Author's note:The basic idea of this chapter is to have your Dungeons and Dragons group summoned by Louise, and what they would do. The actual passage is to show how it would work.

Louise stared at the scene in front of her. At the four in front of her. What seemed like a knight in some heavy cloak, some giant burly man, and what looked to be two well dressed young men, dressed much like some of the less flamboyant nobles. All four had drawn some sort of blade, two rapiers, one greatsword, and a war hammer.

All four turned towards the crowd, shouting something in some strange language. A small, albino, boy stepped out, having no weapon in his hands and stepped between the two groups. Saying a word Louise didn't understand five time, the child smiled brightly, "Can you understand us now?" he asked. Louise nodded, "Yes." The other four lowered their weapons, though still keeping them in hand, except for the giant man, who instead held up his greataxe.

The child smiled, "Good, good. Now, who are you and why are you here?" he asked, smiling a completely adorable and disarming smile. A perfect smile to appeal to any female, "I summoned you here to be my familiar." Louise explained, totally captured by his cuteness. The boy stopped, shaking his pure white hair put both hands around his chest, "Stop looking at me with those lustful eyes!" he shouted, before reconsidering.

Louise felt herself fall apart, even as the boy started shaking. "P-p-please don't rape me." he whimpered, slowly walking towards the four behind him. Louise, finally regaining proper thought, whipped out her hand, "I'm not going to rape you!" she shouted, "Wait! I need to kiss you!" she shouted, jumping after him.

Somehow the boy dodged, and ended up behind the legs of one of the black dressed men. "Protect me Oni-chan!" he shouted.

The black closed man smiled and leaned down, before kneeling down next to him. "You shouldn't cast such spells on young women." he smiled, before throwing the child down. "Now why is such a powerful mage pretending to be a child?" he asked, his hand glowing with some black energy.

The albino boy chuckled, backing up. "First of all, I am only twelve. Second of all, the powerful wizard thing is true. As for why I'm acting so stupid, mostly for entertainment." he shrugged.

The black dressed man who held him down sighed, "Very well. I suppose we should introduce ourselves. I am the Black Duke. You?" he asked, both giving his name and title, and forcing those around him to do the same. The large man with the greataxe laughed, "I am Birdcrap the Barbarian, and this is my brother Louis!" he proudly exclaimed. The black dressed teen simply nodded his head in agreement. The white haired boy smiled, "I the great Wizard Hairy!" he smiled.

The class stepped back, "Zero summoned a noble!" they yelled. The black dressed man and teen both nodded, "Yes." the answered.

Louise felt herself fall back into shock. The man dressed in black smiled, "However, since I know how important to have a familiar, I will stay under your command until you die." he smiled, unintentionally disarming the crowd. Louise nodded. Louis sighed, "I have noting better to do, I suppose, Birdcrap?" Birdcrap shrugged. Nodding, Louis turned back to the crowd, "Very well, we shall also follow you until one of us dies." he nodded. The twelve year old boy smiled, "I got nothing better to do."

Louise was shocked. "Yo-your not mad?" she asked. Louis stepped up next to her, "I'm livid, actually, but I need to start settling down anyway, and this would be a perfect place to do it while my palace builds up guards." he explained. "Besides, I can go back anytime I want, with a teleport spell, and I would love to be in an actual Academy for once." he explained, pointing to the castle. Louise looked up to the Black Duke, "A-and you?" she quivered.

The Duke smiled, "Absolutely, I have used my familiars for an entire war, so I know I can't simply refuse." he chuckled, "I couldn't leave another human to something I wouldn't do myself."

And so a contract was formed, between the two strongest necromancers of their time, a barbarian known for loving wizards, and a Archmage from times long gone.

...Time Skip...

Louise was having a wonderful day. The Black Duke had shown her some of his powers, apparently holding back some of his more 'war centric' spells. He summoned a block of stone, and then crushed it into an elaborate fountain. He opened up a small portal in the fountain, and boiled the water, which boiled. He cast another spell, which turned the water back into it's original state, where he grabbed a small glass and sipped from it, the water crystal clear.

He had closed whatever made the fountain, but it was still amazing to see such a display of such powerful magic used so causally. He had given her a small bracelet, pulled from a small bag he carried in his back pocket, which allowed her to communicate with him from long away.

She had managed to get the rooms for her familiar squared away as well, as apparently the Black Duke could summon a giant mansion from a single door, and make it last.

The five had slept in there for the night, and had kindly woke her up in the morning. She had got dressed without hassle, the Black Duke making a golem to do it, and she had been been almost without hassle for the entirety of breakfast. The Barbarian was apparently still asleep, and everything had been wonderful.

She sat in her earth class and enjoyed the comforting sensation she got when she did work.

It was in this that everything went wrong.

"You monster!" Bursting through the door, Louise watched as Birdcrap ran through the door, slamming it behind him. "I didn't know she under age!" he claimed. Then, the door suddenly disintegrated, revealing the Black Duke, the white haired boy, and Louis. The Black Duke held his sword in one hand, and it glowed a dark purple in the light. "She is seven!" he shouted back.

The barbarian looked like he was going to shout back, before apparently thinking better of it. "She was hot!" he shouted, after several seconds of thinking. The duke ground his teeth, "She's a dragon!" he yelled out. Birdcrap looked up again, argument ready, before looking down for several seconds, finally deciding on "She clearly flashed me!"

The Black Duke growled, "She's a dragon, you uncivilized scum! They doesn't wear clothes!" The barbarian considered this, as if just realizing this, before trying an obvious scape-goat, "I'm a barbarian." he tried, doing his best to look like he didn't know any better.

"No. You aren't a barbarian, you can't use that as an excuse. I've dealt with barbarians, I've used an army of fifty of them to repel almost three hundred enemies. I know what a barbarian is, and you can't blame your strange obsession with dragons on your brothers!" the Black Duke raised his hand, a spell ready, before jumping away and throwing it at his attacker.

A black, shadow-like creature was destroyed, the creature unraveling from the inside. Louis trailed through the broken door, a slight purple aura burning around him. "Do not kill him." he ordered a death glare in his eyes. The Black Duke scowled, "He must be punished for such unrighteous acts." he explained. Louise nodded, "I agree, do anything that would not kill him or permanently hamper him. I still need him for combat." Louise explained.

The Black Duke smiled, "Very well."

Before them, lay Louise's ex fiance, and ex husband, but that wasn't really official. Her familiars were arguing with prince Wales about what to do now. The Black Duke commended the prince for his courage, but insisted that the five of them could help fight off the invading army. Louis harshly examined the Prince's foolishness, telling him he should leave, or at least allow the five of them on the battlefield. The white haired boy had turned harsh, not voicing any opinons, but stating facts about chances with each plan, along with estimates about various strengths and weaknesses on either side. Birdcrap was holding the door, not using any facts or logic, but yelling insults to every side, except for Louis's, and shouting profanities at all the enemies.

Finally, of several minutes their enemy trying to break down the door, Birdcrap finally was pushed back. On the other side were several nobles, many of them at least line class mages. "I'm sorry." Prince Wales whispered into her ear, before putting on a front.

The Black Duke stood without fear, however, and none of her familiars seemed to fear anything, especially Birdcrap. The Black Duke did, however, step in front of the herself and the Prince. All five familiars smiled, "So, who wants to clean house?" asked the white haired boy, apparently relived by their enemies actual presence. Louis shrugged, "Birdcrap?" he asked, a hidden question being asked.

The barbarian smiled widely before taking out a massive warhammer. Swirling it around, he smash it into the nearest soldier, letting the electricity run through his body before grabbing it with one hand and throwing it at the other soldiers. One of the mages put up a wall of air, capable of stopping a running soldier in his tracks, but it crashed down as soon as the dead body hit, and knocked down the entire front line, as well as many of the lines behind that.

Not even bothering to see what the body of the dead man did, Birdcrap charged at the line of mages, hitting and killing three at once with a single, wide sweep of his hammer. A bolt of lightning erupted as one one of the mages cast his spell.

The lightning bolt hit him dead in the chest, with aim that could be considered divine. It didn't stop Birdcrap, for, despite his terrible name, Birdcrap was a barbarian of unmatched skill and strength, and there's no way any normal man could be as strong as he is.

Yelling a wordless battle cry so loud many would later swear it shook the continent, he charged, smashing the mage and the other soldiers around him with two quick swings before charging out the door, intent on taking on every soldier the enemy had.

The Black Duke sighed, as Louis walked over to the three of them calmly, and the white haired boy somehow appeared next to her. Louise just paled, "How strong is he?" she asked. Louis shrugged, "He once uprooted a tree with his bare hands and used as a improvised club." Prince Wales paled beside her, before looking down the hallway, and turning around, "He's the strongest man I've ever seen."

Louis chuckled, "Strongest, yes. But he isn't the best actual battle decisions." Prince Wales looked confused, "What do you mean?" he asked. Louis's chuckles grew slightly louder, "When he uprooted the tree, he had an enchanted greatsword on his back." Prince Wales went slack jawed.

Since her familiars were the strongest men in the current world, they had been requested in battle by both the Queen of Tristan, and the King of Albion, and the other side, by several messengers of Reconquista. Since her familiars were going to battle, each of them considered to be worth a hundred men, she felt honor-bound to go as well, even if they didn't need her help.

Thus, as a proper young lady, even if she summon a dragon-loving barbarian, Louise chose to consult her parents on the matter. They had gotten here by a giant red dragon, the familiar of the white haired boy. Apparently, he was something called an Archmage, which meant something different in his world, and that allowed him to have such a powerful familiar.

They had flew over to her house without major incident. The Black Duke had done some business back in his dukedom. He had come back several minutes before they had arrived at the estate, however, with a rather annoyed expression on his face. He didn't say anything, though, so she assumed he was fine.

They quickly were greeted by commoners before being escorted to her mother and father. Her sister Éléonore hadn't made it yet, but her sister Cattleya was there and the two had a great family bonding time. Louis had disappeared off at some point, and Birdcrap seemed intent on wrestling with Karin's griffon familiar. The Black Duke was in the kitchens, talking to the commoner staff about something. The white haired boy, however, sat in the room, playing with Cattleya's pets, and listening to their conversation.

A day passed before her oldest sister arrived, and matters could truly be discussed.

"Éléonore! It's nice to see you!" Louise exclaimed happily. Éléonore smiled, "It's nice to see you too, little Louise." she said, eyes softening. Louise huffed at the nickname, "I'm not little." Éléonore smirked, "Of course not." she chuckled.

The Black Duke stood behind Louise, carefully remaining noticeable, but not the center of attention. Éléonore noticed this though, as many would, and decided it might be wise to ask almost the older man twice her sister's age standing behind her. "And who is this?" she asked. Louise turned around, "Hm? That's The Black Duke." she explained.

Éléonore raised an eyebrow, "And his name?" she asked. Louise opened her mouth, only to close it after realizing she had absolutely no idea what the Duke's name was. "The. Black...Duke..." she trailed off. The Black Duke raised an eye, "Do you actually no know my name?" he asked. Louise blushed, "No." The Black Duke sighed heavily, "My name is...actually...what is my name?" he trailed off, thinking.

Éléonore's other eyebrow joined her first one, "And who is he?" she asked. Louise, realizing her lack of knowledge, was lost in thought. Éléonore gave her best 'evil glare' instantly knocking Louise out of epiphany, but didn't affect the Black Duke at all. "Who is he!" she demanded again. Louise stuttered, paralyzed in fear, "M-m-m-my f-familiar!" she finally yelled out.

Éléonore calmed down. "I see."

The three walked to the designated meeting spot, a small table on the edge of the house, to have their talk, and tea. When they arrived, Louise found all her other familiars were already there. The white haired boy talking to Cattleya, Louis talking to her mother, and Birdcrap sitting in perfect proper sitting position and eating properly, discussing matters of finances.

Louise was worried they would say something and upset her family, but they seemed to get along rather well. Both Louis and her mom were expert tacticians, her mother said to have held off an army for several days, and Louis having held off an army right in front of her for several hours with apparent ease. The white haired boy, who, now that she thought about it, she also did know his name, had gotten along great with Cattleya, their common interest in animals making them great friends. Birdcrap, she didn't even want to know how he knew so much about finances, but seemed to keep up with her father rather well.

As the three approached, all six gave a polite welcome, before turning back to their respective conversations, Cattleya and the white haired boy talking about how to keep certain animals house trained, and breeding, Louis and her mother arguing about the advantages of Infantry against Cavalry, and Birdcrap and her father talking about microeconomics.

How Birdcrap knew what microeconomics was, much less how to do microeconomics was a mystery to her.

Luckily, it seemed that everyone got along, with even Birdcrap being civilized. Looking behind her, expecting The Black Duke to pull out her chair with a magic spell, as he normally did, she was, instead, met with a Black Duke covered in cold sweat tripping over his own feet, saying, "Henry? Louis? Birdcrap? Louise? Is my name Michel? Rachel?" his normally pristine hair was instead messed up. He looked like he had just woken up. While when he actually just woke up his hair was still perfectly pristine.

"Uhmm... Are you okay?" she asked. The Black Duke stopped and looked around for a split second, before flicking his hand slightly, fixing his hair, and patting the ground three quick time with his foot, making all three chairs slide out slightly. Louis looked at him out of the corner of his eye, "What's gotten you so riled up?" he asked. The Black Duke chuckled, sitting down, "It appears I can't remember my name." he shrugged. Louis's eye twitched, "Couldn't you just ask one of your friends, or your father? Actually, how do you forget your name in the first place!"

The Black Duke sighed, "I haven't been called my name since I started Necron, and I guess going ten years being called the Young Duke or the Black Duke made me forget." Birdcrap nodded as the white haired boy turned pale. Louis, however, raised an eyebrow, "Necron?" he asked, The Black Duke sighed, a small smile on his face, "Necron was a city I started when I was fourteen, obviously I wasn't very good at naming things back then." he chuckled. Louis eyed him suspiciously, but said nothing.

Louise, seeing her familiar's antics, tried to work up the courage to ask her parents permission to go to war. She was interrupted, however, by her father.

"Wait, you are called The Black Duke, are you truly a duke?" he asked. The Black Duke nodded. "Why would your father let you risk your life to start a city?" he asked. The Black Duke's smile widened, "My father was a wise man, forged on the lines of battle, and decided that I needed some experience making my own decisions." he chuckled, "I decided to start my own city, and that it was going to be even better than the capital itself!" he laughed, a misty expression in his eyes.

Louis leaned forward, as did her mother and father, "And how did that go?" Karin asked. The Black Duke smiled, "It's now known for it's incredible research of magic and technology, it has the highest average income in the country, and it's considered one of the most beautiful places in the world. It's also the second largest city in the kingdom."

...Time Skip...

It was over, the entire school was taken hostage, and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Kirche could only watch, as both herself and her classmates were taken as hostages to create a war of ages. The princess's knights had tried to trick, and reason, but everything had failed. Even then, the situation was made even worse by the psychopath that was over the operation.

Suddenly, a voice was heard from outside, on that she recognized as the Black Duke's, "Alright, you've done good, now let us take care of it." Somehow, she heard him suck in a deep breath, "Let every single one of your hostages go and we will not kill every single one of you." He commanded. Some of the soldiers chuckled.

They heard a sigh, "So... Is that a no?" Louis asked. They heard a small whoop from Birdcrap, and Kitchen tried not to think about his gorgeous chiseled chest. Now's not the time. Instead, she focused on the voices, clearly audible from the center of the room. "Very well, can anyone surprise them, maybe take out most of the weak ones, or will I have to do it?" The Black Duke asked. Louis answered, "I can."

The Black Duke stopped talking for a second, apparently nodding."Okay, dueling the big, redhead?" He asked. The white haired boy answered, "I'll do it, he get's on my nerves anyway." The Black Duke's voice surrounded much more relived, "Fantastic! Who wants to be the distraction?" he asked, before thinking about his question. "Got it, let's go."

Sound stopped, and Kirche thought she heard quite laughing, "Come out or we will kill you and every single one of your soldiers!" The Black Duke commanded. The soldier behind Kirche chuckled, his terrible breath forcing it's way down her face, and into her nose. Then, she heard someone else talk.

"Do it."

Suddenly, she felt the weapon held against her go slack, before dropping on the ground. She turned around, and saw five small, shadow-like creatures clawing out of the soldiers body. Looking around, she saw that every soldier behind the insane man was dead, and the man was looking at a small, door shaped portal floating in the air. The door opened, and The Black Duke, Louis, and the White Haired boy all stepped out.

Only now, the white haired boy wasn't a boy, he was a teen, easily as old and mature as she was.

The white haired teen growled, "I really hate you." he explained, "Taking hostages, making my job just overall difficult, made me just generally dislike you." he growled, taking out a small sword, fire flickering off and on it in a seemingly random way. "To this, I must admit, you've given me more hassle than anything in almost a hundred years." he smiled, stepping away from Louis and The Black Duke.

"Louis, kill the rest." he commanded, a hand waving to the remaining soldiers over his shoulder. Louis sighed, before each soldier died.

The white haired teen smiled evilly, "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Archmage Henry The Eternal Flame! Born of a crazy Sorceress mother and a deceitful Demon Father! I cannot be harmed by flames and my greatest accomplishment is burning down one of the Demon Lords! I, the Archmage of Fire, Charles Caster, challenge you to a duel!"

...Time Skip...

The five faced an army of seventy thousand, and Louise thought she was going to die. That was, at least, until Louis somehow got reinforcements, about seven hundred. Then both him and The Black Duke summoned countless of those shadow-like things. Of course, neither of them wanted to let any of the shadows die, so Henry called down 'fiery wrath' from the sky and killed over a hundred men with a single chant, or ten, she couldn't really tell with her familiars.

Then, both The Black Duke and Louis raised a massive amount of the dead, using them to cast various spells and slaughter their enemies. Within moments, over five hundred of the 70,000 soldiers were dead.

Then, the two wizards, one that was constantly complaining about not having enough spells, and the other that never seemed of use his spells other than for protection and flair, both started saying the same spell as fast as they could. "Raise Undead. Raise Undead. Raise Undead. RaiseUnded. Raise ." they chanted, completing spells with a single word, and, perhaps, a separate spell between the vocal ones in their minds.

The army of five hundred and five watched as their army increased, gaining almost a complete squad each second. Finally, Birdcrap shouted what everyone was thinking. "Wizards are awesome!"

...Time Skip...

The King of Gallia, King Joseph, knew what he was up against. Five men that were considered to each be as strong as army. It was said that Louis could control people's minds, and that his natural skills were legendary, stronger, faster, smarter, wiser, better than the any man. It was said that The Black Duke could win any battle, provided he had a dead body. It was said, that he could even raise dragons from beyond the grave, even managing to keep their breath abilities. Birdcrap was probably the weakest link, but even he was said to have charged through enemy lines and been surrounded and still killed hundreds of men in the battle of Albion alone. The white haired boy, Henry, was said to hold heaven's wrath in his hands, his power and control over fire and the elements almost unmatched. It was said to be so powerful that he regularly beat dragons in fire breathing duels. Their master, Louise, was said the be able to fire off countless explosions, each one capable of killing an entire squad. It was likely that she could turn up the power, if she let herself tire out.

He rated them all towards a certain amount of men. The Black Duke was only worth three hundred, about that of a square-class mage, at the battles start, but after the battle started, and people died, his power up went up by three soldiers per second, and he would supply tactical advantage. Louis was much the same, but his power started at a higher level, and either didn't care, or wasn't able to provide the advantage. Birdcrap was an even five hundred soldiers, perhaps four hundred fifty, but his power didn't go up, only down, and he could only attack in arms reach, not the massive areas the others had. The white haired teen was similar, rated at seven hundred soldiers at long range, but he went down to a mere triangle-class after about ten minutes of fighting, and stayed their.

As for Louise, she would probably open the battle with a massive explosion, or try to save it until near the end.

When the battle actually started, however, he was met with a different group. Louis and Birdcrap brought a strange, dark skinned elven ranger, and a brown haired boy, who was just as powerful as the white haired boy, claiming to be Birdcrap's son. The four had worked together, making a fort with the power of the brown haired boy, and the two wizards worked together to create a easily defensible fort, where the archer somehow managed to strike down a soldier with every shot. The boy sent wave after of fire, ice, and even wind to cut wide swaths across his battle lines.

From the Black Duke, a powerful young woman who seemed to be able to do anything, even revive the dead. A knight, who had all the power of Birdcrap, all of his unreasonable amount of strength, but was refined. He didn't have such a massive build, and probably couldn't take as many hits, but the knight dressed in shining silver armor was slowly cutting swaths across his lines in ways never thought possible, he showed no sign of slowing down, and didn't seem to be taking any damage. All the strength performed in precise strikes, each one meant to cut down the enemy in front of him, and work for the greater goal of defeating his, The Black Duke', enemies. Lastly, there was a busty Sorceress, who seemed to have roughly the same powers as The Black Duke himself. Lastly, a black knight who seemed to act like a paladin, but constantly took some sort of blue magic out of the fallen soldiers, and stored them in his sword.

The white haired boy brought only two. A black haired man who somehow got in and out of the battle, and set traps throughout it, while constantly being attacked, and a brown haired girl who seemed to be able to have seemingly endless amounts of golems, and relaxed in a chair watching the battle while thousands of people died every minute.

Each was as strong, if not stronger than the actual five. My mistake he realized, was thinking there was no way these five could have equals.

Author's Note: Once again, these were how my characters would react to the problems in Familiar of Zero, not how they actually should. As for the spells and absurd strength of all the characters, they were all level 20, except for the Archmage, who was level 21, and, no, they are not actually that high yet.
