~Something About Us~

On his way to school he begins to think of his terrible nightmare and of what Izanagi had said.

" Now you know of how i suffered Naruto." " She heard you say that you did not know of my suffering. " " Your mother did not die how your father says. " " You must learn and confront Minato. "

( Learn & Confront Dad. ) Naruto thought.

Just at that moment he thought of his mom and how his dad told him how she had died.

" See my son, sometimes people aren't happy with how life turned out and they go away to a place far away. Mommy wasn't happy with how she was living her life and she went away. " Minato said comforting Naruto as a child.

" Is mommy ever coming back? " Naruto asked.

" I don't know, but she left you this letter so every time you want to talk to mommy you can just read this letter. " Minato said handing Naruto the letter his mother wrote for him.

" That's it though, how could she write me a letter if she didn't die like how he said? " Naruto questioned himself.

He dismissed his thoughts for now and continued to walk down the street. A few blocks away from his house he realized he went the wrong way and turned around to go back when he noticed someone had been following him. He starts to walk towards the person following him, but at that moment the person turned into an ally. Naruto runs to the entrance to the ally and peeks around the corner. He sees nothing but darkness, dumpsters and a light from the exit of the ally. He turns away from the ally and heads back on his normal route. On his way to school he stops at Sakura's house, he walks up her porch steps and goes to knock on the door until he hears yelling. He can't make out the words but all he hears is different voices yelling and items being thrown around. He turns his back to the door and begins to walk away towards his route to school. On his way to school he can feel like he's being watched from behind so he begins to walk faster. Naruto comes to a corner of a building and hides behind a trash can to see who has been following him. The person comes around the corner and Naruto sprints at them and tackles the person.

" Why are you following me!? " Naruto yells while tackling the person following him. " Hinata? " he says as he looks at the girl he is on top of who is staring at him in his eyes. Naruto & Hinata's faces both get red and Naruto gets off her quickly and helps her up off of the ground. They dust themselves off and look at each other embarrassingly. Naruto clears his throat and begins to speak:

" Sorry about that, are you alright? " he asks Hinata as he is checking her out. Hinata is just standing there in shock and unable to speak a word. Naruto grabs her by the hand and begins to walk towards his house.

" C'mon Hinata, let's make sure you're alright. " Naruto says in assurance to her and himself.

" O-Okay. " She finally says agreeing with him and following his lead. A few minutes later they arrive at Naruto's house. While walking up the walkway Naruto notice's Minato's car is gone.

( It's for the best. ) Naruto thinks to himself as he opens the front door and brings Hinata inside. Naruto then looks at Hinata and looks her up and down.

" Do you feel pain anywhere? " He says unsure.

" N-No, I think i'm fine. " She says to calm him down. Naruto closes his eyes to calm himself down. The expression on his face slowly changes from worried to relaxed.

" That's good. I'm glad you're not hurt. Here, follow me. " He says as he walks up the stairs and she follows him. They enter Naruto's room as Naruto jumps and lands on his bed. Hinata walks in slowly and heads towards his desk chair and sits down. Naruto folds his arms behind his head while looking at the ceiling.

" Hinata, I've got to tell you something but you have to promise not to tell anyone. Promise? " He says as he looks at her. She nods her head in agreement and Naruto starts. " Well i'm sure you know that my family is like no other. My dad is crazy and I don't have a mother anymore. I feel like there's something different though, y'know? " He sits up and hangs his feet over the bed looking at Hinata in her eyes. " I've been having these dreams, where it's like i'm alive but i'm not. I mean it as in i'm having conversations with people and I can feel emotions and every time I have this dream it's like I never left. However, when I wake up I can only remember certain things from the dream. Has that ever happened to you? " Naruto says curiously.

" No. " Hinata replies.

" So I am going crazy. " Naruto surely says. Hinata looks at him sadly and walks over to him, grabs his shoulders and looks into his eyes.

" You're not going crazy Naruto, I believe you, But what can we do about it? " Hinata says sternly. Naruto looks into Hinata's eyes and can tell she is telling the truth.

" Well right now all we can do is wait. " Naruto says.

" Then let's wait. " Hinata answers. Naruto nods his head to agree with her. He gets up from the bed grabs her hand and begins to walk out of his room. They get downstairs and as Naruto is about to open the door until he suddenly turns to Hinata and kisses her quickly and says " Thanks for being here with me. "

Then he opens the door and heads to school with her.
