Maelyth, formerly Maemi, stared intently at the idiot known as Rox. Her cold, piercing light blue dragon eyes were amazingly bright, almost as if a piece of the day sky fell from it. A low, sharp growl rolled over her tongue as she was darting straight at the man. He constantly claimed that she was his bride, and tried to even kidnap her a few times in the past. She never liked him, she never understood why anyone would even fall for this 'charm' of his. If anyone had charm, well… That's a tad difficult.
She roared as she quickly came intact with the large, earth-created titan. She bit down on one of it's large, earthy brown shoulders. Her fangs crushed through a few layers of the titan, and she kicked the titan with one of her hind legs, sending it against a marble-white wall. Her light blue-grey scales shimmered brightly as a large crack in the wall broke into million pieces, sunlight zooming into the room. She stood up more. She saw the earth-titan rise up once more.
"Heh… Pretty good there…" Rox's voice boomed from the titan, the mouth of it moving only slightly. "I'm surprised you have this much power after transforming…" He panted. Inside of the titan, Rox wiped his golden-brown eyebrow tiredly. He turned off the Titan Speak for a moment to mutter to himself. "Holy shit… If I keep up at this rate, the bitch will kill me." He sighed, turning the Titan Speak back on soon after.
"Ahem!" He cleared his voice, prepared to speak. "Maelyth, my dear and sweetest, I do not wish to battle with you. Just simply come to our side, leave that… pesky guild of yours. Living in a marble castle is far better than a piece of woody junk." This ticked Maelyth off. The she-dragon was now staring angrily at him. He once again turned the Magic off. "Great… I am now prepared to die, and possibly eaten!" In all honesty, he fancied her as a human. As a dragon, not so much. He was simply trying to bring her to his side, bring Zeref's full power back, end most of the world as many know it, and rule it. An average villain he often called himself.
All of a sudden, Maelyth replied in some sort of dragon language he couldn't understand. He remembered reading about Fourth Generation Dragon Slayers. After transforming, they couldn't speak the human tongue, only their own, original tongue. Not even Dragon Slayers could understand the ancient language. He chuckled a bit at her, as the she-dragon's eyes widened, realizing absolutely no one could understand a single thing she was said.
Laxus quickly turned to his midget grandfather, who had returned from being a huge giant. "Oi, Old Man! What the hell did Mae say?" He yelled over, since the battle was incredibly loud, magic being tossed here and there. The Master grunted as he was nearly poked to death by a stick. The Dragon Hunter soldier was clearly a new recruit, so the Master had flicked him away as a giant.
"It's Dragon-Speak, Laxus! No one, not even Dragon Slayers can understand it! I've heard people called Dragon Priests understand a whole lot about it, but I don't think we have any as of right now! Otherwise, only other Dragons understand her!" The Master returned to his giant size, kicking some of the new recruits out of his way. Laxus sweat dropped.
"Fire-Make…" Ignus began, facing a small troop of soldiers, slamming his left fist into his right palm.
"Ice-Make…" A now shirtless forever Gray did the complete opposite of him, standing back to back to the Fire-Make mage.
"SNAKE!"
"LANCE!" Both attacks went off at the same time, hurdling towards the two troops. They all got hit and fell over as if they were bowling balls. Ignus smirked confidently, and then gaped as Natsu flew above the remaining flames he had left, and sucked them all up. Gray looked like he wanted to throw a few insults at the pink-haired Dragon Slayer, until some idiot decided to come up to Gray and punch the mage in the face. Poor guy got almost frozen to death.
Lucy and Nadia were fighting side by side, with both the Sins and the Celestial Spirit. Little did they know, the Sins didn't seem to like the Spirits, and vice versa. They simply acted as if they could cooperate, but when their Key Holders couldn't see them or got distracted by Ignus and Natsu, they immediately began to bicker their hearts out.
Gajeel and Levy were the first team to begin to fight, so Solid Script and Metal Dragon Slayer? Easy K.O. Well, for Gajeel at least. It took a few hits to knock out someone, but if Levy had a problem, Gajeel would kick some guy's ass. Droy and Jet didn't dare to even walk up to Levy this time.
Bisca and Alzack, fighting side by side naturally, owned many Dragon Hunters that stood in their way. Little Asuka Re-Equipped her first gun ever at this time, meaning both parents had to watch over the child to make sure she wouldn't fire it at anyone in the Guild, or any extras that were on their side.
Sting and Rogue, fighting their butts off to protect the elderly Tulip, but both boys ended up unconscious. Some of the tougher fighters had been sent against them. Tulip barely moved a muscle or two to attack, using more Psychic abilities than punching someone in the face like a few idiots.
Everyone fought hard, whether they were in Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, or no guild. They all fought for Maemi, or Maelyth now, whom had traveled on foot to get there, getting over her deceased exceed, and the fact her guild mates might've been killed. And now, she probably risked her skin, life, and maybe her soul to turn into a dragon, and destroy Rox-The-Ass! Natsu gave him that special nickname.
Maelyth froze. She couldn't speak human! Or English! She was horrified. How could she communicate with her Guildmates, her comrades, her family, and friends? Questions fired around in her Dragon-sized brain. Only she could understand what her new strange tongue had said. "Rox, you fucking bastard. You are going down to Hell!" She had originally said. But curse her new language.
"Either way, if he can't understand me, I should have an easier time defeating him, right?" She had questioned herself, and ran straight for Rox. A silver ball of light was inside her mouth when she opened it wide, near the back of her throat. Colors and energy combined together, a spectrum of energy and color surrounded it. As she fired it, a large, circular beam of silver light was aimed at Rox's earth-titan body, with the other colors going out of aim and hitting multiple parts of the titan. Several cracks were created because of the impact. She smirked a Dragon smirk. "Guardian Dragon's Roar… It has so much more power now. This must be what it feels like for dragons… No wonder they had originally ruled the world…" The large titan stood back up, as it had stumbled back from the hit.
"Good try, Maelyth!" Although he had turned the Titan Speak off, Maelyth could hear everything he had said while it was off as well, hence the reason she wanted to destroy him even more! She had to use it again, or there was another way to get rid of this insane idiot. A silver aura began to once again enclose around the she-dragon, a small earthquake rumbling as she put a small step forwards. Every consecutive step, some earthquakes got heavier, some larger, some weaker. Her pupils disappeared, much like when her left eye had turned yellow and glowed brightly, she this time had both eyes the same color: Light blue. They, as well, glowed, but brighter than they had ever glowed before.
"Guardian Dragon's Judgement!" She roared out viciously. She wondered on how powerful this would be now, since as a young 10 year old, she was able to kill her foster father with it. She initiated the attack, all while a vast memory of her and her sisters, before they passed away, was shown to the dragon in her mind.
Flashback
"Mae!" A young girl whined out, her short, dirty blonde hair a slight mess. Maemi turned to her youngest sister, who had small tears in her dark blue eyes. She crouched down a bit to get level with the young sister, and smiled at her gently.
"What happened Touko?" Maemi asked her softly. Touko looked at Maemi, still teary-eyed.
"Minami messed my hair up! I was going to have Jakey over!" Touko cried out, a little tear falling down her face. Maemi wanted to chuckle, but she knew it wasn't the right time. Minami always did this to Touko, as Touko always did the same to Minami.
"Nami?" Maemi called out her other sister's nickname. She knew the younger sister hated it, but she responded positively to it. Minami's constantly messy, bed-head hair was the first to be seen by the eldest sister. Her green-blue eyes were the next feature Maemi saw.
"Yeah, Mae?" The squeaky voice inquired.
"Did you mess up Tou-Tou's hair?" Tou-Tou was her special nickname to Touko. She, as well, hated it. Except she responded more negatively to it. Minami puffed up her left cheek, proving her guilt. She knew her little sisters almost too well. Touko would bite her lip secretly if she was hiding something guilty, and Minami would puff her left cheek up. Maemi honestly would sometimes hold her breath. "Well, Nami?" Maemi tilted her small, young child head.
"Uhm…" Minami hesitated. "No! Daddy did it!" She found someone to blame quickly and hastily.
"Daddy's at work, Nami!" Touko was behind Maemi, listening into the conversation. The little girl continued to bicker, as if it was something she was completely used to all the time. "Why can't you think like a normal person for once?! It's so obvious Daddy's at work! Mommy's outside, working on the garden and our trampoline! You were the only one who was in the room when I was doing my hair, Nami!" Touko argued.
"What?! Mae was in the room too! Right Mae?" Minami turned to her sister for agreement, hope filling her small eyes. Maemi loved them too much, but didn't want to cause a fight between the sisters.
"Uh… Yes, I was indeed in the room as well, but only for a brief moment." Maemi had a large, vast collection of vocabulary, since they couldn't afford school. Plus, the parents knew of Maemi's magic, and their worries were shared: They didn't want her to destroy the school and get them sued. "Then I came in here to make lunch! Oh, Touko?" Maemi beckoned her youngest sister to her side as she turned around. "Jakey will probably be here in another hour, so you have some time to re-do your hair! I'm sure it looked adorable-!"
"It's. Not. Adorable!" She hated the word, Touko did. Adorable. The one word that always sets the girl off to the moon. "It's cool!" She stated confidently, before marching back to her room to most likely re-do her hair.
Maemi covered their ears the best she could that night. The parents were fighting again, rather loudly as well. They had run into her room, afraid at 9:00 P.M. Obviously, their big sister was trying to get some wondrous rest. But their sobs and wails for her to wake up had worked. She had gotten out of bed, and let them sit and fall asleep on it. It was one way to comfort them both. Simply having Maemi nearby gave them hope, happiness, and they felt loved and cared for because of her.
The whole time, Maemi had stayed awake and listened to her parents' arguments. She leaned her head against the door tiredly, drifting off accidently a few times. Their loud shouting alarmed her sometimes, and knew where the nearest weapon, or the next best thing, in her room was. She jumped up and grabbed the metallic bat that leaned against her bed frame, and approached the door silently. All she heard was her parents bickering. She heard her father first, then her mother in the order.
"Listen, you need to get help! Some spinal liquids seeped into your brain! It's urgent, Liz! Please listen to me-!" Her father pleaded.
"NO! The only one who needs help is you! One day, Maemi just happens to be looking around your damn room and guess what she brings me: A porno book!"
"I swear, I told you already! One of my collegues must have done that! I told you that over 80 times!"
"What? No, dammit. You're exaggerating! This is the first time you've told me that!"
"Dammit Liz! Listen to yourself! I would repeat what you said in the car in front of your children and of your own mother, but who knows if the children are listening! They're afraid!"
"Of you! They can't trust you, since you're a coward! You couldn't stop that robber-!"
"That was when we had a gun confiscated!"
"Whatever! Maemi was nearly stolen and RAPED! You just stood there!"
"What?! No, I was punching and beating that asshole up! You just stood there, like the drunk bitch you are all the time, and just laughed at your crying daughter! You called her a crybaby when she was 2! You purposely made her fall onto her face when she first learned how to walk! You made her jump off the swing when she was high up! We were lucky she didn't break a single bone! What I'm saying is: You. Are. A. Bully!" Maemi whimpered. She hated when they brought her up in any conservation, unless it was civilized. She was okay with that, but during their fights? Never.
End of Flashback
Maelyth unleashed the attack, a second, more spiritual dragon appearing in her place, a silver-ish tint to him. Supposedly, it was the original Guardian Dragon. The one who had given her magic. She never believed that obviously. Tears threatened to escape her new dragon eyes as her past flew around her. She had to ignore them for a moment, so she could fight back. The spirit dragon bit down onto the titan's head, biting the huge clump off. Rox was in the heart of the titan, and quickly re-fixed the titan, letting it attack once more.
"There goes plan A…" She grumbled to herself lowly. "Well, time for Plan B… Hopefully, it will end this damn fight…"
AND END! Jk, it's not over yet! We're getting there though! Just so you know, only a few, small things were things actually based off of something in real life, like the sisters, how they go to my room if they're scared, and a few words in the fight. Except, I was older and understood a lot more!
Anyways guys, thanks for reading The Silver Dragon! I will, like I have probably said before, will post the new story as soon as possible when the last chapter is finished! The new sequel will be up and running by then!
FUN FACT: This is all in one document. If I remove the intros and outros per chapter, it would be in the 92-93 pages in Microsoft Works Word Processor. So yes, the first, and original chapter is at the tippy top of this word document. C:
Love you all!
