Me: Hi everyone, look I'm not dead. Sorry for the long wait. I've been really busy lately. School with their summer exams, a moron hacked into my computer and all of my data is gone... God why me out of all people?

Drew: Because you're bad luck or you're stupid or both.

Me: Shut up you talking cabbage!

May: You're asking for trouble Drew.

Me: I'm off for two months so I'll be working hard on new chapters and I again am very sorry for making you wait so long.

Chapter 7: Different feelings

Dawn's P.O.V

Another day in our long life. I always feel so isolated. I feel like I can't trust anyone other than my four friends and my mother since I moved to this place. Us five had to be taken away from our homes to be protected. Because of me and my powers people lost their love ones, because of me their lives were destroyed and because of me my dad died.

The weight of the world are always on our shoulders. We were born with a curse. People think having great power is great or a blessing but it's not and it will never be. You are always on the watch or being watched, are limited to what you can do and where you can go. I hate that life. Our destiny are already decided way before we were even born. At least here we can live as normally as we can.

So anyway I got up out of bed, had my normal morning scream because of my hair, got dressed and went to get my breakfast. I wore a light peach coloured blouse with a pair of black jeans, a pair of white two inch open toe heels and a black light leather jacket.

"Good morning guys!" I greeted my best friends. "Hi Dawn" smiled Misty walking to her locker. "Ohayo gozaimasu!" Smiled Leaf. "What does that mean again?" Asked May. "May we lived in Japan for four years and you still don't know what that means?!" I looked at my blue eyed friend in surprise. "Yep. I don't know what that means!" May said cheerfully. "It means 'Good morning' May." Leaf sighed. "Good morning guys!" Pam cried running over to us with her books in hand. "Why are you in school early?" I asked. "I needed to talk to the teacher about the music assignment for next month." Pam explained. "You look so cute Pam! Did Robert ask you out!" I teased her. It's fun teasing Pam and May because they say one thing and their face tells me the opposite.

Pam wore a white t-shirt saying ' Music is Life', a sleeveless black hoody with cute cat ears, black pair of shorts, converse and around her neck was of course her necklace and a pair of black and blue headphones. "What song are you listening to?" May asked putting her head close to the headphones. " Are you still asleep air-head?" Said a voice. My morning is never boring. "Shut up you stuck up cabbage!" May yelled at Drew. " That's not a very nice way to greet someone good morning April." Drew smirked. "You don't deserve one you moronic cabbage." May snapped back. "I'm surprised you even knew a word that long. Congrats you have an IQ of a ten year old." Drew smirked. "Why you!" May screamed ready to punch him to the moon.

"And how is my lovely flower on this fine morning." Grady said sliding over to Leaf. "My morning was great until you and your cheesy pick up line came and ruined it." Leaf said smiling sweetly at Gary. "How cold Leafy!" Cried Gary. "You have not even scratch my cold side yet Oak." Leaf said fighting back looking annoyed but in her eyes she looked like she was enjoying herself. She's such an easy person to read. "I love a feisty girl." Gary smirked. "Not another Drew please!" We heard May cry with big sad eyes and we all laugh. "Hey Mist!" Ash said coming from behind Misty with pancakes in his hands. "Morning Ash!" Misty smiled at Ash lightly. I've never seen Misty's eyes look at a guys with such a soft light in her eyes. I can see everyone dating each other. Leaf and Gary, May and Drew, Pam and Robert and Ash and Misty. "Good morning princess!" Laughed a happy voice. "Aah! God Robert you scared the life out of me!" Pam yelled half-heartedly but then smiled. "You look nice today." Robert said looking up and down at Pam. "Th..thanks." Pam said turning her face away hiding her red face. "Haha you're so cute." I cried out loud hugging Pam.

"Grow up Troublesome.." Said a cold voice. Why is this guy always so gloomy and dull. "Hi Paul! Good morning to you too. I hope your day is going to be nice and I hope you won't act like an ass today!" I said happily with a big bright smile. " So you finally shuck up for yourself. About time." Paul said with a cold look in his eyes. Why does it always end up like it. I think Paul is a nice guy and I really like him. Not as a romantic like but... I couldn't help but I like looking at his eyes. They look so dark and warm. I love dark coloured eyes and Paul's is a good example. It makes me feel sad knowing that Paul and I can't get along and be friends like the others. This always happened to me but I never felt so sad not being friends with someone. Why Paul out of all the people on earth?! I looked away from the others feeling jealous and sad. I don't know what to do or feel.

Paul's P.O.V

"So you finally shuck up for yourself. About time." I said to Troublesome. It was about time she answered back to me but now I want to annoy her ever more. It's fun to see her reaction every time I call her Troublesome. After about a minute Dawn turns away us looking sad. Her eyes looking so dull and sad. Did what I say hurt her? Don't you dare make me feel guilty. "What's wrong with you?" I asked looking annoyed. "Ooh,... Nothing... Nothing's wrong." Dawn answered with a smile but I know that she's lying. She's always happy and bubbly but she looks like something is bothering her. She's hiding something and I'm going to find out what it is.

"Dawn came on! We have to get to history class or we'll be late!" Cried Leaf pulling Dawn's arm. "I'm coming!" Pouted Dawn walking beside Leaf. "We'll we better go. See ya!" Pam smiled and walked off with Robert since they both have Maths. I had Science first thing and so did Gary, Ash and Misty. All of us went to our own class. Today we where making crystals out of copper sulfate. I'm good at science and technology so I was the first to finish so I just sat there and looked out the window.

I hate my life. It's not easy doing missions. We always get in danger so our lives are always on the line. Everyone always see me as grumpy and cold but if you have a life like mine or the guys' lives you would understand why. We shouldn't get close to anyone because of our job and we would have leave them and probably never see them again after the mission is done, so I keep people at an arm's length.

This mission has to be the longest mission we have EVER been assigned to. It has been six months and we still haven't found the girls. Where could they be hiding?! This is a game of hide and seek, with us guys and team Aqua looking for those girls like the world depends on it. Oh, wait the world actually does depend on this. The entire world can be destroyed depending on who finds the girls first. Just thinking about it makes me annoyed. They're right under our nose but we still can't find them!

"This is so stupid..." I said to myself. "What was that Paul? Do you have a problem with this experiment?" Asked the science teacher looking at me. Shit! I didn't mean to say anything out loud! "No sir." I said quietly. "Good. So everyone..." The teacher said starting to tell us what the results should be if the experiment was done correctly. I hate this class. No one has a harder life than us guys.

No one's P.O.V

It was finally lunch time and the girls came out together from their English class. "Finally! Lunch time has come!" May cried happily skipping along side her friends. "Pizza Monday! Come on May! I want pizza!" Pam cried wanting her lunch time pizza.

As the girls sat down Ace, Brendan, Red, Lucas and Rudy started to walk toward them. "Good afternoon girls." Smiled Brendan. "Hey Brendan! How was class?" May asked putting her meaty pizza slice down. "Good. You should have been in science. Ms Hazel fell over her own feet and got her head stuck in the bin!" Brendan laughed. "Really!? Do you have a picture?" May asked and Brendan nod, "Show it to me it please!". "Hey Dawn." Lucas said. "Hey. How's your arm?" Dawn asked looking worried. Lucas had fractured his arm when he fell down a flight of stairs. "Yeah it's healing pretty fast. So I'll have the cast off in about two weeks." Lucas smiled reassuring Dawn and she smiled softly back. Lucas could feel his face heating up quickly.

"Red did you read the new book from the Never More collection yet? It's so good!" Leaf said excitedly. " No, not yet. But I have the book here." Red said showing Leaf the book. "You'll love the tenth chapter. You will never expect it to happen to them. I was so surprised." Leaf said. "I'm more excited now." Red smiled. "Misty are you going to join in the big race this weekend?" Rudy asked. " You bet and I'm going to win too." Misty said with a confident smile. "You'll have to bet me but." Rudy laughed. "That's not hard." Misty shot back. "Really?" Rudy asked. "Really." Misty replied. "Hey Pam!" Ace said poking Pam. "Ah! Stop it! I... It tickles... Ah! Ace!" Cried Pam.

A few tables from the girls you could clearly saw five very annoyed and unhappy faces belong to non other than Drew,Gary,Ash,Paul and Robert. "What with Red! He would usually lose interest in the same girl by now!" Gary pointed out. "Look the o so great Gary Oak is jealous!" Drew smirked. "You can't talk Drew. You look like you're about to punch the guy." Paul said which was right because under the table you can see Drew's hand is in a fist and trembling out of jealousy. "Paul you look pretty P.O as well." Ash said. But Ash was as equally annoyed at the other guys. The four guys then looked at the only who has not said one word. Robert is the type of person who get jealous very easily and will hold a grudge. " Stupid cousin. Two timing jerk. Touching her is your biggest mistake buddy." Robert mumbled.

Some where far away

In a castle far away there were five mighty rulers in concern about something. "I am sending you to Earth to find the five princess. They have to be protected from now on." Said a deep voice. "I trust you with my daughter's life and so does the other kings and the whole kingdom." Said a beautiful woman. "We will not let you down your majesties. The princesses will be safe from Aqua." Said another voice but this voice was softer and some what belonged to a young person. "Guards open the portals." Commanded another voice. "Yes sir." Said the royal guards. The portal was opened and beautiful rays of light poured into the hall. The room was lit in light purple,green,red,yellow,white,blue and other warm and soft colours. Another group of people were coming into the girls' lives. Who are these people?

Me: Chapter 7 is done! I hope that it was worth the wait for.

Leaf: At least you got it done. So time to start another chapter.

Gary: So what's with you and the 'It has to be 2000 words or more in a chapter' thing?

Me: I don't like a chapter short or too long so I think 2000 words is about right.

Drew: Or maybe it's because she was born in 2000.
