Only Ben looks back at Clementine, Lee and Carley to see what she'll choose. Kenny is already circling Carver like a hungry predator ready to take his prey, Carlos' eyes are coldly glued to the aging, bleeding man on the floor who reaped his daughter from him, Rebecca can't look away from Bill, excited to watch him die, and Molly wants her revenge. Carver's entirely focused on what Clementine chooses.

She turns away with Lee and Carley. "Oh come on, Clementine!" Carver yells, causing the three to turn back. "Don't be like that. Don't run away!.. You know you wanna see the show. Who do you think you're fooling, huh? I know you. I know who you are!"

"Let's go." Lee says, ignoring him. Clementine looks him in the eyes one last time, holding her arm with a chill of fear running down her spine as she does so. Carley holds onto her boyfriend as Clem turns back towards the pen, walking away.

"Yeah go on, let the sheep outta the pen. We'll see how long that lasts." Carver growls.

"Rebecca?" Carley questions, looking at the pregnant woman. She doesn't even look back.

"I'll be right there." Rebecca replies, still intently focused on the bastard who killed her husband.

"You won't see anything." Kenny whispers.

Carver chuckles, nearly coughing on his laugh. "That's funny, coming from you." He finally stops watching Clementine as she leaves around the corner, putting him out of her mind so she can begin to move on. "How's that eye? Just follow my voice, it'll get you there. You've got a thick fucking skull, Kenneth. Troy should have put you outta your misery right then. Now look at you; you're a mess." With every guttural growl of his voice, Kenny tightens his grip on the crowbar and inches closer to the man he deems responsible for Duck's murder. Crawling toward Rebecca, he pushes Sarah's body away and smirks. "The fuck are you looking at, bitch? Don't act like you didn't love every second of it-"

The air cuts as Kenny throws the crowbar into Bill's eye, blinding that eye instantly. On his back, Carver can't even block his face in time before another whack of the tool strikes his mouth. He yelps in pain, but the last breath that he takes is spent in fear of Kenny, his lips and teeth battered so he cannot speak, and his left eye bleeding profusely. The last strike he experiences before death hits his cranium, breaking skin off of his forehead. Kenny doesn't stop once his eyes glaze over and he's deemed dead, however. He hits him again, and again, and again. While most just stand there and watch the fireworks, Ben has to look away several times, only opening his eyes after every break Kenny gasps out. He sees Carver's lifeless face, one side completely covered in blood, with the meat under his skin exposed.

Ben winces and looks away when Kenny hits his non blind eye, striking the same spot over and over until the eye is crushed into a jelly filled pancake. He strikes every inch of his face until the skin is in chunks around his chin and ears, and every recognizable feature from his mustache to his calculated eyes to his sharp nose to his wrinkled forehead is nothing but red paste and scattered pieces of brain and skull around the remaining shell of his jaw, of which most of his teeth and tongue are pulverized, but his bottom teeth remain.

Kenny, covered in blood from his knees to his chest, gasps for air, dropping the crowbar to the ground before turning back to the others behind him. Ben can't help but speed walk to the pen, covering his mouth. The others nod at the one eyed man, in full solidarity with him. "Let's go."

The remaining survivors who watched Carver metaphorically swing come into the pen. Ben finishes throwing up his breakfast in the corner before joining the others. Lee is speechless, unable to look at Kenny, as is Sarita. The others all look melancholy as well.

"So, uh.. What now?"

"With that herd on us, we either gotta hide or fight back. What's your decision, Lee?"

"Like I said before, we hide it out. In the meantime, I'm gonna get on that PA and explain everything to the people of Howe's. All of you, aside from Shawn and Shel, head upstairs to the roof and hide out there. I'll meet you up there."

"Okay. Just, be careful." Carley says.

"I will."

"Let me come." Clem requests, pleading with her eyes at Lee. She holds her arm, shaking in her shoes. Lee looks toward Kenny and Carlos, both of whom look like ghosts and nods at her request.

The groups split up, with Carley and Molly leading the majority group to the roof, while Lee, Clem, Shel and Shawn head towards Carver's office. "Hey, Lee.. you should know that, uh.. I'm bitten." He takes his hand off his shoulder, showing off the deep bite wound.

Lee's eyes go wide. Shel and Clem look away awkwardly. "Oh, shit! How did-"

"Bonnie, she was… Well, she turned and I didn't see it coming." Shawn answers, putting his hand back.

"I'm sorry. For everything. If we hadn't shown up-"

"No. Don't apologize. If you hadn't shown up, Bill-.. Carver would still be in charge. More people would have been callously killed for petty reasons. More punishments would have been dealt out, and he'd get more and more powerful every passing day. I have no regrets, even with this and everyone who passed. I just hope their sacrifices aren't in vain."

"I promise, they won't be."

"There's not a lot of time before the herd starts pounding on our door. We should hurry." Shel beckons. The others listen, speeding up until they arrive at the office. They pass by the three corpses in the room, both disturbed and sad from Christa's passing specifically, finding the PA at the window. Lee hesitates pressing anything, confused on how to work it. Shel leans over him. "Here, we'll set it in-house only." She clicks a button, the microphone feedback ringing in their ears.

Several civilians hiding in their rooms, tied up guards/elites and those on the roof all hear it, and undoubtedly the walkers do as well. Lee turns to his group. "What are you going to say?" Clementine asks.

"Whatever it is, better make it quick. Those lurkers are practically salivating at the sound of the radio." Shawn says, leaning against Carver's desk whilst holding his burning head. Shel looks at her long-time friend with a pout, knowing what that means. Lee turns back around to the microphone and clears his throat.
