THE GOD'S LEGACY Chapter 17
A/N:- So, do you guys want Percy back? Or not? Your choice… because like if you don't, then this story is done here! This will be the last chapter after which I'll start another story involving this Percy only, because I've got another idea about him… but, if you want him back, then we can progress with this crossover further! Tiger and Pixie-Bob had brought Percy's body to the hospital in hopes that he could be saved, but they knew that it was pointless.
They had covered the hole in the chest with his hands crossed over it.
The all-powerful hero had died on his birthday.
The other heroes and UA students were also admitted to that hospital but all had gathered around the fallen hero lying on the stretcher.
The doctors had tried to resuscitate him but even Recovery Girl's quirk was ineffective on him.
Bakugo only had one expression on his face and only one thought in his mind which he spoke aloud.
"He's not coming back this time, is he?"
Everyone had tears in their eyes as Kirishima wept along with Mina.
Nezu was also sitting there, a solemn expression on his face.
Todoroki looked at his father and All Might and knew that they both were having the same thought.
'How could he have died?'
Even Eri had come and had to be held back from rushing over to the dead body by a very tearful Mirio.
"I can bring him back," The little girl yelled. "I can…"
"No, Eri, please, don't…. don't overwork yourself," Togata's voice broke as tears streamed down his cheeks.
The hero was given a proper burial with his body inside an ornately designed coffin with blue waves decorated on it.
Several military men were standing around it, including the lieutenant Percy had saved as they placed the box under the ground. They saluted, shouting out a command as the cannons shot in the air.
Almost all of Japan's population had gathered for the burial.
People laid flowers around it as the government issued the making of another statue, this time of gold to commemorate the fallen hero.
But, the people only remembered him for a few days. After that, hero society crumbled fully.
People lost faith in heroes, knowing that Shigaraki was out there, and there were no heroes left to beat him.
The two strongest heroes were gone. All Might had retired and Percy had died.
There was no one left to save the defenseless humans.
And with that was the final blow that Dabi had delivered to the reputation of the Number 1. Hero.
All in all, Japan was in disorder.
And All For One had something far greater planned for the country and the world.
He grinned inside his mask in the world-class prison, Tartarus as he knew his plan was going to unfold soon, very soon as he heard a huge blast outside the facility.
A/N:- Only this much for now! I'm not really good at writing emotional and aftermath scenes, so this is the best I can do. In fact, I can't even write action well… I just try my best. Now… about the thing that I wrote in the first Author's note… I feel like Percy should not come back… at least in this world. The rest is up to you guys! Do tell me in the reviews!
