I AM SO SORRY. I guess you guys are sadly used to these chapters being late by now, but I fully intended on posting this yesterday but didn't get the chance to.

Danny hoped beyond all hope that Jazz was already safe by the time he made it to Walker's Jailhouse hours after he'd gotten his note to Dani. As soon as the Jailhouse was in sight, he morphed back to human form but was able to keep himself flying and invisible for the time being. Once he was inside the somewhat familiar building, he kept as silent as he could while walking up every hall and looking into every room. Walker's Construct Guards were everywhere, but that was to be expected. He hurried around, staying invisible and as quiet as possible, going through the first floor entirely before heading up to the second.

Just as he was starting to think they must've succeeded before he got there, he heard someone yelling a few rooms away. Even quieter than before and swallowing against the knot in his throat, he walked over to the room and invisibly stepped inside it from the wall, eyeing the guards at the door next to him. He almost cursed at the sight of the room. Sam and Tucker were standing close together in a clearly human cage with an unconscious Dani on the floor by them, taking up most of the little room the cage had. It wasn't helped by the unbalanced nature of it since Walker had it floating closer to the ceiling than the floor. Sam was the one yelling, vocalizing her anger at Walker who was watching them. Beside him was Jazz, standing impossibly still and staring intently at the scene. Danny knew immediately that she was overshadowed, especially at noticing the nightstick in her hand. As if holding her hostage normally weren't enough to piss Danny off.

He held his temper, though, knowing he had to be smart about this. Especially if he wanted to avoid the others knowing he was there. Even with all of this mess, he didn't want to screw up whatever chance he had at making his parents understand because then it wouldn't stop being like this.

"-And if you don't mind though I couldn't care less if you do, screw you for being the world's worst prison keeper," Sam finished up, clearly still heated but stopping for whatever reason she had. Walker was surprisingly quiet about it, though, not responding and just seeming to be waiting for something. Danny could guess why. Everything was going how Walker wanted it to go… except that Danny "wasn't there yet". It wasn't any sort of secret what Danny's weaknesses were, but that didn't make Walker any less of a jerk for pulling this sort of thing. So now the problem. How was he supposed to get Walker away from them?

*Dani*

Dani could tell immediately when she started waking up that something was very wrong. Several things, actually. The first of which being she felt sick in a way she hadn't known for quite a while. The same awful feeling as if her organs were melting apart inside her, making it hard to breathe. The only explanation for why she was feeling like that again was simple. Because they were melting. She was melting again.

And then she started waking up more, sound coming to her ears too muffled to make out, the feeling cold metal below her wherever she was laid down at. She was aware enough to start pulling herself together, concentrating the best she could on turn the melting mush back to solidified organs and managing it after a couple minutes of work before she finally came to all the way, eyes snapping open and gasping for more breath than she'd been getting as she was panting and sweating.

"Dani?" someone asked. Sam, she realized, as she started to register more. And Tucker was next to her. And what was behind them? Bars? Were they in- … Crap. A whole load of crap is what they were in as well as a cage apparently. "Dani, can you hear me?"

Dani opened her mouth to speak but found it was dry, so she just nodded for the moment and started trying to sit up, remembering then what had just happened and looking down at herself quickly. Not a puddle of goo… But she still felt the sensation in the pit of her stomach. She only wasn't falling apart because she was holding herself together. She swallowed hard but didn't get to mention it before a shout caught the attention of all three of them.

She was then almost positive she was dreaming as the Box Ghost flew through the room from one wall and out the other, a whole long trail of Walker's guards following him. Walker himself was nowhere to be seen at the moment… But Jazz was standing in the middle of the room they were in, way too still especially when they other ghosts darted through. Overshadowed. Damn, she should've realized before that Jazz was overshadowed, but she hadn't thought enough about it. It was confirmed as well when the ghost inside Jazz spoke, unable to mimic the redhead's voice which meant it came out as his own.

"Try anything, and you'll get a shock even worse than the first one, Brat."

Sam ignored him, though, and looked at Dani again. "Are you alright? You… You were…"

"Melting?" Dani asked, quietly, horrified at that. She shouldn't be melting on the outside yet. She'd had months before melting completely last time. No way could she be… But the look on Sam's and Tucker's faces said it for sure. She couldn't use her powers, then. Not until she could stabilize herself again. Damn it all…

Even as there seemed to be chaos going on outside the room they were in, they all fell quiet. On top of feeling awful physically, now Dani felt even worse about getting Sam and Tucker trapped with her. She should've thought more. She shouldn't have just gone for it when it was obviously a set-up for them. Why else would a room in a prison not have a guard in it? She should've-

Her thoughts were cut short, though, as Jazz stiffened sharply and seemed to be shaking for a few moments before going even more still before she convulsed sharply and Walker's guard was thrown out of her. What the- Before that could even be answered, though, a different ghost flew up out of her and left her to drop to her hands and knees on her own… Was that a giant ghost badger?

Again, I am so sorry for not being able to post this yesterday. I don't have Chapter 17 finished yet, but I'm going to try my hardest.
