AU Return of the Prodigal Son in which Kathy does not die and everyone makes it to Olivia's ceremony. A reunion fic in which Olivia is free to feel all of the anger, hurt and betrayal that she deserves to express, and Elliot and Kathy must pay the consequences of their actions. EO is my endgame, but don't expect the road there to be quick or easy.

I wrote this after I and seemingly the rest of the world began spiraling over three measly seconds of intimacy between the captain and the detective. The title is self-explanatory because only God or anyone involved at NBC knows what the hell will actually happen in S24 E12. So, here's my take on playing the clown and hoping for a hell of a lot more than we'll likely get.
