"To stop the time machine you will need to use the Professor's ID, which has been embedded within the Violet Book." Turo said when they approached. "It was very like the Professor to put the final key we would need in that book of all places. He loved that volume since childhood. If you place the Violet book upon the pedestal here you will be able to stop the time machine. There is just one issue. If you try to stop the machine, I will most likely attack you. Artificial Being that I am, my own desires can be overridden by the systems progamming. Once that happens I'm afraid I will become no more then a battle machine, bound to defeat anyone identified as an obstacle by my code. My battling abilities are peerless. They are built upon analysis of all the battles carried out by the various champions of the Paldea Region. Having seen the bond between you and your pokemon however, I believe you can prevail. Upon doing so the time machine entered battle mode by taking over AI Turo, and making him speak in a way that they tried to forget. After raising him near the ceiling, and activating the machine in a way they could not explain. Unfortunately for him it was one against two, meaning it was easy to defeat Iron Moth, Iron Jugulis, Iron Bundle, Iron Hands, Iron Thorns and his Iron Valiant. Targeting the type weaknesses just made it easier. Winning the battle, and making the room go dark as Arven, Chloe, and Akari ran up.
"Okay, out with it you…" Arven said to the AI Professor Turo. "Who are you really?!"
"Th-thank you… for… everything…" he said, glitching out. "The time machinə… has finally… he has… finally… been stoppəd…"
"You're really not… my dad, are you?" Arven said.
"Oh…" Turo said. "Look… how big you've grown… 5o… p-proud of you… my… sorry… you wəre alone s-so… long… Arvə-"
"D… Dad?!" Arven asked as the room lit up again.
"Security system failure! Security system failure!" A warning sounded. "Threat to time machine detected! Threat to time machine detected!"
"Wh-wh-whoa! What's going on now?" Penny asked as everyone looked around.
"It… cannot bə-!" Turo said.
"An obstacle is preventing the time machine from performing as intended." The voice said. "Activating Paradise Protection Protocol to remove said obstacle."
"Wha-?! Was kəəping the timə machinə running truly all thə Profəssor carəd about?" Turo asked.
"One obstacle detected to be brought here by a glitch in time machine sending them back." The voice said as a beam of energy lanced out and sent Akari into the air and through the now reactivated Time Machine. "Preventing Iron Trickster and Iron Soul from using moves." The voice said, hacking into them and removing their movesets, so they could not fight back. "Locking all pokeballs except those registered to Turo's ID." It then hacked the pokeballs and prevented them from being opened, as tera Crystal's started growing over AI Turo. "Program initializing. Gathering Terastalized energy."
"I'm sorry children…" Turo said as he was overtaken "This is too much for you… you must run!"
"AI Turo disabled. Paradise Protection Protocol initialized." The voice said as Turo was taken over again and forced them to fight the second Miraidon while the pokeball was blocked from opening and Ashley and Penny could not fight. Luckily seeing them in trouble Miraidon was able to regain its battle form, and was able to Terastalize and win. Stopping the Paradise Protection Protocol. As well as the time machine when afterwards AI Turo, having learned that it was part of the time machine, used it to leave to the far future, just like it had sent Akari back to where it retrieved her from.
The group then headed back out taking the scenic route back to the academy, with Chloe telling everyone what Akari told her about her life while they were fighting off the pokemon of the future.
