grow to make it a maul. When released, anyone who makes eye contact with Nanao will immediately be turned to stone. This effect is equivalent to a Level 91 Hado spell. The resulting statue can only be destroyed by Ureshii Onnanoko. Nanao's glasses have been enchanted to block this effect.

UMASAYA: Rumormonger

Wielder: Kiyone Kotetsu

Release command: "Whisper"

Shikai: Becomes a short sword with a rounded tip and an ovoid space that runs the length of the blade. Every stroke with Umasaya leaves an invisible 'cut' in the air which only Kiyone can see. The 'cuts' will remain where they are or can be wielded like knives by her. They will slice anything that comes into contact with them regardless of any protective spells.

O-DAIKO: Honorable Drum

Wielder: Sentaro Kotsubaki

Release command: "Resound"

Shikai: Creates a brass mallet and a massive gong that can be worn like a shield. When struck, the gong emits an explosively loud soundwave capable of pulverizing flesh and even rock.

KINGYOSU: Snapdragon

Wielder: Tetsuzaemon Iba

Release command: "Unhinge"

Shikai: As seen in the manga, only now the blade can split open in the middle, revealing a tremendous mouth full of fangs and a single dragon's eye. The mouth is paradoxically far larger than the edges of the blade. Able to snap closed with devastating force.

INU NO MURE: The Dog Pack

Wielder: Makizo Aramaki

Release command: "Savage"

Shikai: Unimpressive at first sight, Inu no Mure becomes a small keychain with numerous tiny swords, hooks and barbed instruments hanging off it. When Makizo swings it, however, the whole thing drastically increases in size and length, becoming an armory of blades as long as a morningstar or the length of a football field. Being drunk half the time in battle, Inu no Mure tends to compose gruesome poetry while fighting in this form.

GARUDA: The Bird King

Wielder: Kirio Hikifune

Release command: Unknown

Shikai: Creates a gigantic bird which the captain can ride upon while arming her with a magic spear.

CANON ZANPAKUTO REIMAGINED

SODE NO SHIRAYUKI: Sleeve of White Snow

Wielder: Rukia Kuchiki

Release command: "Dance"

Shikai: Same as the manga, only now Rukia has a Fourth Dance, Saigo no Mai: Shingetsu. The New Moon. Two large white crescent moon energy blades appear on the ground and go dancing about. Anyone standing or floating above them will be cut and frozen as they pass by. Rukia controls the movement of these Ice Sickles. In addition, a black circle appears at her feet the same size as her Tsukishirou. A person entering this zone, the Moon's Shadow, is instantly frozen solid in a tomb of black ice.

SHINSO: Sacred Spear

Wielder: Gin Ichimaru

Release command: "Shoot to Kill"

Shikai: As seen in the manga.

Bankai: Makaiso. The Hellish Spear. Upon release, it completely surrounds Gin in a small fort composed of jagged spearheads through which nothing can penetrate. Gin himself now exists as an image reflected in the sides of this construct. Any attempt to attack Makaiso will cause the assailant to experience the injuries themselves. Gin can target anyone visible in the reflections of his bankai with spell or blade. Covering the fort with something benign like cloth will limit its ability to cause harm, but smaller spears can emerge from the ground to give Gin a better view of the battlefield. This bankai reflects Gin's desire to protect himself at all costs.

Makaiso's only weakness is mirrors. If someone holds up a mirror to her, Gin will be trapped in whatever spearhead he currently inhabits. Like this, he is susceptible to all damage and his own attacks will be turned on him. The bankai will be broken if Ichimaru lets go of Shinso.

HAINEKO: Ash Cat

Wielder: Rangiku Matsumoto

Release command: "Growl"

Shikai: As seen in the manga

Bankai: Aome no Raiju. Blue-Eyed Thunder Beast. Haineko transforms into a large mythical raiju made of pure lightning. She still produces ash, but the fine powder is now explosive and can be set off by her electric current. The resulting detonations and lightning turn any battlefield into near constant mayhem. Rangiku herself is largely immune to the resulting shocks. Aome no Raiju remains lazy and prefers to stay by her mistress' side.

KATEN KYOKUTSU: Bones of Heavenly Blooming Madness

Wielder: Kyoraku Shunsui

Release command: "The Flowery Winds Become Disturbed, The God of Flowers Sings, The Heavenly Winds Become Disturbed, The Devil of Heaven Sneers"

Shikai: Unlike in the manga, Katen Kyokutsu now utilizes moves based on the card game poker. She becomes Kyoraku's shadow in this form and will act according to several different commands:

The Flop: King of Swords. Shadowy phantoms of her wielder emerge armed identically as he is. They inhabit the same physical space as Kyoraku and as such are difficult to make out, but are able to defend him from attacks in all directions, which is very disorienting to those watching.

The Turn: Knave of Hearts. She spreads out to quietly replace the shadows of anyone fighting Kyoraku, instilling them with a berserk rage towards those attempting to do him harm.

The River: Of No Return. Not yet revealed, but conceivably fatal.

Blind Man's Bluff: Katen Kyokutsu assumes control of Shunsui's body while he inhabits a two-dimensional shadow doppelganger. In this guise, he can move without being detected, traveling great distances from his actual form. No barrier can oppose him whether magical or otherwise. Kyoraku is still armed with Katen Kyokutsu's blades and can injure people by assaulting their shadows, or he can pick up physical objects via the same method. While like this, since he is not actually using his own senses to perceive the world, Kyoraku becomes inadvertently immune to the power of beguiling zanpakuto like Kyoka Suigetsu or Suzumushi.

ITEGUMO: Frozen Cloud

Wielder: Isane Kotetsu

Release command: "Run"

Shikai: Slows the motion of spiritual particles around Isane. This can cause enemies to find themselves moving at a snail's pace by comparison. The effect also influences magic, causing any spells which Itegumo touches to freeze into harmless glass that is easily shattered.

GONRYOUMARU:

Wielder: Chojiro Sasakibe

Release command: "Pierce"

Shikai: Same appearance as in the manga, only now Gonryoumaru is able to produce extremely focused blasts of wind so strong they can punch through solid rock.

Bankai: Tenryomaru. Storm Dragon Lord. A localized tornado rises around Chojiro with hurricane-force winds. He can manipulate branches of this phenomenon like appendages. As an elemental zanpakuto, this power also manifests in the mortal world and thus can be used to devastating effect on the environment, making Sasakibe leery about unleashing it for fear of the damage it might bring.

ARRANCAR RESURRECCION

CIAO ROSCURO: Chiaroscuro

Wielder: Enfain Tezima

Resurreccion: "Confine and Contrast"

Resurreccion: Paints the whole world and everyone in it with contrasting lines of black and white. People become one of those two colors, Enfain included. When standing in an area that is the same color as themselves, they are immune to attacks or magic of that color as well as becoming virtually invisible. Only Tezima can see people clearly under these conditions no matter what, and she is able to switch her own color at will. She can also move along the dividing lines as though they are solid.

ESTOMAGO: Stomach

Wielder: Albion Diega

Resurreccion: "Expand"

Resurreccion: Albion is transformed into a giant digestive system, able to consume anything that approaches him and use the subsequent meal to create more of himself. Each new organ thus produced gains a different means of attack. The system will continue to expand unless its orifices are blocked off.

BOHDA: Enlightenment

Wielder: Ein Vogel

Resurreccion: "Illuminate"

Resurreccion: Vogel gains eight arms, six of which are holding a different mystic weapon, such as a noose, a lotus pod, or flaming arrows. While in this state, he perceives the world around him as an illusion, and thus takes no damage. However, anything which he does not perceive can still injure him. Such injuries are far more severe, as he otherwise has virtually no defense in this form.

VASTO LORDE RESURRECCION

LOS LOBOS: The Wolves

Wielder: Coyote Stark

Release command: "Kick About"

Resurreccion: Stark transforms into a gigantic wolf with a hairless head. The joints of his legs have mouths and his paws boast a profusion of claws. Like this, he is almost totally insane. His power is that of a God.

Segunda Etapa: Not yet revealed.

ARROGANTE: Arrogant

Wielder: Barragan Luisenbarn

Resurreccion: Unknown

Resurreccion: Barragan takes the form of a Dullahan. He rides a skeletal horse which is a part of him, and his human torso grows out of its back. He holds his head in his hands. Any specific powers while like this have not been revealed, and likely never will be now.

Segunda Etapa: Maus Konig. Transforms into a giant skeleton dressed in royal robes. He has six arms which wield scimitars and multiples heads, all belonging to rats. The prime snout wears a golden crown that enables him to produce an endless horde of skeletal vermin off his body which cover the land and infect anything they bite or scratch with a fatal disease. If the crown is removed from his head, he loses the ability to produce more familiars.

TIBURON: Shark

Wielder: Tia Halibel

Resurreccion: Unknown

Resurreccion: Halibel resembles Scylla of myth, being a giant woman's torso whose lower half is composed of lioness and eel heads. The heads are semi-autonomous and capable of being detached to form brand-new Hollows. In addition, by severing one of the heads and not allowing it to reform, the blood produced forms a pool through which Halibel can communicate and even fashion into a semblance of herself or others. She can exude a spiritual ink cloud that blocks reiatsu, enabling her to escape from dangerous situations.

Segunda Etapa: The second form is Scylla's partner Charybdis. Halibel transforms into a tremendous ring of gnarled flesh from which multiple arms emerge. Inside the ring is a void that sucks up and devours everything around her. When like this Halibel must continue eating no matter what and she lacks the ability to move quickly.
