2- HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE
One moment ago, Kara Danvers was showing Ms. Grant her ideas for an article on the country turned pop princess Taylor Swift, all she saw was a flash of red and yellow in the room and the feeling of somebody wrapping their arms around her waist and then she was there. On a random field near the outskirts of town. Kara looked around, not completely grasping the fact that this was the same field that she had met her fellow superhero and good friend Barry Allen in. She felt a light tap on her shoulder and whirled around to see a certain speedster grinning at her. Her eyes widened, "Oh my god, Barry!" She hugged him, trying not to crush his weak…human…body with her super strength. He returned the gesture,
"Kara!" She broke out of the hug, looking him over, trying to evaluate the situation at hand. He chuckled embarrassedly, "So yeah, um I made the same mistake-"
"-and you need me to shove you back to your universe." She continued his sentence. She nodded, "On one condition. You take me back with you." She did the Kara-grin, the one that made Barry want to smile himself.
"Oh Kara, I don't know if I'm allowed to import aliens across the border, Or maybe you'd be considered as precious metals, GIRL OF STEEL." He winked at her.
"Touché, Scarlet Speedster." She laughed, enjoying the feel of having good company. "It's settled then!" Her pitch rose as she clapped excitedly, "I'll get to meet your friends! Wait. Let me change first." She motioned for him to turn around.
"What? Why? You have super speed as well."
"Yeah, but not in front of somebody who can watch things at super speed."
"You mean...YOU WATCH ME CHANGE?" Barry looked horrified.
"No, because you've never changed in front of me before." Kara said in a way that was both reasonable and unreasonable at the same time.
"But hypothetically…-"
"-If I wanted to watch you change, I could." Kara finished his sentence again. Kara and Barry were both blushing at this point. "Now, will you just turn around so I can change?"
Barry sighed, "Fine."
"Was that a sigh of wistfulness or irritation?"
Barry slumped his shoulders, "KARA JUST CHANGE BEFORE I DO IT FOR YOU!"
Kara slipped into her Supergirl costume and tucked her civilian clothes into a secret pocket as fast as her superpowers let her. She didn't want to risk Barry turning around before she was decent.
"Okay! I'm ready!"
Barry turned around, so happy to have finally moved on from the topic of changing clothes.
Kara grabbed his hand, and used their combined speed to launch themselves into the breach. At some point in all this, Kara ended up in Barry's arms, she had no idea how it happened but she wasn't complaining.
