The Kiss

August 12th, 2013

Sacramento, California.

"I mean does she not see how unbelievably desperate she looks," Nikki questioned with a look of disgust upon her face as she and Skye briskly walked on the treadmill at a gym not too far from their hotel.

Skye sent her a look, "What are you talking about?"

"Summer," she responded as she motioned in the blonde's direction.

Skye glanced that way and snorted when she found the newbie diva pretty much flaunting the goods as she flirted with Dolph Ziggler.

"This sudden interest in Summer's desperate attempts to land every male superstar on the roster wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that it's your ex that she's making doe eyes at?"

"Of course not," Nikki insisted. "Nick and I ended things on good terms. Plus, I'm insanely happy with John." Her eyes zeroed in on Summer and Dolph again. "I just don't like her for some reason."

Shaking her head, Skye kept up her pace on the exercise equipment and tried to keep her focus off of the blonde who she frankly did not get along with. Ever since that moment in the gym nearly three years ago in Tampa when she was visiting Joe, Summer had been anything but friendly toward Skye.

Not that the other woman wanted to be the blonde's friend especially not after what the bitch did back in Joe's FCW days while she and he had begun dating.

It had been a promo that he would be cutting which involved Summer, the acting GM of FCW at the time, and it mostly entailed a simple, but flirty kiss on the cheek from the blonde.

Apparently, the blonde decided to change it up a bit and lay a kiss full on Joe's lips. When Joe had told her about it that night, Skye had been livid beyond words not to mention hurt. Though the latter feeling only lasted for a short time when Joe assured her that kiss had been completely one-sided and not reciprocated at all on his part.

That didn't help ease her anger towards Summer, but she had to find a way to get through it without killing the other woman.

Even a year later, Skye was still beyond pissed at the woman. Sure, she understood that Joe was a very attractive man, but he was taken plain and simple. Apparently, that didn't matter the leggy blonde.

Shaking her head, Skye sighed and tried to find something else to look at instead of the scene that had Nikki so very focused.

As she gazed over at the doorway, her face brightened when Joe walked in with Colby. Now that's more like it. His eyes sought hers and he nodded in her direction and dropped his stuff off at some nearby dumbbells before making his way over. "Hey sexy," she greeted as his eyes moved up and down her form as she walked at a steady pace.

"Looking good, babe," he commented, appreciatively. "Been here long?"

"Almost an hour," she answered, nodding toward Nikki. "She's more interested in watching Summer and Dolph than working out."

Nikki scoffed as she dabbed her face with her towel and snapping in Skye's direction. "Am not!" She stopped her machine. "I'm in the mood for some smoothies, what do you say, Skye?"

"I can never pass up a strawberry-banana smoothie," Skye declared, hitting the stop button and hopping off her own machine. Granted, she didn't need much convincing to stop the work-out. Besides, with Joe here, she'd probably get distracted anyway watching his fine ass lifting weights and getting all sweaty.

Closing the distance between them, she grabbed at Joe's charcoal grey tank, pulling toward her. "Can I get anything for you, big guy?"

"I'll just have some of yours," he responded, dropping a kiss down on her lips. "Need money?"

She shook her head, "Nah I got it, thanks." As they pulled away from each other, she swatted his ass, "I won't be long."

"Better not," he murmured. "I'll need some inspiration to get through this work out."

"Oh my god," Nikki deadpanned. "You guys are so sickeningly adorable I may puke."

Skye snorted and addressed her boyfriend, "We'll be back." After kissing him on the cheek, the two women headed for the door. Skye paused momentarily when they passed Colby, "Hey, Col, you want anything from the smoothie place next door?"

"Nah, I'm good thanks," he answered as Joe joined him to grab a dumbbell.

As the two women exited the gym, a certain blonde grew tired of flirting with the Show Off and had her eyes set on certain someone nearby. She smirked.

About fifteen minutes later with their smoothies in hand, Skye and Nikki re-entered the gym and Skye paused mid-way through where she had left Joe and Colby working out.

"What's the matter," Nikki questioned, curiously and let her eyes follow her friend's gaze. "Oh. Wow, she truly knows no bounds does she?"

Skye said nothing and just stared as Summer rubbed her hands along Joe's bicep, obviously admiring his sleeve tattoo with great interest and seductive eyes.

Colby must have seen Skye and Nikki standing not so far away for he elbowed his friend, who looked up and jerked his arm from Summer's hold as his eyes locked on Skye's.

Instead of walking away and getting pissed from just watching the scene, Skye calmly handed over drink to her friend then charged forward and got all up in Summer's face causing the other woman to yelp at the intrusion. "Dolph not enough for you this afternoon, Summer? What the hell do you think that you're doing?"

The other woman gathered her courage, "We were just talking."

"Nope," Skye disagreed. "It looked like you had your hand up all over my man. I don't have problems with other women just talking to my boyfriend. No, I have problems with women like you who can't keep their hands off of men who are taken. You understand that word, right Summer?" With a tight smile, she continued, "Let me define it for you – that man over there is mine."

Summer scoffed, "God get a grip, Skye."

"Skyler," she corrected. "Only friends get to call me Skye and I have a very good grip on things, hon, or else you wouldn't still be standing."

"Is that so," Summer challenged shoving the sandy-haired woman away.

"Oh shit," Colby muttered just as Skye launched herself at the blonde only be held back by Joe who had his arms wrapped around her waist.

"Just leave, Summer," Joe ordered, lifting Skye off the ground and turning her away from the other woman.

Summer tossed her hair over her shoulder, "Whatever."

"If you wanna keep that fake hair of yours, you better stay the fuck away from him," Skye declared angrily thrashing at the woman.

"I'd believe her if I were you," Nikki put in. "Just walk away, Summer, if you know what's good for you."

Summer rolled her blue eyes, "Fine. Good luck with the psycho, Joe." She turned and sauntered out of the gym bypassing the spectators.

When she was gone, Joe loosened his hold on his girlfriend and sighed, "You okay?"

Still glaring at the exit, she nodded firmly. "The nerve of that woman! What is her fascination with you?"

Joe sighed, "Don't know, babe. I'm sorry you had to see that. I didn't want..."

"I know," she interjected, her eyes softening.

"Lord," Colby laughed. "Don't mess with Skye's man."

"She'll whoop your ass," Nikki agreed, handing her friend back her smoothie. "Way to stake claim on what's yours." She patted her friend on the shoulder and soon she and Colby left the couple alone.

"Are you sure that you're okay," Joe asked her again.

She nodded, "Yes, I'm fine. I just...I don't like her touching you like that – I wanted to rip her arm out of its socket and beat the living shit out of her with it." When he smirked, she questioned, "What?"

"I didn't realize you were this possessive," he teased. "I thought that was my job."

"What," she asked, cracking a smile. "I can't protect what's mine."

"Hmm," he groaned, pulling body against his. "Say that again."

She licked her lips and leaned upward so that her lips were next to his ear. "You're mine, Anoa'i."

"In every way possible," he concluded as his hands clutched her hips.

"You know," Nikki called out, gaining their attention. "I'm sure there's an empty closet somewhere if you two want to go and take care of business."

While Colby chuckled at brunette's side, Skye blushed and buried her face in her man's chest.

"Tempting," she heard her boyfriend tell the Bella twin. He rubbed his hands up and down her back.

She pulled away finally and smiled at him, "I'll let you continue your workout."

"And what will you be doing in the meantime," he asked with a knowing gaze.

"I'll be sitting over there watching my sexy Samoan get all hot and sweaty."

He narrowed his eyes at her obviously thinking in his mind how he'd rather get hot and sweaty with her pressed against a wall somewhere secluded while he pounded into her.

Seeing the change in his demeanor, Skye questioned teasingly, "And what are you thinking about?"

His eyes darkened and he licked his lips, "Guess."

"Maybe if we have time before we head off to the arena..."

"We'll make the time," he declared. "Now go find you a seat before I have you right here in front of everyone."

"Naughty boy," she remarked with playful eyes. However, she does as she's told knowing fully well that his grey-contact eyes were watching her walk away.

As she took a seat beside her friend, Nikki laughed, "I swear you two are like rabbits."

"Can you blame me," Skye questioned with a chuckle. "He basically has to look at me and my body is like," she throws her back against the chair and all her appendages slacken, "Take me now...I'm ready." As she sat up more in her chair, her friend shook her head. She elbowed Nikki. "Don't act like you and Super Cena aren't the same way!"

"I can argue with you there," Nikki affirmed, nodding her head. "So, diverting this topic from sex, how does it feel to finally be all moved in to that home of yours?"

"Fantastic," Skye sighed. "We unpacked the last box this past weekend." Her mind immediately went to thinking about how they kept their promise of breaking in that glorious tub the moment everything was in its rightful place.

"Oh god," Nikki muttered causing Skye to blink. "You're thinking about sex again, aren't you?"

"You brought up the topic of our house," she accused, playfully. Shaking her head, she replied. "Back on topic, the fact that we're finally moved in is great. You should come out and see the place if you can tear yourself away from Cena's luxurious digs in Tampa."

"Sure, we'll try and get the girls together."

"Sounds like a plan," Sky responded, her eyes moving back over to where Joe was still doing curls. Their eyes locked in the mirror in front of him and they held the other's gaze.

Monday Night Raw

As she walked backstage, Skye was trying to get cooled off after her exhausting segment with her brother, Paul, and Brock. She had to smile at how amazing it had been. It had finished the show!

Reaching up, she rid herself of her fake Wolverine-esque sideburns as her mind reviewed what had occurred.

It started with a match being set to main event Raw between Punk and Paul Heyman. Of course the former manager would have a back-up plan and of course it would include the Beast. It had been a trap orchestrated by none other than Brock himself.

So, as the older man stood in the middle of the ring guarded by Lesnar, he beckoned Punk out to play the hero for the WWE universe and receive the same kind beating that he had endured the past few weeks at the hand of the larger wrestler.

When the chord of Cult of Personality hit, a figure stepped out onto the stage with a kendo stick in and face covered by a CM Punk hoodie. As he paused at the top of the ramp, dressed in shorts, wrestling boots, and wrists taped, the figure was completely still. Punk was obviously accepting the challenge in the eyes of the crowd who roared from their seats.

Punk held his hands up as his head rose. Swiftly, the hood was pulled back revealing not CM Punk, but Skyler Grace clad in his gear. Her face transformed to look like her brother with the sideburns and everything. She grinned wickedly as she cupped her hands up around her mouth and hollered, "IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!"

Not paying attention, her brother came up behind Brock with a WWE camera in hand and attacked him much to the astonishment of Heyman who quickly tried to vacate the ring and escape, but was stopped by Skyler who waved the kendo stick in his direction.

When Brock's body rolled out of the ring which was followed by Punk diving through the middle ropes sending the other wrester to the ground, Paul hurriedly entered the ring to avoid the onslaught.

Punk returned to Brock's pained form with a steel chair in hand. He sent a glance over at his sister and received an encouraging look before he began pounding the back of the Beast.

After two very harsh licks with the chair, he eyed his sister and handed the chair over.

With a sneer, she stared down at the man who had F-5ed her weeks ago taking her out of commission with a concussion and began attacking him with the chair.

Once the chair was good and bent from not only Punk's attacks, but hers as well, she tossed it away with a growl and then joined her brother as he set his eyes on Paul Heyman who realized he was in some deep you-know-what. As Punk tracked the man's movement on one side the ring, Skyler took position on the other only giving the former manager two possible escapes – the commentator's side where he would only be able to get away through the crowd that hated him or the side where his client laid in a world of pain to try and escape up the ramp.

Either way there was going to be a sibling there to try and grab him. Heyman decided upon exiting toward the ramp just as Punk entered the ring.

Punk followed him up the ramp with a chair in hand, Skyler lagging back. She swiped up the kendo stick ready use it if Brock returned to his feet.

Suddenly Curtis Axel had appeared from backstage and stopped Punk from advancing toward Paul again.

After quickly unloading and taking care of Axel and Heyman getting away, Skyler joined her brother atop the stage staring down at Brock who had pulled himself to sit up to stare at the two of them.

Punk held his arms up in challenge before pulling his sister to his side and placing a kiss to her temple.

They had won this round.

She was still on cloud nine from the segment as she passed a hallway where a voice called out to her.

"Skye, over here," it called.

With a slight cringe, she turned to peer into the hallway finding Randy lounging a top a large, black box labeled WIRES with his phone in hand and clad in one of his t-shirts, wrestling trunks, and boots.

With a sigh, she questioned, "What Randy?"

"Come here," he requested, motioning with his phone. "I have a few pictures of Alanna that I wanted to show you."

After thinking that there was no harm in looking at some pictures of his little girl, she walked forward. "Okay," she responded, reaching for the phone.

"Have a seat," he instructed, patting the spot right next to him.

She eyed him suspiciously as she answered, "I'm fine standing. Thank you."

"Come on," he chuckled. "I'm not going to bite."

"Fine," she stated tightly and pulled herself up to sit atop the box, trying to put as much space between them as she could, but it was nearly impossible due to his size. "Okay, let's see them."

He held up the phone, but doesn't hand it over for her to hold, and keeps in his grip as it displayed a picture of Randy's little girl's face.

Slowly, she felt the tension living her body as her mind was currently occupied by the adorable face. "Aw," she remarked and he scrolled the next picture. "She's really growing up. How old is she now?"

"Five," he answered with a huge grin. "Unbelievable, right?"

"Yeah," she agreed simply as her eyes tried to focus on the pictures on his phone and not his body scooting closer. "I still haven't gotten over the fact that you have a kid."

"It sucks, though. Not seeing her as much. She's growing up so damn fast, you know?"

"Kids tend to do that," she replied, not meeting his gaze.

"I hate that Sam and I couldn't work it out for Lanna's sake, but it wasn't fair to Samantha or her if we stayed together."

"It probably wasn't wise to cheat," Skye pointed out. "Hopefully, you've finally learned your lesson."

"I've made mistakes," he started for which she rolled her eyes muttering understatement of the year.

"I wouldn't disagree," she stated firmly, hopping from the box when things started to feel a bit awkward.

He slid off the box and stepped in front of her, blocking her path. "Look, I know that I hurt you a lot. It was more than just the cheating, it was the humiliation that the bestowed onto you and I want to make amends with that, Skye. I have to make you see how sorry I am that I treated you that way."

Shaking her head, she swallowed, "Randy that's the past..."

"Yeah and I've had a really hard time letting the past go lately," he admitted, running his hands over his shaved head. "I mean we had a good thing going with us, right?" He doesn't allow her to answer. "I mean, shit, you were an amazing girlfriend. You made me happy."

"So did your wife," she pointed out. "Obviously neither one of us made you happy enough."

He shook head quickly, "No, I mean, yeah I loved Sam because she gave me a beautiful daughter, but things didn't work out because of you."

Skye eyes narrowed and went to respond, but he continued cutting her attempts off.

"Look, I wouldn't wish away Alanna for anything in this world, but this," he motioned at his phone at the pictures on his phone. "Should have been us, Skye."

"But it's not," she spoke up firmly.

"It should have been," he repeated just as determined. "If I hadn't had screwed up – we would have gotten married. We would have had a beautiful family. That's why I ended things with Sam. I loved her, yes. I cheated on her, yes. However, I did all that because of you. I couldn't stop thinking about you." He took a few steps toward her, eliminating the space between them. "Did you know that I almost called you – the night before my wedding?" Slowly, Skye shook her head, shocked at his revelation. "I almost called off my wedding because of you. I can't stop thinking about you, Skye, I just can't."

"Randy," she began trying to make him see some kind of reasoning here, but abruptly halted when he grabbed her by the waist pulling her body his and silencing her with his lips.

Her mind went completely blank the moment his lips pressed against hers. The move had stunned her to the point that her body was frozen in place.

Suddenly, her brain realized just what was going on and she quickly jerked from his hold and threw herself backward into some empty racks from the wardrobe department nearly tripping. "What the fuck were you thinking," she exclaimed, rubbing her lips and staring at him wide-eyed.

He only smirked, "It's still there, isn't it? That spark we had, we still have. Come on, admit it." He took a step forward and she quickly dodged his attempts to get closer and to repeat his previous actions, pointing at him in warning with deathly glare.

"So, help me, if you even think about doing that again," she threatened. "What the hell?! How dare you! I have a boyfriend! You have a – whatever the hell she is." She raked her fingers through her hair. "I can't believe you did that."

"I had to," he persisted, calmly. "We're meant to be together, Skye, don't you see? I made a mistake letting you go. That's why my marriage ended! I'm still in love with you!"

"Well, tough shit because it's not returned," she threw back. "I love Joe. You had your time and you blew it, so get over it." She rushed past him and back down the hall.

As she weaved her way through superstars, divas, and various crew members to the Diva's locker room, her mind was racing.

Glancing backward, she tried to see if Randy was trying to follow her, but found herself relieved when she didn't his tall ass anywhere in sight.

She felt herself really freaking out over what just happened – her ex-boyfriend had just kissed and professed his love of her.

"What the fuck," she breathed, not believing all of that had occurred. She turned around and slammed into a hard body.

Hands steadied her as she jumped back afraid that Randy had somehow caught up to her, but found herself settling down when it was Joe that she had run into.

"Jeez, Skye," he laughed. "You really need to watch where you're going before you hurt yourself."

"Yeah, right," she said with an uneasy smile, her heart bounding nearly out of her chest.

He eyed her closely, "You okay?"

"I'm fine," she swallowed. "I just, uh, well I'm just tired after my match is all. Where's the other two?"

"Already getting into position for our dark match with Show, Bryan, and Henry," he informed her, still watching her with scrutinizing eyes. "You look flustered. Are you sure that you're okay?"

Quickly, she nodded, "Absolutely."

He grinned, "Okay, well, I better head over and meet the guys. You'll be watching?" When she nodded again, he cupped her face and placed a soft kiss to her lips. "I love you."

As tears stung the back of her eyes, she whispered, "I love you, too." Soon he was back on his way, her gaze never leaving his form until he was out of sight.

She slowly felt her body losing the battle with itself and she hurried off to the diva's locker room, hoping that no one would be present.

When she saw the twins and Trinity sitting on the bench chatting, the trio glanced her way and she darted past them to the bathroom.

"Skye," Brie called out after her.

Skye doesn't listen just enters the bathroom and walked over to the sink. Turning on the faucet, she splashed some water onto her face. The coolness seemed to ease her a moment, but the images of Randy kissing her kept flooding her mind and she found herself dropping to the floor in a daze as tears filled her eyes.

"Skye," came tentatively from the doorway. The voice belonged to Nikki, who cautiously entered the bathroom with Brie and Trinity following in her footsteps. "What's wrong?"

She stared up at them with tears now streaming down her cheeks, "I..."

"Sweetie," Brie whispered soothingly before Skye released a sob, breaking down.

After showering and getting dressed, Joe walked into the nearly empty locker room which just consisted of himself, Jon, and Colby. Everyone else had pretty much departed to the next arena minus the six and a few others who had just participated in the dark match after the live show.

"About time," Jon commented, jokingly. "I was beginning to grow old out here."

"Screw you," Joe stated, good-naturedly as he reached for his phone in his duffle bag. He checked it to see if he had any messages from Skye or his family, but only found notifications from Twitter with his name in the tag.

With curious eyes, he opened the app and found his handle name and Skye's twitter name attached to a message from some kim_taylor.

Watch out WWERomanReigns looks like your girl WWESkylerGrace wants my man back. I'm heartbroken. What a bitch! No proof needed.

Puzzled by the message, he didn't recognize the name of the woman, but saw there was a picture and clicked on picture to make it bigger.

When the picture filled his screen, his heart seemed to fall from his chest as he saw Randy Orton with his arms around his girlfriend and their lips locked.

Swallowing the huge lump in his throat, he tried to process it all and found himself unable to do so. His girlfriend kissed another man and not just any man, but Randy-fucking-Orton! The picture had obviously been taken tonight because his girlfriend was still clad in her brother's duplicate gear.

"Dude," Colby spoke up, causing Joe's eyes to pry from his phone. "You ready to head off?"

With some sense of calmness, Joe pocketed the phone and nodded, "Yeah, let's go."

The three headed out and bypassed the divas locker room with Joe barely giving a second look.

"Yo, aren't we going to wait on your girl," Jon asked from behind the Samoan as Joe kept walking.

"Change of plans," Joe simply stated as he kept his anger at bay. "She's not riding with us."

Jon shot Colby a confused look. "Since when," Colby asked.

"Look, she's getting a ride with someone else," Joe shot back over his shoulder. "Let's go."

"Okay, big guy, chill," Jon laughed and the trio continued toward the exit.

Dressed in a jogging suit, Skye exited through the backdoor of the arena with her rolling suitcase rolling behind her and her other bags draped over her shoulder. After not seeing the guys outside the locker room where they usually waited for her, she determined that they were probably outside.

Her eyes peered around the almost empty parking lot, looking for the guys. When her eyes didn't locate their rental, she stood dumbfounded near a WWE semi. Where are they?

Fishing out her phone, she dialed Joe's number and pressed it to her ear.

Hey, this is Joe. You know what to do?

"Hey, babe, uh where are you guys? Call me." She hung up and tried Jon's phone next, but found it went straight to voice mail and didn't even ring which wasn't too uncommon considering how little he used the thing.

With Colby being the only other option, she scrolled through her contacts and found his number. With the phone to her ear, the other line rang a couple of times before he picked up, "Uh, hey, Skye. What's up?"

"Nothing other than me being completely confused - where are you," she asked.

"We're just now getting on the interstate," he answered which caused her to raise a brow in surprise.

"Did you guys forget something," she questioned incredulously.

"No, I don't think so, why?"

She let out a slight chuckle. "What about me? Did I get voted out of the car or something and wasn't notified?"

"What," Colby questioned obviously confused. "Your boy said you were riding with someone else." Then he spoke in the background to someone. "Skye's still at the arena without a ride."

"Hang up the phone," the deep, rumbling voice of her boyfriend ordered his friend.

"What, why," Colby asked immediately.

"Colby, let me talk to him," Skye jumped in.

"Talk to her," Colby told Joe.

"I don't want to fucking talk to her."

Skye swallowed when she heard that response.

"Man, what the hell is going on," Jon asked, obviously bewildered. "Do I need to turn around or what?"

"Leave her there for all I care," Joe spat.

"Take the phone," Colby ordered before Skye finally heard the shuffling of the phone changing hands.

"Joe," she questioned, uneasily.

"Check your fucking twitter," he instructed, harshly before the call ended.

The hand holding her phone dropped to her side as soon as she heard nothing more from her boyfriend. He was angry very angry.

Yeah, the guy had a temper on him, but he never directed it toward her – ever. In fact, she was the one who raised her voice in anger whenever they argued.

His instructions were for her to check her twitter, but for what purpose? Her heart was filled with dread as she did so. After scrolling through some tweets, she sucked in a breath when she found the tweet from Randy's so-called girlfriend.

As her eyes took in the picture of her and her ex locked into a kiss, she realized that not only the world knew what had happened, but Joe knew as well since his name had been attached along with her own.

"Fuck," she cried as she dropped down onto her up-right suitcase and stared out, bleary eyed out at the nearly vacant parking lot.

After sitting there with tears streaming down her cheeks, she finally brought her phone back up to call Phil.

"Hello," he answered after the third ring.

Swallowing, she cleared her throat. "Hey, it's me. Um, how far away are you?"

"Uh...about twenty minutes out, why?"

"I need a ride," she stated weakly.

"Where's lover boy," her brother laughed.

"Phil," she croaked out. "Please just come get me."

"I'm coming," he told her, immediately. "Just stay on the phone, okay?"

"Okay," she sniffed.

Nearly twenty minutes later, Phil's bus pulled into the parking lot and drove the short distance to where she was sitting, clutching her phone which she just clicked off with her arms wrapped around herself.

When it was parked, the door opened and Phil's form exited and jogged over to where she was and pulled her to up into a hug. "What'd that fucker do?" He had hoped that she would have explained over the phone, but instead he had to hear his little sister crying on the other end while he kept assuring her that things were going to be alright.

"I just want to get on the bus," she finally pleaded as she pulled from the embrace, reaching for her bags. He quickly grabbed them then ushered her into the bus.

Once the large vehicle was on the road, Phil stared at her expectantly and she merely uttered, "Check twitter. I'm sure the fans are having a field day."

"Why," he asked, gently.

"Just check it," she replied as she pulled her legs up in her seat and hugged them.

From his place at the make-shift kitchen table, he reached for his phone and did was she requested. With eyes casted away from where her brother sat, she heard him curse, "What the hell, Skye...?"

"I didn't want it to happen," she sobbed urgently. "He kissed me! I didn't want him to and that bitch girlfriend of his posted a damn photo of it and now Joe is completely pissed and won't talk to me!"

Phil joined her on the couch and wrapped his arm around her. "Give him time to deal with all of this. We have more pressing matters to deal with like the repercussions of all of this being made public."

She groaned into his chest, "God, Mark is going to kill me."

"Forget Mark. I want you to go and lie down in my bedroom and I will handle this."

"What are you going to do," she croaked as she climbed to her feet.

"Don't worry about it," he reassured her and guided her toward his bedroom.

Slowly, she walked back there and closed the door behind her. On the other side of the door, she could hear her brother pacing and before long she heard his sharp voice.

"You son of a bitch," he accused, loudly. "How dare you mess with her head like that, Orton, huh? Yeah well you really fucked up. Tell that bitch of yours to take that fucking picture down NOW. Oh yeah? We're traveling on Interstate 80 heading toward San Jose – name a place and time and I'll gladly meet you and beat your ass! Get her to fucking take down that photo or so help me your ass will be mine, motherfucker."

Skye sat down on the edge of the bed as Phil continued his heated conversation with Randy.

Her mind could no longer focus on her brother's angry words aimed at her ex. Instead her mind was on Joe who had obviously seen the photo and how hurt he must have felt when he saw it.

A new batch of tears fell from her eyes again and she fell back onto the mattress, curling into a ball and she cried into a pillow.

"I don't believe it," Colby uttered after closing his twitter and staring toward the passenger seat from his position in the back at his Samoan friend.

"Well, believe it," Joe grumbled.

"Are you sure that kiss was even mutual," the two-toned haired man asked still not wanting to believe that Skye, sweet and loving Skye, would betray his friend like this especially with that jerk Orton.

"Doesn't fucking matter," Joe threw back. "She fucking let it happen."

"You should talk to her," Colby advised. "Let her explain herself."

"Why the hell should he do that," Jon questioned sharply from behind the wheel. "She's guilty. The picture is proof of that."

"You don't know what exactly happened," Colby argued for which Jon scoffed.

"I say you hunt Orton down and bury his ass," Jon encouraged Joe. "I'll gladly help you out with that. I know a few guys – you'll totally get away with it."

"I say he should talk to his girlfriend and work this out," Colby rebutted. "The last thing he needs to do is get his ass in trouble with WWE."

"I think the two of you should shut the hell up," Joe ordered, turning his head to glare at the both of them individually. "She fucking kissed someone else. She's probably fucking around with him too."

"You don't know that," Colby argued just as Joe's phone rang again.

The Samoan glanced at the phone in his lap and found Skye's brother's name flashing across the screen. Shaking his head, he dismissed the call and went back to staring out the window again.

Colby's phone began ringing next and it wasn't a surprise when Phil's name appeared on the screen. With a soft sigh, he answered, "Hey man."

"Put that fucker on the phone," Phil growled. "In case the tone confuses you – that wasn't a request."

Swallowing, Colby calmly stated, "Look, Phil, he's not in the mood to really talk about this situation at the present moment."

"I don't fucking care if he's in the mood," Phil spat. "He left my sister deserted in a parking lot and right now she's a fucking mess! So, I'll say it again, put him on the phone, Lopez."

"I can't do that," Colby replied. "Look, he needs some space and when or if he calls her, well, that's up to him." He ended the call before Skye's big brother had a chance to dispute. "Shit this is a fucked up."

From his place in the front, Joe tuned out the rest of the drive and remained staring out the window wishing like hell that this was just some horrible dream.

His eyes closed and all he could see was the image of his girlfriend kissing another man.

It was going to be a long night.

So? What'd you think? I had to cause a bit a drama. It couldn't be happy all of the time. How is Skye going to fix this? Let me know what you think a form of a review please. :)
