Chapter 7: New Apartment

"Hey, Lucy? You alright?" Zancrow asked as he felt that Lucy keeps fidgeting and her face looks red somewhat. "Are you ill?"

Lucy shook her head quietly then continue what she was doing before, surveying for a place to stay. Though she was feeling a bit uncomfortable by the closeness of Zancrow who was sitting beside her and their arms are touching for gods sake!

"Have you found a place to stay yet? I don't wanna sleep in a hotel again. We'll run out of money soon. We have yet to go on a mission." Zancrow said.

"Not yet, its so expensive. Every house that seems to be comfortable for 2 'stupid Zeref finding an apartment on his own for himself' occupants are above 300'ooo per month for rent." Lucy sighed again.

"Eh? Then that should be fine. C'mon Lucy we're S-class and S-class missions pay better than normal missions." Zancrow said.

"Ah! I forgot that we're S-class. Shit. Oh wow, I'm S-class. Okay, found a place already to stay."

"Alright, let's go then. The sun is setting."

"I'll teleport us there." Lucy said and then Zancrow hold unto her hand and entertwine their fingers. Lucy blushed and almost jumped away from Zancrow. "Wh-what are-" Lucy said before Zancrow cut her off.

"Duh! I need to hold unto you to teleport along with you. Your teleportation speed and field is much faster and wider than mine." Zancrow explained but inwardly he was smirking from making Lucy blushed like that.

Lucy nodded but still blushing a little.

"300'000 Jewels per month, huh?" Zancrow said.

"Yeah. I think the price is good enough with the size of this place. The furniture is complete and perfect. Water and electricity and such."

"Hn." Zancrow replied and went to check the two rooms in the house and put (more like tossed) his bag on the bed of the room of his choice.

Lucy still outside at the living room was studying the books that occupied the single bookshelf in the building. Her pounding hearts and blushing face long gone and Lucy gave no thoughts to it.

But then the door to Zancrow's room opened again and Lucy turned to look at him and blushed the deepest colour of crimson red.

"W-wh-what the h-hell, Zancrow!" Lucy stuttered plus shouted.

"What? I'm heading to the bathroom for a bath, stupid blonde." He said back. He was practically naked except for a towel that hung lowly on his hips. "There's only two bathrooms in this apartment. One in the master bedroom and the other one was back near the kitchen."

Lucy just stared at him blushing. "Well why didn't you take the room with the bathroom then?" Lucy said without thinking.

"Oh, that'd be nice. So everytime you want to go take a bath I can see you walking around in your towel or maybe holding your clothes with your underwear and bra to change in the bathroom." Zancrow said mocking.

Lucy took one book from the shelf and threw it in the direction of Zancrow. Zancrow jumped back to avoid the deadly assault. But his movement made the towel shifted downwards threatening to fall down.

"Don't walk around naked like that!" Lucy shouted, blushing.

"Hmm? But you see me practically half-naked everyday since from the Tenroujima." He pointed out at his clothing before walking back to his previous destination.

Well yeah, but you also wore pants not a skirt that can fall off any time and exposes more of your navel. Lucy thought and continued to blush as her mind was burned with the image earlier.

All I can say is sorry. But I'm stucked on KnB and most probably would update rarely even though I've promised to update fast once PMR ended but...well I'm going through the stack of Kuroko romance fanfiction (there's about 1.1 K) and I've only started on the 10th pages out of 43 amongst the archive...sorry *bows a 90 degree bow*
