Hello! I AM ALIVE! I had the whole summer to write and I did nothing of the sort. I apologize! But good news! I got a new job in the school system, but of course it will take me some time to get adjusted. I'm very excited about it!

Anyway, here is an update. Not a lot is happening in the chapter, but at least it is an update. I hope it's worth it. Please take the time to let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

November 4th, 2013

As much as the two of them hated for the trip to end, Joe and Skye had to return to the real world and rejoin the WWE roster on the road.

They flew out from Turks and Caicos bright and early Monday morning to Greenville, South Carolina for the Monday Night Raw live event.

As they rode in the backseat of the SUV shuttling them to the arena, Skye released a sigh from her position at his side, her head resting against his shoulder. Her left hand was joined with his right one and her eyes fell upon the diamond on her ring finger. She just couldn't help taking her eyes off of it.

"Is it bad that I want to tell the driver to turn around and head back to the airport?"

"Where would we go," he questioned in that deep voice of his, playing along.

"Anywhere," she answered softly which earned her a chuckle from her man.

"Maybe we can plan something for when we have another few days off," he assured.

She snorted, "Those are very few and far between, babe."

"We'll make the time," he told her, firmly. "I promise."

She tilted her head upward to give him a crooked smile. "I guess on the plus side, our onscreen romance will start progressing tonight."

He smiled at that, "Even it if it is just a brief screen time between the two of us – I'm certainly excited to get to see that face of yours on screen as well."

"By putting this ring on my finger, you're already guaranteed a lifetime of looking at this face," she pointed out as her shined brightly into his own.

"Best decision of my life," he replied, placing a kiss to her lips.

When they parted, Skye released a solitary breath, "Ugh, stop, before I say to hell with Raw and tell the driver to turn this vehicle around and take us back to the airport or hell take us to a nearby hotel where I can ravish the hell out of you."

He smirked he lowered his voice, "Well, you know there are plenty of places in the arena for that to happen, babe."

Releasing his hand, she gave him a narrowed eyed look, "Haven't we discussed this?"

"And I still yet to see the big issue," he retorted, with a half shrug as she turned her body to face his.

"There are too many possibilities of us getting caught," she continued, shaking her head.

"C'mon, babe," he coaxed, teasingly. "Live on the wild side a bit."

"I can be wild," she stated, pouting a bit.

"Well, yeah, in the confines of our bedroom," he agreed. "At least consider it." With a wide grin, he nudged her slightly. "You might really get off on it." When she doesn't answer him, he chuckled lightly, "Babe, you know that I'm only messing with you, right? We don't have to do anything that you aren't comfortable with."

She sighed, "I know. I mean don't get me wrong..." She bit her bottom lip, casting her eyes downward before glancing back up to give him a sultry look. "I'm sure it would be quite hot."

"Damn right it would," he asserted, snaking an arm behind her and pulling her back toward him and pressed soft kiss to the area behind her right ear. "Just think," he breathed, secretively into her ear. "Your back pressed against the wall...my arms supporting you. Your legs wrapped around my waist, latched on as bury myself in and out of your hot, wet..."

Suddenly the vehicle they were riding in, came to a sudden stop which caused Skye to gasp in surprise as her eyes glanced around taking in the fact that the two had finally arrived at the arena – much too soon in her opinion.

Her eyes returned to her fiancée who was staring at her sexily and she glared at him in mild annoyance. "You are evil."

"If you don't like it – then find me later and punish me, baby girl." She slapped his chest and slid out of her seat the moment her car door was opened courtesy of the driver.

Laughing, Joe followed suit and joined her at the backend of the SUV to grab their things.

The moment that Joe and Skye had stepped through the doors of the arena, the Bella's and Natalya all rushed toward them yanking Skye away and immediately examining her left hand all of their squeals mingling together.

Joe merely rolled his eyes. Women. Unsure of the best method to regain Skye's attention, he loudly cleared his throat. "So," he interjected causing their gazes to return in his direction, halting their reactions a moment. "I suppose that I'll catch up with you later then?"

With a bright smile upon her face which warmed him greatly since he was primary the reason why it was there, his lovely fiancée broke free from her friends and walked back over to him, leaning upward to press a soft kiss to his lips. "Until then," she whispered. "Love you."

"Love you more." Sending her a quick wink and smile, he reached for the handle of his suitcase and began heading toward the Superstar locker room where he found Colby and Jon there already unpacking their things.

"There he is." Colby chuckled, clapping his hands loudly together as he approached the Samoan, "Officially off the market and breaking hearts everywhere!"

Joe shook his head in amusement, "I'm been off the market for two years now, man."

"Yeah, but you sealed the deal and put a ring on it," Colby pointed out and extended a hand to him. "I mean it's not like we all didn't see this coming, but nevertheless congrats, man."

The two share a hearty handshake. "Thanks."

Jon came over and did the same. "Even though I think getting married is a complete waste of time, I'm happy for you both."

Joe scoffed, "Spoken like a permanent bachelor."

"Damn straight," Jon nodded. "I don't need any woman weighing me down. I like my freedom."

Colby rolled his eyes, "You just wait, man, one day some woman is going to knock you off your feet and you'll be eating those words."

Jon snorted, "Don't make me laugh."

With a teasing grin, Joe spoke up, "You could always let Skye set you up. I have to give her credit - she's pretty damn good at it."

Jon raised a finger to point at him in warning as Joe walked over to an available locker, "If your girlfriend..."

"Fiancée," Joe corrected, proudly. "Please make sure you address her as such from here on out."

With an annoyed glare, Jon continued, "Whatever, I'm not interested in becoming her next charity case. I can get my women, damn it."

"Still, I may bring it up to her," Joe shrugged, turning around to busy himself with his bag in order to hide the grin on his face.

"Not if you value you're life you won't," the sandy hair man growled while Colby just looked on in amusement.

Joe shook his head, "You can't do the whole hooking up forever, man."

"It's been doing just fine for me, thanks. So, if we could change the subject now – I'm beginning to feel like we're a bunch of gossiping women or something."

"Fine, fine," Joe remarked and began pulling out his gear. As he did so, he couldn't contain the smile on his face caused by the wonderful weekend he had experienced.

"Skye, it's gorgeous," Brie gushed as the group of divas walked alongside the other as they made their way down the hallway on the way toward the women's locker room to begin getting dressed for the show.

"I know, right," Skye agreed in almost disbelief as her eyes drifted back to the diamond on her left hand which was currently in Nattie's own hand as it was being admired. "It's – it's just perfect." Her eyes gazed at each of her friends. "I mean I'm getting married – me – I'm getting married."

Her friends giggled in delight as Nikki hugged an arm around her waist, "What'd I tell you, huh? I told you that it was a matter of time and now look at you! You're engaged to the love of your life!"

Before Skye could respond to her friend's words, their path was blocked by a certain Apex Predator who stood in the middle of the corridor with a blank look upon his face and mouth slightly ajar.

The three women glanced quickly at their friend who seemed very cool, calm, and collected. "Oh, hey, Randy," she greeted smoothly.

"You're getting married," he questioned, glancing down at her left hand almost as a further confirmation.

She nodded, "Yeah, he asked me this weekend."

With a tight smile and a few nods of his head, he cleared his throat, "Well, that's great." His eyes avoided hers as he rattled off, "Good for you. Congrats." He gave her a brief smile though it seemed forced. "I'll let you ladies get back to what you were doing." He parted ways with a quick wave and hurried off.

"Awkward," Nikki sang as the foursome entered the Diva's locker room just a few feet away.

"You're telling me," Skye chuckled. "It's kind of hard to avoid, though, you know? I mean my ex and fiancée are in a storyline together so..." Shaking her head, she continued. "To be honest, I don't even care. There is nothing that could ruin my mood right now."

The moment the words were said, a particular long-legged blonde decided to approach and she couldn't only mutter, "Spoke to soon."

"So, the rumors are true then," Summer remarked, scowling. Skye's released a calming breath as the other woman continued, "He's actually going to marry you?" The blonde snarled her nose and Skye rolled her eyes.

"I guess good news travel fast," Skye shrugged. With a wide, gloating smile, she crossed her arms, "Don't even waste your time trying to ruin this for me because...there is nothing you can say that will ever make this," she waved her engagement ringed hand in the woman's face, "Not reality." She tilted her head at the now scowling blonde. "Now if you don't mind, I have to get ready for the show. Then my fiancée and I will continue our celebration when we get to our hotel tonight."

She stepped forward and tilted her head as Brie, Nikki, and Nattie stifled their laughter.

"Oh and I assure you there will be a lot of celebrating and the last thing that we'll be thinking about is some pathetic blonde who can't get it through her delusional mind that he and I are the real deal. So, maybe you should stop focusing all of this attention on my personal life and worry about trying to keep what's left of your self-respect and move on."

Summer went to speak, but Skye cut her off.

"Nope, not finished," Skye stated plainly. "Look, as much as this pains me to say to you, Summer, but you do have talent to make it in this business. If you want to remain on the main roster, maybe you should just set your sights on improving your career and less time on my relationship with my fiancée."

When she finished her spiel and seemed to have every diva's attention in the locker room, Skye walked past the stunned blonde and went on with her business.

Summer turned to stare around the room, looking for the first time embarrassed by her behavior. With a slight huff, she spun around and stomped from the room.

"That was amazing," Nattie commented in awe. "She really needed that wake up call."

"I'm just so tired of wasting my energy fighting with that woman."

"You're right," Nikki agreed. "There are much more important things to focus on – like planning your wedding! So, let's get down to it..."

Skye was suddenly pushed down to sit on a bench as the Bella twins and Nattie began shooting out ideas for the wedding that she had barely a moment to even think about.

A sense of anxiety seemed to fill her entire body as the three women kept talking. Oh shit – this is real.

"You look a bit frazzled, sis," Phil commented in amusement when she walked into his tour bus an hour later with a couple hours until show time.

"Just a bit overwhelmed," she admitted with a soft chuckle as she dropped in the seat opposite of him at the make-shift dining table. "Where's April?"

"Getting ready for the show," he responded. "She said something about going over a few things with Tamina and Aksana." His eyes twinkled. "So, let me see it."

With a small smile, she extended her left hand to him where he took it lightly. "Anoa'i, has some good taste - nothing too flashy, just right for my little sister." He released her hand and smiled.

"I think so," she stated then sighed. "The Bella's are already hounding me about wedding details! I mean I just got engaged last night and I haven't even begun to really process all of this."

He raised a curious brow, "You haven't? I figured that's what women do from adolescence – you know plan everything down to color of the tablecloths."

"I had a bad perception of love in my adolescence if you remember correctly," she pointed out with a snort. "Plus it's not like we had the best examples of what a real marriage looks like growing up."

Chuckling, her brother nodded in agreement. She released a soft sigh.

"They keep asking me things like what my dress is going to look like, the wedding date, and what flowers I'm choosing! It's all a bit overwhelming."

"It is what you want, right?"

Her eyes met his and she quickly nodded. "Absolutely, it's just all so suddenly real, you know?" She stared down at her ringed hand that rested now on the table top. "I'm getting married, Phil." She smiled happily. "As long as Joe is at my side, I don't care about anything else."

He gave her a smile of his own, "Then don't sweat the whole planning thing. Take it at your own pace. You'll figure out what you want."

She nodded again, "Yeah, I kind of want to enjoy this for a bit." She blew out a breath. "I never thought this would ever happen to me."

He scoffed, "You always sell yourself short, sis. Joe's damn lucky to have someone like you."

"I know," she relented then smiled again. "You know what? Even though I don't have any idea what I want my dress to look like or hell, even the venue picked out – there is one thing that I've already decided on."

When she didn't continue, he spoke up, "Well?"

"Actually," she began. "It's something that I want to ask you."

"I'm not officiating," he threw out jokingly and she rolled her eyes.

"Nah shit," she snorted. "I wanted to ask you if you would do me the honor and walk me down the aisle."

For the first time in a very long time, her brother actually looked stunned, "What, wait – me?"

"Well, yeah, it's something I've always thought about."

"But, I mean, shouldn't that be done by a father figure type," he asked with a soft, uneasy laugh. "I mean I'm sure Chase would be happy to do it."

"I know," she nodded, thinking of the only father figure that she had in her life presently. "His time will come and he can walk all of his daughters down the aisle, but I really, really want my big brother, the one person who's has always protected me my entire life, to be the one who gives me away." She frowned slightly. "Unless, you say no, and that's okay because I mean I don't want to force to do anything…"

He slipped out of his seat and chuckled, "Just shut up and hug me."

She let out a choked out laugh and stood up. He pulled her into his arms and she questioned softly, "So, will you?"

"Do I have to wear a tux?"

"Possibly."

"Will it make you happy?"

"Immensely," she responded, her face pressed to his chest as he hugged her.

He let out a dramatic sigh, "I guess I'll do it."

She slapped his chest and pulled away, "You're an ass."

"So I've been told from time to time," he agreed laughing. "Look, Gracie, I would love to walk you down the aisle."

"Good."

"So, let's talk about this whole tux thing..."

Skye could only roll her eyes. "Still to be decided."

"Damn..."
