Sora, Kairi, Kirby, and the Pokémon arrived to the Float Islands and Sora calls Lapras and Tentacruel back and he saw Kirby with the hook in his mouth.
"Kirby, hold still. It's gonna hurt if you move before I get it out," Sora said, removing the hook from Kirby, being careful not to hurt him. "There, it's out."
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby said, feeling better.
"Just before more careful about what you put in your mouth or else you'll be in real trouble," Sora said.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
"We're going to he in real trouble if we stand around talking about it, Sora," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Okay, let's keep on moving. Maybe we can find a boat and sail off the island and back to the mainland," Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Kirby, Pikachu, and Angel started to make their way through the Float Islands. Some of the local creatures didn't seem that interested in them, so they allowed them to pass through, but one in particular was watching them.
It's a brown statue of a head. It has a flat base that rounds off at the top, two deep black square eyes and between those sits a slight nose. A gaping, open mouth appears beneath the eyes and nose. This statue is known as a Kabu.
"It's them. I have to report this to the boss," the Kabu said, taking off in an alarming speed. It lands right at King Dedede's castle and heads for the throne room.
"This better be good!" King Dedede said.
"I spotted Kirby and those kids on the Float Islands!" The Kabu reported. King Dedede growled in anger.
"That could only mean Lololo and Lalala blew it! That robot of theirs must have sprung a spring!" King Dedede said. The Bandana Dee tapped his shoulder, making the king look back at him.
"Aren't the Float Islands Kabula's territory?" The Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"You're right. Kabula should give them a good sinking before they even get off the island," King Dedede laughed.
Back on the Float Islands, Sora, Kairi, Kirby, Pikachu, and Angel fought their way through a horde of Waddle Dees when they started to throw some coconuts at them. There were also knight-like warriors with them.
One is a tiny soldier armed with a sword. He wears a green suit of armor that includes a long helmet with red tassels at the tip, a featureless pink face beneath the helmet, a golden visor, and large shoulder pads which feature golden crescent designs. White-gloved arms emerge from underneath his's shoulder pads. The warrior's body is slightly egg-shaped, and is usually blue or green. They each wear a bluish belt with a silver buckle, as well as brown boots resembling those of Meta Knight. The sword is silver, with a golden ring-shaped grip. These are Blade Knights.
The other is a tiny soldier armed with a sword. He wears a purple armor that includes a long helmet with four ridges on its top, an open visor, and large shoulder pads. White-gloved arms emerge from underneath the warrior's shoulder pads. The enemy's body is slightly egg-shaped, and is usually blue with a brownish belt with a silver buckle, as well as purple boots resembling those of Meta Knight. The sword is silver, with a straight golden grip. The sword features a pair of prongs jutting out from its edges. These are Sword Knights.
Pikachu lands on one and shocks him. Angel swung her tail at another one. A Sword Knight came at Sora, but they clashed their blades, so Sora easily overpowers him. Kairi cartwheels as a Blade Knight came at her and she casts a stone spell, hitting them.
A Waddle Dee threw a coconut at Sora, but he swung at one like a baseball. The Waddle Dee that threw it got hit by it and it explodes upon contact.
"Sora wins! 1-0!" Sora said.
"Why you!" One of the other Waddle Dees snapped.
"Sora, let's send them flying!" Kairi said.
"Right!" Sora agreed.
"Force!" Sora and Kairi shouted as they go flying into the air and straight into the water. A small white squid with small beady eyes and eight tentacles came at the Waddle Dee. The two tentacles on either of its sides are noticeably longer than the six at the bottom, and are usually held upright at both sides of its head. This squid is known as the Squidhy. It grabbed in the face. The Waddle Dee tries to get the Squishy off his face.
"Looks like another capture attempt thwarted," Sora said.
"Don't count your Pokémon eggs before they hatch, Sora," Kairi said. She was right when a Poppy Bros Snr comes hopping in. He is accompanied by some other creatures.
Coming at them appears to be a purple stag beetle, having enormous mandibles and a blue belly. He has four thin, yellow limbs, and wears white gloves on his hands and white shoes on his feet. This is Bugzzy.
Another resembles a tuskless humanoid walrus with a light blue muzzle, dark blue or black overalls, an exposed buttocks, blue feet and white fur. This is Mr. Frosty.
Another is a large knight with green and teal armor. He has a dark green helmet with a white spike on top, a white chest plate, a black base, and teal armor. He carries a large sword and a large black metal shield with a spike in its center. It has two yellow markings shaped like swirls on his teal armor and orange feet. He has a V-shaped opening in his helmet like Sword Knight, but no visible eyes can be seen in the pitch-black space inside. This is known as a Gigant Edge.
appears to be a gorilla-like creature who wields a large hammer, and has no visible eyes. He appears to wear dark blue pants with torn legs and a belt, and a "jacket" with slits in it for his arms. The muscles on his arms are concentrated to the area around his supinator, in a similar fashion to Popeye (I eats me spinach. Toot-toot!). He also has purple sideburns and a pompadour haircut. This is Bonkers.
Anpther looks like a much larger version of Sir Kibble, but with more detailed armor. His helmet is a lot more knight-like in appearance, complete with a double visor. He also has shoulder-pauldrons, red gloves, and sollerets that are slightly curled up towards the end. Like his smaller counterpart, he has a cutter of his own set onto the top of his helmet, this one being both white along the top and yellow along the bottom. Unlike Sir Kibble's cutter, this one is divided into a few segments down the length of it, making it look more like a mohawk. Everything except for his gloves and cutter is colored silver. This is Kibble Blade.
Another is a very large Waddle Doo, about four times the size of a regular one. Unlike most Waddle Doos, however, he has a yellow body, and his eye is purple rather than black. Instead of two strands of black hair above his eye, this Waddle Doo has a large, brown ponytail that extends from his forehead. His feet are orange and pointed at the end, unlike Waddle Doo's round feet. This is King Doo.
Another is a large, blue beetle, most likely based on the Japanese rhinoceros beetle. He has two horns on the top of his head and one huge horn in front. He has two constantly-glaring eyes, each of which has a purple iris. The beetle's shell is adorned with dark spots and a wavy pattern. Thin legs connect his four purple feet to his underside. This is Hornhead.
"King Dedede has ordered us to bring you in!" Bugzzy said.
Sora looked at Kirby and grabbed a sword that either a Sword Knight or a Blade Knight dropped. He threw it at Kirby.
"Inhale this!" Sora said. Kirby inhales the sword and became Sword Kirby.
"Good thinking, Sora," Kairi said.
"You guys will find that we're about to resist arrest," Sora said.
"Get 'em!" The Poppy Bros Snr said.
King Dedede's minions attempts to grab them, but they fought back. King Doo fired a beam from his singular eye as Mr. Frosty spins around and creates ice cubes. Hornhead came rushing at them with his horn as Bugzzy zooms at them. Bonkers carried his giant hammer and Gigant Edge came charging with his sword. Kibble Blade hurls his blade and Poppy Bros Snr threw his bombs at them.
They all managed to dodge their assault, so Kirby clashed his sword against Gigant Edge. Bugzzy dashed at Pikachu and grabbed him with his mandibles. Bugzzy then threw him like a rag doll. Pikachu then does a backflip and fires Thunderbolt at Bugzzy, shocking the stag beetle. King Doo tries to zap Angel, but she was making it too difficult for him to do it.
"Hold still, you dust bunny!" King Doo yelled.
Kairi has her hands full with Mr. Frosty and Bonkers. Mr. Frosty threw some ice cubes at her, but she dodges. Bonkers threw some coconuts at her, but she casts her reflect spell to make them bounce right off. Bonkers spins around as Mr. Frosty came right at Kairi. Kairi jumped out of their way, making Bonkers hit Mr. Frosty instead. Kairi held her Keyblade and casts her balloon spell, making the balloons pop, upon making contact with them.
Bugzzy sends out small ladybugs at Sora and Pikachu, but Sora swats them away with his Keyblade.
"Eat this, flyboys!' Sora said.
"Ready or not, here I come!" Bugzzy yelled, running towards them, but Sora casts his stop spell on him, making the bug freeze in time. Sora then casts his spark spell, hitting Bugzzy. The time spell wore off, and the stag beetle brights up like a Christmas tree. Kirby and Gigant Edge kept clashing blades and then Kirby gained the upper hand and sent the giant sword flying, landing in front of Kirby. He took the giant sword and hands it back to him, continuing the fight.
The fight rages on right until the king's forces had enough of the fight and just retreats.
"These kids are too much for us!" Mr. Frosty yelled.
"I don't know about you, but I'm out of here!" Hornhead said.
"Me too! I had enough!" Bonkers said, running away. The rest of them all ran off.
"Looks like they had enough," Kairi said. "I think we might have been playing too rough for the likes of them." She giggled.
"They started it," Sora said.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
After the fight, they moved right on. They came across a ship and used it to get through, but it wasn't going anywhere.
"Any idea on where to go next, Kirby?" Sora asked. Kirby thought for a moment and he looked at the clouds above them and points up.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby said, pointing. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel all looked up and they saw a cloud up above them.
"Up there?" Sora asked, skeptical.
"Anything is possible in Dream Land, Sora. Why not give it a shot?" Kairi suggested.
"Guess you're right," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Come out, Dragonite!" His Pokéball opened and Dragonite came out. "Think you can fly us right towards that cloud?" Dragonite looked at him, very confused. "I know what I'm asking you to do is weird, but it's our only option." Dragonite wasn't sure, but he obliged his Trainer. He carried Sora, Kairi, Kirby, Pikachu, and Angel and began to fly up.
"This is the only way to travel!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said. She sees something coming at them in the distance. "Vee?" Kairi looked at the female Eevee.
"Angel, what's the matter?" Kairi asked. She got her answer when a cannonball comes flying at them. Dragonite swerved out of its path. It turns out that the boys saw it, too.
"What was that?!" Sora asked.
"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed. Dragonite points ahead of them, and they saw what looks like an orange blimp with a menacing face spray-painted on the front. The eyes has what looks like eyelashes. The blimp has a cannon at the bottom and on top. This would be Kabula. So, she shoots right at Dragonite, hoping to knocking out of the sky.
"That blimp is shooting at us!" Sora exclaimed. Dragonite moves again, but the cannonballs are becoming more aggressive as Dragonite moves from left to right. Kirby gets out of Dragonite's hold and heads for Kabula. "Kirby! Wait!"
"Come back, Kirby!" Kairi said.
Kirby didn't hear them, so he spotted what looks like a leaf, being blown in the breeze. He inhales in and his body bloats up and he fires small gusts of air at the blimp. Kirby and Kabula fired at each other. Kabula tries to ram into Kirby, but he dodges it. Kirby kept up the air assault, missing the blimp each time he fired. Kirby didn't give up one bit. Kirby managed to get a hot onto Kabula and the blimp went down for the count and crashed into the sea below them. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Dragonite were amazed by what they witnessed.
"That was an awesome save, Kirby. You just blew at it and it went down like an avalanche," Sora said.
"Maybe Kirby just helped us out because we're his friends," Kairi said. Sora smiled.
"Makes sense to me. Thanks, Kirby," Sora said.
"Poyo," Kirby bushed.
They all came to the cloud and they were surprised to see they could just stand on it. They were certain they would fall off, but it turns out that they didn't. After making a landing, Sora calls Dragonite back.
"This is amazing, Sora! It feels like a trampoline," Kairi said.
"Maybe these clouds can take us the rest of the way to King Dedede. Let's go!" Sora said.
With that said, they were getting closer to King Dedede's castle and put a stop to him, but how long will it take for Dedede to send another one of his minions after them? Probably not long. But let's hope they make it out okay. Until then.
