- Hey look, I updated twice in a month..

...

- "You can't take a picture of this, it's already gone."

...

I can feel her.. Zero stared at the door. She was here?

He shook his head, he was imagining things, she was far away.. With him...

He slammed his fist against the door in front of him. His mind was toying with him now, he was losing control, this had to be part of it. He felt like he was losing his grip on reality.

Sliding his back against the door, he slide down to sit on the floor. I don't understand...

Clutching at his own neck, he closed his eyes.

Yuki..

.

She stared at the door for what felt like forever, It's just a door right?

But it was HIS door.

Or was it even? She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. Lifting her fists in front of herself, she sighed, Yes, I can do this. I want to see him...

She paused, even if he hates me..

She continued to stare at the door... Even if he wants to kill me... This is why I came back right?

It felt so far away... So far out of reach of her... Was he so out of reach now? Had he gone so far... No..
He was still Zero.. Always Zero...

Swallowing hard, she took a step forward, gently knocking, feeling the solid wood door scraping against her knuckles, What if he's not here? What is he slams the door in my face... What if he tries to kill me again...

Her mind was racing, but it was too late. The door swung open. Yuki gasped.

In the doorway in front of her stood a tall figure, "Do you have any idea what time it is?!" The young man shouted at her overly annoyed.

Yuki sucked in her breath, the boy standing before her was not him,

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I was looking for someone who used to live in this room," She paused, Do I ask him?

The stranger lazily ran his hand through his messy brown hair, his eyes finally focusing on the young lady standing in his doorway, and like someone flicked on a switch, his scowl turned into a charming smile.

Waving his arms in front of him, he started laughing nervously.

"No no, don't even worry about it." He smirked at her, "Perhaps I can help you instead,"

His smile became more mischievous, "I mean I can only imagine why you'd be coming to my room this late at night, but I assure you I'm more than happy to oblige you" He jestered for her to enter his room.

Yuki stood dumbfounded in the hallway, Was this guy for real?

She rolled her eyes before laughing softly at this foolish boy standing in front of her. He looks death right in the face and then invites it into his room, with quite possibly the lamest pick up line she has ever heard.

Turning away, she waved back at him smiling, "Sorry but I really am just looking for my friend." She sprinted down the hallway back to the room her father had set up for her.

I feel so stupid... Of course he isn't in the same room anymore..

.

Yuki wandered the dimly lit halls, it was very late now, or early? She shook her head, time barely meant anything anymore, most of the time she could barely decipher time at all. It was fleeting.

The halls felt so empty. So alone. The sound of her foot steps echoed all around her, everyone was asleep. She missed sleep, dreaming. It had been so long since she had dreamt, as sleep wasn't a necessity anymore, and she took no enjoyment in it as it had become just a way to pass time.

Turning a corner, she paused, her head darting back behind her. That smell..

Blood... Zero's blood..

.

Zero glanced over to his night stand again, How many times will I do this..

How long will I allow myself to suffer over this.. How long until I can no longer control myself enough to end this myself...

Reaching over, he gently grasped hold of the gun once more. This was beginning to feel like a nightly ritual for him.

This needs to end now... Before someone else gets hurt... Before she sees what I have become...

He held the Bloody Rose rose to his temple. I can't... She can't..

Closing his eyes, he softly squeezed the trigger against his finger.

.

A gentle rap came against the door, it echoed throughout the room.

Slowly opening his eyes, he glanced in the direction of the noise. Pausing a moment, he carefully lowered the firearm to his side.

Maybe they will go away...

He listened for the footsteps of the visitor leaving, but they never came, instead another sound was heard, another light tapping against his door.

Sighing, he placed the gun on the night stand beside him. Who would be coming to see him at this hour? It was probably the headmaster checking up on him..

Rubbing his temples between his fingers, he stood up slowly grasping the door knob. Just go away...

Opening the door, he slowly glanced up only to be met by a pair of amber eyes.

"Zero.."

.
