Me: Hi everyone. New years has gone and I'm sorry I have not update last 3 month.

May: You were sick for a week or so, getting ready for Christmas, New Years, clubs and studying.

Leaf: Well done to you for getting 10 As on your Christmas exams and your mid year exams are in a few week too.

Robert: You sure have been busy.

Me: I know.

Dawn: You're doing okay in football too.

Drew: I think would run like she's drunk.

May: Shut up Drew!

Me: I'm doing my best Drew.

Misty: I'm sure you'll do great.

Ash: I'm with Mist on this one.

Robert: We should start the story now.

Me: Hope you'll enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 6: A sign of love and faith?

It was about four hours since team Aqua tried to take the girls. The guys soon gave up looking for the girls and returned to the house.

Pam was up making pancakes and Leaf helping her, while Misty, May and surprisingly Dawn were swallowing down the freshly made pancake like in a moment someone will drop down and runaway with them.(That sounds like Ash).The guys were soon to come down so the girls talked quietly between them.

"I can't believe team Aqua send out eight of their men after us." Dawn cried swallowing down another blueberry pancake. "I wonder how they found us in the first place." May wondered. "I think it's from us. Some people can feel waves of our powers." Leaf explained. "If that's the case, then I have the perfect spell to fix that." Pam smiled. "Really, then come on lets cast the spell." Misty jumped out of her seat and then Pam frowned. "My spell book is back in my room in Petalburg." She sighed. "Okay then but what are we going to do." Leaf moaned. "Don't worry we'll be going back in a day." May pointed out.

Just then the girls hear a noise from the stairs. It was Ash running to the kitchen. He must have smelled the pancake and woke up. The girls looked at each other and grab as many pancakes as they could, before Ash reaches the kitchen. Behind Ash were the other boys looking wide awake from Ash's run to the kitchen. Lucky for the boys, Pam and Leaf started to make more when they saw what was coming.

"Go' morning everyone." Robert yawned rubbing his eyes like a cat, which Pam found cute. "Hey guys." Pam answered back. "Cool, blueberry pancakes." Ash cheered. "Did you girls sleep well last night? You look really tired." Ash frowned before filling his mouth with pancakes. "Not really. We woke up from loud noises from outside." May yawned. The guys took that as a surprise even Paul. "You must have imagined it air-head." Drew said trying to cover up. "Quit calling 'air-head' grass-head." May snapped. "Whatever you say June." Drew smirked. "It's May you moron." May yelled. Then in a second a fight began between Drew and May, while everyone else laughed. (Exclude Ash, he's too busy eating pancakes.)

It has been a week since mid-term and the girls finally cast the spell to stop people who can sense magic would not be able to trace it back to them. The spell works by spreading the sense of magic everywhere so the person or people with magic are hidden with normal people. The guy seems to notice that also.

It was a bright Saturday morning for everyone. With a clear sunny sky and little patches of cloud no one would believe it was close to winter. The girls were everywhere around campus. Pam was in the school park, Misty in the sports hall, Leaf in the library, May in the shops and Dawn in the dancing hall.

May's P.O.V

Today was going well so far until I went to get some food and the fridge was empty. I swear to God I almost had a heart attack. My worst fear has come through. So I got dressed and started to make my way to the shop down the street from campus. I had a feeling that I was being watch for some reason but I tried to forget about it. I was probably over thinking about it. I should have been worry free since the spell we have casted the spell. The only flaw with it is that after about two weeks it would wear off and then we would have to redo. I felt a long and heavy sigh escape my lips. I wish my friends' and my life would be easier. We have lots of worries already about school, each other, our music AND our powers most importantly. A normal person would be tearing out their hair about test or what to wear the next day but oh no not us hell no. Sometimes I wish I wasn't special but what can I do.

I finally got to the shops and I bought all kind of sweets. I had cookies, donuts, cakes, tarts, crisps and other kinds of sweets in my basket. You should have seen the face of the guy at the counter, his eyes almost popping out of his head because of how much sweets I had. He looked like fish who was about to get a heart attack. "Don't worry I'm not going to eat all of this by myself." I reassured him and he gave a look of relief.

After paying I skipped out of the store with a big full of sweets. I did nothing wrong and was just walking back to my dorm enjoying the weather when a basketball almost hit me in the forehead. I fell backwards and closed my eyes ready to land on something hard and cold but I felt two hands behind my back stopping me from falling. When I re-open my eyes I saw a pair of ruby red eyes looking down at me filled with worry.

"I'm sorry May. Are you okay?" asked Brendan. "I'm okay thanks." I smiled pulling myself back up. "Did I hit you with the ball?" he asked. "Sorry you kind of did." I laugh shyly rubbing the back of my neck. "Sorry about that." Brendan apologized. "It's okay. I didn't really get hurt." I said having my hands in all directions. Brendan gave a little laugh looking at me being so flustered. He probably thought I looked stupid. "So what did you think of the house on the lake?" he suddenly asked. "All I wanted was a nice and quiet mid-term but I got the opposite of that on the first day." I sighed honestly. "I know what you mean. I had my best friend Ace banging the drums for half of it." Brendan laughed. "Ooh, so that's where the banging was coming from." I said looking shocked.

We somehow end up talking about random things, sharing stories and laughing.

End of May's P.O.V

What May and Brendan haven't notice was that here was a person watching what they were doing. Standing beside a bush and not moving an inch. After a few more minutes something green started to move towards the two. "I thought I heard a loud voice." said a voice behind Brendan. May looked behind Brendan and saw Drew standing there, as cool as ever. "And hi to you to grass-head." smiled May. "Do you know what to do on the test?" Drew asked May. You see Drew helped her with math last week. "Yep! Thanks again Drew. I think I better go. See you again." Said May walking back to campus.

"I know that you're doing." Drew said looking at Brendan. "And what would that be Hayden?" Brendan asked raising an eyebrow." She's not a toy." Drew said with anger rising in his voice. "I think what you're trying to say. You have feelings for her and you're scared that I'll steal her away from you." Brendan smirked."Maybe I do and I won't lose to you again." Drew said before walking felt really annoyed at Brendan, he wanted to tell him off with out sounding jealous. Drew didn't realised that he said he likes May until he was back in his dorm. His feelings for May wasn't that strong but as time goes on he knows that they will become stronger. He wanted to fight the fact but he couldn't bring himself to deny his growing feelings.

Unlike most girls Leaf likes to spend her time in a quiet place, the library. She wanted to on supernatural senses and things for school.

Leaf's P.O.V

I wanted to research everything on things like black magic,spells and potions. You would wonder how books like that would be in reach of mortals but you should know that we have people who knows about us working everywhere, but it doesn't mean they have powers. A few of the school's staff knows about the history of my friends' and my powers, so that's why we were all send here By our family.

I went up and asked the librarian for a 'special' book and showed her my neck less and she told which part of the library I could find it in. The book was in the nature part of the library. The mortals would only see information about nature but if you were me or my friends then we can search two topics in the same book but different eyes would go darker if we're reading magic texts But you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I finally found the book I was looking for and went out to get it when another hand went to get it aswell."Ooh, sorry were you going to get that book?" I asked. "It's okay." The guy answered kindly."My name's Red". "I'm Leaf." I smiled at Red. He looks like a kind and cool guy but I'm getting a strong vibe off him. I'm not sure if they're good or bad but we might find out.

We started a random conversation about our interest and hobbies and found out that we have lots of things in common.

While I was talking to Red I felt someone watching me. At first I thought I was imaging it and ignored it but the feeling didn't go away. I kept on talking to Red when a hand covered my eyes.

"Guess who" the voice sang. When I heard that voice I felt annoyed. "What is it Gary?" I asked him in a cool voice. He uncovered his hands and I saw Red's face again and I turned to face Gary." What were you trying to do?" I asked. "Thought I might surprise you." Gary grinned.

The next thing I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. It was a text from Dawn. It said:

Leaf come to my room at four. It's super important. I will kill you if you don't come. So remember four o'clock sharp. Dawn

I decided to not be late because Dawn would kill me. "So, I should go. Nice to talk to you Red." I smile "See you soon Red... Bye Oak." and I waved good-bye to the two guys.

End of P.O.V

After Leaf was gone Gary turned to Red with an annoyed look on his face. "What do you think you're doing Red?"."I was enjoying a nice talk with a cute girl. But you just have ruin it." Red said sounding disappointed. "I saw Leaf first Red and I like her." Gary start. "And you'll break her heart." Red added. "No I won't." Gary snapped. "Leaf is different from other girls and I like her." Gary admitted. Those words came out so naturally to Gary and gave Gary a fright.

"Well if that's the case, I want her more now. Thanks Gary." Red smirked and walked away. Gary was now clearly annoyed but he was now more determined to make Leaf his even more. Now it was a race to Leaf's heart And he'll do anything to get here before Red.

Pam was sitting in the park enjoying the last of the sun after the cold weather Of her headphones in listening to her favourite songs like Perfection by S.J.M (it is really one of my most favourite songs of all time) and drawing in her sketch pad. She looked calm but really there were a million thoughts going through her mind like team Aqua, her future and her friends' and others.

'What is going on with my life? Why can't I live a normal life' Pam thought with a heavy sigh escaping her lips but she decided to push all those thoughts to the back of her mind and enjoy her day.

Pam's P.O.V

I was just sitting down drawing a butterfly from my family's royal cress. It was a big red, green,blue,yellow and purple butterfly with a king's crown behind it. Soon I will have to take my dad's place for the throne. I was a princess from birth like May, Dawn, Misty and Leaf. We were send here to this world until we were twenty and then back to our world.

I kept on drawing when a football hit me right in the forehead and my head shoot back and hit the bark. While I tried really hard not to lose consciousness I saw a guy running over to me." Are you okay. I'm so sorry." The guy cried in a panic. I wanted to say that I was okay but I was still trying to keep conscious. "I'm okay... I think" I said putting a hand at the side of my head." Sorry did you say your name?" I asked finally back to normal."Sorry. Name's Ace." he smiled. "I'm Pam. And it's okay you mean to hit me with the ball." I laughed." So what were you doing? Trying to send someone to hospital?" I smirked and Ace laughed.

"So you only move to this school at the beginning of the year" Ace repeat what I just said." I heard that there's a summer ball coming up." Ace brought up another topic. "I'm not really into things like that like my friend Dawn and Christmas was just last week.." I said plainly. "Really? I thought you would be dying for it to come." Ace said in shock. "You only know me for 10 minutes! How were you suppose to know!" I laughed. Ace and I talked together longer and I couldn't help but feel happy.

End of P.O.V

Robert was walking down the park when he saw Pam and Ace. He looked at them talking to each other and felt sad. Since coming back from mid terms Robert and Pam rarely see each other and seeing her talking to another guy made him sad and surprisingly jealous and angry. He rolled his hands in a fist and watch Pam silently. He wouldn't angry at Pam but Ace. Robert and Ace has a rivalry between each other for years and Ace always try to get everything Robert wants. Robert didn't care that much but when trying to take the girl he like is crossing the line. He admits that he like Pam and this time he didn't correct himself for admitting it because he was to angry at Ace.

A short moment later Robert walked over to Pam and Ace. "Hey Pam." He said with the happiest voice he can do. "Ooh, hey Robert." Pam smiled. "I didn't know you where here Robert." Ace smirked and looking at Robert in the eyes. "Hello cousin." Robert said flatly and returning the cold stare. Pam looked between them and could see fireworks and sparks between them two. Pam sigh and began to speak to clear the air. "Well I have to go. Dawn want me to go to her dorm by four." Pam said waving good-bye.

After Pam was gone the real fireworks was starting. "What do you want her Ace?" Robert asked with a clear angry tone behind his words. Ace just smirked and looked up, "Nothing really. You know I can't help but charm cute girls like her. And I have to say she is the cutest one yet." That comment really annoyed Robert and it was showing because he had his hand rolled into a fist and his red with his blood boiling inside him.

"Just leave her along Ace. She doesn't deserve being hurt by the likes of you." Robert said glancing coldly at his cousin. "Why would you think that I would hurt someone like her?" Ace said with a clueless look all over his face. "You know what I'm talking just play with their feelings until you get bored and dump them fast and hard too at that" Robert snapped.

"Sorry Rob, but if you want her you'll have to beat me first." Ace laughed. "It's not a game. Pam is not an object,prize or trophy. She's a human being. She has a heart and soul. She deserves respect." Robert said and felt like a fire had been lit deep inside his soul. "So you're serious about Pam. Good for you and bad for you. Now I want her more because of you." Ace smirked. "She's just a friend and I don't to see her getting hurt." Robert said trying to hide his feelings. "Say what ever you want but both of us knows that we both like her. So I'll give you a day head start," Ace smirked walking away "But we both know that I'm going to win Pam".

And with those words, Ace left Robert standing under the sky thinking about Pam,his feelings and a family law...

The girls were all in Dawn's room wondering what the bubbly of the group has to say. "What is it this time Dawn? Is it another fashion emergency? " asked Misty looking annoyed thinking back. "No it's nothing like that. Remember that book my family gave me when we came here?" said Dawn carrying out a brown book with five gold locks on it. "Yeah we remember." answered Leaf. "My parents told me that when we have all of our powers we would be able to read the pages about our D.N.A and other powers we have."Dawn pointed out placing the book in the middle of her bed. (Remember their D.N.A are Angle, Demon, Fairy and Human)

"So it's about time we open it." Dawn said tapping her index finger on the five locks. The book gave a faint glow and the pages turned over to the last five and most important pages. "Wow I saw knew about this!" Pam gasped looking at the first page with big eyes. It said

Under a place filled with mortals shall lay five gems filled with hope,light,love,joy and passion. Shall the blue moon decide the faith of your lives. The ones you think you know will hold your doom. Beware of Aqua and its tricks. Shall the five save you in the mid night blue moon of this summer's night. Only you shall decide the world's faith with the one you love or shall you fall before the one you love. Let the gems see the light before the darkness takes over.

The girls' eyes were wide open shocked after reading only the first page. "Well that's a lot to take in for a page." Misty said looking at her friends who shares the same faith. "Why can't they just leave just alone for the summer!" cried Pam and May with tears coming out of their eyes anime style." Lets just keep on reading." suggested Mist turning over the page. " AH COME ON!" screamed out Dawn reading the next page.

Anger may release the monster sleeping inside your heart and soul. May love grant you greater powers than before and save you at the moment of death. You shall grow wings to fly to the light or grow a tail and swim into the darkness. Once you decide you will never comeback.

"Does that mean one of us are going to die?" May asked with concern. "We don't know May. Some times it's hard to tell." Leaf answered. "We can only wait and see. We can't change our faiths. Our family have waited for us for over two thousand years." Pam added looking out the window sadly.

Our lives are decided. We can't change it. It our faith. Why do we have to have this faith? We one of us turn for the darkness and who is the one I love?

May,Leaf,Dawn,Misty and Pam were all asking those question over and over again and again...
