Chapter 1: Dean
She dated Dean for one reason and one reason only: it was fun. They snuck out to the Quidditch pitch after hours and she bested him every time. He told her about some muggle sport called football and she taught him wizarding nursery rhymes and stories.
He was sweet, and he always gave her drawings he had done of her. His talent could not be denied, the way that he captured her eyes so perfectly.
He was her first real life kiss as well (for dreams do not count, do they?).
But he was only ever just for fun, and the moment she felt herself begin to feel something that was the tiniest bit more than friends, she ran.
Because Ginny was done letting her heart break.
(You would still break for me, wouldn't you?)
