Before we begin, let me clarify something first. This story is inspired by 'Harry Potter, Squatter' by Enterprise1701-d. I loved little Harry going into adventures, getting into troubles, exploring the unknown. I wanted to write a story similar to that with my own twists. The Game System is just a part of it, meaning there will be no grind-fest. It will focus on Harry and his summon friends going on adventures. That is why Dungeons will be more than just a place to grind exp.

And maybe this is why, the beginning of the story is a bit slow-paced since I want to build the world a bit. But do not worry, the pace will increase very soon.

Disclaimer: A General disclaimer – I do not own Harry Potter, or any other characters or IPs from other franchises written in this story.

Tutorial Dungeon (Leaving the Nest)

A dungeon where the Gamer will be tested on his base 'Game' knowledge and his combat skills.

An incomplete graveyard that had been abandoned due to an incident five years ago, where multiple people died when a robbery had gone horribly wrong.

According to one of the victims, who had become a ghost, the graveyard is inhabited by the walking dead.

Level: 5 (Tutorial)

Type: Undead

Harry took a deep breath before shaking his head, "Alright, I can do this."

"Of course, you can. Now, onwards."

Harry felt himself deflating. He sighed and looked at his side.

Teddy Powell, the ghost, was standing right beside him, wearing a peculiar full-body grey-colored outfit. And, he had a shovel. Unfortunately, even with this, he could not help them since he was a 'Non-Combatant'. According to the system, it meant that even though he could join Harry's party and participate in battles, he would not be able to help… actively at least. And he would not gain experience meaning he was unable to level up.

So then, why was he tagging along?

Teddy was the assigned guard of the graveyard that night. And he was one of the victims. Of course, Harry and Jirachi asked quite a few questions when they learned about it, but the only information he was willing to share was about the explosion that took his life. He might not know the cause behind it, but he was sure that it was an abnormal phenomenon.

He talked more about his time as a ghost. Well, most of them were just complaints, but Harry listened to him nonetheless. It was a good thing he did so because Jirachi and he were able to pick up all the clues that they needed for the dungeon. But the most unexpected part was the quest he received from Teddy.

Let me rest, damn it!

Yes, that was literally the name of the quest.

The quest had two objectives. The first one was to defeat the robber-zombies. Yes, the ones that caused all this mess. How did Teddy know they were inside the dungeon in zombie form? No clues. But since the system's quest verified his claim so he must be right. Next was more of an escort. Teddy wanted to join their party and be there when he would defeat the zombies. Even though he could not physically help, he pointed out that he could be a guide since he knew the layout of the graveyard.

He also pointed out that he tried multiple times to get inside the graveyard, but he could not phase through the walls or enter using the gate.

Harry saw no point to reject the man… well, the ghost.

And this was another neat thing he found out. The races. According to the system, 'Race' was a term used to describe various sapient beings. Being the curious child he was, Harry did not stop just at the definition. And at the end of their little discussion, his newfound knowledge updated the status information.

"Status, all."

There was just an extra line but like other numbers on the status screen, it was a visual representation of Harry's growth. He could not help but smile when he recalled the system's words last night.

A wonderful job you did there, Harry. Just like this, keep learning, keep questioning. The more you do so, the more you will grow. And the system, as always, will recognize and reward your efforts. Remember this Harry, from knowledge comes strength and wisdom, more so when it is related to magic.

"Harry?"

Hearing his name, Harry looked at Jirachi who was hovering just beside him. Realizing what happened, he let out an embarrassed smile, "Sorry Jirachi, I got lost in thought."

Jirachi just smiled back in return.

Harry shook his head to pull away from his wayward thoughts. He had a task at hand now. He looked at the screens again, giving all of his attention, "Health, full. Mana, full. No abnormal status." Then, he looked at Jirachi who raised both of his arms; a sign to show that he was feeling perfectly fine as well.

It was one of the to-do things he had to perform before entering a dungeon. An important suggestion he learned from the book 'How to be a 'Great' summoner: Beginner edition'.

"Alright, let's go," Harry finally stepped forward.

Jirachi and Teddy did not say anything other than follow alongside him.

This dungeon door looked very ominous with its rusty metal bars, quite opposite from the first one. And he could not see what was on the other side. Well, not clearly at least. He could see a grassy field, and he could outline the small stone structures. But the image was colorless and too transparent for Harry to figure out the other details.

"If you are wondering what is on the other side, let me save you the suspense," Teddy spoke up with his usual dry tone, "There is a graveyard."

Harry blinked once, and then it hit him, "It was sarcasm, wasn't it?"

"A bright child, you are."

Huffing, Harry took long strides and finally crossed the door. He felt that usual tingling sensation.

Welcome to the tutorial dungeon 'Leaving the Nest'

Harry's first impression of the new dungeon was that he did not like it, not one bit. It was 11 am, and outside had a clear sky with nice weather. He chose the morning, this time specifically because he did not want to be in a graveyard filled with zombies at night.

Turned out, it did not matter because inside the dungeon, it was nighttime. And like any other scary movie, it was chilly, unnaturally quiet, and the only light source they had, Harry looked up, "That's a moon?"

Some dungeons will have environments completely different from the real world. Certain dungeons will also have entry time-restricted. And in very rare cases, even the laws of physics will be different.

Harry frowned. The last line sounded very ominous.

For now, focus on the current dungeon.

He shrugged his shoulders. The system was right, he needed to focus.

Although this is a tutorial dungeon, you and Jirachi can get hurt or even seriously injured. So be extra cautious.

This was not the first time the system warned him about this. Still, every time he heard it… Shaking his head, he took out his grimoire 'Caelum'.

The map of the dungeon has been shared with you.

"Wot?"

Suddenly the surrounding became slightly brighter. Even the faraway fogs became more transparent.

"There, shared the map with ya."

Harry smiled at Teddy, "Thank you."

"Don't sweat it lad," He then pointed at the road ahead of them, "This path should lead us to the central area where you will find the chapel. This so-called dungeon boss should be there as well."

Harry nodded, reciting what he learned before, "The dungeon boss will reside in a place that has the most significant value."

"Alright, chapel it is then," Teddy looked from left to right, "Cause there is nothing else other than that. But as per my request, we will be taking a detour."

"We will go to the old section where the guard office is."

"Good, now…"

"Harry, Teddy."

Harry looked at Jirachi and then followed his line of vision, "Oh."

Teddy readied his shovel, "Bloody hell!"

It was a zombie, and it looked worse and scarier than his first tutorial dungeon. And it was walking toward them.

"Observe!"

Name: Zombie A

Type: Undead

Level: 5

Health: 250

"There is another one behind it, Harry."

Harry felt his heartbeat rising. He leaned to the left, and then to the right, but he could not see the other zombie.

"Focus on this abomination first!"

Before Teddy even finished his sentence, the first zombie was pushed back. A second later, he was lifted off the ground and was harshly slammed to the wall on their right. Another second later, it was slammed into the other wall. The zombie took a few seconds to steady his footing, but when it did…

"Sagittae, Attack!"

Two blue arrows hit it directly on the chest. The zombie let out a zombie-like groan but did not go down. But it could only take two more steps before it was hit with Jirachi's 'Psychic' again.

And this time, it did go down.

Harry could not celebrate since he finally saw the second zombie, "Alright, let's do it again."

This was their plan. Jirachi would start the attack by using 'Psychic' and then he would use the additional effect to bash the zombie a few times. Harry would then follow up with his 'Sagittae'. If the zombie still moved, the Jirachi would go for the finish.

Just like that, the second zombie also went down.

Harry was used to the first two lines, but not the third one, "Wait, I got money from defeating the zombies?"

"You got what?!"

Dungeon enemies, by default, will always drop currencies used in the magical world. Certain enemies, for example, elites or bosses, will give more beneficial items.

"Huh, that is unexpected."

"Lad, do you mind explaining what this is about."

And Harry did so. He told Teddy what he learned. When he was done, the ghost was chuckling, "Get money by killing zombies. What a way to motivate someone."

Harry gave him a dry look and pointed at where the zombies were, "Not everyone is willing to go against those regardless of the reward."

Teddy followed his direction and sighed, "You have a point there," Then he looked at Jirachi who was using Harry's makeshift backpack as a chair to rest, "Is your little fairy okay?"

Harry let out a sad smile as he adjusted the backpack to make it more comfortable for Jirachi, "He is fine, just a bit tired. It's because his 'Psychic' attack uses a lot of mana."

"Mana is this blue thing, right?" Teddy pointed at his top left side. It was then Harry remembered that their ghost friend could also see the party screen since he was in his party, "I am guessing it means he can't spam those attacks."

Harry just nodded back.

"So, what was that attack anyway?" Before Harry could answer though, Teddy quickly added, "Keep it simple, ya?"

"Well," Harry took a few seconds to modify the information in his head, "It's called 'Psychic', and it does huge damage. Plus, he can move the enemy's body if it is not too big."

Teddy snorted, "Psychic, huh, I thought it was…" He looked at Jirachi before shaking his head, "Never mind."

Harry shrugged his shoulders before addressing Jirachi, "How are you feeling, Jirachi?"

"I am good to go, Harry."

Jirachi sounded energetic but Harry could see from the party screen that Jirachi's mana was not full yet.

"Let's wait for a few more minutes, alright?"

"Hey, little fairy," Teddy spoke up, "Next time, you use that attack, instead of bashing the zombies against the wall," He pointed above them, "Throw them high up, as high as you can. And if possible," The smile Terry had then was similar to cartoon villains Harry had seen before, "Rotate their body so that their head is facing down."

Jirachi floated over to Teddy before looking ahead, "Ya, I can try that."

"Fantastic, shall we try it out now?"

"No," Harry shook his head, "Not until Jirachi's mana is full."

"Look lad, it's almost full."

"No," Harry's voice was firmer this time. The system told him over and over again how important 'Health' and 'Mana' were, and how he ought to try his best to make sure these bars were always full, be it his or for his summons'.

"Alright," The ghost physically backed down, "It's your call."

Harry smiled and looked at Jirachi who went back to rest on his backpack.

A few minutes later, they finally started moving. And it did not take long before they found their next enemy.

"Remember, hit, then throw them high up, and make sure to rotate their body during the throw."

Jirachi puffed his chest as he stood in front of them, "Okay!"

Before the zombie even noticed them, it was gone. It looked quite funny from Harry's point of view. But he and Jirachi had to look away when the zombie crashed down.

"Wow," Harry looked at the zombie again, but it was already disintegrating, "It worked?!"

"Yay~" Jirachi started bouncing in the air.

"One shot, one kill," Teddy laughed, "This should be a piece of cake."

And it was. All the zombies in the main walkway, and the blocks connected to it, were singlehandedly taken care of by Jirachi. Another reason for this being easy was that the zombies were mostly alone; and at max, there would be two in an area. Also, Harry made sure that Jirachi got enough breaks to fill up his mana.

Within thirty minutes, they cleaned up the entire entrance section and reached the central area.

"It's empty."

It was true. The central area in front of them was a large open space filled with broken gravestones, but not a single zombie was in sight.

"The chapel is over there," Harry followed Teddy's direction and saw the chapel. It was an old chapel made mostly of wood, and half of it was missing.

"It looks worse than I remember. Anyway," Teddy then pointed in the opposite direction, "That is the detour we are taking."

Harry shook his head and started following Teddy who took the lead now. But he kept looking back at the large empty space, and for some reason, it was creeping him out.

"It is empty for a reason, and I have a feeling that it is not a good one."

Harry had to agree with Teddy on that one. He would have to be extra careful when he would explore that area.

The road to the old section was a short one, and they did not encounter any zombies. Harry was not so sure anymore if it was a good thing or not.

"There," Teddy pointed at the gate in front of them, "Just after it…"

"Harry."

Jirachi's tone immediately shut Teddy up. Harry, who was alert from the beginning, whispered, "What is it Jirachi?"

"I dunno," Jirachi was now floating at Harry's level, "I just feel like we should be careful."

"That's good enough for me," Teddy also whispered back. He crouched down and pointed in a specific direction, "Let's see if we can sneak in instead of using the front door."

Both Harry and Teddy started to crouch and made sure not to go anywhere near the open door. Jirachi, on the other hand, got a piggyback ride from Harry. They silently went to the very edge of the wall and found a spot that they could use to squeeze inside.

"Wait," Teddy stopped them, "Just hear me out, okay. I think the fairy should enter first."

Harry openly scowled at the ghost.

"Listen, he is small, and he can move faster than both of us. I am not saying that he should scout the area by himself. All I am saying is that he should go in first and inform us first what is inside."

"Then we are both going."

"Harry, I think Mr. Ghost is right," Jirachi stood in front of the crack, "And besides, you can always use 'Return' on me."

Harry did not answer immediately. He weighed the advantages and disadvantages, well technically there was only one disadvantage and that was Jirachi being stuck inside somehow.

"Sagittae," Two blue arrows appeared right above Harry's head, "Okay Jirachi, go inside but don't wander around. Just say what you see from the entrance."

Jirachi smiled and slowly floated inside. A few seconds later, which felt too long for Harry, Jirachi whispered back from the other side, "I can see the zombies. There are three."

Teddy scowled, "Are they wearing black clothes?"

"Yes, and they look puffy too."

The ghost beside Harry took a deep breath, "It's them."

Harry nodded his head before looking at the crack, "Okay Jirachi, come back now."

"Wait," Teddy stopped him, "Anything else you see on them?"

There was a two-second pause before the answer came, "Yes, two of them are holding sticks I think, and one has an axe."

Harry's eyebrows shot up, zombies carrying weapons.

"Shit!" Teddy cursed but not out loud.

"Jirachi, come back, now!"

The moment Jirachi was out Harry gave his best friend a hug. And when he felt Jirachi's warmth, all the tension and fear disappeared in an instant.

"Listen," the urgency in Teddy's voice instantly drew their attention, "We need a plan."

Ten minutes later, they were finally ready. Their main fear was not the weapons but not knowing how unique the zombies were. The axe-wielding one was special, no doubt about that, but they were not sure about the other two. And this 'special' status was causing the biggest drawback since Jirachi would be unable to use his attack's additional effect on them.

Jirachi can move his opponent's body for 5 seconds. This effect will not occur if his opponent is larger than 'Human Size' or if the opponent possesses any special status or equipment.

The moment Harry informed Teddy about this, he looked like he was ready to march out. He took a few moments to calm down but when he did, he came up with a plan and a backup plan.

Harry really loved the backup plan. If everything were to go south, then they would need to bolt. No testing, no trying out… at the very first sign of things not working out, they would need to run for the dungeon gate.

"Alright lads, you all ready?"

Harry nodded. He was nervous and scared, but a tiny part of him was excited, he was not sure why.

Jirachi shook his head and slowly entered the old area through the door. Two seconds later, they saw a zombie blasting off toward the sky.

"Alright, that settles one of our issues."

"Ah~ Harry~" Jirachi was out immediately with a panicked expression.

"Jirachi, you alright?!"

"What happened?"

Jirachi flew toward Harry and pointed at the door, "The zombies are faster."

Both Teddy and Harry looked at the door and finally saw the 'special' zombie. All the zombies Harry encountered before were wearing old and torn clothes, something that even a homeless person would not wear. And all of them were missing huge chunks of flesh, fortunately in a way that did not look too scary. But this one was wearing a bulky outfit that was old but still looked sturdy. And its face looked less zombie-like, Harry was not sure why.

The special zombie roared at them making Harry flinch but not a second later, he shouted back, "Attack!"

The arrows that were still hovering above his head flew off and hit the zombie, who did not even flinch.

Harry blinked before realizing what just happened. It was the first zombie.

"I am guessing the other bastard died," Teddy's grim tone startled Harry, "This is the son of a bitch I was looking for," He pointed his shovel to the other zombie that came out, "Take care of that one, I will distract this shitface."

Teddy screamed, while moving away from them, "Oi! You dead bastard, remember me!"

Harry also started moving in the other direction when he noticed that both zombies were focusing on Teddy.

"Observe."

Health: 300

Name: Elite Zombie Thug

Harry frowned when he figured out that his arrow attack did little damage to the special zombie.

"Harry?" Jirachi whispered.

Harry nodded back, "Whenever you are ready."

The moment he said that the other zombie staggered back, and a second later, he took off.

The elite zombie who was approaching Teddy stopped and looked back. It looked at the other zombie, which was still going up, and then at them. The moment Harry's eyes met its, he felt his blood going cold.

With a roar, the elite zombie started coming at them. Now Harry understood what Jirachi meant before. The way this elite zombie was moving as if he was jogging. Not too fast, but a hideous monster wielding a fireman's axe moving at that speed was enough to scare anyone.

"Oi! Bastard, where are you going?!"

The elite zombie completely ignored Teddy. Harry was ready to run with Jirachi but stopped when he saw the zombie staggering back. As usual, Jirachi already got the first strike in, but Harry could see that it did not do enough damage. Both of them would be out of mana before they could defeat it.

Then, he saw it, an opening. And he was not going to miss this.

"Sagittae, attack!"

The two arrows hit the zombie exactly where he wanted to, the uncovered head.

Critical hit landed

"Yes!"

A loud splat-like sound came from behind the wall, after which Harry's favorite message appeared.

Harry's smile dropped when he saw the elite zombie raising its axe to cover his head.

"This ain't fair!"

Another shout came, from their ally ghost this time. Teddy ran toward the zombie from behind and hit its head with his shovel. Granted, the shovel went through its head without doing any damage, but surprisingly, this startled it enough to lower the axe.

"Twinkle star, attack again!"

Another 'Psychic', and the elite zombie staggered again giving the same opening. Harry did not waste a single second, "Sagittae, attack!"

Critical hit landed

Their combo was doing a massive amount of damage. Harry could literally see how much Health it was losing each time. And based on how much it had left, "Just one more combo!"

"You. piece. of. shit!" Teddy was swinging his shovel with all his might. None of his swings was doing any damage but it was annoying the hell out of that zombie.

Of course, Jirachi and he did not miss this opportunity. One more 'Psychic' allowed Harry to land another critical hit.

But the zombie did not go down. Harry was not scared because he could see that it barely had any health left.

"Jirachi, I will…"

"Just die already!"

Teddy swung again. But this time, he hit it… which surprised all of them.

"How did I?" Teddy looked at his shovel, and then swung it at a rock nearby. As usual, it went through it, "Huh~ A fluke, perhaps."

"No," Harry shook his head, "It's magic."

Teddy snorted, "Really, lad, you're gonna go with that angle…"

Harry raised an eyebrow at him, "You are a ghost, and we just defeated tons of zombies."

Teddy opened his mouth but then closed it. A second later, he started to chuckle, "You know what, you are right," He dropped the shovel which instantly disappeared, "And that means, I am finally free."

Jirachi hovered closer to Teddy and looked up at him sadly, "Are you leaving already?"

That made Harry panic, and more so when he noticed Teddy becoming more transparent, "What is happening?"

"Now, now," Their ghost friend smiled back, "You two are not going say something cheesy like this is making you sad, are you?"

Jirachi was the first to speak up, "But you are our friend."

Harry, on the other hand, could only let out a whisper, "And you helped us so much."

For a few seconds, no one said anything. Then Teddy walked up to them and went down on his knees when he was within their reach, "Harry, Jirachi," This was the first time Teddy said their names which surprised both of them. He touched their cheeks, "Thank you for saving me, for giving me justice. I do not know what lies ahead of you but promise me that you will not forget what you did here. You two were a hero for this forgotten ghost."

Harry looked down.

"Can you promise me that?"

"Yes," Jirachi answered first. Harry glanced at his best friend first before looking at Teddy, "I promise."

With a grateful smile, Teddy stood up, "That's the spirit. Now, this will be cheesy I know, but who cares, let me rest, damn it!"

Teddy let out a boisterous laugh before slowly disappearing.

Harry closed his eyes and prayed silently for Teddy. When he was done, he asked Jirachi, "Do you think he is happy?"

"Yup~" The instant reply made him smile. He looked at where Teddy was standing just moments ago one more time before turning away.

"Inventory."

Amongst the new items, he already knew what 'Potion' and 'Ether' were, so he did not need to check their description. Still, he was glad that he finally had these because one of the lessons was that as a 'Gamer' he must always stock up on these, "Now, I just need an antidote."

He clicked on the first new item.

"Why?"

Harry glanced at Jirachi while pointing at the 'Requirement' part, "I am a 'Caster' class, and this can be used by 'Melee' ones."

Jirachi huffed, "Well, we do not need a stupid old axe. But what will you do with it?"

Harry shrugged his shoulders, "Dunno, probably will sell it to Mr. M." His focus then went to the second item.

Scroll of Fire Blast I

"Okay, this may be useful."

Jirachi started bouncing on his spot, "We can use it against the dungeon boss."

Harry smiled at that idea, "You're a genius Jirachi." His best friend puffed his chest at his praise.

"Wait, but how do I activate it?"

While holding the item, say 'Activate', then throw it at your target, Harry.

"Thank you, system," Harry closed the inventory screen. It was time to head to the central area. The journey back did not take long but Harry missed Teddy. Granted, the ghost had a potty mouth and his attacks were of no help, but he gave tons of advice, and… it was nice having an adult around in this scary dungeon.

"To the chapel, then?"

Jirachi nodded back, "Yea~ But let's be careful."

"Trust me, buddy," Harry started to tiptoe, making sure that he was making no sound, "Way ahead of you on that."

Jirachi also lowered himself so that he was hovering on Harry's level.

The central area of the graveyard was quite big, but thankfully it was an open area meaning there were no spots for zombies to hide. He just hoped, prayed, that no zombies would come out from underground. No such things happened here but he had seen a few movies where zombies did so.

The first thing they saw when they reached the chapel… was the dungeon boss.

It was a very huge zombie wearing an old yellow construction uniform. And it was holding a makeshift large hammer.

Luckily, it was sleeping.

"Okay, time out."

"Why is it sleeping?"

Harry looked at Jirachi, astonished, "Jirachi, who cares if it is sleeping or not, we cannot defeat something like that."

The dungeon boss will awaken if anyone enters its area.

Hearing the system, both looked down to see the not-so-subtle blue line circling the area. Harry took a step back and whispered, "So, it will not wake up if we make a sound outside of the line."

Unless it is an ability aimed toward it, then no

"We just gonna talk."

Then no

Harry released a deep breath through his mouth. He looked at the zombie boss and remembered what Mr. M told him, "Can I use 'Observe'?"

There is a 50% probability of it waking up the dungeon boss.

"Alright, not using it then."

"Harry," Jirachi came closer, "I think we can defeat it."

Harry's eyebrows shot up. He looked at the dungeon boss and then at his best friend, "Jirachi, don't you see the size of that zombie? We had so much trouble with that elite one, and this one looks like he eats those elites for breakfast."

"But we have that scroll, and we can go for a preemptive strike."

"Pre-what strike?"

A preemptive strike refers to launching a surprise attack against an enemy.

"Ahh, so it is like the surprise attack we did earlier."

They are similar, yes. And a well-planned preemptive strike has a high chance of landing a critical hit.

"Okay," That was something Harry could work with. He turned to Jirachi, "Let's plan first. If it works, we go for it. If not, we are getting out of here."

Jirachi nodded back, "No objections."

Harry stepped forward to inspect the dungeon boss more closely. But he made sure to stay at least a meter away from the line, "Okay, it's clear that we have to hit its head to land that critical hit. But," Harry took out the scroll and tried to measure the distance.

"You won't reach him."

"Yes," Harry let out a dejected sigh, "I won't reach even if I am standing in the line."

"How about I use 'Psychic' on it?"

Harry turned to Jirachi, "That can…" Then he recalled what the attack actually did, "Damage the scroll first, no?" Because 'Psychic' would deal raw damage first before allowing Jirachi to move the object.

Now it was Jirachi who let out a dejected sigh.

"But, thank you Jirachi, this actually gave me an idea," Seeing Jirachi getting perked up made Harry smile, "Remember the cartoon we watched yesterday. Where those cats attached the sword to a missile and fired from their plane."

"We can attach the fire scroll to something," Then Jirachi looked somewhere behind Harry and beamed, "Let's use that."

Harry followed Jirachi's gaze and smiled when he saw the object. It was the broken cross of the chapel. They grinned at each other and ran toward it.

"Won't it be heavy?" Harry was worried after seeing it close up. It was made of wood, yes, but it was still big and intact.

In reply, Jirachi just telepathically picked it up and slowly moved it to the side, "No, I think I am good."

Harry took a second to realize that Jirachi just flexed. Then, he laughed out loud, "You got me Jirachi. I should not have questioned your awesomeness."

Jirachi puffed his chest again before looking down at the cross. Harry did so as well. The cross was not in a bad shape but the bottom part of it was damaged in such a way that it created a sharp edge. A few seconds later, their gazes met and they grinned.

"Hit the zombie with the pointed end!"

"Hit the zombie with the pointed end!"

For the next fifteen minutes, they set up the attack. Jirachi needed to use his 'Psychic' a few times to put the cross in front of the line and to position it perfectly. Luckily, Jirachi's 'Psychic' did not damage it that much. Harry, on the other hand, had to look around for a rope. He found some strong vines which he used to create a makeshift rope. He then bound the scroll on the sharp edge of the cross.

Then they waited.

Finally, Harry looked away from the party screen when their 'Mana' was completely refilled. He released a deep breath before looking at Jirachi, "First you hit him with our 'Canon'."

Jirachi looked above Harry, "Then you will follow up with your Sagittae."

"Then we hit it with our 'Psychic Sagittae' combo one more time before falling back."

Jirachi nodded, "You will use 'Observe' to see how much health it has. If too much, we run."

"Alright," Harry shook his head and raised his left arm since his right was holding his grimoire, "We got this."

Taking and releasing another deep breath, Harry brought down his arm, "Fire!"

"Ya!" Jirachi let out a cute scream and used 'Psychic' on their makeshift canon. The cross flew toward the sleeping zombie boss and hit it on the head, causing an explosion. The flare of the explosion caused Harry to look away for a second.

CRITICAL HIT landed

CRITICAL HIT landed

Harry blinked once at the message in front of him wondering why there was a duplicate message in bold letters before realizing that he lost his focus, "Crap. Move the screen…"

Exp gained (Harry): 1500

Exp gained (Jirachi): 1500

Received 5 Galleons

Received 'Rusty Giant Hammer'

Received 'Rusty old cloak'

"Wot?"

"What?"

Then he saw it. The smoke cleared up and the giant zombie fell down on the ground… while its head was completely missing.

Tutorial Dungeon (Leaving the Next) has been cleared

Reward: 3250 exp

Reward: 'Complete Guide to Solo a Dungeon: Summoner edition'

"Time out, time out. What just happened?"

Harry, general zombies are weak against two attributes – Fire and Holy, meaning using anything with these two attributes against them will do additional damage. You used the scroll of Fire attribute and the cross which contained a bit of Holy energy. And the attack hit its weak spot. So, in short, you have dealt massive critical damage to the dungeon boss.

"Okay," Harry started to scratch his head, "So, that's it?"

"Wait," Jirachi came closed and looked up at the screen, "We beat the boss in one shot?"

You are the second person ever to kill the tutorial boss in a single shot

Harry frowned as he hugged his best friend, "Jirachi was the one who did it."

Apologies,

You two are the second team ever to kill the tutorial boss in a single shot

Harry smiled and felt Jirachi's happiness through the hug.

Such accomplishment deserves an additional reward

Received 10 'Potion', 10 'Ether', 10 'Antidote'

"Awesome!" Harry grinned. He knew he needed those badly.

With this, you have completed the tutorial, Harry

Harry let go of Jirachi. He did not know why but he felt something was wrong, "System?"

"System? What do you mean by that?" Harry timidly asked.

Harry, I am the tutorial mode, an additional layer that was added to the system to assist you during the initial part of your journey. It was my duty to make sure you understand the game mechanics, learn about the new world, and that you are protected from the external factors that want to control or harm you. With you receiving the third and final gift from the Star of Solidarity, you are ready for the next step of your journey.

"But there is more that I need to learn from you!"

"Harry," Jirachi faced him, his voice small, "Is the system leaving too?"

No, Jirachi. The Game System will always remain. I, the tutorial mode will… leave. It is so that you two can grow without any clutches.

"How does this help us grow?!" Harry shouted back.

Learn from real people, real experiences. Explore the world as it is intended. Depending on the 'Helpful' system will make you focus on numbers and benefits. Most Gamers fall for this which make them cold or calculative. And that is not the trait of 'Heroes' who saved a forgotten ghost.

Harry looked down. He did not understand what the tutorial system was saying, and he did not want to understand. He knew, in his heart, that the tutorial system was doing what was best for him. He sniffed once before wiping his eyes with his sleeve, "Will we see you again?"

Anything is possible in the realms of magic, Harry

Harry nodded his head, and wiped his eyes again, "Thank you so much, tutorial."

Jirachi also started to wipe his eyes with his tiny hands, "Thank you, tutorial."

I suppose I can assist you one last time.

Will you check your new item, Harry.

Harry nodded before opening his inventory and locating the new item.

Summoning Scroll: Unknown-Tier

The third and final gift of the Star of Solidarity. This powerful one-of-a-kind scroll will allow the user to summon a being 'That he needs'.

With this Unknown tier scroll, the Gamer can summon a being of any tier, depending on the LUK of the Gamer.

Bonus effect: During the summoning, the LUK of the Gamer will be increased by 40%.

This item cannot be sold as it is bound to Harry Potter

Harry read the description a few times but with his mind being jumbled and his eyes being teary, he really could not focus on it.

You will never receive a summoning scroll like this Harry. It would be wise to use all the items that boost your LUK for this scroll.

It took a few seconds for Harry to realize what the tutorial was suggesting, "You want me to use those two unknown items?"

You or Jirachi would have figured it out sooner or later. LUK items are extremely important for summoners since your 'Summon' heavily relies on this attribute. So, find and collect items that boost your LUK, Harry, and only use them during the summoning. As for your current situation, what better way to use 'Legendary tier' items that raises your LUK on a summoning scroll that is more powerful than a Legendary tier.

"But before you said that I should learn more about those items, that they could be really helpful on my journey," Harry looked down, "That they may give me clues about my past."

This is just a suggestion, Harry. You can take a leap of faith now or take a wait-and-see approach. Regardless, the choice is yours.

Harry looked at the inventory, at those two specific items. He would be lying if he said he was okay with parting with those items. He did not know what they did but the system suggested that they were connected to his past. Then he looked at Jirachi. If someone were to say was he willing to trade the blessing that allowed him to have Jirachi for learning about his past, then he would refuse it in a heartbeat.

There was nothing in this world he would trade for his best friend. Then he looked at the scroll, "Will having high LUK allow me to summon someone like Jirachi?"

The possibility is extremely high

"Are we having a new friend?" The smile on Jirachi's face washed away all of Harry's doubts.

He smiled back, "Yes, we are."

As Jirachi started to do his bouncing-while-floating thing, Harry took out the first item.

'Horcrux of a powerful Dark Lord'

Again, that uncomfortable bad vibe hit him with full force, "Well, no more of that I guess." With that, Harry squeezed the rock and it shattered into purple dust.

Your LUK has been doubled (only for the next summoning)

Current LUK: 198

Then, he took out the next item.

'Sacrificial Protection rune'

Unlike the first one, where he did not even need to think for a second, he was having a hard time with this item. This small rock was radiating a type of warmth that felt really nice. If he did not have Jirachi, then he probably would have held onto this item all the time. Taking a shaky breath, he pressed the stone on his forehead and whispered, "Thank you."

He did not know why but he felt like he had to do it. With that, he squeezed it.

Your LUK has been doubled (only for the next summoning)

Current LUK: 396

Harry took a long deep breath, "Alright," Finally, he took out the summoning scroll, "This is it!"

"Good luck, Harry," Jirachi grinned from his side, "I hope you get Celebi this time."

Harry was not sure what Jirachi meant but he held the scroll in front of him and shouted, "Summon!"

Your LUK has increased by 40% (only for the next summoning)

Your LUK attribute has reached the maximum value. It cannot rise any further…

Current LUK: 500

Then nothing happened. Harry looked at the scroll he was still holding, and then at the screen in front of him, "So…"

It has been an honor and pleasure guiding you, young Harry.

Until we meet again...

"System?"

The world around Harry flashed a bright white color and the next he saw was the sun. Bright, massive, and right in front of him. He did not feel any heat from it but rather he felt a curious gaze.

Then the roar came, and everything became white again.
