Konohagakure. Friday afternoon. Today, Anko decided she was going to get some answers out of Aoi. She'd already had her hearing survive what should have been instant deafness, so what's the worst that could happen? Well, a lot, I guess. Since the fact remained that Anko still really didn't know who or what this kid was. But getting distracted from her studies wasn't helping Anko, nor was she getting much information from the kid. Time to be direct. Being direct is good. Being indirect was getting Anko nowhere, so why not? As soon as Anko found Aoi, she was going to start asking the big questions.

Target spotted. Anko was going in... time for this interrogation to begin.

"Who are you?" Anko said with force. Okay. Maybe too much force. Actually, that sounded scripted and really poorly delivered. D'oh!

Aoi teared up. Here is comes...

"...you forgot me?" Aoi said with a surprisingly soft voice.

"No! How could I forget you? Stupid, annoying, permanently imprinted on my brain..." Anko slowed her rant as she saw Aoi's eyes light up with pride. Wait, this isn't how this interrogation should be going. "You never told me anything to begin with! What's your full name? Where do you live? Why do you come here every day? Aren't your parents worried about you associating with an unknown and powerful ninja who could possibly be the enemy?" Okay, Anko may have been tooting her own horn at the end a bit, but not bad. If someone won't even tell you fake info for general stats, they're clearly the enemy and not just some stupid kid.

Aoi was still uncharacteristically quiet. She held her chin and regarded the ground for a moment and thought. Ha. Do you really think you can come up with something on the fly and be so obvious about it?

"Well..." Aoi began, "I can say the same to you, no?"

It was the most intelligent thing Anko had heard from Aoi to date. The young ninja just stood there with her mouth open, void of a response.
