Matt (Guest): Yeah that is fair. Considering that this is only the first game.

Gamelover41592: Thanks!

Tech-Star: Believe me, I love expanding on the Skylanders' characters! It makes everything a lot more interesting and also makes them more balanced characters.

Alright, time to take down Kaos…for the first time out of six. Yeah this is gonna be a long story. Anyways, let's begin!

Everyone watched the Core in awe. In truth, it wasn't really doing much other than shooting a beam of light, but considering that one beam of light was enough to send Kaos running with his tail between his legs, it was certainly a marvel to watch.

"We did it!" Flynn cheered, saying what everyone was thinking. "The Core of Light finally assembled! Now a grateful Skylanders thanks me again. And you are welcome. BOOM!" Everyone rolled their eyes.

"Ugh, get over yourself," Cali said, saying what pretty much everyone was thinking. "Things don't feel like they're, y'know, done yet."

"Oh yeah, I see where you're going," Flynn said before going in the direction that no one but him was thinking. "That's because we still haven't had our date yet." This only led to more eye rolls, not that Flynn noticed. "DOUBLE BOOM!"

"We still need to beat up Kaos!" Sky reminded everyone.

"Sky is right," Hugo agreed with the younger girl. "The Core of Light has saved Skylands from The Darkness, but not from the wrath of Kaos. No doubt he will try to make another bomb to destroy the Great Machine again. It's not over."

"TEN HUT!" General Robot called out as he rolled himself over. "Sounds like we've got a job to do! We're going to take the fight to the enemy right where he lives - his home base. Before he can launch a counterattack! The Core of Light has revealed his location in the Outlands. I have the intel report right here." He then handed Hugo a slip of paper. Everyone crowded around him to see the location.

"That's pretty deep in the Outlands," Ghost Roaster noted. "I guess that makes sense for him."

"A good spot for a rat to hide," Stealth Elf agreed.

"That's it!" Hugo suddenly exclaimed as he jumped for joy, startling quite a few Skylanders. "General Robot, I could positively kiss you!"

"Um, at ease, soldier," An uncomfortable General Robot said.

"This is still our best chance to finally bring this all to an end," Eon said as he turned to the Skylanders. "Skylanders, this will require all of you to attack Kaos together! Are you all ready?"

"YEAH!" Came the resounding cries. Sky remained silent. She already had a feeling she and Eon weren't coming.

"Yeah, but how do you plan on getting them all there?" Cali had to ask. This knocked the wind out of quite a few Skylanders.

"I believe the Core of Light has a method," Eon said with a smirk.

"The Core of Light saves the day!" Sky cheered. Hugo walked over a panel and smirked.

"Everyone group together," He ordered. The Skylanders all quickly grouped together. Hugo then tapped a few buttons on the Core's panel. "Splendid! Now I'll just use the Core to send you there and - hmm…let's see…I simply punch in a few coordinates here and…" Finally, a large bubble appeared and began to carry the Skylanders off. The Skylanders appeared a little shocked, but soon got their barings. All of Skylands was counting on them. "Well, I guess the Core works pretty fast."

"Are they gonna be okay?" Sky nervously asked.

"I'm sure they will be able to handle it," Eon assured his daughter as he gave a pat on the head. Sky managed a smile.

"I sure wish we could go with the Skylanders," Cali admitted. "Then we could all go take down Kaos together."

"I agree, Cali," Hugo chimed in. "But somehow, I feel like this is something our heroes must do alone." Everyone turned back towards the sky, where the bubble was slowly disappearing.

"Good luck guys," Sky said for everyone, who knew that whatever happened, the Skylanders were on their own.

"Go forth and find the entrance to Kaos' castle. It is there you will meet your density. Good luck Skylanders," Eon telepathically said to every single Skylander. They had managed to claw their way through all of Kaos' defenses, fighting their way through all the monsters he had waiting for them. Finally, when they reached the end, Kaos' castle flew towards them. A platform was waiting for them.

"Well…this is it," Ignitor said, keeping his voice neutral.

"Time to take the fight right to him!" Zap exclaimed.

"Be wary," Chop Chop warned. "We do not know what exactly Kaos has prepared for us."

"Well, we're gonna SMASH him!" Stump Smash declared. "No matter what he throws at us!"

"You bet! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Trigger Happy chimed in as he twirled his guns.

"Well, no sense in keeping him waiting," Gill Grunt said as he stepped onto the platform. Everyone followed his lead. The platform moved towards the castle, which, much to everyone's shock, flipped over.

"Uh, Voodood thought we were fighting in the castle," The Magic Skylander piped up.

"Looks like Kaos had something set up for us," Camo noticed that the bottom of the castle almost appeared to be an arena. Once the platform had docked, everyone stepped off, causing the platform to back away. No more turning back. Kaos sat in a strange hoverchair/throne thing, clearly annoyed to see the Skylanders in his home.

"FOOLS! You've played RIGHT INTO my hands! Hahahahaha!" The midget villain cackled. "SO WHAT if you managed to survive and take all the Eternal Sources! BIG DEAL - if you managed to restore the so-called "Core Of Light"! It's all for nothing!"

"What are you talking about?" Stealth Elf asked. Wasn't keeping them from rebuilding the Core the only real goal Kaos had.

"Because NOW you have followed me into MY realm! And here, I am ALL powerful! And YOU - are NOTHING!" Kaos declared before finally taking flight with his chair. The battle was on!

"Let's take him down!" Eruptor called out.

"You said it, mon!" Zook agreed as he took aim at the villain, who responded by attempting to slam the chair into him. That was easily dodged. What caught everyone off guard was the return of the Gill Grunt clone.

"It's back!" Bash called out as he attempted another swing at Kaos.

"Divide your focus!" Whirlwind called back. "Half of us need to focus on Kaos, half on the clones!"

"Sounds good to me!" Warnado agreed as he slammed into the clone. They didn't get the chance to defeat him, however, as when Kaos rose into the air, the clone vanished with him and when he slammed back down, a completely different one appeared.

"He's usin' them to soak up our hits!" Terrafin realized as he punched the current clone-Stump Smash-away from him.

"Well if we don't attack them, we're sitting ducks!" Lightning Rod reminded his comrade. Kaos then rose into the air.

"I have to laugh," The villain taunted before proceeding to do so. "I HAVE TO! Because even though you somehow managed to not get squashed - you now face the hideous and powerful of all my weapons!" The Skylanders all attempted to brace themselves as the platform suddenly rose into the air. "Meet the weapon that I used to destroy the Core of Light - and I will do so again! Meet the power that scatters the most powerful weapon of your side to the winds! MEET- my BOMB factory!" Everyone watched as a large machine that seemed to be developing bombs at that very second appeared in the skies about Kaos.

"Great, now we gotta take care of that!" Dino-Rang exclaimed.

"All the more reason to beat Kaos now!" Hex declared as magic flared in her hand. This time, when Kaos slammed the chair down, a bomb dropped down. All the bombs appeared to be based on the elemental attacks Kaos had used against them in the fight for the sources.

"Watch out!" Slam Bam warned as he held Wrecking Ball back from getting hit.

"Thanks, buddy!" Wrecking Ball cheered. Once it was safe, Wrecking Ball charged straight into Kaos, who promptly took off.

"Hmmm…interesting…It seems you are more skillful than Eon after all," Kaos was forced to admit. "Maybe the little girl will be in more trouble in the future…perhaps there is something special inside you all…And I think I'll just have my BRAWLERS bash it out of you so I can get a better look at it! HA!"

"Get ready!" Drobot warned. This time, when Kaos slammed down, the Stump Smash, Slam Bam and Eruptor clones appeared.

"This is just offensive!" Stump Smash grumbled as he attacked his clone. Working together, the Skylanders were able to easily take them down, even with the bombs still dropping.

"Fools! I've had it up to here with your incompetence! Actually, no even higher - up to HERE!" Kaos barked at his minions, who appeared ashamed. "BESIDES, I have three more minions who are much more deserving of this privilege!" He then summoned the Zap, Stealth Elf and Ghost Roaster clones, who destroyed the first three clones to power themselves up.

"Did…did they just cannibalize those first three clones?" Double Trouble had to ask.

"It seems like it…" Boomer nervously noted.

"Well, no sense in just talking about it!" Prism Break pointed out as he took aim at the Zap clone. Once again, all the clones were quickly taken down, leaving them sitting in front of Kaos, once again ashamed.

"MINIONS! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU?! All you have to do is defeat a couple annoying do-gooders!" Kaos snapped at his minions. "BAH! Nevermind. I have three more minions-that should do the trick!" This time, the Chop Chop, Zook and Sunburn clones appeared and, once again, cannibalized the failed clones in an attempt to become stronger.

"This is truly wrong…" Flameslinger declared as he clutched his bow. Evil clones they may be, but to see a creature that resembled your friend or your comrade suddenly attack another friend of yours just to get more power for themselves was…uneasy to look at, to say the least. Still, the Skylanders pressed on, once again defeating the clones. Kaos was only growing more and more annoyed.

"How is it possible that all the lame evil minions work for me!? HOW!?" He demanded to know, not that anyone dared to answer. Now was the time to focus. "WHATEVER! Even if my next three minions are lame incompetents, at least they're far-shooting lame incompetents. HA! And they will spell your DEFEAT!" Much like last time, the process repeated with the clones of Hex, Flameslinger and Gill Grunt.

"Come now! We don't have all day!" Flip Wreck reminded everyone. While the last three clones were now at their strongest, the Skylanders working together were able to take them down, while still managing to strike Kaos several times.

"I don't understand it! Don't you know who I AM? Haven't you HEARD it's a bad idea to mess with Kaos!" Before anything could be done, Kaos then made up his mind. He could win this battle by himself. "All I need is my bomb machine to defeat you fools! THAT - and my super-strong, ultra-destructive, ALL POWERFUL mechanical suit, that is! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He then absorbed the remaining clones into himself, giving himself more power.

"WE. WILL. PREVALE," Drill Sergeant declared for everyone. With a battle cry, the Skylanders refused to let up. Everyone put all their effort into ensuring that Kaos fell. Not that the dark Portal Master wasn't also putting his all into his attacks. While he wasn't doing much himself, the bombs certainly kept the Skylanders on their toes, not helped by the fact the attacks slowly began to mix together.

"Take…THIS!" Sonic Boom called out as she and her offspring all attacked Kaos at once. Clearly, this was all his chair could take, as it finally collapsed onto the battlefield. At the same time, debris from the fight had finally caused the bomb machine to break down and fall into the abyss.

"You think this is over?" Kaos mockingly asked, seemingly not noticing the sparks coming off his chair. "HA! You think wrong! In fact, I think that you think that I think I cannot win! I assure you I can! There WILL come another day! Oh, not now maybe, but soon! And we will meet again! And on that day, I, KAOS, will introduce you to your sweet, SWEET OBLIVION!" He then began to laugh, only for said laughter to become more and more nervous the more that his chair began to spark and shake. The Skylanders all moved back as the chair blew up, sending Kaos into the air and then back onto the floor.

"Is he…?" Spyro began to ask as Kaos stumbled to his feet.

"Fear my giant…floating head!" Kaos deliriously managed out before collapsing, finally knocked out. Needless to say, the Skylanders wasted no time in beginning to celebrate.

The battle was finally over. Now it was time to bring Kaos to face the music.

"FOOLS! Release me at once or face your unimaginable doom! Do you really think this cheap magic trick can hold me? KAOS!" Kaos asked only to get instantly zapped by the shield surrounding him. This, along with the fact the Skylanders had let Sky draw all over his face when he was knocked out, made it very hard for anyone to take him seriously. "OW! HEY!"

"Cool your jets, small fry," Flynn snapped at the villain. "We've heard enough out of you!"

"Finally, something we agree on," Cali spoke up, causing Flynn to smile. "You know, you're okay when you're not putting your foot in your mouth."

"Back at ya," Flynn said, clearly attempting to flirt. Whether it was because she was too happy things were finally over or because she actually found him charming, Cali didn't bother to reply with anything nasty this time.

"Okay, seriously, I'm gonna barf now," Kaos groaned before turning to his old arch enemy, who stood with his very giggly daughter. "Eon! And your new "apprentice portal master". Go ahead! Send me back to Outlands! I'll just keep coming back again! And again! And…again! Until Skylands is mine!" Out of the corner of his eyes, Kaos noticed some of the Skylanders appeared to be chuckling or shaking their heads, but didn't pay it any mind. At least until Eon spoke up.

"Actually, Kaos, you're not going to the Outlands, this time," The Older Portal master revealed.

"Uh, what?" Kaos asked. He was not expecting that answer and from the looks of it, neither were Flynn and Cali.

"I have something more fitting in mind for you," Eon said before turning to his scribe. "Hugo, would you please?"

"I wanted to do it…" Sky grumbled as she crossed her arms. Stupid tiny body!

"Me?" Hugo asked as he pointed to himself. Eon merely nodded. "Oh, thank you Master Eon!" He then walked over to the Core of Light's control panel. "You're gonna love this. We made a few upgrades!" Hugo then began to tap a few buttons, causing a blue band of energy to appear around Kaos' prison.

"Okay, look, let me go and we'll split this place," Kaos began after realizing he was most likely not going to love whatever was about to happen. "Seventy-thirty, whatta ya say?" Hugo merely began to hit more buttons. "Okay! How about sixty-forty!?" More buttons. "Fifty-fifty!?" One more button was hit. "Okay…uh oh." Said villain was then sent flying. "You haven't seen the last of me! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Everyone began to celebrate once again.

"Wowzers, now that's fast!" Flynn exclaimed.

"So where's he headed, Master Eon?" Hugo had to ask.

"To the furthest reaches of Skylands," Eon explained. "One so far away, that it remains undiscovered from everyone."

"Alone forever?" Cali clarified. "With how much of an ego he has, I can't think of a worse punishment!"

And with that, the first game is complete! I'm not planning to jump straight into Giants yet, but I think you'll like what I have planned. As for what it is…notice how there was one OG Skylander who never appeared during this arc?
