~The Loss~
Minato walks to Naruto and puts his right hand on Naruto's shoulder. Naruto and Minato look at each other for a few seconds before being interrupted.
" I'm glad we are all here but we have a job to do. " Yu says.
Naruto nods his head as he grabs Hinata's hand and they follow the group. Everyone comes upon a castle with the entrance open. Yu calls for everyone to huddle.
" Okay team, this is a little different than the usual things we fight. " Yu Says.
" What're we dealing with then? " Naruto says.
" Well, We're technically dealing with a Boss if you will. " Yu says.
" A boss.. " Naruto contemplates. " Let's go get him then. "
Minato scoffs and Naruto glares at him.
" You got something to say?! " Naruto yells.
Minato closes his eyes and slips on a full face mask with weird symbols on them. Then he pulls out four kunai from his sleeve.
" I'll see you inside. " Minato says as he vanishes.
Naruto standing there stunned turns to the remaining party.
" I hope you're okay with this Naruto." Yu says putting his hand on Naruto's shoulder.
" We'll see..." Naruto says as he heads into the castle with Hinata.
After clearing out a few floors of shadows, everyone assembles in front of two huge wooden doors.
" Everyone ready? " Yu asks before they enter.
Everyone glances at each other then back to Yu. Nodding his head Yu throws open the doors. Upon entering the room there is a giant blood splatter in the middle of the floor. Minato sitting in a royal looking chair slightly waves towards everyone.
" WELCOME! " Minato shouts.
Naruto turns to walk away but as he turns around Minato appears behind him and throws him to the ground.
" What the hell!? " Naruto shouts.
" Get up. " Minato says as he points his weapon at Naruto.
" Hey now.." Yosuke goes to say something but is stopped by Yu's hand on his stomach.
Naruto looks to the party and is hit with a powerful kick by Minato that makes him slide across the floor. Hinata flinches in disgust.
" Get up. " Minato says again.
Naruto grabs his ribs and slowly stands up. Minato shifts his stance. He starts running to Naruto and slips behind him and slices him across the back. Naruto turns and swings behind him but misses Minato and is dealt a severe kick to the stomach. Naruto falls. Minato standing over Naruto lifts his leg into the air but is suddenly flung through the wall with an unknown force. Hinata is standing with her arms extended. Minato stands and steps through the hole he created. He smiles and then disappears but reappears behind Hinata and suddenly disappears again with Hinata.
Standing up Naruto looks to everyone " Where did they go? "
" I'll look. " Rise says calling her persona.
" Why did you just stand there?! " Naruto shouts at Yu
" It wasn't my fight to fight. " Yu says.
" We're friends! All of your fights are my fights, I thought it was the same for mine! " Naruto shouts.
" Friends huh? " Yu says walking to Naruto.
" Then lets go find your girlfriend. " Yu says handing Naruto a potion.
" I can't sense them anywhere. " Rise says.
" That's not good. Teddy, you try. " Yu says.
" You got it Sensei! " shouts Teddy.
" Why, out of no where did he attack me? " Naruto whispers to himself.
" Yu! " Kanji shouts motioning Yu to him next to the window.
" The girl is on the ground. " Kanji shouts.
Naruto starts running to the window. Hinata is lying on the ground just as Kanji said.
" Let's go! " Yu says running to the exit with everyone.
Reaching the entrance they find Hinata passed out. Naruto runs to her and cradles her in his arms. Hinata starts coming to when Naruto touches her.
" Teddy, we need an exit now. " Shouts Yu.
" On it. " Shouts Teddy as he summons a portal.
"Naruto." Hinata says softly as he picks her up in his arms.
" It's okay, I'm here. " Naruto says as he walks to the portal.
" Okay. " Hinata says as she falls back unconscious.
Just before walking into the portal Naruto looks to everyone and says " Kill him. "
" You got it. " Kanji says.
Naruto walks into the portal and disappears.
" Where do we start? " Yosuke says to Yu.
" We don't. " Yu says.
Everyone looks at Yu questionably.
" But why? " Chie says.
" I told him to attack Naruto before we introduced them. " Yu says.
" Why and why were we kept in the dark about it? " Naoto asks.
" Hinata showed us that she has power unknown to us that she wasn't showing before. I knew if we put Naruto in danger she'd come to his aid. I didn't tell you all because it needed to seem genuine. " Yu says pacing.
" Minato let loose on Naruto though. " Yukiko says.
" That's what I'm worried about. I specifically said go easy on him. I'm not sure 100% but In his mind he was going easy." Says Yu putting his hand on his chin.
" If that's the truth, then we are in more danger than we realized. " Yosuke says.
" No doubt about it, our paths will cross again and Naruto will know that he is not dead. For now however we must return in a few hours and tell him it is done. " Yu says.
Everyone nods in agreement and they leave the castles entrance.
In the real world, Naruto is in the hospital next to Hinata's side who is now in a hospital bed resting. In the room across the hall he hears sobbing. He walks to the entrance and sees Lee next to Guy's bed.
" Lee, is everything okay? " Naruto says softly.
Lee looks to Naruto wiping his eyes " No Naruto, everything is not fine. "
" What's wrong? " Naruto asks.
" When the doctors were digging the bullet out of Guy's stomach, they noticed something... wrong." Lee says with his head down.
" What do you mean? " Naruto says worried.
" Guy had internal bleeding and is slowly dying right now. " Lee says.
" Oh my god. " Naruto says patting Lee's back.
" It's not looking good but the doctor says theres a risky 26% chance of success surgery he can go under. " Lee says.
" And? " Naruto says.
" We're doing it. " Lee says.
" I don't think that's a good idea Lee. 26% is not high. " Naruto says.
" What else is there Naruto!? You'd do it for Hinata! " Lee yells as he leaves the room.
( He's right. God dammit Lee I hope you know what you're doing.) Naruto thinks to him self heading back into Hinata's room. He holds her hand in his and falls asleep.
