Chapter 50 Aftermath of War

Its been 7 months since the Clone wars came to an end due to the fact that the Sentinels and Machines had turned on the Empire because of the Master Mold.

Now the Galaxy was recovering and rebuilding from the 18 month long war across the Galaxy.

Right now Sean was on Earth with his family.

Ahsoka giggled as she held her baby Son Damian who giggled at her.

"Mommy loves you so much." Ahsoka said kissing him as he laughed.

Sean seeing this smiled as he sat down watching local news.

In the Seven months he stood down from his position and handed it to Anakin to spend more time with his family.

Thats when he spotted Satele walking to him making him smile as he picked her up.

"Dada." Satele said making him chuckle as he kissed her.

"Oh you kids were worth fighting for." Sean said as Jinora walked out and took her.

"I'm just glad it's over." Jinora said holding her close as Satele yawned making her smile as she fell asleep before holding her large stomach showing she was pregnant again.

"You know the Air Nation is gonna take a long time before it comes back up to a large number." Sean said making her smile.

"This isn't about the Air nation. I just want to have another since I had less time with Satele because of the war. Besides...Even if the Air Nation doesn't recover in large number...It doesn't matter since because of you we get to live forever." Jinora said making him smile as he held them close.

Later

Sean and his Family were at Republic City seeing Dooku giving a speech about the end of the War.

"You know I'm kinda disappointed he didn't take the President position. He would have been a better leader than Raiko if he actually was put in office first." Korra said

"Oh no doubt but I think the fact of the matter is that Raiko left a sour impression that one man should never have that much power. Organa is one thing because people actually trust him." Sean said.

"Speaking of which I heard he's planning to downsize the Legion military by 25%." Korra said.

"Aye. That was something we all planned to do when the War was over and he agreed with. The War's over. We don't need a massive army anymore. We'll continue to buy the clones that they've already made since theres still that one major threat we need to deal with that is coming." Sean said.

"YOU ARE ALL FOOLS!" Raiko yelled surprising them.

"What the?" Sean said.

"You all threw away the greatest empire like peace loving fools you all are. You should be ashamed!" Raiko roared.

Sean rushed to Dooku who looked displeased.

"What the fuck is he doing out of Jail?" Sean asked.

"He got out last month due to a technicality. And besides, we're using him to reveal any and all remaining allies of the empire. He's already revealed seven of them without even realizing it. He's a fool but a useful one in this case." Dooku said.

"Ah." Sean said seeing what he was doing.

"Get lost." Korra said as Raiko looked at her and growled before charging at her but she kicked him back.

"Those brats belong to the Empire! I'll rebuild it myself and use them to kill the Jedi!" Raiko roared.

"Arrest him." Dooku said as he was taken while struggling.

"I cannot believe this guy actually thinks the Empire was a good thing." Jinora said.

"Idiots will be idiots." Sean said as they left.

Later

Asami was in a prison waiting.

"Asami." Hiroshi said walking in with a beat up face as he sat down in front of her. "You actually came." Hiroshi said.

"I'm only here to tell you to stop sending me messages. I don't want anything to do with you anymore. Not after all the pain and suffering you caused the whole Galaxy for 18 months of War." Asami said.

"So it's finally over." Hiroshi said.

"If your thinking the Empire won think again. They lost because they turned on each other. Your little secret weapon failed. Star Killer Base is now nothing more than ash. Thanks to Essax's sentinels turning on them." Asami said making him sigh. "Disapointed your little murder weapon didn't do the Job you wanted?" Asami asked.

"No...If anything I'm relieved it's over." Hiroshi said.

"You expect me to believe that?" Asami asked.

"I finally realized what I did was wrong. I was just so angry about what happened with your mother...That I didn't realize I was directing that anger on everyone else...I made horrible weapons. Weapons that killed innocent people. Helped make a terrible weapon of destruction that could have destroyed the galaxy. All because I believed the lies of the Sith...Who were responsible for everything that happened to us." Hiroshi said.

"How did you find out?" Asami asked.

"One of the Guards talked. I was so shocked to learn that they killed your mother...Just to give me a reason to join them. Everything I did was because of them." Hiroshi said.

"That doesn't excuse what you did to everyone. There are millions of dead people because of you. Orphans because of the machines you made. Hell, you wouldn't even listen to anything Sean and the others said because you wouldn't listen to anyone else because you thought you were right in every way possible. Not even when my life was in danger." Asami said making him sigh.

"I know. I realize more than ever I was so wrong to do what I did. I just thought I was making everything right. But I didn't. I just made everything worse for everyone no matter what side." Hiroshi said.

"Doesn't make it any better." Asami said leaving as he held his head and sobbed.

Later

"You didn't have to go visit him. I could have just told the guards to prevent him from sending him messages." Sean said.

"I know. I just needed to let him know I wanted nothing to do with him anymore. How come he's not dead?" Asami asked knowing since the war was over he no longer had any value.

"Oh he will be soon enough. Everyone is just waiting to make sure the Sith Empire is gone for good. Incase they show up again with something new we'll be able to ask him for any information." Sean said.

"Oh I get it." Asami said.

"Anyway I doubt it will come to that. Even if any Sith did survive we'll find them soon enough since their whole network is gone. More so thanks to Raiko being an idiot." Sean said.

"Is that why he's out? Because he's unknowingly exposing them?" Asami asked.

"Dooku told me that. As for any remaining troops that somehow survived...It won't be long until they eventually are found and either arrested or put down." Sean said.

Meanwhile

On a high place in the Mountains was a small prison that held only one man.

This was Zaheer who had remained here for 15 years after their failed attempt to kidnap Sean and Korra but got beaten by the Jedi.

So here he was sentenced to life.

While the Order and Tarkin believed Unalaq had sent them to take them for himself it was later proven that he had nothing to do with it in this universe unlike the others.

Despite this the Council decided not to have them put down hoping one day they would finally give up the information on who sent them and why.

Thats when Zaheer heard blaster fire outside.

"Hmm?" Zaheer said as he heard the White Lotus screaming in pain.

Outside he heard some beeping before the door to his prison blew off making him cough as someone walked out.

Someone who hadn't been seen since the war Started.

Boba Fett.

"Who are you?" Zaheer asked.

"My name is Boba Fett. And I need your help. I heard from some former White Lotus members you tried to kidnap Kruger and the Avatar 15 years ago." Boba said.

"We tried. What of it?" Zaheer asked.

"I want you to help me kill Kruger. For killing my father." Boba said.

"And how do you expect me to do that without my team?" Zaheer asked before P'li, Ghazan and Ming-Hua showed up surprising him.

"You have them. And I have something for you." Boba said pulling out some special wrist bands.

"What are these?" Zaheer asked before he actually airbended shocking him and the others.

"Something the Sith left behind before the Clone wars ended. They give you the power of Airbending. Sith Technology never ceases to impress." Aurra Sing said.

"So are you in?" Boba asked.

"Yeah." Zaheer said grinning.

Meanwhile

Sean smiled as he held his latest Daughter Mercy.

"Come to Momma." Cara said holding her daughter who snored lightly in her sleep making them smile. "Oh waiting the whole war to have you was well worth the wait sweetie." Cara said kissing her head.

"Hmm." Sean said before chuckling.

"Whats so funny?" Cara asked.

"I watched you in the war being one of the most brutal warriors I had ever seen and met. And here you are so sweet and gentle being a mother." Sean said making her smile.

"What can I say. I love my baby. And she's not the only one I'll have." Cara said making him snort.

"What do you mean they escaped?" Tarkin asked downstairs angered.

"Hmm?" Sean said before going downstairs seeing Tarkin talking with Lin.

"I just got the Report in. Some Bounty Hunters took down the White Lotus and freed all four. And Zaheer was given some tech that makes him an Airbender." Lin said.

"Hey. Whats going on?" Sean asked.

"Yeah, who's Zaheer? You make it sound like someone worse than the Sith is out." Korra said.

"Dad, whats going on?" Sean asked making him sigh.

"Shortly after the Jedi showed up to find you. Zaheer and three others attempted to kidnap both of you. Fortunately they underestimated the Jedi and were taken down. But they were concerned others would try and brought you to the Temple." Tarkin said.

"Thats why they brought us in so young. Why didn't you just kill them?" Sean asked.

"We wanted to but we had reason to believe Unalaq sent them because of the timing. He showed up before they did. And your Counterparts all said he sent them in each universe. But when he was defeated last year...It was revealed he had nothing to do with it in this Universe." Tarkin said.

"So if he had nothing to do with it why keep them?" Cara asked.

"Because we wanted to know who was behind it. Since if history didn't repeat this time like in the others...It meant someone else was behind it. And with the Spirit portals closed it meant no new Airbenders as they told me." Tarkin said.

"Thats why you wanted them to stay closed. So Zaheer wouldn't become an Airbender if they remained opened." Korra said.

"Yes. In each Universe the events were all the same. He becomes an Airbender and escapes and frees the others. Only this time someone set him free and made him an Airbender. However each Zaheer had different motives." Tarkin said.

"Like what?" Korra asked.

"In the Titan universe he believed your counterpart was keeping Godzilla inside him against his will not knowing they had a bond. When they were separated he learned made a mistake. The Ancients he believed the Guardians as he was called forced the Ancients to leave but didn't know they acted as a gateway to their world. And in your Olympian and Avatar Counterparts worlds he believed Chaos was the natural order but later realized he made grave mistakes and fixed them." Tarkin said.

"And My Mutant Counterpart?" Sean asked.

"That one believed the Avatar should be in charge of their world because of Corrupt leaders. However Magneto had his own Agenda. Trying to kill him because he didn't know the truth about his Origins. He died trying to stop him knowing he was mad." Tarkin said.

"And we know nothing about this one." Korra said.

"I recommend we leave. Republic City is not the best option." Tarkin said.
