Elemental and bloodlines in general work like slythefoxx2 portrays it in "A Snakes' Obsession" and I think one of their other works, but that's the one I remember it explained best. Basically, affinity is all that's needed to use the Sub-elements, such as Val being a Lightning Primary and Earth Secndary, so she can use Explosion release, as seen in Strong World. Same applies to other techniques, haki is all you need as always in One Piece

Konoha - Shortly after the MirrorGate Conference
"So in summary I need to get New World ready in 2 years and request assistance from the Jonin to get me back to my level and then charge through it to reach my peak. Afterward, I will also remain as a reservist and capable of accepting missions in emergencies or assist if I cross paths with Konoha forces" Valentina finishes explaining and outlining her request, on her knees and head almost touching the ground as she awaits Minato's response, or a comment from his advisors
"I hear a lot of things that benefit you, but very little about how this is a boon for the village" Madara enquires, as she expected
"There's the simple fact of having another skilled combatant at its most basic, but there's also a level of networking that comes through my position within the Straw Hats. Thanks to my family, Konoha has the chance to allign or at least build a working relationship with the Sternritters, Demon Eye, and even the Whitebeard pirates, 2 of which would be a MASSIVE boon for any work done in the New World" Valentina explains, having realized the connection her partner had when she finally met 'GG' and thanks to the Konoha archives identified her as Sternritter Z, mostly due to the uniform.
That got the older man's attention, as well as both Minato and Hiruzin, though his reaction was more an evil cackle "Oh this is interesting. You know if you want to get as strong as you claim you're going to need to be basically pounded into the dirt for at least the next 6 months before things get easier. Might want to talk to your brother and the Akatsuki if you're looking for strong people to train with and against"
Valentina nods as she stands up "I'm aware, it's why I planned to speak to Ni-san and possibly even Nagato if he was available to discuss training options"
Minato smiles before nodding to the other men in the room "I approve, as long as training you doesn't interfere with their work or training their genin, then you're good. The Akatsuki is a separate issue, so discuss it with Nagato for the logistics on that front"
"No problem Sensei, I won't let you down" Valentina winks before heading out
"Well, the next 2 years aren't going to be boring, that's for sure" Hiruzin chuckles relighting his pipe
"Yeah, but I do worry she'll push herself too far in all this" Minato sighs
"That's the parent talking, I used to think the same before Orochi went off with that weirdo with the big head, and he came back just fine, more or less"
Training Ground 18
Team 3, also already referred to as 'Team Gai' after their sensei were getting ready for their morning training, only to find an unknown woman in their training grounds, a lot of hopping around and shanking of training dummies, before leaping into the sky higher than should be possible and dropping down to smash the dummy to splinters. It was as she sighs deeply and brushes herself off that the only girl in the trio approaches
"Um excuse me, you're in our training ground, this is where we're supposed to meet our sensei" Tenten states, getting the woman's attention who merely grins
"Relax hairbuns, I know what I'm doing, I need to discuss something with Gai anyway so it's no big deal" she shrugs and then sees the 2 boys behind her "GAI!"
"LE… wait I'm supposed to shout Gai" Lee mutters in confusion as this blond woman seems to have mistaken him for their sensei
"Oh Gai, how did you manage to run into Jewelry Bonney of all people? You charged headfirst again didn't you?" Valentina sighs, ruffling Lee's bowl-cut, and gives an affectionate smile that heats the boy's cheeks "And as for you, how the Hell did those all-seeing eyes miss a girl with bright pink hair? Seriously Hiashi I thought you were better than that" she sighs with an eye-roll, while both Lee and Tenten backstep as they know the clan head was their teammate's berzerk button, as seen when the veins around his eyes bulge before he lunges at her "There you are, I was worried you forgot about me, you self righteous prick" Valentina laughs, dodging and weaving around the Gentle Fist strikes "This is why I preferred hanging out with Hizashi, he was fun and could take a joke, not act like he had a 10-foot rod shoved up his ass. I bet he made such cute kids, like that Hinata girl Naruto and Kurama were telling me about, naive dummies don't even realize they have such a huge crush on the self-described sweetie" she giggles
"DO NOT MENTION MY UNCLE OR THAT FAILURE IN MY PRESCIENCE!" Neji yells, aiming for a heart strike only for Valentina to leap over him with surprising grace
"So she's primary Water then? The only reason I can think that she'd already be judged a failure, is not being able to do your special martial arts as she's not got the Earth Affinity" Valentina hums, before kicking his legs out
"Valentina, stop beating up my students, it's most unyouthful!" Maito Gai yells, finally arriving
"Did you say something?" Val asks holding Neji in a headlock
"Curse you Kakashi, infecting others with your hip, cool attitude" Gai facepalms "Valentina, I know you came here for training, and because of that was told about your other powers. Have you ever tried applying the additional weights to just a single part of the body?" he asks
Val clicks her tongue "Not since the first few months after eating the fruit, it always threw my balance off rather severely" she admits
"Then you were most likely using too much and holding it for too long. How fast can you change your weight?"
"Few seconds, why?"
"Simple, you came to me for help with melee, so I'm going to help you use your weight shifting to amp up your punches and maybe even your kicks" Gai explains, Val nodding as it makes sense, though getting the timing right will be a pain
"Sounds like a plan, anything you want me to do to start this off?"
"I'll get you some weights later, for now just try to fight me while adjusting your weight before the punch, see if we can iron out a style that will work with this plan," he says giving her a Sunshine smile and a thumbs up
"Ok, here we go" Val nods and starts throwing a few punches which Gai blocks, before with a bounce of her heels punches down, missing and unbalancing herself, but leaving a small crater where the bowl-cut man had been standing "That was a bad idea. Goda! Ok, 1,000-kilo fist was not the best place to start" Val mutters with a wince, the 3 student's eyes widen as they consider what that would have done to them if the attack connected, while Gai was glad he'd applied his highest level of Armament to his torso on the off chance she'd managed to actually hit him the first time
A few months later
"Explosive Release: Centipede searcher" Val shouts as a white clay centipede lunges for the men in front of her, exploding once it comes within half a foot of them after ignoring the kunai thrown to attempt to pin or otherwise incapacitate it, using her Devil fruit to leap into the air and survey the area while the smoke cleared. Seeing both of her targets had lost her she grins before just as she was above one, letting go of the umbrella with a low whisper of "500-kilo lockdown" causing the man to crumple like an accordion, the blond pinning him to the ground from her spot on his back
"I'm really regretting accepting this job, no matter how good the pay is" Kotetsu groans from under her
"Test a genin they said, we want to promote her but she has no team. They could have said it was you, Valentina, then we'd have known to not take the job" Izumo agrees, panting heavily
"I don't see the issue, I'm legally a genin, and my skills have greatly diminished so despite my age I am exactly what the job claimed I was" Val hums, looking confused
"Bullshit, everyone our age knows about you, we also know you were High Chunin level, and a shu in for Jonin rank before you left. Kotetsu and I, we're mid on a good day, barely count on a bad, you're way out of our league"
"If I'd kept my skills up after I left Konoha I'd agree with you completely, but I didn't. That's honestly precisely why this test was set up, to see if I'm actually anywhere near my old skill level again, whether or not I'm worthy to wear the jacket again" Val admits with a sigh, resetting her weight before getting off Kotetsu's back and helping him up "Do them surrendering count against me for this exam?" she asks the proctors who appear in a flicker
"No, and to be honest I can't fault them too much, they can at least recognize a situation they would be hard-pressed to deal with rather than run in anyway and get taken down in embarrassing and painful ways" Minato answers "But I think you want to ask a different question" he grins
"You passed Miss Oto Valentina, you are once more a Chunin Rank member of Konoha's Shinobi forces" Morino Ibiko announces, watching an almost Anko-like grin cross her face before it softens into a gentle smile
"It's good to be back…. But I can't stop here, I know I wasn't ready for the New World when I was a Chunin before, so I need to keep training!" Valentina declares, a proud smile gracing Minato's face before he grabs the blond and teleports away, deciding to make her relax and celebrate the promotion for at least the rest of the day
Sannin Training Facility
"Now that you've gotten back to where you were, we can begin the real training. Haki!" Tsunade grins, cracking her knuckles, while Valentina contemplates her life choices "As you can probably guess, I'll be teaching you how to use Armament given it's my specialty" she raises her fist and clenches, her hand halfway up her forearm suddenly coated in an oily black sheen "It's a physical enhancer, for offense and defense, but best of all, it can ignore Devil Fruit abilities, mostly logia intangibility, but any special defenses a Devil fruit gives them, haki can ignore if it's higher than the opponent's" she explains, the younger blond noticing a parallel between armament and Kaos' Reflect fruit, though he had previously explained it as resonance feedback, or the power reflecting upon itself and canceling it out "It also works with most forms of elemental chakra further enhancing its effects or physical might in the attacks".
"Ok, so how are we doing this?" Valentina asks
"You're going to try to punch me with armament haki, and while I'm not expecting this version, the vulcanization, the invisible level will do as I'll feel it when it connects" Tsunade explains "We'll also be attempting to activate your Observation haki while we're here, and while it's not as easily augmented, it's still a really useful skill"
"Sounds like a plan, though how am I going to learn to use 2 different forms of haki at the same time?" Val asks, only to get punched in the gut and thrown across the room
"By learning to dodge my attacks until such time as you can land your own" Tsunade says with a wide grin, causing Valentina to question her decision to ask to be trained by a Sannin, before rising to her feet, adjusting the rings she'd been using for weight training and preparing to fight the busty blond with the mountain cracker punches. This….. Was going to suck
Akatsuki base
"This, thing unsettles me" Valentina mutters as she looks at the specimen, which stared back sightlessly with 2 green and one milky white eye "You're making another monster aren't you?"
"Nonsense, I'm just trying to return something once lost to the world again" Orochimaru chuckles "That it's a powerful ability is merely a bonus for myself and the organization"
"Still creepy" she sighs as she follows the man into his main lab "So why do we need to do it like this, all the others have it on their shoulders?"
"Because I made something special for my little sister. I call it the Curse Seal of the Sky. But it needs more space than your frame would allow, so it will need to be put on your back" he explains, Val knowing the last part at least given she was in a towel and shorts "please lay down on the table and we can begin the procedure, this shouldn't be too bad, maybe a little strange during the infusion process"
Valentina nods, lying down and slipping her arms into the straps, gripping the bars underneath and preparing for something very bad to happen, meanwhile, Orochimaru first made 3 tomoe spiraling out of the middle of her spine, then with a 2 finger chakra scalpel carved various glyphs into the flesh within each comma-shaped mark, before the final step and the one both were dreading. Placing both hands on her back his flared his haki, activating the runes as well as filling the tomoe with a black ichor, the snake zoan did his best to ignore the twisting of metal as black fingers deform the bars, but one thing neither he nor anyone else in the Akatsuki headquarters could ignore was the sign of success

"Why can't you be our Sensei Auntie Val? You'd be awesome!" Naruto whines
"First, I'm just a chunin…"
"It's just semantics, Kakashi and Obito-nisans made it to Jonin and you're supposed to be the smart one of Dad's students" Kurama hums, getting a chuckle from Val
"...and even if I already was, I won't be here when you guys graduate" Val admits with a sigh "Have you heard of the Straw Hat pirates?"
"They're in the paper a lot, Mom gives a weird sigh whenever they are, like when Kakashi tells us about some of the pranks your team did when you were our age" Naruto answers
"Amusement mixed with exasperation, yeah that sounds like Kushina" Valentina smirks "The Straw hats, they're my Nakama, my family on the high seas. We all got separated just before the War at Marineford, which my Captain and his brother still decided to go and get involved in, and have given us 2 years to train ourselves up and then meet back up at Sabaody at the end of the Paradice side of the Grand Line, to resume our adventures.
"You're a pirate!" Naruto shouts, getting a head slap from his sister
"Don't scream dumbo, if Mom or Dad find out she might get sent away" Kurama hisses
"Oh they know, and they're still helping me" Val laughs seeing the kids' shocked faces "One thing you need to understand, is the Straw Hats aren't like normal pirates. For one we've saved a princess and her kingdom, Luffy punched out God, we fought the Government to save a crewmate, and I believe in total, our crew has fought 5 of the Seven Warlords. Also we're working on allying all the factions we're connected to from this training session, meaning Konoha will have friends in Helsing, the Sternritters, Weatheria, the Demon Eye, the Revolutionary Army, and even the Whitebeard pirates and potentially the Kuja, though that would be very situational" she explains, getting wide eyes and impressed "Ooooh"s and "Ahhhh"s from the kids
A few months later
One of the downsides to chunin was having to do tedious jobs simply because the information was above the security clearance of lower shinobi, in this case manning the communication tower. Normally a boring job that just lead to a lot of paper work, today not being one of them because…
"This is a fucking joke right?" Valentina sneers at the snail, given she couldn't stab the man who sent over the report
"No ma'am as we state Special Joni…." he began but was interrupted
"I can read you idiot, I'm just asking if it's true or some kind of sick joke?" the blond snarls her eyes starting to itch but anger and pain force her to ignore it "How did you even run into those guys?"
"They came out of nowhere, Uzumaki tried to buy time for us to retreat but, she didn't make it"
There were plenty of things Valentina could have done, scream, stab, use one of many intense jutsus, but as the pain came to a crescendo and chakra flared…
CRASH
A couple of hours later - Hokage's office
"I'll pay for the damages done to the tower" Valentina mutters timidly
"That's not important right now, what caused you to unleash a Sussano is" Minato sighs
"Impressive for a first-timer" Madara chuckles, almost seemingly there just to see her Mangako than an update on news
"Special Jonin Uzumaki Kushina was killed in action when her team was intercepted and attacked by former Warlord Blackbeard and his crew" Valentina explains/relays "According to the reports, she was unable to unleash her full power before Blackbeard was able to get his hands on her and steal her fruit as well as snuff her out"
Silence fell in the room as the news was processed before Minato slammed his fist straight through his desk, the blond flinches but doesn't move from her kneeled position
"This, is an unexpected situation, losing one of our own to a pirate. Would Blackbeard be a kill, or flee on sight though" Hiruzin wonders, trying to keep things on topic, which Minato will understandably have trouble with
"If they have Devil fruits, 100% flee" Valentina suggests "By the sounds of the reports, the only reason the other 2 survived, wasn't because Kushi bought them time to flee, but because one he'd taken her Devil Fruit power he didn't care about the others and left. She was targetted for the Inu Inu no mi model Kyubi no Kitsune, how he learned she had it I don't know, but that was the case"
"We'll need to search for and plug any leaks in the information grid, we don't want to lose any more of our Devil Fruit users" Hashirama agrees
"I'll be more than happy to look into it, the little vixen shouldn't have died like that" Madara scowls
"I could inform…" Valentina begins but is silenced with a hand gesture
"No. I am their father, it would be best that I inform them of what happened" Minato says lowly, before dismissing everyone, who practically flee as it was clear the man needed some time
A few months later
"I'm starting to think you want me to fail" Valentina sighs as she faces off against Kakashi and Asuma.
"Then be glad this exam is closer in theme to the Chunin exams, you don't HAVE to beat us to pass, just show that you have the skills to be a Jonin" Kakashi hums, actually paying attention for once
"Personally I think you could take at least the newer Jonin one-on-one, hence why it's 2 of us and more experienced ones at that" Asuma adds, his trench knives an oily black and shimmering with a blue/green energy that caught her attention
"Pure Wind then? At least that's fewer surprises" She hums, getting a chuckle and a nod from the bearded man
"Yeah, Pops tested me when I was a kid and had pretty high wind but basically nothing else, so no fun subelements to deal with here, just wind and haki"
"Good to know" Valentina nods before opening her umbrella "Show off you said? I'll give it a try. 1kilo float" she cries before leaping into the air, using minor wind manipulation to avoid the fireballs and pressure waves directed at her "And now for a 1000 kilo punch!" a nearly feral smirk crosses her face and she drops down, her right fist shimmering with amateur haki and managing to just clip Kakashi's shoulder as the 2 men dive to avoid her landing on top of them.
"Let's see you fight someone with a weapon now" Asuma states before charging at her with his blades, Valentina rolling and pulling 2 kunai from her pouch
"Wind means they're sharper. It's also a new thing on my work list, and this is even newer" she winks and both of her kunai start to hum and emit a pale purple aura "I call it the Sonic Style Vibroblade, let's see how it stands up in a more or less real fight" she winks before charging at Asuma who meets her in the middle, blades clashing and haki flaring the Sonic release causing her blades to grind against his. One eventually had to give, and as the blade cracked and shattered, Valentina stabbed the blade into his forearm and then jumped back to avoid hands reaching out from below the earth
"I don't think she'll fall for that Kakashi, especially given she was your teammate" Asuma sighs, stepping back at the at least no longer humming blade had done a number on the muscles as well as slipped right between his radius and ulna
"It was a distraction for sure, but he forgot like you said I know more about him than most opponents, such as one of his greatest weaknesses. Tori, Hebi, Ushi, Tora, Tori, Saru. Sonic Release: Debilitation shriek" Valentina winks before jabbing herself in the throat, then releasing a high-pitched ring that caused Asuma to flinch and Kakashi to grip his ears in pain due to his enhanced hearing. When the ringing stopped, the grey-haired man finally noticed the knife at his throat
"I thought you said you couldn't beat us" he chuckles getting an eye roll from his former teammate
"Probably because I expected you both to attack me, going one at a time gave me the openings to take you out… but that was the point wasn't it?"
"Honestly, I was curious if you could beat me after all this, you normally only just barely did on the rare occasions you did manage to get the upper hand in our spars" Kakashi chuckles
"I did try, but it seems I'm going to need to get the rush off my Wind Release if you could cut through it and my blades so easily" Asuma sighs, before cheekily ruffling the blond's hair "I say you earned your spot today"
"She did" Valentina was glad she had already put away her kunai as she rather embarrassingly jumped at the voice behind her "Just as I expected her to" Minato chuckles with a wide grin
Hokage office - 1 week later
"We managed to find the information leak, it was Shimura Danzo"
"Always got a weird feeling from the bastard" Val mutters before being lightly slapped in the head by Obito
"We have evidence he was selling information to various groups, most obviously Blackbeard, but also the World Government. Unfortunately by the time we were able to prove this, the bastard had already fled. I've decided to officially reinstate Team 7 to deal with this threat. Locate and Execute Danzo, this ends here"
"Hai Sensei!" the trio nod, getting a nostalgic smile from Minato before he schools his features
"Very good. Dismissed"
Demon Eye facility - Garreg Mach
"The man you're looking for is on an island in the South Blue, simply known as Eldergleam. While previously uninhabited, supply ships have been noted coming and going for about 12-15 months at this point" Grima lists off from what her brokers had managed to acquire "Also if you pull that book out I'm shoving it either down your throat, or up your ass, depending on my current mood" she adds, seeing Kakashi's hand moving to his pouch, Valentina rolling her eyes while Obito facepalms
"The casual disinterest shtick works on low-level well everything really, but it just pisses off people who are actually threatening" Henry explains with a sigh "It also ensures nobody will ever trust you around anyone impressionable, be it a child, teen or vulnerable adult"
"Sounds like Kakashi Sensei has died before it was even born" Obito chuckles, then notices he was missing a blond to double-team the scarecrow looking man with "Hey, where's Val go?"
"She left after the meeting, looked almost possessed of compelled, don't ask me" Kakashi answers with a shrug, causing the black-haired man to frown, then slap the back of Kakashi's head once he extended his senses
"Your friend has very poor Observation haki, or just poor hearing skills. Valentina has known the entire 18 months that her crewmate has been with us, training as she has, and most likely pinged him on her own senses" Henry guesses, getting a nod from Obito
"Helps that she's Lightning primary so her Observation gets a natural boost" the Uchiha agrees "Anything else?"
"Besides the couriers, nobody leaves that island alive, not in nearly 5 years" Grima adds, mostly because she was curious to see what their reaction would be
"Once we've dealt with Danzo, nobody will have to worry about that island anymore" Kakashi assures her "I think this will be the start of a good working relationship between our organizations"
"We'll see. Payment on divulgence remember?" Grima smirks, as Obito nods and provides a sack of berri and a certain clan scroll "Excellent"
Valentina missed all this, mostly because something pinged on the edge of her haki, something familiar. That familiar prescience turned out to be Kaos, the lanky researcher dodging electrically charged whip strikes by a cackling woman bouncing around the battle arena, currently bereft of his cloak so he was simply in a jet black waistcoat and long pants, the strikes being deflected by a glaive that similar crackled with electricity as he swung and parried her whip cracks
"You know, you're actually getting better at this faster than I expected, then again you are kind of a freak of reality" the woman laughs as she lightning blitz around and ensnares Kaos' leg, the purplette hisses as the electricity flows through him "But your dodging still needs wor…" she's cut off as the glaive pierces her chest, the other whips' metal cord and tip wrapped in his free hand "Clever bugger"
"You kind of have to be to go up against a logia, even if she's also still new to this" he smirks "So, stalemate, I think?"

"Fuck" Kaos groans as his legs buckle and bend from the gunshots just below the knee
"You forgot this was supposed to be training both forms of haki didn't you?" Azulong singsongs, before zapping away once the other end of the glaive touched the ground "Also it seems you have a visitor"
"Hello Valentina" the Straw Hat researcher sighs as he stands up
"Observation haki or sensed my Devil fruit?" Val asks curiously
"Based on what I've been learning here, they might be one and the same"
"Mamama, so this is one of Val's little friends" Kakashi coos as he makes an appearance "Or not so little it seems. I'm going to guess this is your captain?"
"No such luck I'm afraid, can't quite rock a Straw hat like my little brother" Kaos chuckles before switching to his hybrid form, as Devil fruit-related healing seemed to work better when left to its own devices, and this form lacked legs "Mirror Demon Kaos, at least according to the wanted poster, Serpens D. Kaos to everyone else" he winks
"Researcher and 1st mate, and a fellow Lightning primary" Val adds as Obito comes joins in
"It is nice to meet one of Val's crew, she has so many stories but never tries to actually introduce us, so rude" he teases
"I can chat if you have the time, just hold on a moment" Kaos says as what sounds like rolling thunder fills the arena, his right hand coated in a reflective silver coating, before swinging it back and hitting Azulong with a clang sending her skidding back
"Fuck, right in the tits! There's nothing wrong with the observation haki, your dodging skills just suck" Azulong wheezes before sitting down "Alright take a break, it's Helios' turn to kick your ass later"
"Thank you" Kaos smirks before settling on top of his coils similarly to how Hancock does with her familiar, reptilian eyes moving from Valentina to the 2 men with her "Now, this should be fun" he chuckles, a very Orochimaru-esque grin starting to worry the guys
1 month later - Eldergleam
"If I didn't already hate this bastard, I'd want to kill him after this mess" Valentina scowls before using Sonic Style Ear Splitter to explode what seemed to be a charcoal-colored wood golem while Kakashi's Chidori dealt with something she didn't want to admit looked like a half-melted zombie, but probably was
"Yeah, how he kept this hidden for 5 years is anyone's guess" Obito agrees before launching a fireball to destroy the barricades as they continued through the facility, before finally reaching their target, the crippled, scowling form of Danzo standing before the trio
"I didn't expect such a quick response from Konoha, seems I must have struck a nerve on my way out" the man hums, mechanical clicks just barely audible
"Yeah, consorting with pirates and leaking information to enemies, one such information leak leading to the death of his wife, does get you on the top of his shit list" Kakashi shrugs, pulling 2 kunai as he takes point
Danzo chuckles "Should I point out the hypocrisy of your statement, or are you just blissfully ignorant?"
"The Straw Hats are allied with Konoha, not that it matters as I was a kunoichi first and a pirate second" Valentina argues
"Very well then, I guess I'll just have to make an example of you 3, ensure no more will come hunting me anytime in the future" the old man scowls as the harness falls and a wave of black miasma flares through the room "Wood Style: Wood Golem. Kill them" he orders as the Sprigans release a volley of fireballs at the 2 ninja
"How the Fuck do Wood golems shoot fire?" Obito shouts as they dodge and counterattack, having to use his own kunai as he could already tell that fire wasn't going to work on these things
"The same way he's using Wood style, even if his arm looks more like charcoal than normal wood" Kasashi guesses, decapitating one with a lighting blade
"Wood style is different to the other combination types, there's an extra spark. Danzo tried to substitute the divine spark with something, much more abyssal" Valentina adds, slamming 2 into the wall with a Great Breakthrough
"Dark magic, corrupted chakra, it's a twisted facsimile of the 1st's power" Obito scowls "I think it's time we went all out don't you think?" he smirks before activating his Sharingan, Kakashi and Valentina following suit
"Yeah, this fight needs to be as short as possible, I've had enough things mess with me, not going to add whatever Hell energy he summoned to make that arm be added to the list" Valentina nods before activating her curse mark, the tomoe rotate and the tails interlock at her spine "Seal of the Sky: Level 3!"
A high-pitched shriek filled the room as Valentina's skin turns a sickly white, her face narrowed and ears elongate past elven and more befitting the term 'knife ear', then with a clench and twist large sinewy wings erupt from her back, lifting her off the ground with a single beat.
"And you call me a madman, my work is no worse than what Akatsuki has been meddling with" Danzo growls flashing through handseals before slapping the ground with his wooden hand, spear-like bamboo shoots erupting from the ground, causing all 3 to dodge
"Sonic Style: Bloody Mess" Valentina hisses, running through 4 hand signs before finishing with a jab to her throat, causing a high pitched shriek to escape her fanged maw, Danzo coughing up blood as his eardrums and eyeballs ruptured, falling to the ground dead…. Only to flicker like he was an illusion
"Damn it, nobody's supposed to know about tha…" Obito grimaces before having to dodge an earthen ball about the size of a cannonball that nearly took his head off
"Start talking, or I kill you after I'm done with this asshole" Val shouts as she flies away from the fireballs being thrown by more Spriggins
"It's a last resort technique my clan created, sacrificing your eyes to prevent death at the moment of its occurrence. He shouldn't know it, and he shouldn't be able to be still able to fight afterward" Obito admits, deciding to in true Uchiha style, simply overwhelm the tree golems with superior Firepower, unleashing the DragonFire technique and torching about a third of the lab in the process
"Well, given he seems to have made a deal with a demon to get his charcoal style, you don't think maybe he asked for more eyes too. Hey Val you're the one with Eldritch experience!" Kakashi shouts
"The fuck is that supposed to mean?" she yells back
"Your 1st mate, he's some kind of Cthulhu thing, how many eyes does he have?"
"2 you dumbass" Val groans, glad this form separated her arms and wings as she pinches the bridge of her nose "And what do you mean Kaos is a Chthulu thing?"
"Yig, the Father of Serpents and an Elder God. I'm sure if they hadn't interacted during the War, Teech would be very interested in knowing where the boy is" Danzo surprisingly answers, his intact, now blood-red eyes at least confirming Kakashi's thoughts
"Yeah, Kaos kicked Blackbeard's ass, and I'm pretty sure that counts as admittance to working with the Gorilla man" Valentina hums "Any suggestions guys?"
"2, give me a minute, then assist if it doesn't work" Kakashi calls as he rushes forward, spearing Danzo in the chest with a Chidori only for him to turn to dust before their eyes, before the grey-haired man has to block a sword swing with a kunai "So yeah he's probably got a fair few eyes somewhere on his body, so this may take a while"
"How about we try where it all began, his magical arm" Valentina says with a grin before throwing herself at the traitor "500 kilo, Vibro-sword" She cries as Sound Style energy engulfs her blade in a violet aura before with a whirring and buzzing is heard as she strikes Danzo's prosthetic arm at the elbow, severing it in about 20 seconds. The end smokes as if burning from within, while the hand twitches until swallowed up by the earth with a quick tunnel jutsu
"Did it work?" Obito asks before Valentina is thrown at him with a wave of earth
"They should have handed you off to the marines the moment they found you" Danzo sneers, his remaining arm now coated in armament haki up to his shoulder as well as a spiral of wind chakra around his fist "But the bounty posters do say 'Dead or Alive' so this will have to…" he was interrupted by a jet black nodachi piercing his neck and exiting, before cleaving through the right side of his neck
"I hope I wasn't late" Kakashi hums as he cleans his blade off on Danzos robes
"Cutting it just a little close there" Valentina sigh before reverting to her normal form, exhaustion clear on her face "So, he's dead for real this time?" She asks
"One way to find out" Obito says before rolling back the sleeve of Danzos right arm and grimacing "Yeah, the scarecrow was right. There are, or I suppose were about 7 eyes on what's left of his limb, and while 8 of them appear to have burst or ruptured, most likely from when Val tried to liquidate his brain, the other 4 are burnt out, a clear sign of the forbidden technique.
"Seems disarming him saved us the hassle of killing him over and over again" Kakashi chuckles, getting groans from the other 2 "So, want to do the honors?" he asks, Valentina and Obito stepping up and preparing their repective techniques
"Fire Style Grand Fireball" Obito shouts
"Wind Style Rising Updraft" Valentina follows
The duo launch together, creating a brilliant cerulean flame that turned the body to ash in minutes
"Task complete, let's get out of here" Valentina sighs, she really needed to work on the Curse Mark so she could use it longer without completely draining herself "Should we burn the place to the ground first?"
"Nah, somewhere like this, it'll eventually purify itself of the darkness Danzo infected it with" Kakashi argues, leading the way out of the facility.
